They do see the connection, which is why they're gaslighting her so hard. Most of men dating women is men gaslighting women into how valuable men are and how much women should do for them.

The best piece of info that decimates early fertility statistics is that half of babies are oopsies. So, women that reached 35 and happened to not be pregnant were more likely to be infertile to begin with (and that is if course without feminine preventative medical care).

I am happy to be getting any of this pussy at all and know I'm not man enough to make her want me fully, but am still a parasitic man and want all of her sexual attention. Should I verbalize this to her?

To men, women are below them. To admit losing fully to a woman, would be to admit that he is below her sub-humanness.

That may be what it looks like, but truly, if they care for their children, what are they to do? They can focus on their children to try to make up for their partners shittiness or... They can be almost destitute and stressed while raising their children. If they love their children, which are innocents in all of this, and their husband if subpar, they're not focusing on their children to make up for their partner's harm. They're focusing on them because they're little humans that deserve love, …

How did you feel regular sex wise when you were literally ripped apart? I hear a lot of women say they "felt fine sex wise", while they are nursing some serious injuries. I think that's just part of paternalistic programming to have sex while women are clearly not in a state of full health.

I don't think it does. You know deep down what care, kindness, reverence, and respect feel like. You also know what contempt, anger and confusion feel like. If you're feeling the latter instead of the former, even if you don't know why, run.

I didn't want to have sex for 5 months after giving birth, and my husband didn't want to either because he's not a sadist. After birth, women's insides are literally an open, gaping wound from the physical trauma.

From a strategy perspective, I would at least recommend having sex in engagement. What if he has a broken dick? Or is awful in bed, despite being a lovely person? Something I would want to know about my partner.

For me, this is enough of a red flag to leave. Kind people don't say mean things. It shows a meanness in his heart. I don't care in what situations that perspective comes out in. Any situation is unacceptable.

Nobody has the answer? How about you don't import a bunch of people that don't share your culture, and don't value women. Pretty simple answer. Notice countries like Poland aren't having massive issues with Muslims raping Western Polish women.

I think it would be so helpful for every woman to read "Why Does He Do That", which lists every abuse and control tactic. I was shocked reading how every "good" guy I dated early in my 20s did some of these. I thought they were just difficult and immature; nope, consciously abusive to keep me in my place.

It's funny, the quality men don't mind if you're not weird about it. The losers do though and act offended. "Why are you dating?" (Looking for a long-term partner/marriage answer). "If you found the right person, are you in a stage where you're ready to get married?". "I'm looking for a life partner that wants children." (Note response) This is literally a pre-date for me. It cuts out a third of men right away. While some men might lie on the "why are you dating", they won't hold a straight face…

There aren't enough good Father's go around. 95% of men watch porn, so you have 5% left that don't think objectifying young girls and using your sexual slave labor is okay. Let's say 70% of women are emotionally healthy enough to be loving to a child and 5% of men are emotionally healthy enough, you have 65% of children having a good mother and shite dad. These are just my feelings put into numbers, but if we could please stop blaming the women for being stOOOpid.

I do think it's possible for men to grow and realize their entitled entitlement and the subtly (and not so subtly) abusive way they meet their entitled preferences. But, it would take decades of work, and is really outside of the scope of dating a healthy partner.

If he spends $15k on an engagement ring and cheats, that's $15k less that you have access to in a divorce (or when you find out and spend it on whatever car etc. purchase before notifying him you'll be separating). I'd rather have the cash to spend.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/03/20 08:48 PM
7

I'll be honest, I hate the proposal expensive ring idea, back to men buying women as property. I have a very nice, artist-created wedding band, and my husband instead bought our house high-quality furniture and landscaping. The commitment cash outlay was there and it's all to my liking and for my benefit. (He did buy me a beautiful ring as a "wedding day present" without the creepy bride purchasing undertones.)

You're welcome. Yeah, casual wardrobe is a whole other thing. I remember in my younger twenties wearing business casual sweaters on weekends because... that's what I had. Good luck on your weekend clothing journey!

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/03/20 02:11 AM

I think all of these are immature behaviors, and while I wouldn't pass up seeing someone because they used to get high in their early twenties or periodically did cocaine during the same period if it was socially normative and not loser-ish (like banking in their mid twenties), I would never date a man that currently did those things.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/03/20 07:21 PM

And that's natural for it to upset you. It simulates being socially outcast and abandoned. What a fucked up thing to someone you'd like to be with.

Abusive men also do this. You don't need to have a mental disorder to be controlling and manipulative. Either way, walk the other way.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/03/20 10:36 PM

Yes, of course. This is FDS, afterall. And you don't need a relationship for sperm, amirite? OP was saying relationships and dating are quite a bit of work, and that it doesn't seem worth it sometimes. What would make that worth it would be a HVM as a partner with children.

I think the red flag here is if they say early on that they were the black sheep or scapegoat in the family; clearly they're still in that mindset. (Otherwise, why would they phrase it that way? They would say something active showing emotional work like, "I worked really hard in counseling to not repeat the pattern of my parents"). There's still baggage there, and you still might want to say no, but it's bound to be an absolute clusterfuk.

If I haven't met someone in person and they appear to be a HVM, they'll explain why they're suggesting simply a coffee date as a predate and state that the first real date will be dinner. My best first date was: going to a playful, new art installment which was really nearby a seasonal, high-quality outdoor art event. Dinner was at a minor league baseball game an hour and a half later. How I interpret the situation: man wanted to create offspring to copy himself, then wanted the woman to care for his offspring selfishly. She does a good job of caring for his offspring into adulthood, so she stops being needed and he gets rid of her. Almost all men are trash.

