I have my own children that I watch and protect. Who will protect them if I die saving someone else’s kid die to their own lack of awareness parenting? Sorry, honey. Help yourself first.

Men tend towards less risk aversion than women. Seems that nowadays no one understands the usefulness of the male/female dynamic working in tandem, cooperating. That’s how we made it this far. The only reason they are ok with abandoning the male side is because men have made systems and infrastructure that don’t call for as much “male-ness” to survive, so they think they no longer need it. That’s false.

It really feels like one of those Kids Say the Darndest Things skits: “Do we need parents?!?” “No! Parents are doody heads and won’t let us eat candy all day!”

I always think about how women who say things like “no woman should have to [some manual labor task] if she has a man” would fare in a societal collapse. I always assume they’d either immediately die or immediately die and contribute to her family’s death somehow. Women are tough. As tough as men in their own ways. To resign oneself to a role of uselessness is selfish and takes away from the group one is in, especially if one possesses the toughness to contribute. Goes for both men and women.

I compliment men all the time. I’m not gay. Try it and you’ll find that men appreciate other men’s perspectives on themselves.

You can have him go out at night in a remote area, alone, and spend a night or two. He should be prepared with a little food, some tools for a fire and protection, and a sleeping bag - although these are details that are flexible. It should be somewhere that could present some danger, but not excessively. The individual leading the boy on the right of passage must also feel like the boy is ready; he must trust that the boy can be safe in an unsafe situation. I did one of these as a boy, and I’m …

I hate the incapability that many women embrace as if it were more feminine to be inept. Personally I like my women to be strong humans, not weak women. I was raised by strong women and think that I am a strong man. Everyone should strive to be self sufficient and strong humans, not strive to find sunrise to peel shit for you.

Fuck ‘em. Just say “bye Felicia”. They’ll understand that. No one needs to chase after women who aren’t interested. A vacuum will be created and subsequently filled. Do you, men. That’s your duty. Everything else will fall into place.

Cue the Amber Heard herd of great feminist thinkers to begin screaming misogyny on the part of the judge. How dare the judge make it so public perception can't determine the defendants guilt!

I got downvoted to hell in some other sub for pushing back on the idea that misogyny is a problem for women being treated. Doctors aren’t seeing women thinking “damn I hate women and I’m going to misdiagnose this one”. Furthermore, if doctors aren’t taking you seriously when you talk to them about your pain or problems, that’s on no one else but yourself. There’s no need for a huge sociological pressure hypothesis of internalized misogyny blah blah. Just look the doctor in the eye and tell them …

I do understand where you’re coming from. I just don’t want to give them anymore ammo to use by allowing them to say “oh those guys are right wing nut jobs and incels!” I prefer that the men’s rights force exist in both parties.

Being nice adds to your safety. There’s plenty of scenarios in my life where I’ve had to be nice to not get hurt somehow. Things that you do have consequences. Being mean can be a bad strategy for increasing safety for men and women. More of the avoiding consequences shtick from feminists.

For starters, content like this usually includes dialogue about how inept men are; not so subtle misandry. Then, the fact that ALL of the leads are women; in all of the other films women played very prominent roles. So for me it seemed like a mixed cast. There’s usually a women in the main promo photo. Not for this film. Why? Blatant misandry. This post is completely in line with Men’s rights and highlights how “woke” agendas harm these rights.

It’s the same with moderate religious people vs zealots. The moderates create the substrate upon which the zealots thrive. The moderates have a large part in the existence of zealots and can do more to eliminate them. for By speaking out against them more passionately, for example. Same with women and feminists. Non-feminist women, especially those with men that they care about in their lives, must do more to stop these extreme and sexist developments. Otherwise it feels like they are complicit.

Where do you see anyone saying rapists should get off or that rape is anything but horrible? All I see people saying is that there are some significant amount of people who are falsely accused and this is not generally communicated truthfully. Why are you trying to connect that view up to being a rapist or a rape apologist? That seems deliberately manipulative.

