Hi my good gentlemen of Reddit.

I took the advice of many on here and didn’t sign a terrible deal for me. I fired my useless attorney and ponied up the $6500 the new guy wanted. He was recommended from a college friend that said he was a bulldog, a fighter for him so here we go for round 2.

He asked me what his marching orders are. I’m 58 and could not stomach 10 years of crazy high alimony 11k/month for 5 years, then 10 k per month for 5 years. I told him to look for every advantage top to bottom.

We have been estranged/seperated by state for 9 years . The first really shitty thing she did was sell our investment condo in Rio without telling me and pocketing all the money.

Her father bought a cleaning business in Miami about 8 years ago and my STBXW has been running it, albeit poorly because she’s a princess that sleeps all day , but my lousy lawyer didn’t bring this up at all in mediation that I’m sure she makes some income from this, and can in the future.

She also has gotten her real estate license although I doubt she will ever earn any meaningful income but who knows…

My son is 16.5 years old so really I should have waiting until He was 18 but I met a beautiful young woman have been with her 1.5 years very happy with her and she doesn’t want me married . Can’t blame her for that .
