How to move onI feeling this so hard lately. Thanks for this post. I'm here for the comments | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/02/26 06:50 PM
Your mind tricking you into missing herSame. And then the toxic cycle would continue | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/01/26 04:37 AM
She wanted to prove she could do it without me 🤣Same situation. I told my kids though because she likes to parade around and create this facade like she's doing so much better without me and how I was the problem. I'm not allowing that false narrative to exist | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/12/25 10:10 PM

When will it end?Thank you! This type of thinking is what made want the divorce in the first place. I knew that I was living a lie and settling. I did/do have love for her, but deep down I know I would've regretted tolerating that relationship for another 18 years. I really think the feeling was mutual too. We were both just afraid of the unknown because we're all each other knows. I need to stop looking in the rear view and be grateful that the toxicness is ending. | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/10/25 08:02 PM
When will it end?Great point. What would you do this time around if you were in your 30s? I can't tell if I want another wife, want multiple wives, don't want a wife at all, or just want to date. I can't tell if I'm still young I can have kids and choose better this time or if I'm a fool for even considering entertaining the idea ever again | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/10/25 07:55 PM
When will it end?Facts. I can't tell which one it is sometimes. One minute, I think it's the latter because I "led the charge" to divorce with the threats (really as a plea to get her to change) and I feel like a failure for doing it. Then I feel like it's the other thing. She really treated me like sh!t and put me through a lot and I should've left from the beginning, but now I just feel these emotions because I miss my family being one unit. I literally begged her to be nicer to me (yes I was simping for her).… | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/10/25 07:55 PM
When will it end? Thanks! I'll listen to that book on my flight home | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/10/25 07:45 PM
How did you decide what place to get not know if you’ll pay, child support, alimony?I just got an airbnb as I gear up for the process. That way it's month to month, I don't have to worry about furniture, and my kids will have space when they come over | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/12/24 04:36 PM
20 years of marriage suddenly ending. I thought we were ok. Anyone been through this? Two kids. Feel like my life is over.I recommend leaving for a month or so. Give her space so she (and you) can get a taste of what life really is like without each other. She may realize she's making a mistake or you may realize that you are better off without her. Don't beg to stay, just tell her you'll give her time and refuse to sign papers for now. After 17 years, I was at that point with my wife 3 months ago. After living separately for a few months and having time to really think it all through, we decided to keep fighting f… | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/08/24 12:29 AM
