I am 58, self employed, married 23 years, wife had affair and is a spending nightmare and I finally pulled the plug. We went to mediation and my lawyer SUCKED!

She wants me to pay a giant alimony for 10 years, saying she is cutting me a deal because it should be 17 years and it’s very high even by the calculations.

Question, I think she shortened it to 10 because no judge would have me working past 67, (she bumped it up accordingly 11 k a month for 5 10 k for 5?

Thanks in advance whst is the exact deal on alimony?!
