Move to New York City. This recommendation wasn’t really discussed above, but the dating market here favors men to a ridiculous degree. I’m sure that I would not have been as successful in another metro area. I actually think this isn't really true. NYC has lots of high value men. So women have high standards due to that. Women are more likely to stay close to home, I'd actually argue that "2nd tier" cities like Indianapolis, Denver, etc, are easier than NYC, because the high value men move to b…

I'd say yes but it doesn't compensate for poor social skills or not having balls. Regardless of how you look, you need social skills and balls to get laid. I'm kind of in the same boat. I'm 6'2" and 160lbs, not much muscle. While I think it would increase my success rate, I don't think it would actually do much on its own to attract women. I can say that I've gotten all of my lays while being skinnyfat or skinny, so it's definitely not the primary factor unless you're severely overweight.

This. I know exactly one guy who I would call a "PUA" who isn't a con-artist. Most so-called PUAs seem to end up with average looking girls and don't really know shit. And the guy I know, he doesn't sell any courses or even coaching/bootcamps, purely just a blog where he talks about his experiences with game.

Hinge is a lot better. I got about 300 matches on hinge in 3 months of using it. I'd say I'm slightly above average in looks but I'm definitely not super hot. Granted, maybe 1 in 60 matches actually goes on a date, so it's a big numbers game. If you're an average guy then you should be looksmaxxing and improving your photos before using online dating. Girls on online dating have a lot of options. If you want to succeed, you need to make yourself at least above average looking. Hit the gym, impro…

I got dates/laid with better looking girls in 2019/2020 than I do now, and I looked worse back then and had worse pictures. It's definitely gotten more difficult. I had to up my pictures and looks just to get the same results.

tight fitting clothes at the gym? Are your female friends looking for hookups or a relationship? Because that's less likely to be a turnoff to girls who want a hookup.

No. I'm calling you an incel because your comment is misogynistic and wrong. Name checks out.

This post is talking about relationships. I'm not denying that being hot makes it easier to get laid. I never said looks don't matter. You sound like an incel.
/r/seduction05/01/22 12:11 AM

She might have more initial interest in the hot guy, and not any interest in the ugly guy, but ultimately it doesn't matter how hot he is. If he doesn't have social skills the relationship isn't going to be a lasting and fulfilling one.

I feel like instagram DMs in general are an ineffective way to get girls, unless you have high social status.
/r/seduction04/01/22 10:49 PM

Gyms are fine. I wouldn't do it in the workplace though, because that would be entangling your professional and personal lives.

Surprisingly, at that type of escalation I usually have less fear. I do need to read up on IOIs though.
/r/seduction04/01/22 08:10 PM

Easy to say once you've overcome the fear. I bet you're right, but to this day, I've only made a move on one girl in person, and that took every ounce of courage I had. I'm working on it though. It's not that rejection itself is so bad. It's the fear of rejection that's bad.

I never said it wasn't important or that it didn't help. But if you don't have social skills, it doesn't matter if you're a billionaire. You're only going to attract women who want your resources and not you.
/r/seduction04/01/22 07:19 PM

That's exactly why I wouldn't date a woman who couldn't make her own money. On the flip side, I'm willing to help clean and cook.
/r/seduction04/01/22 03:28 PM

I think the key is to be confident about your interests. Like with many things, women are not necessarily turned off by an attribute in itself, but are turned off by being insecure about said attribute.
/r/seduction04/01/22 05:37 AM

If you're cold approaching, getting rejected a lot is very normal. That's the main reason that many guys (including myself) are terrified to do it.
/r/seduction04/01/22 01:08 AM

It works on girls with non existent self esteem. Otherwise it's probably gonna backfire
/r/seduction03/01/22 07:39 PM

I'd say don't count on it happening. If you want more girls then you should be approaching. But I get how scary that is so I understand, I'm not really there yet myself
/r/seduction03/01/22 06:25 PM

How about just don't neg period? It's manipulative and often backfires anyways.

I got approached by a stranger the other week and it actually ended in a date. I was out taking pictures with my camera, I caught her making eye contact with me a few times, and she started a conversation about that. So having some sort of topic to start a conversation with really helps. And I still had to ask for her number or snapchat. A few observations: - Women will rarely approach you unless you are very good-looking (Not me, FYI). Don't count on it happening often. - Women are usually stil…

Yeah some of those guys think that they can compensate for a boring personality with something superficial like money. That might get them a gold digger but it won't get them a fulfilling relationship. How wealthy are we talking, btw? Like, multimillionaires?

I live near a place with lots of COVID cases and I've managed to get dates recently. Unless everything is locked down where you live, you have no excuse.

This would be true if he was actually going out and socializing with women. It doesn't sound like he is.
/r/seduction03/01/22 08:14 AM
28

You have to go out and actually meet women somehow. Dating apps, cold approach, meetups, etc. Some men think that looks and money are all you need to get a girlfriend. While having those things certainly helps a lot, if you don't have basic social skills, you will not get a loving girlfriend, it doesn't matter how rich you are. If you don't socialize with women, you will not get a girlfriend. Period.

That's what I plan to do with these two online dates. Just gonna meet and vibe. If things are going well, I'll escalate. From there, I can determine whether she is interested or not.
/r/seduction03/01/22 07:36 AM

I mean, I don't want to tell her I want a relationship if that's not what I really want.
/r/seduction03/01/22 07:25 AM

I mean, have you tried flirting, physical escalation, etc? Or do you just act like a friend? You have to show intention.
/r/seduction03/01/22 07:19 AM

Wait, so are you asexual? Or do you just act like you don't have much sexuality when you're around women?
/r/seduction03/01/22 07:16 AM

What do you mean when you say that you're asexual when dealing with women? Like, you act too much like a friend? If so, that's a weird fucking way to word it lmao

Not always. I had sex with a girl on the 2nd meet who literally wrote in her bio "I will not hookup with you", in all caps. My last hookup was the only one that was actually like that.
/r/seduction03/01/22 07:09 AM
1

Eh, I mean, I don't mind waiting a date or two before sex. If she isn't receptive to my escalation I'll just cut things off I did fuck a girl who said adamantly said no hookups in her bio, so I think it's definitely possible

/r/seduction03/01/22 06:41 AM

Okay, point taken. My main question was asking about things like flirting and physical escalation though, not trying to decipher her thoughts.
/r/seduction03/01/22 06:19 AM

Doesn't answer my main question
/r/seduction03/01/22 06:06 AM

You don't even know her. You know an image of her cultivated by your mind, based on the messages. Skype doesn't count. Especially when you don't even seem to have video called.

1

Sounds unstable. I'd avoid
/r/seduction03/01/22 05:27 AM

Had a very similar question. I think it's fine if you're looking for a relationship. In my case I want hookups so it's different
/r/seduction03/01/22 05:06 AM

Yeah, being average sucks nowadays. All I can really say is, work on yourself and try to become as good-looking as possible. I must admit, it's pretty funny when I go on a sub like /r/dating_advice and you hear about women who claim they can't find any guys who don't want hookups. There are plenty of mediocre men who don't want hookups. They just don't want to date mediocre men. That being said, this post gives me strong incel vibes, and seems to be shirking responsibility somewhat. Women are sh…

its not just And most of those girls end up getting played anyways because the guy just wants a quick fuck and guys with that many options wouldn't think twice about discarding her. It's crazy to think that some fat mediocre girl, is dating rich, handsome chads. If those guys give her time of day, its for sex and nothing more.

Happened to me when I lost my virginity. Should become a non issue with more experience
/r/seduction03/01/22 04:20 AM

thats probably attributable to online dating and social media. its not just women becoming more shallow, its the fact that social media has reduced the need to socialize in-person, and apps are shallow
/r/seduction03/01/22 03:44 AM

Idiotic statement. But i could always argue that because love and rage tend to be processed in similar parts of the brain, you'd see some level of aggression in sex or any other context. Never found a puppy so lovable you just want to squeeze it hard? I thought it was the testosterone that causes the aggression?

