Well I found the key to the safe and I went through the safe. Every key document is missing. Marriage Cert, birth certificates, SS Cards, etc. She is playing me.

Agree. She also keeps talking about her "therapist" and how she needs to "talk to her therapist"...I honestly think it's whoever she is seeing on the side guiding her, if she is not seeing someone....some other woman that is telling her what to do. As of today, no more emotions, nothing. Just cold hardness. Playing for keeps.

Honestly, I am not even angry or mad. I expected this all to happen since she asked me for the divorce 2 weeks ago. I was hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. I'm going to try to talk to her on Sunday when she gets back from a "spa weekend by herself" to see if we can work this out like adults. I have tried explaining to her that went I am moody or angry, or whatever...it's because of work stresses and financial stresses. Literally she said in a crying tone "oh I'm stressed..I'm stressed...boohoo hubby". She went from being the most awesome person in the world to me, to what she has become. If she is seeing someone on the side....he can have her. She has hurt me to my core and I'm in protect my ass mode right now.

Unfortunately, she has no money at all. Only makes about $1600 a month at her day job. She makes like $32k a year, I make $300k a year...I'm fucked three ways to sunday on this deal. I am never marrying again or getting into a serious relationship. I feel completely lied to and used...and now she's spinning it like I'm the worst person in the world.

I signed us up for couples therapy this coming Friday. If she doesn't show up, then I know it's truly over. I'm already starting to make moves to move this along very quickly after that. If she shows up, then according to my lawyer she is still invested in the marriage and there is a chance we could reconcile.

Let me be clear. I am not scheming and don't plan to. I just don't want to be fucked in this situation so just needed advice on where to start. Thanks for the advice. I have already downloaded the paperwork from my county and have filled it out. I will be filing it first thing Monday morning in the district court to start the ball rolling.