There’s a comic that pops up in my feed that a woman makes. It’s usually some situation with her and her boyfriend. It’s always about how she’s basically acting like a child, but the boyfriend seems to remain calm through her childish behavior, and that forms the basis of their “love”. Basically, he has to put up with her childish shit. The creator means to be funny, but all I see is a man babysitting a childish woman. How is that a normal expectation? Pass.

So why doesn’t the “don’t fuck that person” rule apply to women also? Had a baby with a guy that won’t help you with it? Shouldn’t have slept with him! But that’s that doesn’t happen. Women have the backing of the courts to exempt them from repercussions of a bad choice. Men do not.

The averages aren’t where the major differences lies. It’s at the extreme ends where you see differences. So the most violent person in the world may be a man, but on average women and men are equally as violent. You’re close to understanding, just off by a bit.

It’s not score keeping on stories. It’s identifying and navigating trends, behaviors, tendencies, and predispositions. This is how most rational people operate. You’re both missing the larger point.

I understand the limitations of anecdotal evidence. What I’m trying to make you understand is there is a clear pattern that uses anecdotal evidence as support, which is the start of a coherent model. So where you’re saying anecdotal means the issue is false, I’m saying anecdotal plus existing facts supports the veracity of the claim you’re dismissing.

A fact is military, police, and emergency services lower standards to allow women to make it into their organizations in many places. Another fact is that these kinds of jobs often times require high levels of physical strength to effectively execute. And yet another fact is that women, on average, are not as strong as men, physically. This is why the first fact I mentioned is a phenomenon. Combine this with stories like OP’s and you begin to see a picture that shows why women in the roles at is…

Why what has been an issue? There hasn’t been an issue. Late term , elective abortions have been allowed. They shouldn’t be allowed. Now there are states that won’t allow them and some that will.
/r/AntiFeminists28/06/22 03:24 AM

I doubt there is a large group pushing for no abortion no matter what. I think that’s part of the problem here. We’re talking about a nuanced issue in RvW or repealed RvW. There’s other options between. Edit: and even if some states are, don’t live in them. Live in the ones that are more lenient with abortions. Religious zealots should get somewhere to feel good too, even if I disagree with them.
/r/AntiFeminists28/06/22 03:17 AM

Most people here don’t have an issue with abortion rights, within certain parameters. Even pro life groups push for health and rape or incest exceptions. Most people taking issue take issue with late term elective abortions and the fact that men don’t have an equivalent financially. That’s not an unreasonable position.

Being anti elective late term abortions is compassionate. I am not a conservative and I believe that aborting a late term baby (>26 weeks) for anything other than health of the mother is cruel and the same as murdering a post-natal baby. This entire debate seams to be about allowing women at any stage of a pregnancy to abort a baby for any reason. That’s just irrational.

/r/MensRights24/06/22 09:26 PM
10

They say: “yeah, no one should be drafted” but then proceed to only put in any effort to prevent women from being drafted. Their final point always ends up being “if men want to change that, they need to do it for themselves.” Not realizing that with a finite pool of fighting age people it is a zero sum game; fighting for women to not be drafted will mean that men will get drafted.

The funny thing is, when women try anabolic steroids, they LOVE the way they feel, from what I’ve seen and heard. I guess they don’t like that they can’t naturally get that feeling.

/r/MensRights20/04/22 01:29 PM

Serious question and I hope for an answer not a fight: why is someone a bigot if they explain the medical particulars associated with a surgery like that?

Especially insults about how much sex you do or don’t have.
/r/MensRights19/04/22 04:35 PM

You’re trying so hard to convince everyone that they are talking about things that they don’t understand. The irony is that’s exactly what you are doing. Simply professing that you are smart and others are not does not make an argument, and certainly doesn’t make you sound intelligent. You are drawing attention to yourself and your beliefs in such a way as to undermine both.