I personally see it as bad for all women. If women are putting out without any effort on the men's part, then men have absolutely no incentive to actually try. From my perspective, it's not slut-shaming (and I've actually never downvoted or commented negatively on any of these posts), but it is really inconsiderate to women in general. I would suggest relegating cathartic "I didn't say yes to that LVM" posts to a weekly thread. ..."He was looking like a HVM, but then he did this clearly LVM thing, and I had all sorts of feelings about it, but I moved on." I know it's very important to the poster posting for support, which is why I suggest a thread instead of banning those comments, but the added value is very close to zero for each of those comments individually.

In Buddhism, there is an idea that harm comes often from lack of skill. Improving one's skill is a large obligation of following the path to enlightenment. Could we start flipping the idea of a "good" woman and "bad" woman? Let's define good relative to our shared experience: good women are whole people that take care of themselves, respect themselves, and treat people appropriate to the relationship--children get mothered, friends get friends love, and men get partner love. And bad women are... they never describe bad women in these memes, just non-slave, non-compliant women.

I hate teasing. Like, I'm feeling at peace and comfortable, and he's teasing to create anxiety? As if men aren't infuriating enough without doing it as a hobby.

Honestly, it is unacceptable to not have a second car and keep your partner trapped and isolated at home. Like, abusive. If he is working, he needs to buy himself a $3k beater car and give her the safe car, so she can start meeting her practical and emotional needs during the day (he should or course help but gawd I couldn't imagine being confined all day with a baby).

And if you do get married, do not have children until you're like 25.

Yes. It's sad because I would love to have a super-giving reciprocal marriage, but much more satisfying to give much less to my husband and much more to my children, friends, projects and self. It's a fulfilling life.

Exactly this.

Yes. My husband, early in in dating, thought that him working entitled him to my house labor. Or him doing his wood"working" hobby on weekends entitled him to me cooking a full lunch, served exactly at noon. When we got married, we basically came to a stalemate on cooking labor and instead eat-out (healthy) food most nights or prep meals with minimal steps/ingredients.

I had asked boyfriends to watch a few documentaries about the porn industry and sex trafficking, and then opened up discussions about porn being sexually abusive toward women, emotional cheating, and not a model of healthy sexuality. Then, I made watching porn a deal breaker, and I would leave on the spot if I ever found out in the future. Abusing women is abhorrent and I could never be with anyone that treats women like shit.

In college I made a basket of heart-shaped, iced brownies for a man I was dating. He was going to take me out to dinner, and instead took me on a walk to break up with me. I shamed him into buying me takeout... Gawd.

Uhhhhh. The day I see men posting memes like this seriously about caretaking women and making all of the meals is the day I might consider doing the same.

As an aside, it's rather dangerous to intend to only sleep next to a man you haven't been seeing that long. That situation is unfortunately a common way to get sexually hurt.

The bare minimum standard is you don't go up to random women on the street. It's just creepy considering how often women are harassed.

That's awful, especially since they could have done a pee on the stick pregnancy test or a urine test. I'm drawing attention to other options, because minimizing the violation to yourself intellectually will make it harder for you to emotionally heal this fully.

I think it's regional but that 27 is the perfect time to start seriously dating, if you didn't find your honeyboo in college (and date for a long time afterward). I started dating more seriously at 28 and it was so easy to line up dates with at least medium quality men. It's easier to filter in your late twenties because you're looking at what men have accomplished instead of the potential that they're trying to sell you on, and most men that I dated didn't make it to a third date. I look back a…

One of the loveliest responses to, "but then your family shares a name together" was that the "and" shows your together. As in, Mr. XXX And Ms. YYY. We don't need the same identity to be together.

It takes 21 days to form a habit. Think about the breakup and cry about it for a few days, then cut.your.mind.off. whenever you start to replay any of it. The quickest (and therefore least overall painful) way to get over anything is to feel your feelings, then redirect into your new, present life.

I get bored too, but I'm OK with it at first until 52 ish hours later. Some men in my region were taught that it's inappropriate and stalker-y to text right afterward and to give women space to decide. If they're trying to follow their (pretty reasonable IMO) rule of about 3 days delayed contact the first time, and they're super enthusiastic at day 3 in a "been thinking about you the last 3 days and can't wait to see you again" way, I'm not concerned about it.

Since I've received a few PMs about it: we love OurGroceries, but there are entire articles on the merits of each grocery list app.

I can't handle that in 2020 anyone has to tell their partner about milk needs. Low on milk? Every household member puts it on a shared grocery list app. At the store? Every family member buys the entire list. Just, cannot. Why should anyone be responsible for emotional labor that an app can do for you? This is below everyone.

So, I do the child raising for our family and a bit of really profitable business work as an aside for about 5-10 hours a week. With my outgoing, inquisitive personality, being responsible for all of the housework and management would literally break my spirit. It is mind numbing (while childrearing is hyperfocused and annoying often--I literally had my child hit my phone out of my hand as I type this). It's still a really bad deal for women from a quality of life standpoint if you're actually v…

How I've managed this a little is meeting them outside of a public venue with bistro seating nearby and suggested a little walk before dinner. I one meet a guy who was normal in the phone but had extreme anxiety in person--like, healthy weight but sweating, stuttering, etc. I parted ways before dinner.