Even this seems over the top for RP. I'd bet this came from that incels forum site (not gonna put the link)
/r/ExRedPill21/07/21 01:45 AM
6

Okay dude I get where you are coming from. I had a lot of the same beliefs. Dating is very frustrating for most people, honestly, regardless of your life circumstances. The first mistake is you're falling into the classic RP mentality of generalizing all women. Women seriously claim to want equality but they don’t wanna put in equal effort for anything. The guy is the one who has to make the first move, most likely pay initially, be funny & exciting, convince her he’s different from other guys, …

Yeah I agree with what you're saying. That's why I say my criticisms are far more nuanced and specific. They just make black and white generalizations. They take the batshit crazy SJW Twitter minority and paint all women to be that way. Thanks for the article, will check it out!
/r/ExRedPill20/07/21 11:56 PM

I think the problem is I really do agree with some of the criticisms of feminism, but my views are much more nuanced. The key I think is I just need to stay away. Their extreme views will just give me very strong confirmation bias. Thing is though, I'm a liberal, and those guys are all alt righters. I've always been politically left for the most part, clearly they're not being rational, but I can't help but feel under all the rhetoric, that certain criticisms, from a less extreme perspective, ar…

Actually, in some cases, I've seen instances of mid 20s girls with 30s men. Not crazy uncommon. Yeah they're more likely to be with a guy closer to their age. I guess it depends how close to 25 you're talking about.

Honestly I'm 21 and I'm tired of 20 year olds too. I almost feel like I get along better with older women

Except a lot of these ideologies are just rooted in misogyny. That's just the truth. They're no better than the landwhales over at FDS. And I refuse to stoop to that level. Thing is, I've gotten laid before. I'm just pessimistic in general. How does this really help you? Doesn't this just make you feel bitter and resentful?
/r/ExRedPill19/07/21 07:19 PM
1

what do you actually mean by black pill? because i was under the impression that black pill is just the incel mindset. "oh, you're not a 9/10, its over, women are shallow" But even I know, that's just them projecting their own failures onto women. Because if they went outside for once, they would see that not only 9/10s are in relationships.
/r/ExRedPill19/07/21 06:49 PM

I would be lying if I said I never got a laugh out of some of the stuff I saw on FDS. But I don't want such a toxic place to ruin my view of humans so I pretty much never visit there. This basically sums up my view of TRP and subs like /r/whereareallthegoodmen. It's funny at times, but always at someone else's expense, and toxic. So I avoid it as much as possible. I actually haven't visited it much recently at all. I never visited much at all. I just felt this sub would be good because it is a r…

That really wasn't my original intention. You don't have to believe me, but I am telling you now what I actually believe. You can check my other comments, this viewpoint is consistent.

Well yeah being shitty is not a gendered thing, a sociopath is a sociopath regardless of whether they're a man or a woman. What you're saying doesn't really help me though, because I'm not denying that certain men might act in a similar way. I'm looking for any sort of evidence which directly contradicts what I'm saying (although I get that might not be possible)
/r/ExRedPill19/07/21 06:18 PM
2

You're right man. It's the misogyny. It's given me such a strong us vs them mentality. I almost feel like women aren't people to date at this point, but they feel like an enemy. Not that I actually feel resentful towards women, but it almost feels like a war deep down, if that makes sense. It's just annoying how suggestible I am when I consume that type of shit. All it takes is one comment about feminists being hypocrites in one of those communities, and then I'll launch back into us vs them men…

30 is just a clean cutoff number. But according to your chart, 28 is the median age for women in 2020, which means getting married in your 30s is not uncommon at all? There were also people who got married at like 23. This also doesn't take into account people who had previous marriages. I find it hard to believe that what I'm saying doesn't hold any truth. Surely there have to be women who settle for guys they are not happy with, because they want kids, or because all their friends are getting …

I am somewhat physically attractive. Attractive enough to have had casual sex a few times. But no, blackpill is even worse. I came to this sub to be better, not get into an even more toxic ideology.
/r/ExRedPill19/07/21 05:46 PM
2

Ugh don't remind me of that sub. It's satisfying to look at when I'm feeling resentful but ultimately it's really toxic. All those bitter ass men just spewing absolute vitriol at those women. Yeah, their standards are ridiculous usually, but I've seen a few posts where the girl wasn't even being that unreasonable, she was just ugly. Yet so much vitriol. Still, your value as a human being and your value in terms of dating are not equivalent.
/r/ExRedPill19/07/21 05:43 PM

Yeah, settling definitely happens. Insecurity definitely drives a lot of it though. They are right, I am very insecure. But at the same time I am hyper aware. If a girl didn't want to fuck me, show me to her friends, etc, I would be very suspicious, and probably aware of it very quickly. This fear will ensure that at the first sign that things aren't right, she's a goner. Also I can't lie, with most of these commenters being women, I am skeptical. I tend to not trust dating advice from women, be…

Yeah, I try to have casual sex and stuff when I can. It happens seldom, but it's nice when it does.

Wow that's a really good comment. Yeah I know insecurity is one of the root issues here. I can't help but feel like I'll be cheated on at some point :(
/r/ExRedPill19/07/21 05:12 PM
1

I realized I don't really need to worry about a girl not liking me for looks. I have a high sex drive, so things will be very obvious if she feels that way. I'd probably end a relationship over a mismatched libido anyways.
/r/ExRedPill19/07/21 05:04 PM

Yeah my statement wasn't gendered. Can happen on both sides.
/r/ExRedPill19/07/21 05:03 PM

Honestly, that's not too far off. I don't use stupid terms like "cock carousel" but the general premise isn't fully wrong when you analyze online dating apps. Like 80% of women swipe on 20% of men. Most of the women engaging in casual sex are doing so with the same pool of men. And these hot dudes who are such studs all the hot women want to fuck them are just constantly fucking the average and below average looking women too? Actually, yes. Those guys view the less attractive women as "easier",…
/r/ExRedPill19/07/21 04:58 PM

Yeah, I guess it does happen. But there's definitely cases where they leave them for somebody else
/r/ExRedPill19/07/21 04:55 PM
2

Yes. I think the RP idea of a dual mating strategy is complete bullshit. Women are not some monolith looking to commit paternity fraud en masse, lmao. I don't have enough dating experience to really say this is true either. But anecdotal evidence makes it feel this way. Kinda was looking for just concrete facts to debunk it
/r/ExRedPill19/07/21 04:52 PM
3

So it boils down to you being insecure/depressed about yourself. I'm not shaming you for that, but honestly that's what redpill guys boil down to. Underneath all their "science" and "logic" is just insecurity. I trust your view because you say FDS is bullshit. I don't see how FDS is not toxic but RP is. It feels like misandry is astronomically more acceptable than misogyny. It seems like, if a guy suggests RP, he's a misogynist. But if a girl tells another girl to go on FDS, it seems like she's …

I'm sure it is, that's why I say they probably wouldn't have sex often in that type of relationship. On the bright side, thank you for affirming that every girl I slept with didn't pity fuck me.
/r/ExRedPill19/07/21 04:44 PM
2

By AFBB are you referring to my nuanced take, or the dual mating strategy that is spouted on red pill forums? This isn't normal. Honestly, you deserve to be someone's first choice not settled on. Well I know I'll never be anybody's first choice, and vice versa with her. Nobody is. All I can hope, is that she is not unsatisfied with me.
/r/ExRedPill19/07/21 04:29 PM
1

Honestly, I'm being a little silly. Not to brag, but I'm generally actually pretty good at that. Like, I just have this sense of picking up on when things are not right. I've picked out plenty of toxic people this way before. So yeah, I suppose since I know I'm desirable enough from a physical standpoint, I should probably just stop thinking this way
/r/ExRedPill19/07/21 04:24 PM
2

Why is it being settled for? It isn't in all scenarios. Only if the girl doesn't desire you very much. Even with all of that, you can find someone with all of those qualities in a constellation that meets your needs. People are out there finding it every day. Why isn't that possible? Are they though? Don't all couples make some compromises? You can fill 80% of the boxes, sure, but 100%? I'm skeptical. Why are the choices "hot or rich" like those are the fault lines between two warring tribes of …
/r/ExRedPill19/07/21 04:21 PM
2

It depends on their motive. I think when I say that, it implies as if they don't feel any different now in terms of attraction, they just are more willing to give him a chance. If they actually like the guy now, but wouldn't have given him a second look back then, then I would not call that settling.
/r/ExRedPill19/07/21 04:14 PM
2

That's a good point. I didn't think of it that way, some women definitely have that sort of nurturing inclination
/r/ExRedPill19/07/21 04:13 PM
2

Yeah, didn't think you were implying 50% either. But if it was going to carry any relevance to my argument, it would have to be a non-negligible portion of the population. That's actually an interesting point. Having kids is far more physically demanding as a woman. I didn't think of it this way, because I assumed most women who are childfree, are childfree because they don't like kids or don't want to deal with the financial or emotional hassle. Why would you assume a woman who slept with dudes…