Inspins. Involuntary spinsters. Even hateful, ugly women have no problem getting sex. So incel doesn’t quite fit. Involuntary spinster- someone who will never find a husband or long term partner, is more fitting.

Well for one thing, women are not wired for monogamy. They actually have a dual mating strategy that is quite conniving. When fertile they prefer different types of men than when not fertile. They also hide their fertility period in order to get as many suitable and well-gened mates and have the sperms fight it out inside. Then once impregnated they look for the mate that can provide stability, whether the father of the child or not (dual mating strategy). Monogamy is not necessarily a model the…

What?? The issue is that there exists no equivalent advert with the genders reversed. That implies that only men are perpetrators. That you are missing that obvious point seems to imply you’re just a misandrist.
/r/AntiFeminists05/03/22 02:39 PM

That’s it exactly. Male labor basically grows on trees in their mind.

/r/AntiFeminists25/02/22 04:32 AM

I think you are missing an important class factor in all of this. There are men (a very small group of powerful elite) who start the wars and then Men (the overwhelming majority of average men who are negatively impacted by wars) who suffer. The two groups are different and share only a Y chromosome.
/r/MensRights24/02/22 06:42 PM

Taxation without representation- like the other commenter said - see the revolutionary war. And before that even. Most of the populaces of most ancient civilizations were poor or slaves. Men and women alike did not have voting rights if they were from that pool.

And women the notion that (specifically) women were “treated as property” is just flat out wrong. So not only does this not happen to women these days, it happened to women historically as much as it happened to their male counterparts.

Educated and intelligent are different things. Starting to sound like you’re actually neither. The cherry on top is your incorrect usage of the notion of false correlation. I really doubt you’re as educated or intelligent as you think you are. You sound quite young, so perhaps that’s what is coming across. With time, you should start to regulate your own opinion of yourself a bit better, and maybe start to see the world more clearly. Good luck with that!
/r/AntiFeminists18/02/22 01:35 PM

It’s not at all clear that you’re well educated given your support of feminism. There need to be large gaps and incorrect information in your body of education to believe what feminism espouses.

Aww. Sorry you’re getting oh so upset. This specific thread never had an argument track. There’s nothing to argue about. It started from your joke about gender studies and women and ended with your unsupported claim that women are somehow systemically blocked from success in hard science work fields. Not sure where you saw snark from me, but you sure seem easily agitated. Go pet your cat and relax.
/r/AntiFeminists19/11/21 05:18 AM

Yeah I’d caution OP about simply conceding points without investigating. I’ll often hear: “I’m for men’s rights and all, but you gotta admit that women are paid less.” Uhhhm, no they aren’t. I think sometimes we feel like we have to concede something to be taken seriously. That should stop.

What’s ironic, is your position screams small dick energy… you don’t have the stones to stand up , or even just be quiet while others stand up, for a clear inequality. Likely because you don’t see it as “a big deal” or “not worth it”. You’re intimidated by the group and decided if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. That’s a pathetic mating strategy, but a mating strategy is what it is.
/r/MensRights22/10/21 04:11 PM

Something tells me you’re the one with mate finding problems.
/r/MensRights22/10/21 04:06 PM

I’m not talking about lifestyle or desire to lose weight. I mean a measurable fat percentage on one’s body. Where did I say anything about fat people wanting one thing or another? Fat means unhealthy. Period.
/r/MensRights12/10/21 08:51 PM

Then they would be genetically predisposed to an unhealthy body type. Just because it’s generic doesn’t mean it is healthy. I don’t think a lot of you know what healthy means.

If you don’t understand what straw man means, or cannot be bothered to look it up, you’re not really worthy to be debating serious issues, in my view. I realized oh are young, but take a bit more time to review what you’re espousing. It will help you going forward.

