in context to living life really i mean if someone is average/below average in looks and isn't getting success in dating apps, what other way is there to form relationships if not through social means People like to complain that they can't make friends or get into relationships, but can they hold an exciting conversation? Can they make the other party laugh? etc It may not be the exact answer for the short term but atleast social skills somewhat get you in the door for consideration

Solid point right there. I remember I wanted to get McDonald's at night one time and my mom was against it implying something bad will happen. Of course I knew nothing bad was going to happen since we live in a safe neighborhood, but subconsciously her words dug into me, making me more uneasy to be outside in a really safe neighborhood. What I'm trying to say is fear culture, even if you don't buy into it and try to get out of its influence, it still has a subconscious hold on you

It's just as simple as there's too much things going on/balls in the air right now. People are slowly becoming more asocial right now. Social media has made more people insecure about their looks/personality There's not that strong of an incentive to have sex other than to connect to someone else (due to the vast majority of available porn) And there's the simple fact that a lot of the things we used today are meant to keep you addicted