Women are more likely to look for casual sex and "hot" partners. Men are also more likely to look for casual sex and "hot" partners. Sure. But most men can't get casual sex easily. And if he does, it's probably not going to be with a super hot girl, because they have tons of options when it comes to sex. In fact, that's probably one of the only things that makes me feel not like a "beta". The fact that I've been able to have casual sex (albeit infrequently) makes me think women would value me fo…

Why aren't people allowed to recalibrate what they want in a relationship based on where they are in their life? Why is that immoral? It's not immoral. Even throughout all my bitterness and cynicism, I've acknowledged and respected women's rights to have high standards in dating. My main concern is protecting myself, I don't want to end up in an unhappy relationship because somebody else was desperate. So, I think you're right that a lot of people wouldn't have looked twice at their spouse years…

I guess it really depends how the woman feels. In my mind when I think of "settling", I don't think of her desires just changing, I think of her getting with a guy she finds physically unattractive, that she will fuck a few times a month to keep happy, but doesn't actually want much to do with. You're definitely right about the peer influence playing a big role. I think that's the reason why a lot of guys have a huge gap between what they will date vs fuck, I think it's not as big as most people…

Not every woman has or wants kids, so this kills half the argument right off the bat. Do you have any evidence that this is more than a minority of the population? I remember reading on some dating subs about how childfree men are an extreme minority, I imagine it would be similar for women. There were women saying they can't find childfree men. I think it boils down to this: who gives a fuck who younger women sleep with? It's 2021 already. I don't. But I don't want to be settled for and feel us…

Everyone wants stability as they get older, male or female. In reality this just translates to wanting a spouse who has a steady career and ambitions so they can pull their own weight. It has nothing to do with redpill BS. Women want stability for a relationship, that is what I am saying. You seem to think that I'm calling all women gold diggers. My point is that, often times it seems women have to choose between sexual desirability and financial/emotional stability in a relationship. As for t…

The post content isn't there because the post was removed. But, they're saying they won't date women over 25? The thing is, with TRP, like with all cults, there is no diversity of thought. We see this on the other cult-like subs. If you don't agree with their general principles, you will be booted. The main thing that turns me off is just how misogynistic they are. Also bro I can so relate to "being a validation slave to mediocre women" so fucking accurate. Online dating gives young women too much power. I wouldn't ditch it completely but keep it on the back burner. The problem is that we're programmed to see almost anything uncomfortable as a threat. Hence the AA. I don't think it's that you're afraid of rejection. It's the tension and potential awkwardness we don't like. And the fact that the situation is very unpredictable. Like, the feeling of sitting there in an awkward silence, things like that. I was just on my lunch break and I saw a cute girl in the sandwich shop. It's small so I couldn't tell if she was waiting in line, so I asked her, but I should've found a reason to continue things after I ordered, lol. If anybody reading this knows what I sho…

Most girls are libfems. Putting that in their bio deters conservative men from pursuing them. I put it in my bio because I don't want to date an anti vaxxer and it takes away covid concerns for her.

Good point. I think you're right. Because in a situation where starting a conversation seems not forced and actually relevant to the situation, I don't feel the same type of anxiety. Tbh, I'm going to practice small talk with service workers a little more, and potentially with girls in line too. Like, the thing is, I feel like there aren't many opportunities to approach if I wait for a situation like that. I live in a huge city, but my neighborhood doesn't have a lot of girls my age. Also, in a …

Not necessarily true for me. The info I typically give out my tinder matches doesn't even have my full name. But that's because I'm somewhat anal about privacy. You do bring a good point, it wouldn't be hard to independently do it for most people as they already use social media and put their info out there. My problem isn't that they can access the info, rather that I don't want to give out my SSN to a dating app because I only give out that information to banks, employers or on tax forms. Also…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/21 01:33 PM

Yeah this 100%. I don't feel comfortable giving my SSN to tinder
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/21 01:15 PM

Logically who would question this valuable option other than loser dudes. People concerned about privacy? Honestly, maybe I don't want to give my SSN to tinder, I don't have a record, so I have nothing to hide, but that's more information than I'm comfortable with giving to a dating app. SSN can be used for identity theft, and with all the data breaches companies have it seems like an unnecessary risk to take. Either way I don't think this is going to achieve their intended goal.

The only thing is it might drive away a lot of men from the app and attract more women, because abusive guys want to stay anonymous, and women will feel safer, but I feel like it wouldn't work that way in practice. Also not all abusers have broken the law. It'll only really help with people convicted of crimes. I have nothing to hide but this feels way too invasive to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/21 05:10 AM
1

Yup I can see this being a huge hurdle. In order to conduct a background check you would need very sensitive info, like an SSN, as you mentioned. Names aren't always sufficient as there can be multiple people with the same name.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/21 05:08 AM

meh im not looking to attract a gold digger but if it'll make me more attractive then more money = good :D, plus just more disposable income in general. I live in an area with high cost of living so probably not that impressive but assuming I can land a decent job I will probably be making at least 70k at 23 or 24.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/21 04:32 AM

yeah, corona does suck. Luckily I've got a few more years till graduation so hopefully the economy recovers by then, so that I can get a decent paying job. Is 80k considered a lot in a dating context? Talking before taxes.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/21 03:58 AM

that is true, although tbh my confidence has been kinda destroyed by the shitty job market rn, finding an internship is hard. But yeah I should be able to eventually get a pretty well paying job. Not tryna attract a gold digger tho

You seem to be basing your hatred on a few bad men. There are women that do horrible things to men as well. Would it be fair for me to say all women are bad because Jodi Arias stabbed her boyfriend to death? Being smart in terms of school work doesn't necessarily translate to being interesting. It's more about your charisma and the way you carry yourself that makes you pleasant to be around. An intelligent, well-spoken manner of speech certainly helps, but being good at math or science or whatever will not make less intelligent women think you're interesting.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/21 04:08 AM

well I think it applies to both genders because nobody is going to happily date a person they find unattractive. I only framed it in that way because of the perspective the question was asked. Yes this OMG. I've matched with girls who have a BMI of like 45 or 50. And I'm fucking 21. I can't imagine what they're going to look like when they're 30 or 40. I'm not the most in shape person on the planet, but god damn, how does one get to be that overweight.

This was probably said already but I don't care, fuck it. That being said I did read this one post with lots of studies on women liking bad boys, I'd have to see if the aforementioned is why they got the results, or if there is some genuine link.

Yup this is honestly why I get pissed off when obese girls match with me. I shouldn't but I'm tall, white and blue eyed. I can't help but think they wouldn't want a 400lbs neckbeard who drinks mountain dew (their looksmatch). I would be surprised if I was wrong about this
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/21 10:37 PM

The first part sounds like me, I'm in STEM with probably above average looks but not amazing socially. I can hold a conversation but I'm very shy when it comes to asking women out. /r/PurplePillDebate14/03/21 04:03 PM
2

Dating advice is not something you can typically solicit. It needs to be personalized. I think the best thing to do is analyze your own experiences and learn that way. Obviously gender matters, and neither gender can understand the other's struggles. Women have the problem of being solicited for too much casual sex, men have the problem of having no options/very low quality options.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/21 02:57 PM

meh okay I guess not most, but obese, ugly, whatever word you want to use, 10/10 guys are dating hot girls, not ugly women.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/21 02:50 PM

I'm not sure that really changes my argument, I still don't think 10/10 guys are dating ugly STEM girls.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/21 02:47 PM

He might have a better chance of getting along with the girl, but if he's really unattractive then it doesn't matter. Intelligence only matters to women if you're attractive enough to meet the minimum looks threshold. In other words, non-physical qualities don't matter until you meet a woman's minimum physical standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/21 02:44 PM

Lol no you won't. Intelligent women get their picking of men since they are very rare in STEM fields. You'll have close to 100% of the other men in your field lusting after you because you share common interests. I see plenty of unattractive stemladys with 8-10/10s. Also most amateur porn is revenge porn That is completely untrue. It's called exhibitionism, its a kink. Or they're doing it as a form of sex work to make money. Very rarely is it actually revenge porn. You're thinking about when a guy is pissed off at his ex and he sends her nudes to her family or something. Also re to your other comment, not every girl is in pain or suffering in the porn video. My point is just that it has happened before. Some women genuinely enjoy doing porn.

