Seeing that this is the most upvoted comment in this sub is the real demoralizer. No wonder men's rights hasn't gone anywhere.

Obviously I can’t speak for your town but where I’m at that is not the case. My realtor is gay and on the city counsel and no one cares as long as you are not waving it in everyone’s face.

As someone who grew up in a left city and now lives in a small rural town, the premise is BS. Sure, men in the city vote left, but they don’t give 2 shits about their neighbor. People in my small town have a live and let live attitude but will go out of their way to help you if you need it. Voting left does not equate to more empathy in my experience.

I used to be involved with charity work and dated women that also did that type of work. Problem is they will treat the homeless guy great, but treat you like shit when you get in a relationship. In some cases their good deeds will make them feel more entitled. So it’s not the solution.

I’ve had some pretty cool female friends in my life, but they were all mildly overweight and not attractive. But they had personalities and I enjoyed hanging with them. All the attractive ones ended up treating me like a piece of shit.

Its true but no guarantee. I married a virgin, but she still cheated on me and left me to go ride the CC. Her family and friends encouraged it.

From an individual stand point, I agree, women can and should do whatever they want. But I still live in society and pay a lot of taxes. Women also control 70-90% of consumer spending, so what they buy effects the society I live in. And, ya know, I actually like women. Some of my favorite people are women.

I don't have any hard rules about this. If a woman I was interested in had some ONS and decided it wasn't for her, then that would be fine for me. I would want her to share my values regarding sex, that it is something to share with a person you care deeply about. I am not saying everyone should share my views, or that mine are the correct ones, but in a relationship it is important to have similar values. I'm not interested in someone who slept with 50 guys in college and then decides she is re…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/21 05:24 PM

It’s definitely not in his best interest to wait for that type of woman. There are plenty of woman that don’t need to go through that phase. Just don’t limit your prospects to one city or country.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/21 09:05 PM

I’m the type that doesn’t mind waiting, but if I knew she was handing it out to others right away, I would bail. Guess there are guys that would wait around for their turn.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/21 09:02 PM

Yea I don’t know about those type of guys. I’m not one and most of my “friends” that are like that are kind of douchey guys. I agree the game sucks.

You are just building strawmen now. I was just commenting on how your masculinity will help you in family court. Your solution is: Don't have sex with a woman unless I want a baby. If I get a woman pregnant, just accept whatever her decision and the courts decision is and go on with my life paying whatever they determine I have to pay. And don't ever complain to anyone ever, even if I end up living in my car because of the court's decision. That's cool if that's your definition of masculinity. J…

Once kids came along I become a walking ATM, just there to provide. Exactly my experience brother. It sent me into an early midlife crisis because I couldn't figure out what I had done wrong. Thankfully I found the RP and it helped me understand the situation better. We need to abolish state enforced relationships. If people want to make life long commitments, it should be between themselves and their god.
/r/WhereAllTheGoodMenAre10/07/21 04:30 PM
1

Seems you are also incapable of understanding a simple argument. Do I have to add the preface "you wanted to get her pregnant" to the argument for it to make sense to your masculine brain? Sure you can control when you get a women pregnant by abstaining from sex with her until you want to get her pregnant, but you can not control what that woman does with your child after she takes you to family court. So all the stoics were the examples of pure masculinity for you?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/21 04:12 PM

When you are all masculine up in a girl and get her in the motherly way, and she wants you for child support. Or is being a father not masculine? I know what masculinity is. Its when I go to a biker bar and challenge every big guy to an arm wrestling competition. /s
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/21 03:47 PM

I just sold my house and bought a diesel crew cab with truck camper. I was freaking out a bit about the price even though I have high net worth and zero debt, and this will be my house for the summer. I don’t get how people with low incomes, zero assets and massive debt justify these types of purchases.

I enjoy a debate because it helps me sharpen or change my own thinking. I never really care if I convince the other person. I don’t like it when the other person gets emotionally triggered and starts with personal attacks. I just end it at that point. A good debate should be like a boxing match where you both shake hands at the end, even if you still disagree.

