Since when do you answer to the receptionist? That's a position you tell what you are doing, not ask.

I have a good friend, great guy who's always got my back, who's a "natural alpha" and honestly I can only hang around him for limited amounts of time. I just feel like he's condescending all the time although I don't think he sees it that way. It's just gonna be lonely at the top I guess.

Second this one. Always love hearing real talk from someone who has lived it. Almost every video he tells you to AVOID prison, but he also expresses very well how he has chosen to use the experience to better his life.

I think this film is so interesting because it was the first Brad Bird project with Pixar, and part of the deal to bring him on board was his complete control. Because of this, it stands apart from most Pixar films thematically.

Many male managers and small business owners I know quietly avoid hiring females for just this reason. It's not worth the risk to them or their employees.

Seconding the use of Workflowy and Lifesum, great tools. I also recommend Nomie for tracking those odds and ends that aren't within any other app. It's basically a universal tracker, so you could actually use it for most everything if you take the time to set it up.

Thank you for spreading truth! The concept of muscle growth vs tendon strength is very important but highly underappreciated. If you damage a muscle, it can grow back. If you damage a tendon, you'll never recover to the same level again.

48 laws of power, how to win friends and influence people, etc are applicable to most relationships. Assuming it's a relationship you really want to foster, you may have to actually sit down and write the person's name on an index card. List their faults/weaknesses, strengths, etc and how they are (or could be) beneficial to your life. This can go as far as making a character sheet for them so you have a concrete list of qualities to look at instead of just an emotional connection, which can be …

Probably at least a C, maybe a G if you can reach it. Kidding aside, if you have to second guess the tone or positivity of a text conversation, send her a dumb joke. A meme, pun, etc shows that you put her and hilarity on the same level (meaning you see her as someone who "enjoys having fun") IRL convos can use the same tactic, but you have the benefit of physical interaction. That does sound a lot like external control, if you are only the sum of your experiences. What about personal agency? (Unless it's more of the martial arts approach of "be water"; meaning you fill whatever situation which you are presented.)

Make them gain confidence by giving you the answer. I've started incorporating this more as of late, and it does make them more confident in themselves. I could see it in one's eyes today, they realized just how much they had already learned. I also get the voice students to critique each other. You're already losing if you base your frame on her feelings about the situation. Outcome independence/indifference I would believe is the best thing for this. Keep doing what you know is best, eventually she'll have to keep up.

This reminds me of the movie The Transporter, where at the beginning he won't drive his passengers because "the deal" was only for two and they brought three. He holds frame, they ditch one guy, epic car chase ensues. Unfortunately he breaks his own rules (for a woman no less) but somehow everything works out because movie.

Nice - All men ARE the romance in a relationship. (You define the frame, but also women typically aren't the ones who create large romantic gestures)

forget about youre cellphone While this may be a typo, it still holds true for many people (myself at one time included) - you have to realize that you are more than a cell phone. You are more than a Facebook account. You are a living, breathing human being with more thoughts and desires than could possibly fit into 140 characters or a "relationship status" change. Time spent unplugged from the constraints of technology is a must.

How can you be enjoying a movie, if you have to stop to ask yourself "Am I enjoying the movie?" It seems to be a difference in opinion of total personal control vs total "letting go"

women dont have 'female spaces' I disagree - they form knitting groups as they get older, go to the bathroom in groups, go out on "ladies nights," etc. They are very comfortable in packs.

I think this is the reason we still see people saying "women are a mystery" and "you'll never know what she wants." They are re-quoting old sayings about the male-female dynamic that are no longer applicable. Technological advancements combined with the feminist agenda put us in a unique place in history to observe and analyze true female behavior.

/r/TheRedPill30/07/14 09:01 AM
3

Yes exactly! Hence my original statement. Typically a male involved in a physical altercation with a female is treated like a murderous wretch regardless of his intent or level of aggression. My arguably ineffective attempt at sarcastic humor was made to point out that if you're getting charged with the whole thing, might as well make it worth it. Perhaps my tongue was not planted firmly enough in-cheek.
/r/MensRights26/07/14 06:49 PM

Well I'm assuming that once it comes to blows the situation has escalated past the point of no return. I'm not going to turn my back on someone who means me physical harm.
/r/MensRights25/07/14 05:43 PM
10

If I'm judged differently based on whom I scuffle with, it only makes sense to adjust my strategy accordingly. I have nothing against the female gender, but do not appreciate their elite untouchable privileges.
/r/MensRights24/07/14 03:24 PM
12

This kind of story makes me think if I'm ever in an altercation with a female I need to get in as many punches as I can since I'll be charged for it anyways

It sounds like a dystopian scifi novel until you realize that is the exact trajectory in our society (speaking as an American). "Reducing aggression" blamed on anything from terrorists to drug lords could result in a basically slave-state male populace.

Good point- it would be interesting to see the inverse (complementary?) data, of what age women are who send messages to a given income bracket.

Typical sales/bargaining tactics - convince them you aren't going all in yet because you may have other options.

A person will always lose a fight with reality. Quote of the day for me, thanks.

Saved this one! Unfortunately, I was also given a VERY cold reception when I first posted here. Being a male, I was rather surprised and it turned me off, but I'm coming back around.

Well at least that way he can't say we treated him poorly when he's brought to testify before the robot tribunal someday.

I am pushing for answers, but having never had sex, yes I'd say I'm a tad naive in that department. I want to save it for my wife someday so it can be something we share between us and no one else. I will also be treating my wife as something more important than a rudimentary object like a car. Our "performance" together is something I hope to be very open and accommodating about. As I mentioned previously, I'm usually the nice guy and I guy out of my way to make the other person comfortable in …

Ahh I see. Hence the reason for never marrying a woman who considers divorce an option.

True, but it does mean goal oriented- she gets things done.

Rulings regarding what? I'm not getting divorced, if that's what you mean.

What does "sexually incompatible" even mean? Also, just because a belief or lifestyle is "old-fashioned" doesn't mean it's wrong.

The main problem I'm foreseeing the next time I find a prospect is being too nice, funny as that may sound. I don't let people walk on me, but I do tend towards being "the nice guy" most of the time. I don't think it's a problem, I just want to be careful not to spoil a girl into thinking that I'll do whatever she wants.

Well I don't plan on "getting intimate" until I get married, so I think I'll know her pretty well by then.