Shouldnt it be about pleasuring both people??? No. The porn industry, like any other business, is about appealing to their audience. That's mostly men. They will show the woman in the most aesthetically pleasing positions, that doesn't mean it is the most comfortable for her or that she is enjoying it. As long as its aesthetically pleasing for men to jerk off to. I've heard stories of abuse in the porn industry. It depends. I often watch amateur videos where its just couples uploading videos of …

/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 08:17 PM

feminist as in a radical SJW, yes. I think most women want equal rights for men and women, but from a woman's perspective, is that not what the definition of feminism is? I get that its become more radical and doesn't always mean that anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 07:22 PM

No, it's not. Or if it is, it's evil - intentional causing of unnecessary harm. There's resources behind it. Most women are not man hating evil monsters.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 07:12 PM

I said when it comes to certain things because there are certain aspects of life where men and women may not be equal. I think feminism ignores a lot of the struggles men face, but its understandable in a way, just like how men can't fully understand what its like to go through a woman's struggles, they can't imagine our struggles either. And people tend to focus on problems that directly affect them. Due to just human selfishness.

I feel FDS is pretty similar to TRP. They're beneficial in terms of some of the lessons it teaches, but ultimately it's toxic and hateful. That's at least what I've observed. It seems like every other post on FDS is about how every single man is a violent rapist abuser, and how if a guy doesn't take you to dinner but offers drinks instead, he's cheap and not worth your time. Like there is no way that isn't a hateful and toxic way to think.

FDS is like the female equivalent of TRP.

Feminism imo can be good or bad depending on the degree of it. Feminism to the point of trying to be egalitarian when it comes to certain things is okay in my eyes. Radical feminism which is about getting revenge on men and putting down men, is not good.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 05:46 PM

Meh there's a bit of overlap but I see what you're saying. Women can't be incels. Because any woman could have sex if she really tried. They can be involuntarily single, as in not being able to find a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 05:42 PM
11

Meh she uses FDS, which is basically the female equivalent of TRP. Neither of them is good for mental health if you're trying to date. They're both about denigrating and putting down the opposite sex. It just creates misogynists and misandrists. It's all about saying "all men are trash" or "women are objects for our sexual pleasure", depending on which side you go on it. Pick your poison.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 05:37 PM

Honestly, from my experience, you shouldn't trust so much what girls say, more what they do. I've had numerous times where girls said one thing and their actions said otherwise. I think you have a different definition of respect. I don't mean respect as in like respect for a role model who has accomplished a lot. I'm talking about like basic human decency.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 05:36 PM

Nope, but women don't typically approach ugly men, however not every guy that women will go for is a "chad".
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 05:27 PM

Not true, the events I do go to, are because I like the activities. In other words, take the girls out of the equation, and I would still want to be there. I would never go to an event just to meet girls, there likely won't be girls at the event anyways. I told you, girls dont exist around here, I don't go to events with girls (many things I've liked to do are mostly male dominated, although sometimes there are girls). Lmao. My pessimism doesn't come from nowhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 04:13 PM

Yes I am capable of going to events. The only thing is I've heard that some events on say meetup literally tell men to not ask out girls lol. Although I suppose you can meet other men and then meet their social circles. Idk for some reason I just have a very easy time picturing myself single at an old age lol. Meh, a job and money are nice, but like, most hobby groups are probably male dominated or full of married women. I have a diverse set of activities that I like, and they're not all traditionally male dominated, but meh single girls really don't exist, except maybe singles events, but those are probably dating app quality bad women. I wish I wasn't so socially retarded and living in a world of OLD. I've been kinda feeling like shit when I read the other thread, irs clear that superficial standard…

Online dating really fucks up your mentality. Because this is not how it works on online dating. But when you meet a good person IRL, non physical traits become way less important. This thread alone has made me realize that there are plenty of relationships where women are not being "hypergamous" as TRP suggests.

yeah she claimed to be "loving every pound", you're not going to be loving every pound when you're dying from heart disease and diabetes at the age of 40

No I absolutely don't think that way. When I do get focused on a girl I typically don't want anybody else tbh. I just wouldn't want to settle for a girl I'm unattracted to if I could get one I am attracted to. It's not about comparing it to past encounters.
/r/ExRedPill13/03/21 06:28 AM

No, a Dad bod is NOT as attractive as a normal weight/ lean Male. Not sure if you were referencing my comment, but that's not what I meant, what I was saying was that men get away with having extra weight better than women do because of dad bods, obviously a fit muscular lean male is going to be more attractive. While women get away with being too skinny more easily.

i once saw a girl on bumble who claimed to be 340lbs lmao.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 06:23 AM

Okay, I see what you're saying. Don't get me wrong I'm not only focused on looks. Non-physical attributes are really important to me as well. Its just that I need her to be somewhat attractive to me or I feel I will not enjoy the relationship. It wouldn't be fair to her either.
/r/ExRedPill13/03/21 06:16 AM

I'm saying if I were to have kids with a tall girl, and we had a daughter, then she would be tall, and have less options for dating. On the flip side, if I had a son, he'd probably be even taller than me. I'm totally fine with a 5'7" girl for dating though. That still feels pretty short to me lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 06:00 AM

As if I'm guaranteed to have a son? Being a tall girl is not ideal. Being tall is ideal as a guy. You can't have it both ways.

Well my point is that I find them unattractive. It's not like I find them attractive but think I can get a better girl. I only brought my own attractiveness into it, because if I was really ugly, then I probably wouldn't be able to have sex or get with a girl I was attracted to.
/r/ExRedPill13/03/21 05:47 AM
1

Nah it's okay man don't worry haha. I would've preferred if you used the Enter key a few more times though. Makes it easier to read. I agree online dating has fucked things over. It dehumanizes people. It reduces them to objects in a shopping catalog. Treats people as discardable, replaceable, not human, its quite messed up tbh. It has destroyed a lot of people's standards, and I think it's reducing a lot of in person interactions.

I mean I've had sex with women far more attractive than most of the ones I matched with. If she gave me casual sex I figured I have to be at least average to slightly above. So I don't think I'm on the same attractiveness of the obese women. I'm not saying that they have any less value as a human being, just that we are not on a similar level of physical attractiveness. But yeah you're right, I agree with the rest.

Lmao it's not too bad. Give it a try, if it doesn't work, there's other options lol. Also speaking of psychedelics they are investigating it as a depression treatment, my doctor personally performed some studies on psychedelics for mental health disorders, like alcoholism. SNRIs are pretty similar. My doctor said duloxetine (also an SNRI), gives you less sexual problems. And yeah I smoke weed pretty frequently. I plan to quit eventually, I don't really get withdrawals in a physical sense but I can get emotionally uncomfortable without it. /r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 03:54 AM
1

No. I didn't feel withdrawals. I was on 10mg lexapro for about a year then the doctor weaned me off, I dropped down to 5mg for a week, I believe I had a few brain zaps and some minor withdrawals, nothing too serious though. They can be helpful medications but they have lots of unpleasant side effects. I'm a regular cannabis smoker so that probably fucks with my mood also.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 03:52 AM

It can mess with libido. Honestly since stopping them my mood has severely worsened, there are probably other factors at play though. From my experience it reduces penile sensitivity and makes it harder to finish, I'm unsure if the latter applies to females.

I mean ngl before I started having sex I initially thought that I'd finish too fast, the opposite happened. Had extreme performance anxiety (was also on antidepressants) and couldn't finish. And that's actually not true for all guys, some can keep going and a few minutes later they can finish again. I definitely cannot do that. Oh I see what you're saying, you're saying women don't want equal. Well, science has suggested that most people marry someone of a similar attractiveness. It is true however that women tend to marry up in terms of income, despite the increase in education, also backed by science. /r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 12:43 AM

It's real, "spark" and "vibe" are just used to describe feelings you have but can't describe. Because many people don't always realize what specifically they don't like about that person, rather the vibe just seems "off". But there is a reason deep down, they are just not consciously aware of it. Applies to both genders.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 12:42 AM

They're not that fun. I'd rather have a genuine relationship. And I'm saying that from a male perspective. Maybe I'm just inexperienced but a lot of my casual experiences (all the way to sex or not) were awkward and boring. It's just easier to find mutual physical attraction versus a partner you truly connect well with.

i mean i slept with a girl with an N count around 20 but she let me have it on the 2nd time I had ever seen her. My N count is 2. So I'm not really a slut. Apparently it seems more favorable to women to keep it low. At one point I kinda wanted as high of a number I could get, but now I'm kinda seeing thats stupid. 1 good sexual encounter is better than 50 shitty ones.