I used to be very involved with the evangelical movement. Feminism totally took over that church. They were always trying to explain away the "misogynist" verses in the bible and make it work with modern day feminism. Sad really.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/21 04:23 PM

From the link: “Basically everything that people do very frequently can shape their brain structure and function,” Sure, if I sat around for 4 hours a day consuming porn, or any media for that matter, it might kill my motivation. But its a reach to claim a 10 minute session makes you want to sit around and eat Doritos all day.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/21 04:22 PM

It kills motivation period, for everything, not just women. Where did you get this idea from? As a highly successful and motivated man, I use pron to alleviate the one desire I can't control. I'm not into using women as masturbatory devices, I actually like them as people. So using my fleshlight gets the job done and I can move on with my life.

Do you mean the trp sub? Just wondering because I can't really stand that sub. Its like a dick waving contest to see how many plates they can spin.

I had never heard that porn decreases testosterone, so I looked it up and couldn't find any showing a correlation. In fact, there are some studies that show it increases T levels. If lack of porn is a criteria for women, then they should resign themselves to being single or being with weak men. The only men I know who say they don't look at porn were very feminine men.
/r/RedPillWomen25/06/21 01:16 AM

I just have to ask a follow up to this. You meet a lot of men in the city who make 6 figures, don't enjoy porn, don't imbibe alcohol repeatedly, and are in shape?

I was reading that alcoholism and health meds are way up in older single women, so I would be interested in where you get your stats. Not saying you are wrong. Men in their 40s are still the largest suicide statistic.

Not in the numbers that are needed to keep modern society functioning. We are already short on male tradesmen as it is. Guess you don't think enough will drop out to matter. What is the difference between deserve and attracted to in your mind? I find it interesting that you use the word deserve. Man physicians are such douche bags. The main reason I left medical field was because Drs. Those 'grunts" are the only reason you are able to practice your medicine. All your other points are stupid. Men are more likely to be violently assaulted then women. Sure, we don't have to worry about rape. I had a male friend that was roofied, so that does happen. So explain how now is not a bubble but 2000 and 2008 were? The economy was already declining before the virus hit. Not sure how closely you follow the markets, but just look at the Repo market from last year. It was a sign of a broken market. We are still in a bubble. Compare prices of 2008 to now. We are in a bigger bubble now and we have lower interest rates and higher FED balance sheet. So lower interest rates won't work this time, unless they go negative. The laws will never change unless the entire system collapses. Women are the majority of voters, and most politicians just want votes and will pander to them. Its hard for me to say how this will effect society long term. We evolved in tribes of 150 people, where the alphas were a couple guys everyone knew. Now the alphas are the top 10% of the entire planet because woman have access to them through social media, tinder, etc. My hope is that technology continues to get better, so more beta men can be freed from feeling the need for a real woman.
/r/MGTOW224/01/20 06:39 PM

If you want to go with the pack analogy, a pack needs an alpha. But the alphas are still pumping and dumping and leaving single mothers. We are the betas that won't support the alpha and their seed. Without the betas, the alpha and the women will not survive forever. Colttaine did a cool video on this recently. I highly recommend it.

Plenty of sites have POV content, or you can just watch normal content on a VR screen. Netflix has an app for VR where you are in a virtual theater watching the movie on a big screen. I have to agree. While I was devastated in my divorce, I have to stop and think how much would I pay for my boys? The answer is there is really no limit. I would pay with my life. It's totally irrational, but now that I have kids I wouldn't want to live in a world without them. But I also warn my boys to never ever get married. I got lucky in that I got 50/50 custody. But what if I could only see my kids once a month or not at all like some guys? It might drive me insane.

Wouldn't a truly free society with minimal government (not a democracy) accomplish the same thing? Marriage would be between a man, woman and their tradition. The government would not be involved. If you the mormons want multiple wives then so be it. If the hindus want to arrange marriage, so be it. If women were not guaranteed the support of the government, wouldn't they naturally seek to rely on a man to support her and her children?

