Heh. If you look past the cutesy facade Lauren Faust was intent on red pilling the fuck out of children (at least while she was still involved, let's see what s4 brings I guess.) At least for now, there's definitely worse shows out there to support. She also did a good job of pissing off rabid feminists and SJWs - enemy of my enemy is my friend, after all.

Keep your assets hidden or at least disguised and build yourself - physically, emotionally, mentally - into the kind of man that she would want to cheat on a doctor with. Without the primal, you have nothing.

Day job: HRIS support - we keep payroll/HR systems running. Started here right out of college and worked myself up the chain. Off time: NL Hold'em player. Big daddy government has put a serious crimp in this but I've been playing since I was in college and it's still not too hard to grind out a decent living on the few sites still offered to US players. Between them I've just crested 100k a year but to be honest most of my money comes from my day job.

Yeah, indians, Philippines, etc. The primary consideration in our case is price; eastern europe never came up as an option. I'm assuming that those countries can demand better pay for their skills.

Because I DO see where we are outsourcing to other countries, even in my company specifically. I supervise them along with the US based workers. And you know what? More often than not the work the overseas workers do is absolutely terrible. There's a few outliers that do good work and I'm proud of them for doing it but by and large they do absolute shit that has to be corrected higher up the chain. They handle the lowest level work decent enough but anything that involves serious critical thinki…

Everyone loves to say this but no one backs it up with evidence. Society is not demarcated neatly into six figure incomes and grinding poverty. There is still a middle class. I graduated with a STEM degree and wound up in it right away. Most of the people I know make between $50 and $100k. What has disappeared is being guaranteed a spot in said middle class after, say, shuffling through a mindless community college degree and bringing no real skills, innovation, or guts to the party. Mindless fo…

In what universe is even $2 million middle class? The median net worth of a 30 year old is something stupid low like 8k. 2 million is a multi-floor home completely paid off, two nice cars, and enough money to live unassisted for years. The middle class sees nothing of this sort. Not even close. It's not a lot of money compared to Mark Zuckerberg but to say it isn't a lot of money compared to the vast majority of Americans is a fallacy. Less than 1 in 100 Americans even have $1 mil (and that's go…

After a certain point, yes, porn is superior to sex. I suppose the threshold after which this occurs will differ from man to man, but IME the only women that should really feel threatened by porn are the ones in prisons of their own device (e.g. fat chicks)

I've always described it thusly: When you are young, your attention and beauty is a sort of large inheritance sitting in a checking account that isn't gaining much (or any) interest. You might feel like you're sitting on top of the world with that much in the bank! The world is your oyster - and for some time, it actually is. And yet, you might realize, that eventually, the cruelty of inflation will outpace your gains in interest and eventually whittle your princely sum down to a pittance. You m…

At birth it's 45:55 women:men but men dying more often in childbirth etc evens it out by around adulthood. It takes a concerted effort to skew the gender ratio past an even keel. See China and its one child policy and female infanticide Also men are much more likely to end up out of the mating pool for whatever reason: mental illness, homelessness, violence, risky behavior that doesn't pan out etc This is of course tempered by the fact that the average/median woman is overweight and not especial…

Because if I'm going to lay my home and half of my life savings on the line and sacrifice my need for variety, I'm sure as fuck not doing it for a 5. LTRs or STRs with quality women > outright paying for quality women > STRs with middling women > MGTOW > commitment to a bossy, overweight woman with a HR career MGTOW has a relevant place in the world if nothing else but to put some of the same pressure on women to improve and maintain themselves that has been put on men since antiquity.

FWIW I made a few grand off Diablo III's RMAH before the economy tanked - and there's stories of the high end players making at least ten grand a year, maybe more, from Youtube videos, streaming ad revenue, RMAH sales, etc. I know this sub has a ton of type A personalities but for those that don't want to spend 16 hours a day on career and self improvement video games are a good way to fill a few hours. Any game with a competitive ladder is good - LoL, Starcraft, WoW [Arena or rated battlegrounds], and I'm assuming DOTA off the top of my head. To really succeed in any of these games competitively, you need to find other skilled players, network, and develop your own skills to climb said ladders. And these relationships matter just as much as they do offline. The concept of "internet friends" vs "real life friends" is an ancient barrier that frankly does not apply anymore. I get to travel a lot,…

From a poker perspective alone - paying $10k to enter a tournament where your opponents are only paying $1k, assuming you are both going for the same prize, makes you a tremendous sucker. I'm honestly amazed any men are paying this to enter. Why would they want to?

Just more evidence that you need to ruthlessly test a woman before committing to her. I'm not going to say "zero tolerance" since that implies a lack of critical thinking, but it needs to be incredibly stringent. if NBA stars aren't safe playing the "nice guy" in relationships fucking no one is. I could afford to live in the big city if I wanted to live beyond my means, save nothing for the future, and could rely on the state or men to bail me out if I lost my job/something catastrophic happened. 20k is far closer to the average income than 80k. 80k is more like top 10%. Not astounding income but honestly once you hit about 80k you start running into diminishing returns per extra k/year.