Feminism to me isn't a red flag, the type of radical feminist who will spend hours bitching on twitter about how all men are trash, is a no-go however. Although I suppose you could say the latter is actually a misandrist rather than a feminist Party girls can be a no-go depending on the girl. You're right, but its honestly rare that they show enough interest in me that I'd even be slightly comfortable doing that. Because most of the time there is visible evidence that she is just acting as I described (seeing her treat other people the same, or showing more interest towards other people). It seems to bother you so much that obese or ugly girls showed interest to you. Rather the fact that they showed interest and I have this feeling that they wouldn't be okay with a guy who is obese like them. Plus, when I say obese, I'm not talking a little bit chubby. bold of you to assume women's standards follow any rational logic. In the 1960s and 70s women would actually date their looksmatch. Now with OLD the fat chick thinks she's entitled to chad, even though he views her as nothing more than an object to ejaculate onto.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/21 03:55 PM

Yes. The more you name call someone "sexist", "racist", "misogynist", or whatever term you want to use, the less you're doing to actually help the cause you're supporting. If your goal is to change someone's mind then you should try explaining to them the flaws in their viewpoint using facts and logic. Ad hominem only makes the person feel like they're being attacked, and they're more likely to see their viewpoint as one with even more credibility now, because they couldn't come up with any othe…

Same issue with girls tbh. 90% of them on tinder, their only hobbies are "travelling" and "watching netflix". And so many who clearly just eat junk food 24/7
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/21 03:30 PM

by unattractive, are you talking about like 5/10, or like 2.5/10? Because at a certain point if you're ugly she will likely not want you regardless of any external circumstances.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/21 03:28 PM
0

Meh I wouldn't go to the lengths of defining ugly people as subhuman, that's a little extreme. And yeah, by "ugly", you mean average or like 5/10. That's definitely the case. I've heard though, are those average guys really with hot girls? or are those average guys with average girls? because I think what a lot of men deem attractive is technically "average" on the spectrum as a whole. Especially given how many women men find attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/21 03:25 PM

But if he suggests she gives his friend a bj, and she agrees, she consented and its fine. that's a big if, what, do you think women just obey chad? If she doesn't want to fuck the guy, she likely wont
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/21 03:23 PM
4

The 3/10 is going to have trouble getting laid regardless. But yeah social skills can go a long way in certain situations. Still, hookups are mostly about looks and everything else is for the most part irrelevant.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/21 03:19 PM
26

Ehhh, I disagree. "Chad" does not control the consent of the woman. If you're ugly, she's not going to fuck you, it doesn't matter if chad "passed you some". By befriending lots of women you have the social proof. It still will be hard for that guy to get laid due to his looks but it'll be easier.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/21 03:11 PM
1

i dont remember his age, maybe mid 20s if I had to guess. I usually kiss by the 2nd date, there is no reason to wait 8 dates lol. If he had just played his cards right he could've gotten laid in half the amount of dates probably
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/21 03:08 PM

Yup I don't really like them facewise, and a lot of them are built like a square body wise. So that's why I'm not attracted to most asians
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/21 03:06 PM
3

I don't. I'm white and I don't find asian women attractive. The only exception is if she's part asian. Almost all full asians are not attractive to me. It's easy for a white guy to go to Thailand though and get a lot of pussy. One time I created the exact same dating profile with Thailand as my location and I was flooded with matches

Except this will never happen. As long as the 300lbs girls have tons of hot men in their inbox, they will never date their looksmatch. My husband also looks younger, he easily passes for my age and people have even guessed he’s younger than me. But I would have filtered him out just due to his age on OLD. I think I had my filter set to <30. Which is silly, I mean if 29 is ok, why not 30, but you have to set it to something or you get 60 yr olds constantly messaging you, and there are too many messages as it is. Ew okay, that sounds creepy AF. I can just imagine a young attractive 20 something year old girl being messaged by 60 …
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/21 02:41 PM

If only that was actually true lol. OLD has made 2/10 whales think they're entitled to guys far more attractive than myself. I'm maybe a 6 at max. If I were to be a 6 and a girl I'd get thousands of matches in days.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/21 02:18 PM

That said, I think certain women have an easier time carrying extra weight compared to men. I actually would argue girls get away with being skinny more than guys do. But then guys get away with extra weight more easily, because of the whole dad-bod trend, and what not.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/21 02:17 PM

My BMI can hover slightly above 25 at times. I'm 6'1" 185lbs. Closer to the upper end of normal weight, but BMI is just a general rule of thumb. Despite this, people consistently think I'm skinnier than I am. I think it's because a lot of the fat goes to my legs, and less to my upper body. I agree with the other user that it depends on the ratio between aspects of yourself and the fat.

I think it can be okay for estimating your attractiveness, although it's probably better to do that by categories, "ugly", "below average", "above average", etc. But ultimately its arbitrary, subjective, and not very accurate.

I'll list my general physical standards/preferences as a guy, I'm curious if they seem unreasonable. I'm probably a bit above average. My stats: 6'1", 185-190lbs, blue eyes, white. Race: I prefer light skinned girls, not necessarily white. Face: Not sure how to put this into words, I just have to find it somewhat attractive. Height: Don't really care, I prefer 5'0"-5'4" range though. Weight: You don't need to be fit or athletic necessarily, just don't be overweight. Eye color: Don't care really,…

Is muscle even really that important? I wanted to get into lifting anyways because powerlifting seems cool, but I didn't think it served much of a cosmetic purpose. Old you sounds like me. I'm pretty average I would say other than my height. I'd put myself at a 5-6 maximum. I'm sure I could do some things to gain a point or two though?

That's pretty messed up, I don't pay much attention to gender. If you have the credentials and you're sitting in that desk chair, I'm going to assume you know enough regardless of your gender…

Eh I don't think you'd want to do DMT or any psychedelics with a person you don't know well, if you have a bad trip they might not be as caring for you. Many men don’t want their equal, either. Most seem to want a sex doll and maid and someone much younger than them. What makes me insecure is if a girl is really athletic and strong because I'm kinda weak. To me its a plus if a girl is smarter, I would love dating a PhD girl while I have a bachelors or masters. Because many women don't want their equal. Believe me, I'd be okay with my equal. They often want a guy out of their league looks wise/makes more money than them. Despite the increase in female education, this trend in income disparity has stayed put. Marriage? Because of the potential for her to divorce him and take half. Or cheat on him and then get divorced and take half. It's a legally binding process and is very serious. Thanks for the study. I'm trying to be more scientific about educating myself, versus just only reading opinions and anecdotal evidence haha. I've heard of a study just like this one, I think it is true yes. While there are certain traits that I think women are pretty much universally in favor of (e.g. height), lots of it is subjective and more varied, versus most guys who like a skinny girl with big ass and tits.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/21 06:28 AM

I'm not sure. Thing is men find a much larger percentage of women attractive than vice versa. I don't think it's only the top 20% having most of the sexual encounters.

I'll admit the sub is very toxic. Trying to stay away from that. Honestly it seems like dating is just so much drama. I just wanted a nice relationship with mutual attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/21 02:35 AM

There's plenty of profiles like the ones on that sub. You can argue it's a minority but it still exists, it is totally possible women like this are a minority.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/21 02:28 AM
1

I'm talking about looks, not personality, in the case of those things I agree
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/21 02:27 AM
2

are you talking about things like dick size, muscles, and height, which is impossible/irrelevant for a woman to match? Also that's not a super extreme scenario. That sub I linked has tons of examples of profiles like that. I myself have matched with lots of obese girls.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/21 01:47 AM
4

I don't disagree. I should stop using this sub honestly. It's not anywhere near as bad as TRP yet some of the comments I've read here make me feel like I want to be bitter and toxic. There is good discussion that can take place here, but sometimes radical viewpoints can twist my brain.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/21 01:41 AM
2

Why would I disagree about how much time you've spent on a sub? I meant with my overall viewpoint on TRP. Haha. And yes, I mean this equally to both genders. Both of those subs are just echo chambers of toxicity and hate against the opposite sex, under the guise of "dating advice".
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/21 01:39 AM
2

Especially with promiscuity, maybe she wanted to hide an STD or something serious. It's never good to start relationships on a lie though.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/21 01:38 AM