You can't really call Democrats corrupt since they are just doing what their voters want them too. The left doesn't give a shit about small businesses. Yea, what is feminine? Pink is just a color. My oldest son is really into legos and he also likes the lego sets that are in the "girls" area of the toy store. The only real difference is the bright colors. I just warn my son that if he wears pink and has a pink bike, people might assume he is a girl. Doesn't help that he has long blonde hair. But he just says, "yea, I don't care what they say." That makes me happy. That's what makes this whole kids going trans thing crazy. Even if a boy likes to…

Kind of sounds like the broken window fallacy. The more men that are slaves the better for society? Society isn't going to be better with more redistribution of wealth. My response will probably be pretty controversial and you can downvote me if you want, but alcohol really helped me through the worst of my loss of meaning period. I lost my faith in religion and then my wife left me all within a short time. It felt like the rug of meaning and purpose were suddenly ripped out from under me and I was in a free-fall of nihilism. My brother suffered from migraines until he figured out what foods were the triggers. Sucks he can't have a lot of things. Gluten is a huge aggrivator for him. He can't have nuts, dairy, coffee, wine, etc. Its a long list. But he has been migraine free for 5 years. If I was in your shoes I would do a 30 day elimination diet. Only eat ground beef, salt and water for 30 days (r/zerocarb) . See how you feel and then slowly start to add back foods.

Its a little more complicated then that. Restaurant's are not that profitable and most of them fail. Some restaurants have tried to get rid of tips, but they have to raise prices in order to pay a decent wage. The average restaurant owner makes a salary in the neighborhood of $60,000 per year. I know bartenders that make more then that on tips alone.

Yea, I was including SS. But you could make a case that it is not really welfare. The reason I think of it as welfare is because of the way it is set up. Its not like your money is sitting in a savings account earning interest. The government is taking your money and giving it to older people. In order for the system to be there when you are older, they need a supply of young people working and paying SS. I still think of it as wealth distribution.

I would put it a little different based on what I have researched. Men want to fuck as many women as possible and have a wide range of attraction. Women want to fuck the top 20% of males and will even share that man with other women if she can get impregnated by him. In other words, females evolved to choose males prudently and mate with only one superior male; males evolved to mate indiscriminately with as many females as possible. Trivers believed that this pattern is true for the great majori…

I know you are a lawyer so I should know that you would take "all the money" completely literal. I meant the household bread winner. And I was also referring to cases with property to divide that would be considered unfair. If there is no property to divide, then why bring it up, right? So I could say the majority of cases where there are assets to divide, the person who made most of the contributions to martial property does not receive that same percentage back during a divorce and will also n…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/19 05:45 PM
2

Ok, guess we live in different countries where the norms are different. In the US, the statistics would agree with me. Equitable property states usually favor the person who contributed "less" to the martial property. So you can get a prenup that states the other person has no access to the others money they earn at their job? If so, I did not know that.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/19 05:27 PM
2

So what is your idea of fair? That no matter who made the money during the marriage, the other person can just decide at any time to divorce and take half that money? And then the one who has been making all the money has to pay child support on top of that. That is the norm that I see, but that doesn't seem fair at all. A prenup "might" protect you before the marriage, but does very little to protect you if you saved during the marriage.

/r/MGTOW218/04/19 02:59 PM

Meant to reply to your comment where you said most settle for less, including men. But I think the data shows that women think they are settling, and most men don't. Might help explain why most women file for divorce.
/r/MGTOW218/04/19 02:51 PM

The flip side to this equation that is not mentioned in this article is that men rate women's attractiveness pretty evenly on a bell curve. Most women are average with a few below and a few above. So an average guy is not settling if he is average. But most women who are average think they are above average. So the woman thinks she is settling, while the guy thinks he found his match. Hypergamy is not about looks. I keep seeing people say that men are also Hypergamous because they want to be with attractive people. We all want to be with attractive people. What is a "classical" marriage? That is just a marriage. What you are describing is a relationship, but not a marriage. A marriage is a contract with your wife and with the government. Usually also accompanied by a religious contract. There are a lot of people that are good contributions to my life, but I don't make life long contracts with them. Did you not vow til death do us part? For better or for worse?

You might be right that incels will never go for it, I've never been one, but I think there is a large segment of men who are tired of chasing and trying to please women. They have had relationships and decided the Juice isn't worth the squeeze. Things like this just make it easier for them to go their own way. I used to feel shame for jacking off, until I realized this was just women and religion trying to shame men for something that is good and normal.