The funny thing about it all is they don’t realize that type of thinking and attitude gets them less respect. It’s obvious they are envious of something somehow, which is really sad because I’m sure there’s plenty cool things about being a woman to focus on instead of just hating men all day. Women do not really want men to open up emotionally. It’s like a deterrent for their attraction to a man. I think that’s a tactic they use to push their personal or philosophical agendas. If we need to open up as men, it’s best to do so with a friend that is a man or a male family member. Men really are men’s best allies.

What are you talking about? Decades? I am speaking on the order of 150,000 years . Ankle showing or whatever the hell your point is with that has very little to do with genetic predispositions hardwired over thousands of years and expressed in cultures throughout the world and throughout history. Well, I rather like my ability to fight against what I find as weaknesses in my character. I don’t think learning from society that men being tough is toxic. All men only bring tough all the time is not healthy, but we don’t do that as a society. Toxic masculinity doesn’t exist. It’s just a term used for men who behave in conventionally unacceptable ways socially. It’s a bs feminazi term. Drop it from your vocabulary expeditiously if you care about men’s well being.

No one said abandon their wife and child and I doubt there are many examples of that happening. Clearly the conversation is about men in general needing to put their lives on the line for women in general. That’s not man’s obligation. That may be a man’s obligation. It’s certainly not the obligation of US marines, for example, yet there’s a big push for our troops to go and “save the women and girls”. Let’s save all or none.

But then I’d tell them who think like that to check their stats, since overall rate of work is 41%. Almost no one is working and the rates are about in line with a group that prefers the women to be home with the children , but can also work if they want. I’d then tell them that their starts for secondary education in women is off by some 30% and I’d direct them to the actual stat, here: https://tradingeconomics.com/afghanistan/percentage-of-students-in-upper-secondary-education-who-are-female-p…

It’s like they think taliban rule is some paradise for men because men are the face. Do they know there are women taliban members who can be just as brutal as the men? No they don’t know or they don’t care
/r/MensRights25/08/21 04:04 AM

Hey. Don’t you know those guys only need to show their patriarchy card and they get free taliban merch? Of course they also willingly turn over their wives and daughters as soon as the taliban asks for them. They don’t put up a fight at all. 🙄

So more and more posts of male genital mutilation and how it’s butchery. I agree because the fucking message NEEDS to be understood. I can’t believe how it’s taken so lightly. To me it is actually the crux of the entire men’s rights movement since it’s the earliest example of discrimination in one’s life and NO ONE GIVES A SHIT except us. So it’s really the perfect topic to put all of our efforts into as a start. I think once everyone acknowledges this, the other issues may get recognition as we…

My thing is: disrespect ABOUNDS on those misandrist subs. It’s disgusting. “Scrotes, men suck, take their money, small dock energy”. How can men be expected to take the high road at every single turn? I think it is fun to be disrespectful to someone or some group who is being disrespectful to you. That’s just my take. Once the respect returns to us, we will gladly return it back. I always had, up until the recent clown world turn.

That’s a profound insight sir, and I am in agreement there. I too am a bit older than the guys who are still looking for their first mountain to climb. I keep hearing about how women have no rights under the taliban and so we need to give them evac priority. So death is better than losing rights? Because that’s what happens to the men who were at all part of the former regime. It’s rather disgusting how many people think like this.

How does this pertain to men’s rights? Because women in western society maintain the privilege to be able to say this and with all seriousness and they are applauded for the attitude. /r/MensRights08/08/21 05:03 PM

Nope. Because a larger percentage of women are like this vs men that are rapists. Not equal. Me: “All women take showers.” You: “not all women. That’s a generalization. So all men are mass murdering pigs by that logic?!?” Me: “ no. Shower taking is behavior that is deemed normal by society and found in a large percentage of women. Murdering and raping are not these things.” I love the false equivalence though.
/r/MensRights08/08/21 05:01 PM

Because you’re making inflammatory statements for no reason. If I go to 2X and say “a lot of women are whores with no sense of decency” how do you think I’d get treated? It’s true, but why would I go say that there and expect upvotes.
/r/MensRights08/08/21 04:48 PM