The cult's gathering place is that sub (among other online communities). So I view those statement as the same. I've spent enough time on that sub to know its toxic, you don't have to agree. Somewhat like any other dating strategy subs? Yes. FDS is pretty much the same except its with men
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/21 01:36 AM
3

Dishonesty is a major red flag.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/21 01:35 AM

no you don't have to, but generally, if you're a 400lbs fat single mom, you're going to have trouble finding a hot, ripped 25 year old with a six pack. And vice versa if you replace single mom with dad
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/21 01:33 AM
3

Because while I don't disagree with the general goal of TRP (be a strong confident man, and don't let women take advantage of you), the sub is full of misogyny. They treat women as if they're some game where if you say the right things, they'll output sex as a reward. I think it can teach some good lessons, but a lot of commentary on the sub is just misogyny and treats women as subordinates.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/21 01:32 AM
1

He at least acknowledges that its toxic. TRP is literally a cult of misogyny.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/21 01:27 AM
0

If that's the case, then me being 6'1/185lbs/blue eyed/white with average to slightly above face, should be enough to date more than a whale. I'm skinnyfat, but there's nothing stopping me from going to the gym and getting ripped if I put in the dedication. I think of my looksmatch as a semi cute girl, not built like a square, but not a 10/10 body either.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/21 12:38 AM
1

Yeah that's a fair point. I did say though, that you never see it lmao.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/21 12:37 AM
2

Yeah that's not what I'm talking about. Plus he eventually ended up cheating on her with some rich blonde 25 year old. Then he had a kid, he cheated on that girl. Also his ex-wife wasn't ugly. Was she less attractive than him? Absolutely. She's not a 2 either though.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/21 12:30 AM
2

That only works on girls with no self esteem. Any girl with self respect probably wouldn't tolerate treating them as your subordinate. Also I take it you're somewhat conventionally attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 11:29 PM
1

Ah okay, if you only meant for a few years, I can definitely see that being true. I do agree that women's attractiveness standards date back to historic ages. Women typically wanted tall and strong men who could be a protector. A girl with nice boobs and a round ass indicates she is capable of birthing healthy children.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 11:10 PM
1

Looking down on women? As in acting like you're better, putting them down and insulting them? I don't see how that would translate to getting laid. If you meant that girls will chase you if you give them less attention, that definitely holds some truth.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 11:09 PM
2

For a few years, maybe. I don't know enough to say for sure. But I think traditionally women would have children with multiple men

i was not aware it was in countries like the phillipines also, I thought only some arab countries with sharia law edit: saw the other comment you made
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 11:01 PM

Globally definitely. In Saudi Arabia it took them decades of activism to even allow women to drive. And a woman's testimony is only considered half of a man's, meaning the man always wins in "he said she said" scenarios. It's like living in the 1700s if you're a woman, except technology exists.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 10:10 PM
3

I definitely agree with the sentiment that people should not settle. I've gotten tons of interest from girls I'm very disinterested in. It's better to keep the high standards and not settle, than have a bad relationship where she might eventually discover I didn't really like her at all to begin with. It wouldn't be enjoyable for me, and I think that would crush some girls' self esteem.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 10:08 PM
1

Okay, fair. Women don't have to meet their own standards because men and women have different standards. But I think that if you were a really fat woman, and only wanted to date skinny attractive guys, you would have a lot of trouble.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 10:04 PM
4

I mean, so I've been rethinking it. You bring a good point, because men and women aren't the same. I said this before, but I'm not going near the fat girls anyways so it's not like it matters if they want a skinny guy. But by that logic it's okay for fat ugly neckbeards to only want supermodels. And I also think that the fat girl in that scenario would have a lot of trouble finding a partner if she only wanted hot attractive guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 10:03 PM
3

I'm not talking about skills, you're referring to a difference in personality and character, which definitely can be good in a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 09:56 PM
3

meh its just annoying, but you've got a point
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 09:55 PM
4

nobody has to meet their own standards, but lets be real, is it really fair to expect something out of somebody you're so far incapable of doing yourself? eg: fat girl wants a skinny guy or fat guy wants skinny girl. This doesn't only apply to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 09:48 PM
12

my problem is not the fact that they have high standards, its complaining about not finding a relationship when they have high standards. If you have high standards, don't meet them, and don't complain about not being able to find a relationship, I don't really care.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 09:43 PM
2

I was more referring to posts I've seen on reddit about it, I find it annoying. But you're right I suppose, there aren't any serious consequences. I know I won't go near those women anyways, so I suppose their standards don't really affect me.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 09:42 PM
2

Yeah no it's not all women by any means. OLD is increasing that number though. I'm average to maybe slightly above average and I can get dates from OLD at least once in awhile. If women only dated and fucked hot chads then I would still be a virgin.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 09:36 PM
25

Why is that a problem? The problem is saying "no men will commit to me", when really what they mean is "no men meeting my rigid standards will commit to me." It's not all women, but when the 400lbs single mom on food stamps is looking for an attractive guy with a six pack and makes 300k a year, I'm going to laugh when she complains about not being able to find a partner. It's like the equivalent of the mountain-dew guzzling neckbeard who lives in his mom's basement wanting a supermodel.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 09:35 PM
3

This is probably wrong. I say probably because I don't have the scientific papers to back up my claim, but I'm pretty sure monogamy is a completely modern concept. It's not optimal for producing the most offspring, like what was needed at the time when there weren't as many humans.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 09:26 PM
6

I think these women can sometimes be deluded into thinking since they fucked chads they should also date chads. This is precisely the problem. When the fat 3/10 whale on tinder gets tons of requests to hookup, she now thinks she's entitled to chad, when in reality most of those guys didn't see her as anything more than an object to ejaculate onto.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 09:25 PM
9

I'll say this, women have incredibly inflated standards on dating apps. I'm 6'1", about 185-190lbs, kinda skinnyfat, I don't look fat. I've matched with girls who are a foot shorter and weigh the same or in some cases 50-60 lbs more than I do. They claim to not be shallow, but guarantee you, if you showed them their looksmatch (an obese guy), they wouldn't want them.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 09:11 PM
0

if you're talking about relationships, then I agree that women often don't meet their own standards. With hookups, they don't need to offer much to get a hot guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 09:03 PM
3

I agree that I never see a Chris Hemsworth looking guy with a whale. I have never once seen that in my life. I've definitely run into instances with an average or okay looking guy with a pretty hot girl. Also like the 20% rule applies to dating apps, regardless of the intention. Because just like in a hookup, looks are by far the most important thing for selling yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 09:02 PM
39

It's very reasonable for women to have really high standards There is no problem with women having high standards related to hookups. If I had tons of hot girls messaging me, why would I pick the average or overweight one? I don't blame women for being shallow in that regard. Looks are the only thing that matters for a hookup. The problem is when women have really high relationship standards that they can't match. Then they complain that no guy will commit to them because of these standards. I'm…

But it’s pretty delusional and unhealthy for the males here to truly truly believe the overwhelming majority of women are passing around the top 20% of men, while regular and normal men are not getting sex or relationships. I think it's mostly true when it comes to sex. It's definitely not true when it comes to relationships. I really don't see many hot girls with average guys like some people will claim. Usually it's a looksmatched couple. Then again, I question if 20% is a lot less of an expec…

I think pretty much everybody (even those who can't/don't hookup) knows it exists. I guess I'm barely in the club, I've hooked up only a few times, but I'm also really young. For some reason though, lots of tinder girls say they don't want hookups on their profile. I have a feeling what they really mean is: "Don't open with dick pics. if you're good looking, I might be down to hook up with you."

TRP's main focus is to give dudes who wouldn't be having sex at all a chance to get there. Obviously there's loads of virgins on the internet complaining, but what guys really never get to have sex? Sure, most guys don't get to bang a hot chick, but like, most guys do bang at least an average or ugly girl at one point.

This. It's turned into a misogynistic cult.

Red pill has some good advice here and there (don't let women abuse you, be confident and outgoing, etc), my honest view is that it's turned into a misogynistic cult. I feel it treats women as a game where if you say the right things, you'll win sex. But to answer your question, its about getting the girl to sleep with you. Obviously if you can't please her then she won't want to sleep with you again, but its not like a bunch of men can give you a written tutorial on how to make a girl orgasm, p…

Interesting. Yeah no need to rush that early on. You got a solid 10 years before biological clock really becomes an issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 07:41 PM

I think that's a reasonable point, that you'll potentially outgrow that belief. In your 20s you're more focused on being social and having fun. As you get older people tend to have less friends and not be as social.