I think a sufficiently advanced AI could fulfill that need. Just watched HER again and I think having real relationships with AI will be a thing. Star Trek also had episodes where real people developed feelings for Holodeck characters. I imagine a time will come when an AI can mimic a famous person in VR so you can have conversations etc with them. That will easily extend to love relationships. People already get attached to robots.

One of my plans is to buy a Van and travel around, having my own adventures. But one of those 4x4 RV vans, like the Revel. I don't know if I'll bring a dog though.

I don't know if your username means you are fan of Ayn Rand or not, but here is a good quote: “Man must choose his actions, values and goals, by the standard of that which is proper to man — in order to achieve, maintain, fulfill and enjoy that ultimate value, that end in itself, which is his own life.” You said that self improvement was never enough to get a relationship. But the end result of your growth and life should not be a relationship. It should be you. The relationships may or may not …

My divorce isn't final yet, but I have a feeling it will be similar for me. I don't plan on dating. My boys are pretty drama free. Sure, they fight and get hurt, but they cry it out and forget about it a second later. The only drama comes from my STBX. It's easier to talk things out with my 10 year old than it with her.

My ex is from Poland, so I spent some time there. I know the salaries are lower, but so is the cost of living. I think you could still make it work. There are people that retired early in the US on 40k a year in High COL areas. They were frugal as hell, but they did it. I don't know anything about investing in Europe, so I can't help you there. But don't give up. Maybe there are higher interest CDs in Euro that you can invest in?

Have you looked into r/financialindependence? Basically you work your ass off in your 20s, live very frugal, invest in the market. By your early 30s you should have enough money to either quit or do something that pays less but is more enjoyable. Will be even easier if you are mgtow and not wasting dollars on women.

I am a member of the FI subs also, although I use a different username. You are completely correct. I used to spend a lot of time there when I first learned about FIRE. But now its a lot of repetition. Same with the ChooseFI podcast. But its good to read about and listen from time to time to get motivated, or help those who are just discovering this. As for MGTOW being boring, I am sure it will be. But it is brand new to me. I just heard this term a month ago when I was watching the red pill doc…

I was watching "the promise" a few nights ago. Your post reminded me of this line: Mikael Boghosian: God help me, I want revenge. Ana: I don't care. Hey, our revenge will be to survive.

Couldn't agree more. I can't stand all the woman bashing that goes on in other subs. Some of it is funny, but it gets boring. I usually hate judging individuals by the groups they belong in. I hate identity politics. Yes, I was driven to mgtow lifestyle by the actions of a women, but there are still women in my life that I love (my mom) and that I respect (shocker!). I just don't want to marry them or live with them. I also find a lot of men to be truly dumb assholes. But I don't automatically a…

I'm looking at this from a logical perspective first, and also from a religious perspective. So two opposing perspectives? Women pay less in car insurance, and I am sure this is based on statistics, not emotions, since insurance companies are motivated by profit. It makes sense to me, since men are more risk tolerant and more likely to drive drunk. Personally I think 95% of people on the road should have their license revoked, but first all those a-holes that don't use their turn signals.

There is also almost always a demand for nurses. There is expected to be even more demand has baby boomers retire. You can get a nursing degree in 2-3 years at a community college for not that much money. You can take out a school loan too because this is one career where you can pay it back no problem. Nurses can make bank and you can pretty much work where ever you want. You can even work your way up and get a masters in Nursing. You could be making 6 figures in 10 years. Save 50% of your inco…

I am keeping the house and she is moving out, so I am just waiting until she finds a place. I was told not to move out because it looks bad for custody issues. I just stay in my home office. I have a little bed in there. I try not to be in the kitchen when she is in there. I have set up a couple cameras in the areas that I am mostly in. She doesn't seem like the type to falsely report me, but she gets crazy when things don't go her way. If she doesn't get the custody of the kids she wants I am a…

Actually those are 2 things that are driving a wedge between us. I have always been in shape, so that is not an issue. But more and more I don't put up with her shit, so she threatens divorce to try and get my attention. Like I said in my post, I would usually cave. And as another poster mentions, it seems like a total power play. I curious as to why you think she would find it more satisfying if I stood my ground?

Yea, we did counseling when we separated the first time. It seemed to help for a bit, but then my wife wanted to stop going and things deteriorated again after that.