You’re right and these people arguing with you are wrong. False accusations are a problem for those experiencing them no matter the rates. And there are other issues that also present problems for men - circumcision, divorce rape, family court, homelessness, draft, etc - all of these are primarily male issues and feminists don’t give a fuck about them. Why should I give a fuck about their issues? Especially given that when their issues are taken seriously, less attention and resources are given …
/r/MensRights08/08/21 04:46 PM

Being fair works for me. Except this isn’t a character who is raping people. She’s doing things that are perceived by society as mysterious and acceptable. Not raping people. There’s a difference. So no, it’s not like that. “Generally, women like to eat food.” “That’s like saying all men are violent killers!” Uhm, no it’s not. Edit: any movie with men raping people would be a horror movie. This was a “love” story. False equivalence.

Who is she, Lexi Luthor? She looks like a damn Feminazi super villain.
/r/AntiFeminists08/08/21 02:45 PM

I’m going to save your comment if you don’t mind and refer to it again. You’re exactly right and I try to explain this whenever I have the energy. Feminists are a radical hate group. Period. This particular group wants to see men lose rights and freedoms. What else do we need to know?
/r/MensRights08/08/21 02:38 PM
7

Brother. This is it exactly. Their goal is to obfuscate so we can’t follow. Thing is, they aren’t that smart so the “logic” trail usually ends at “misogynist!” or “incel!”. They also employ male confederates often, who parrot those statements you noted. This isn’t about gender per se. It’s about a radical group of women who are a vast minority, who have made it their mission to remove rights from men through multiple channels.
/r/MensRights08/08/21 02:36 PM

Not all women, but enough to make the generalization work. In fact, enough such that the character of Jenny is believable as a real woman. Never once heard anyone say “oh that’s just not believable. A woman would never be like that!” Because it is, in fact, believable. Because it’s behavior that comes naturally to women. Doesn’t mean they all act on it.

The Misandry that I am rallying against is the misandry that sees this sub in jeopardy while feminist extremist subs are safe and the misandry that you seem to be supporting by asking us not to criticize the group that the is most anti-men’s rights , feminists. What’s damaging is trying to appease those who we know to be against men’s rights and who are not operating in good faith. It’s a terrible tactic to rollover for those who you know are being malicious. Not clear what you’re hoping to accomplish if you know this sub will be banned, you know feminists and misandrists will do and say anything to make MRA subs look bad, and you know in general these people do not believe our position is worth anything. You know they actively seek to harm the rights …

Just saw a video of a girl kicking a guy hard in the balls. Looked like a joke maybe, but imagine a joke with a guy doing the exact same kick to a women. Everyone involved would be banned and it would be written about as an example of misogyny. At this point things are becoming very dangerous for men.

So you’ll blatantly ignore #killallmen or the feminist thought leaders who advocate reducing the male population significantly. Or those that advocate that women do nothing that requires a man. Not everyone advocates for this but a significant force of feminists do. But you are aware if this.

Outdated concepts of masculinity is sexist. You’ve mentioned a patriarchy- that is sexist. Your entire tone here is sexist and condescending to men. You, inherently, being how you are, embody sexism. You’d be better suited bitching about men and how feminists “help “ men over in a sub with sexists like yourself.
/r/MensRights06/08/21 08:47 AM

Can you explain how the lies you’re telling about women being kept down and denied rights due to some male structures society that helps only men Is not sexist?

Because saying there has been a concerted effort on the part of feminists to remove rights from men and give rights to women is not sexism. Not everything that mentions women as a group or subgroups of women is sexist. You’ve got that “you spoke poorly about a women therefore you are sexist” circuit loose on your brain it seems.

