I know it seems to be taboo here but I jumped into a new relationship and it’s made the journey not only bearable but fun.

I used what I call “the twin horsemen” bumble and tinder and I NEVER pay. Idk what you have in your city but sometimes the apps do suck. I would carry some cards with my cell and when I saw someone I was interested in, I say something like , Hi, my names Mark, what’s your name? I then say, well I’m in a hurry to get to work (or wherever) but here is my card, give me a call or text me if you want.” Wholefoods, art museums, campuses, coffee shops. Anyway with my technique it lessens the pain of re…

I am still with my angel I know I’m blinded by the headlights but my gf has huge caramel colored nipples and is 24 they look like huge Hershey kisses so im using these to guide me rn

Guys I don’t know how many of you ended up getting divorced over some kind of sex issue. I guess I should have posted this in the dead bedroom forum, my bad, sorry. For marriage number two I have heard agsin and again NOT to go into a marriage with any kind of bedroom issues. So I’m trying to be “proactive”, forgive me! I’m leaning on one header per week and two boom booms I am not trying to be comical but we must keep laughing this is a grim corner of the internet but I have to say not as grim …

Backstory for all that think I’m being a ruthless prick, controlling sex fiend, or a broke ex-divorcee. Ok I know how it sounds. But, if you go to the dead bedroom forum you may understand more. My STBXW well she was a 7-8 out of 10 and had a sleek body and was almost all ways ready for sex. That was not our problem. I was the main problem, I came home from work to just isolate and ignore her. Maybe this is a 30 something phenom, it looks bad now. I asked her in 2014 to help me I felt like I was…

Wow I have seen and heard of some con jobs but wow be careful out there! One girl took me a while back, for only $30 but the b was cleaver. We matched on a lesser dating app, and guys I have been in the game for 9 years and I recommend only bumble and tinder and I never gave either a dime . Another time a girl came back to my room at the casino and we were preparing to get intimate and she told me to freshen up (shower) about 20 seconds after getting in shower spidey senses went up and sure enou…

I have some great advice, listen to all the Reddit cheating stories on YouTube. Olivia’s , Autoras, more love tv, etc etc After a while you will see and hear patterns and you will gain perspective and , I think, strength as well as strategy ! I wish I had both this forum and all these stories, true and fabricated but valuable to help me in the early stages when my stbxw was a cheatin

Hi, I have SEVERE ADHD, I feel ya on your pain. I can’t speak for others but for myself, I downloaded bumble and tinder (I call them the twin horseman), got my best pictures and gave it a go. In my 50’s I didn’t know what to expect. Many my age swear off dating apps for some reason. There are like 50 million Americans in the apps. You can’t catch a fish without setting out a line. I hate rejection and it’s awkward approaching women in a grocery store, out and about sometimes. What I didn’t expec…

This is the problem and I know how weak I have been, here’s the quick backstory. In 2015 my stbxw, Brazilian, told me she couldn’t handle the climate anymore in Kentucky and wanted to move to miami , into our beachfront property we got a super great deal on , we bought a bank sale in 2011 for $350,000. The single biggest mistake in my life was allowing this. I am a chiropractor, I work very hard and we were doing great before this, with a nice house and lifestyle. Then in 2015 she became cold, r…

Well, I’m in my 50’s , about 2015 I got in the dating world, I usually met women out at bars, etc but about 2017 I downloaded bumble and tinder, never ever paid a dime, I didn’t spend alot of time there just a few minutes daily and when I got matches I would talk to them usually via text and meet them for a drink. I was shocked 2 days after installing tinder there was a girl back at my apt! I thought it was the greatest app EVER, still kind of do. I met my current girlfriend on tinder, she isn’t…

It’s free, it will not make you get LESS pussy. There is no shame in it 1/3 of American singles are there. Go to every live show, festival you can. Good luck you got it

I think you’re just in a rut, but you do have game. BUT, you have a bad vibe with the dating apps. I have been seperated , aka single since 2015 , I’m 58 so imagine it being that much harder. I am a “o natural kind of guy like you are, and I have done well in the wild. Bars, etc. I’m very comfortable there. And met a girl I called baby, 25, she was getting a hard time from the bouncer. Ok here’s my advice I’m 58 and at 49 got thrust into being seperated. For 6 months I was in the fetal position. Really going through it. I went to a Reggae fest in the spring and vowed to get a girlfriend. I met a lovely African girl from Sudan, 29, she helped me but turned out she wanted the white picket fence and I wasn’t after my 17 year marriage. So I downloaded the twin horsemen, bumble and tinder someone gave me that advice. For past 8 years I have had 4 good relationships with sexy younge…