I did do track (shotput) for two years. It helped, mildly, but felt completely unfulfilling at times. The only thing that it did was teach me how to lift weights, and I didn't really feel the effects until I was well into college anyhow. My best 1RM deadlift is around 380 lb right now, so physicality isn't really a concern now. There were no other people in my situation. I went to a highschool with about 400 students with an incredibly heavy emphasis on athletics. I was about as alone as anyone …

I was a 98 pound weakling in high school - the class omega - and was a very early adopter of online video games that provided a social and competitive outlet, which were altogether completely shut off from me IRL due to a combination of blue pill upbringing, poor parenting, and circumstances often beyond my control (e.g lack of money and my parents walling me off from the world) If it weren't for the social experiences learned through the games I played like EQ (WoW's precursor) - the importance…

Keep in mind, the Onion is satire. It's normal for them to pose situations that should be normal as harrowing and traumatic to bring attention to preconceptions that surround them. They make fun of feminists too. http://www.theonion.com/articles/women-now-empowered-by-everything-a-woman-does,1398/

The Onion is obviously satire - so I'm not really offended at all, just glad they're bringing attention to how a situation like this is perceived. I remember in my more far blue pill days I babysat for a coworker's two kids as a personal favor and had friends that asked me, "You did WHAT?! Are you insane?" It wasn't until after that I realized the danger I had put myself in just by trying to do a good deed.

This is why I live frugally and save hard to the point of being able to live comfortably for years if I lost my job even though I make close to 100k. I don't tell women I date about the savings. If I can't keep her with physicality and game the relationship is a house of cards.

heh.. yeah. It was down about 25% from its peak, so I snapped it up, thought I was getting a deal. market: "nope" I'll have it paid off in about five more years (by the time I'm 35) and then I can either live mortgage free or move out and rent it out. It'll be just fine in a few more years, if all goes well. It just sucks because I'm basically married to it until then. Renting sucks just as bad, though, my friends are paying more for comparably sized places without the tax advantages.

I lived at home to save up enough for the down payment and then bought myself a condo in a fairly ritzy Chicago suburb on $45k/year, back in 2006. If I wanted to compromise on the area it would have been easier. With the housing market in the toilet now it would be even easier now.

So you'd rather spend every waking hour in the endless quest for status above all else? That doesn't exactly sound like freedom to me (which is what TRP is supposed to be about) [edit] To clarify - if you can honestly say that working your ass off for 16 hours a day, every day without a break for a little mindless recreation is what you truly want to do - if that's what truly energizes you and gives you a lust for life - then great. Agreed. I would even posit that certain video games teach critical thinking skills that are very difficult to learn in practice in other places, but that's probably a conversation for another thread. I'm much in the same boat - I've got a career I'm very happy and comfortable with. I own my own place. I've got plenty in the bank. I certainly can't deny that playing video games for 18 hours a day for weeks on end is ruinous to one's life, but I just don't care to work for eight hours, hit the gym…

What is the difference between playing a pickup game of soccer with people you know versus playing organized league gaming (WoW arena, Starcraft, League of Legends, etc) with those same friends? I've done both eSports and pickup sports and in terms of team bonding they share more than you seem to let on. Other than one being more physically focused and one being more mentally focused I'm curious as to what you think the difference is in terms of competition, bonding with teammates, etc.

I've known this for awhile. I have a classical 'beta' face that I hate. You don't think that's a little overly black and white? You're neatly dividing these two groups into fabrications based on what your perception is of how people behave in those age groups. There are tons of shredded, adventurous mid 30 men and tons of slovenly, nebbish 21 year olds.

The depressing part? I've seen what my classmates from high school ended up marrying. They were average, even above average men in looks, social stature, and income with advanced degrees. They were firmly blue pilled, though not necessarily by choice; I was only unplugging at the time this was happening and by the time I was fully aware I was no longer in a position to help them. There is a serious disconnect between these four points: 1.) What women risk for marriage 2.) How women are rewarded in marriage 3.) What men risk for marriage 4.) How men are rewarded in marriage Even in a completely fair world with no alimony, no no fault divorce, and no egregious child support, and all other things being equal, women are STILL the primary beneficiaries of marriage (given that their sexual imperative is fulfilled and mens' are suppressed.) Are you sure 28 is the physical peak? Look at the Masters' weight lifting records by age. The decline doesn't happen until the 50-54 group, and in fact strength increases every age group until 45-49. http://www.mastersweightlifting.org/records/usa-men.pdf I don't doubt that there's a decline in some other areas - skin tone, or whatever, but the testosterone doesn't start to taper off till then, and that is pretty much the most important factor.