Exactly my point. You’ve slid far down the slope on this one. From a few states not allowing abortion (by the way the next state over allows it) to this meaning women do not have body autonomy in the US. You’re making absurd arguments.
/r/MensRights06/08/21 08:28 AM

Dude you’re kidding right? Haven’t you just been talking about the evil man-built patriarchy that oppressed women because they are women? But that’s a fine generalization about men, right? You have got to be a troll account because you’re talking in circles and it seems deliberate.
/r/MensRights06/08/21 08:25 AM

So some states don’t allow abortions and from this you’ve gleaned the existence of a Patriarchy set out to destroy the rights of women? 🤦‍♂️ You live in a fantasy world.

You’re just making shit up. When we’re women considered property and in what society? The problem is you’ve bought into the helpless women non-sense and this has never been true. Im not denying the mistreatment of women, I’m saying that women and poor men have always had the same rights and power. You’re walking into the trap that women have set where they feign helplessness but really the goal is to gain power over poor men. The argument is not with men, it’s with the elite. But women believe t…

Men cannot abort a baby that they create with a woman if they decide. If the woman decides to keep it, he’s on the hook financially. If the woman decides to abort, he loses a kid. Women have the power here. Edit: not to mention there are free birth control options for women that men do not have access to. What world do you live in?

VOTING WAS TIED TO THE DRAFT. The only reason non-property owners were allowed to vote was because the draft was instituted. Women couldn’t be drafted hence they couldn’t vote. Prior to this only landowners could vote and most men didn’t own land. You ought to do some more research.

You aren’t sexist for calling out dysfunction. Dysfunctional people come in all genders. They aren’t discussing in good faith. That’s the first thing you need to come to terms with. They are fighting by any means necessary to maintain perception. Their message and entire existence goes out the window when people understand that their facts are lacking so they never argue on that side. Never be “thirsty” for anything. Always be able to move on to the next thing and never be desperate for something. That goes for women, contracts you really wanted, material things… appreciate things, but never obsess over them. Alone and lonely aren’t the same. The pressure of not having think about what another adult wants or needs or feels is immensely liberating. And that applies to the good times of a relationship. When things are bad in a relationship, it is unhealthy for you, so taking the relationship avoidance route saves your life from that perspective. Also, I keep close “friends” with women so I can not throw the baby out with the bath water so to speak. Although some would argue this can be dangerous if not…

The thing that gets me the most is that since this is an anonymous platform there’s no easy way for me to neutralize that incel shit so they can’t use that in their “argument”. I have kids, ex wives, and am probably closer to being a voluntary celibate given that I’ve climbed that mountain enough to see past it. All men have had to register for the selective service. This means their names are on a list and this list of people could be activated if there is a war and the government decides to draft people. This legislation makes it so women too must put their name on the “you-might-get-drafted-for-war” list. In other words, it’s a step towards equality but the feminazis hate it. Interesting. Thanks for the info. I specifically mentioned feminism as being a radical and divisive group. 2 of the articles you shared talk about women who specifically went against feminism, and the third is a women’s activist fighting against a dowry law that ultimately harms women . You either didn’t read your own articles, or you are now switching the focus of the discussion (is this in line with good faith debating?) The examples seem to help my point, so it’s odd that you’d share them , a…

I don’t care why it has support. It is harmful, often irrational , and ignores science and reason, in many cases. There’s gaslighting, manipulation, and blatant disregard for anything but their movement advancing. Not a single woman in my life actually feels treated unfairly at a systemic level, and if they find themselves in a situation where they feel they are, I will aid them as I can. For the sake of fairness. That’s equality or egalitarianism. Feminism is about the advancement of the influe…

Men of all races should be United around this because any one male group can (and will eventually) be picked off. The intersectionality trope is a divide and conquer strategy. Men of all races can get a 2 fer if done right; unite over gender and then solve race discrepancies if and where they exist, as men. I think this feminazi bs affords men of character of any race a very unique opportunity in history to wake up a bit and move forward, together. I don’t identify and wouldn’t normally be ident…

It became a gender issue after women got the right. Non landowner men only got it to “pay” for their conscription. But women were not drafted and still got the vote.