I'm not exactly childfree as a guy, but it's not a dealbreaker for me. I think if I met an otherwise great woman who happened to be childfree, I could make compromises.

You're 23? Then you're literally in your prime, I assume you were just playing devil's advocate with this post because a 23 year old woman should have no problem encountering hot guys on dating apps lol.

Okay, so we can say 99.7% instead of all. Better?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 04:59 PM

I have seen tall women dating short men. tall women are less picky about height usually because they know its hard to find guys who are much taller than them.

Another thing is that most of the desirable/high quality men are married/engaged by the time you get to age 35. And I don't know your age, but if you're above 30, they're capable of using filters.

Because the actually attractive and desirable 30s men are going to date women in their 20s.

I mean, you're saying that men have all these rigid requirements for women, and you're not wrong, but like, why would any high quality 30s men be looking for average 30 year old women? An attractive 35 year old guy with money can date girls in their 20s easily. Why would he settle for the overweight 33 year old when he can date a hot 25 year old? To answer your question, no, you shouldn't date people you're not attracted to. But you should understand that what you're looking for might not be pos…

I don't disagree with the general premise of your post. Women have tons of options and its not an accurate representation of reality. I take issue with one thing though. Let me pose this question. I'm not saying they don't exist, but lots of men are going to want sex. There's the whole arm candy thing, but meh, I don't see the appeal of that. I get that some people like it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/21 05:42 AM

Meh it's quite ridiculous. I'm 6'1", if that isn't tall enough for her, she is picky beyond delusion. Because I'm taller than like 95% of men.

I think of a BB as a guy who gets the real short end of the stick, she doesn't have to have kids IMO. Although it is common that they do. Him giving her a lot of money and attention with not much in return. Everytime he tries to initiate sex she complains of a headache or says she's too tired. Why are men "dropping out"?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/21 03:50 AM

The problem is when I hear things like that I'm tempted to jump to the AFBB strategy. I think it's bullshit to some degree though.

Oh so you've never been in any non-fwb romantic relationship? Interesting. Is that because you couldn't find one, or because you just weren't seeking one? Honestly I am capable of attracting girls at the beginning somewhat. What I struggle with is maintaining their interest. I've gotten hookups here and there, and they're fun, but meh, its not the same as a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/21 03:18 AM

The only thing is that there's no replacement for genuine human companionship, i feel a lot of the people saying that "there's more to life than relationships" are the ones who are in them and would be devastated if it ended.

It's totally possible I am, because I've heard you can't really get much success on tinder if you're not. Also you sound like a Chad. 6'3" with single digit body fat, yeah hahahahahaha. I think I need to get off the dating apps and learn to approach women in real life more easily. It's hard to do in STEM school, but I'll work on it where I can. I just question what women really want. When I'm not corrupted by hatred and resentment I can be a kind, genuine person. And I think I am truly that most…

I knew a tall latino man who was good looking. He got a lot of pussy. I don't even know where to meet women. And honestly, most of the non-ugly & non-crazy ones are not single. Lets be real. Most perpetually single women are either ugly or crazy. Or both.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/21 01:44 AM

Honestly I'd do way better in real life I'm sure. I'm tall, white and blue eyed, that's not enough for most tinder girls other than the walking whales I guess. It seems if you don't look like Chris Hemsworth it's a waste of time. Then again, most of my IRL interactions with women result in one word answers, although I have had a few positive experiences.

I'm in STEM too. Still in school but gender ratio is awful. I thought about hiring an escort at one point but I couldn't bring myself to go through with it. Then again, still beats being some BB. There's a higher chance of me meeting god than succumbing to that.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/21 01:15 AM

I'm sure they exist, but my point is that most men will not. Many men won't even date an ex-porn star.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/21 12:58 AM

I think you're confusing sex with a relationship my friend. Many guys would fuck them because they're hot. Doesn't mean they want to date them
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/21 12:51 AM
1

Even most famous porn stars are married or have relationships. Yes, often to other porn stars, or they stop before they have the relationship. Very rare that a normal guy will seriously date a porn star. As for why a guy would pay a girl to go out with i him, I think a lot of it has to do with the status of being seen with a beautiful woman. Yeah that makes no sense to me. I could care less if friends saw me with a hot girl. I would find it more embarassing that they paid to have that.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/21 12:42 AM
2

Yup this seems accurate. I'd put myself from 5-6, and most of my matches are 3-4. Dating as a guy nowadays seems pretty much impossible unless you look like a greek god. I'm being facetious but fuck, the internet has really fucked up shit compared to 50 years ago. And I'm not even always trying to hookup. I've tried to just date normally with no intention of hooking up.

Meh, as I said with STEM school, dating in real life is like the equivalent of swiping on tinder. About 20% girls. That number is far less when you get rid of the non-single and ugly ones, then take away the ones that won't like you. It's truly a needle in the haystack situation. Doesn't help that my school is also not very big either. I know I'm somewhat lucky. I literally have the 3 characteristics that lots of guys complain they don't have, I'm tall, white and blue eyed. STEM also has me set …

Well, I think approaching people in real life is not as socially acceptable or common nowadays, nowadays everything is online. Not to say it doesn't happen, but in my particular scenario, my real life dating pool is as bad if not worse than tinder, because I attend STEM university. Imagine the 80/20 male to female ratio, except 80% of those girls are not single. Then again, i guess on tinder you could rule out 80% of the girls for fucking around/ego boosting/not being serious.

Most sugar babies aren’t prostitutes. A lot of it is purely online these days. Okay, what self-respecting guy would let his girlfriend post nudes of herself online so that other men can jerk off to it? What self respecting guy would take that same girl to say a work event and introduce her as, "yeah, my girlfriend is an onlyfans content creator". And if it is in person, you're right, its not always involving sex, but I personally don't see why a guy would pay a girl just to go out with him and n…

Meh. I'm just speaking from experience. You can say I'm shallow or whatever, but I'm 6'1", blue eyed, not overweight, pretty average face and most of my matches are obese girls. From time to time I have gotten a date with a girl I was actually interested in, so it's not always, but just 90% of the time. And before you ask why I swiped on them, it's called I'm a guy and I swipe carelessly because it would waste too much time to analyze every profile when you consider how few matches we get to beg…

Maybe with a simp. I can't imagine a guy with any self-respect allowing his girlfriend to suck off some older man because she can't support herself
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 10:12 PM

As a woman I don’t get how guys can pay to watch someone they will never ever meet in person but they do and that’s why we have Only Fans. I think it's stupid also. I would never pay for OF. The appeal to receiving nudes is that she wants to send them. So at that point to me its no different than just watching porn. There are plenty of extremely hot girls in porn vids that don't cost a cent.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 10:09 PM

women are probably trying to husband him up. Maybe the ugly, obese, single mom who is desperate for a provider. The girls of the same attractiveness as him would most likely just unmatch him.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 10:07 PM
8

eh, lets be real, the guy might be a bit nerdy and unattractive, but that doesn't make him stupid. Lots of people in STEM are smart, I doubt he'll be handing over thousands of dollars to her unless she actually has sex with him. I'm fairly average looking with blue eyes and tall, despite dating being fucked up, I will never be a sugar daddy, at that point I'd rather spend my money on hookers and blow.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 10:01 PM
0

How is it relevant? I'm pointing out why I think fat people sometimes get treated worse in public than attractive people sometimes because of their apperance. And okay I see what you mean. Yeah that's definitely a problem that all women potentially could face regardless of attractiveness
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 09:57 PM
2

It's hard to quantify, I'd say its about 60/40 for a relationship. In terms of how important they are in relationships. But like, if you're ugly, she is just gonna unmatch you, it doesn't matter if you have tons of hobbies and have run 50 ultramarathons. If your face looks ugly, that doesn't matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 09:54 PM
1

It doesn't matter how interesting you are, if you're ugly. At least on OLD. Real life you might get a little bit more success, but just being interesting doesn't get you in relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 09:51 PM
9

I've seen worse. Once I matched with some fat chick on tinder, she told me some guy paid her hundreds of bucks to literally just suck him off. Granted, he was some ugly, balding alcoholic in his 40s and she was like 19, but still.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 09:44 PM
7

[she] might just consider a perpetually dateless 5/10 35M w/ a 175k STEM job if he indicates in some subtle way that he is a very generous partner. Sure, but she'll be getting a lot of Chad dick on the side. Once in awhile he might get a blowjob that she reluctantly gives.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 09:43 PM
2