Well great question! She runs her parents cleaning business, they all are Brazilian so they can jet at any time really. They are very educated, she has been very paranoid about disclosing that she does ANYTHING for work or her dad or get paid, probably her attorney told her this. We talked last week after mediation broke down and she FINALLY sees that paying the attorneys is a fools game. BuT then she wants 11 k a month alimony for 5 years 10 k a month for 5 years . And she wants to value my bus…

Once he is 18 and off to college it’s a different story. That’s my strategy now. Make sure he is ok, that he gets to the right school. We were a happy family until she took him to Florida and moved into this rental property. This was the biggest mistake of my life letting this happen. We need to get divorced, I basically gave her 8 years of free ride to not disrupt my son . If he ends up great which I am hopefull he will it’s a win with a loss
/r/Divorce_Men06/02/24 03:12 AM

Thanks and you are right, go to trial and in 18 months my son will be 18 anyway . My lawyer spread my legs it’s insane this alimony demand . Yes I will fight it and she is so insane she will just spend all of her money down

Thanks this is helpful. Yes in Florida I am on the hook for 17 years. But I can go broke or retire or get injured and after a few years modify the alimony….i hope!! She’s a true blood sucker, she claims she doesn’t work but runs daddies business hard to prove! I’m coming out of mediation and want a 50/50 split. I know it’s my money. I’m telling you how SHE thinks . I swear her attorney knows just how to get her riled up and entitled. I need to have like 3 years alimony 5 tops

We owe 1.1,million in taxes, our place is maybe worth 2 million. I know the business is worth zero. We don’t have enough in marital assets to pay taxes. This came to a head because she’s living there with my son and I’ve been enabling her all this time. I finally understand what I need to do, thanks to my tax lawyer. Wait for the IRS to give us a final notice. Put the place up for sale Pay the IRS. The alimony bullshit is what I need to fix now. No damn way I’m going to be saddled with this crus…

Well her lawyer threatened me with a court order, and my stupid lawyer backed him up. I sent the bitch $195,000 as a result and got behind yet another year in taxes. Now I’m not sending her anything and letting the IRS get us our final levy notice. Our $350 k investment in 2011 is worth a lot and will just about set us free of the taxes, debts, but here again she wants 100 k out of there and no way Jose. It’s WAY more difficult than this. I have contracts with 20 or more different insurers , each one is lots of paperwork and a process. I bought it for $45,000 and would be lucky to sell it for $150,000, they valued it at $400,000 k and want 1/3 ($200,000 of my retirement ) this is what I’m trying to get help on

YES I am listening to everyone’s input yes it’s very helpful! It’s still stuck and my damn lawyer is on vacation until Feb 16th. New lawyer is $5000 and since I’m basically lawyer- less I have been coming here , absolutely desperate to resolve this. I will go to court but court is ANOTHER $20,000 so if there is a way to avoid court I’m trying to do that. Hearing about past alimony cases is helpful . Everyone agrees my alimony is sky high.

We are trying to come to terms with the divorce. We owe a shitload of back taxes. She has $317,000 in liquid assets and $225,000 in retirement assets. I want to pay the IRS and let her fend for herself, maybe she can actually get a job to help with our 16 year old . We were married for 23 years, and I’m 58. Her offer was terrible, she wants me to pay 11 k a month for 5 years and then 10 k a month for 5 years.

This is exactly why I dated girls in their 20’s for the past several years. And I found the right one, finally , after 16 months and I’m gonna marry her, with a prenup, of course. Married 23 years how much alimony? 17 years right? She doesn’t work if I make 30 k then pay $10.5 k per month taxes can she get $11 k a month for 5 years and then 10 k a month for 5 years?

Oh yea she still hasn’t gotten a job even though we have been going through this for a year. I’m not here to vent though, I initiated the divorce, I should have done this a long time ago! Let me give you gentleman real simple numbers so you can tell me if I’m getting killed, or it’s not far off. She doesn’t work I’m 58, self employed I had a great year last year made $30,000 a month profit. BUT, as it turned out I was a total simp and sent her $228,000 right off the top and now I’m behind on tax…
