Agreed. After being single for a while I really just want to make a better life for myself. I don't hate women I just want to stay single in hopes of self empowerment, and I think thats what mgtow was all about.

I was basically banned for pointing out that the narrative of gays being a bunch of extremely left-wing pseudo-women is basically wrong (that's a small minority, I posted stats and everything. They generally vote Democrat, but it's about 60% that consider themselves "solid Democrats" and even among them, most agree with policies like Affordable Healthcare but not with the really crazy shit like completely opening the borders with no background checks). No response, no stats, no comments, just "You have been banned from participating in MGTOW"

Basically, for all their talk about snowflakes and how feminised and victimised society claims to be, they love to act like snowflakes when people with "wrong opinions" turn up.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Everyone in that sub are essentially slaves. How can you be free when you constantly post or think about women all freaking day either positively or negatively. How is that possibly free?

Disclaimer: I'm probably in the 1% where I'm married with an independent partner, no kids. We are both career focused working in the environmental sector (Me private; her government), earn similar amounts, keep our finances separate and split most things 50/50.

Lot of 'MGTOW's don't even know the oldschool guys, who laid down the foundations, especially on the other sub. If you want intellectual content, you could check out Thinking-ape, bar bar, Colttaine on youtube. The meme bullshit is actually quite irritating on the original sub

I used to like the wit of the sub. And the beauty of the lifestyle. But the recent posts seemed more like trash, that rubbed too hard to just be mgtow.(seemed more like incel behavior)

Everyone has different paths, I think both MGTOW boards serve their purpose. I wish this one was more active, but it is what it is. I think a lot of people have a lot of pent up rage and need a place to rant, and thats what the other MTOW board is for a lot of them.

I think r/MGTOW is good for when you are just realizing red pill truths, it is like a large dose of medicine quickly but once you have accepted those truths I don't think it is healthy to keep immersing yourself in it, as others have said at some point you actually want to move on and just start enjoying your life.

I myself have decided to start pulling back from the other sub, I don't think it is bad overall but not something I want to stay immersed in, I don't want to hate anyone, I just want to know the dangers I face so I can make appropriate decisions that don't put me at a disadvantage in life.

OP while I certainly sympathize with you, we had to make a rule that there is no talking about how other subs run their forums. Because focusing on that becomes a shit-show pretty quickly, (ahem, look at the comment section here)... I only have space for two mega-threads and one is for the banned from mgtow stories, and the other is the sub rules.

The goal here is to focus on yourself and how mgtow is helping you in that.