"ugly" girls aren't necessarily easier. It depends on the girl. I've met attractive girls who were much easier than fat ugly ones. Women on OLD are picky, period. Even the 500lbs girl has tons of options.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 09:35 PM
1

The halo effect is real. People who are physically attractive are more perceived to be funny, likeable, etc, whether it's actually true or not. It's how men treat me behind closed doors that has always been a problem and is a problem for hot women too. Are you referring to when you get into bed with a guy?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 09:33 PM
5

It might boost their ego temporarily but false artificial praise never translates to real confidence. It'll fade the instant some guy insults or degrades her, and she'll start feeling worthless again. You really need to love yourself without external influence to have genuine confidence.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 09:31 PM

I was once a virgin with no hope (granted I wouldn't say I'm ugly). At the time I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't settle for an ugly fat single mom no matter how desperate I got

100k/year is actually like $68k when you take taxes into account. To truly make six figures you have to make at least $155k. About 7% of households in the US. Then you think about how many are both tall and rich. Not very many.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen08/03/21 06:14 PM
1

What do you specifically mean by underestimating height here? As in they look at someone who is 6ft and think they are shorter? Or the opposite and not realise just how tall 6ft actually is? Sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant a few things. First off, a short woman probably can't really tell much of a difference between 5'9" and 6'0". I mainly was referring to the fact however that women don't realize how few men that are above their desired height exist.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen08/03/21 05:28 PM
38

Still, female 4s get to reproduce. But look where she ended up. I'd rather be ugly and a virgin than ugly and a single mom.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen08/03/21 04:43 PM

Why do girls go on dating apps just to "find friends"? Just be honest, say you want an emotional tampon to take advantage of.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen08/03/21 04:42 PM
2

In the US its like 2.5%. It's crazy, she's eliminating 97.5% of guys just based on their height alone, and as you said, doesn't account for all the other standards
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen08/03/21 04:40 PM
1

You're right. Every tall girl I've encountered was unconcerned about height, the short ones wanted 6 foot guys. I'm tall so it's not an issue, but I just don't get it.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen08/03/21 04:39 PM
2

The truth is most women vastly underestimate height. They also dont realize that when they want a 6'2" guy, they're eliminating like 97.5% of guys. Only 15% of men in the US are 6'. The 80/20 rule really does apply in this case. Or I suppose its 85/15 here. So to put in perspective how picky OP is being, she's basically saying, I will automatically eliminate 39/40 guys in a group of 40, and then he meets JUST my height requirement. God knows how many other picky standards she has.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen08/03/21 04:38 PM

Maybe a very small amount of people, but the thing is, nuclear weapons are not just designed to be destructive warfare devices. Perhaps it's not a perfect comparison. I think most men prefer hourglass girls though. And that's not technically true, there's leg lengthening surgery, granted it is way more elaborate and uncommon than say a boob job. I agree that women are less likely to disagree on height than men with big tits. There are definitely women who do deviate, they're just less common, especially on OLD

There's so many incels on this sub too tbh lol

Looks. You can have the greatest personality in the world but if you're ugly then most girls won't give you a chance to showcase that part of yourself. But most women won't necessarily date some asshole who is racist just because he's good looking. They might sleep with that guy, or some girls might put up with it, but the majority would be turned off instantly I'd think, at least for anything more than sex.

Yes, that's what Roe v Wade says.

In most places it's considered a double murder. google Scott Peterson if you want an example EDIT: others in this thread already brought up my example

I get matches and hooked up on OLD. My face is pretty average looking I'd say. I just only match with whales or really ugly girls for the most part, once in a blue moon I'll get a decent match. My point is that being 6 feet isn't an instant ticket to getting laid

These two scenarios exist simultaneously somewhere on earth and for a person in either scenario the other scenario sounds like a joke. Grass is greener. Seriously though, what kind of girl doesn't have sex with her boyfriend? Most guys would just dump her.

I think she meant for her because she's 5'3". Obviously a 5'8" person doesn't stand out to taller people. For someone to feel tall to me, they have to be like 6'4" or above (I'm 6'1")
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/21 06:59 AM

Yeah women do care a lot. I'm 6'1" so I've never had issues with this, but I've met some short girls who were really shallow about height, as in they wouldn't date a guy a few inches shorter than me despite them being like 5'0"-5'3". But women are attracted to height, just like how men are attracted to big tits and a fat ass.

The thing is, I feel T&A is a lot about what makes a girl attractive to begin with. So if she's built like a square I wouldn't feel attracted to her to begin with.

Yeah like incels.co or some of the PUA sites are far worse lol. I only mention incels because people here use terms like "Chad" and "Becky" lmfao

I mean, I don't disagree about the height, but are all guys who are 6'1" in the top 20%? Because I can tell you that I'm 6'1" and I am not drowning in pussy on OLD. And are there really no guys who are shorter than 6'1" in the top 20%? I would say the majority of that 20% is the same, but there is a little bit of variance.

I think there's a little bit of variance, but I think when you get to the very top and bottom of the attractiveness totem pole, things become more objective and less subjective. I believe this is why some men have trouble believing a woman when she says that an attractive guy wearing a MAGA hat or posing with bulging muscles at the gym is not attractive to them even though they are "objectively" in the pile of 50% of acceptable men. I disagree with this somewhat. The reason the girl doesn't want…

I wouldn't say this sub is the most non-toxic sub around, but compared to other subs on this subject, it is very non toxic.

I've dated a few. By no means am I super attractive. I'm tall but I'd say I'm fairly average looking.

Yeah it depends on the girl and context. Some girls are fine with having sex right away others prefer to wait

WW3 would be the end of humanity assuming it inevitably went nuclear. There won't be survivors. Even if you survive the initial blast, the rapid cooling effect called nuclear winter would kill you. And if that somehow doesn't, you'd probably die of radiation poisoning soon enough and most food and water would be poisonous.

I would complain a lot less if it was a 3 expecting a 5 or a 5 expecting a 7, but when all of them expect a 9 or they will refuse to date or treat the men they can date terribly it shows rampant entitlement and narcissism. Well I'll tell you my own experience. I'm average to maybe slightly above average looking, 6'1", blue eyes. A 5.5-6/10 at best maybe. I've had sex with/been on dates with girls I was decently attracted to, I'd put them around 6-7.5/10. Perhaps I'm overrating them but they were…

True. I mean, I don't think women should date a guy they aren't attracted to, but only wanting 9/10s is a little extreme. In a fulfilling relationship ideally both parties should desire each other.

I had no clue there were people this old on this sub lol. Sorry, its just that you're old enough to be my dad. LMAO.

Women don't just come up to us and go "hey, want my pussy?" Yeah this 100%. You will rarely if ever get sex if you're not the one to make a move.

Meh. Not all women are shallow. A lot of them are though, especially on OLD. The problem is that when a Becky gets tons of matches it artificially inflates her ego and she feels like she's hot shit, when in reality, most of those guys see her as a hole and nothing more.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/21 10:48 PM

This actually makes sense when you account for the weight and desperation of fat women. True. Fat chicks are the only ones that really express prolonged interest in me. I'm not fat, but either I'm just ugly or tinder hypergamy is a real thing. I've gotten dates with some Becky's though. 9/10 times though my matches are a fat or really ugly chick. I once matched with some really fat chick who was like 5'0" and a solid 50-60lbs above me (keep in mind I'm not a short dude). It was honestly sad how …

It depends on how shallow. If you're talking about the crazy psychotic bitch on tinder who only wants 9/10s who are 6'4" with chiseled abs, then no, its not like those girls want me anyways. I've met some girls who are say really shallow with height requirements that I meet, that isn't as much of an issue for me. And the way it was expressed was more as a preference rather than a stern demand.

Nobody wants to be pregnant. It's a means to an end. If you want children, then you get pregnant. Obviously there's surrogates and other methods but like generally speaking.

Honestly, I'm tall, a bit above average in dick size. I find that really interesting though. I'm wondering why this is? I didn't think bigger was necessarily better.

I didn't realize OP literally laid that out. I didn't read the whole post. This is exactly it. Many women don't want to feel "easy", so they don't say yes to having sex with a guy right away even if they are willing to.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/21 10:06 PM

I mean, it depends on the context, in some cases, no clearly means no, but I agree that it often really means "no, but try again later".
