Nope she can’t afford a lawyer but wants 1k a month for 5yrs,half the house, and her paid off car. She hasn’t had a job in 10 months but she moved in free with her family initially but decided to get an apartment after getting a boyfriend 1 1/2 months after she moved from our house. We have no kids and only married 7 years. You’d think she put her energy into the new guy at this point lmao.

The house has zero equity, I owe more than my car worth, and her car is paid off and my cards have no equity. We essentially have no assets so her getting 50-50 would benefit me, which is why I don’t understand.

I did speak to one. He recommended reaching out first. The thing is us splitting the debt makes no sense since she can’t afford that and she’s already on the title of the house that has no equity. I’m willing to take the debt including the house for her to have a paid off car. If we end up going 50/50 it’s a worse deal for her and my income can’t be used since it’s VA benefits and I’m not working 30September. I’m not mad just confused because she has a good deal I’m giving her. Me taking the deb…

I appreciate you so much. I don’t know if Capital one does it, but at least I know what to try. Thank you so much!

You did this through Capital one? Does that mean every time you try to reset the password you have to verbally verify?

Yeah, I’m just tired of her harassing me. My aunt told her to cease contact and just try to get that lawyer, but she keeps somehow logging into Capital one and changing my passwords just to get to me. Once I pay off those two credit cards. I’m closing it all out. I can’t trust Capital one. If I told her that she would’ve had a title. By now, she didn’t steal. Could that be misconstrued anyway during divorce?

I called the police department for the nonemergency line. They transferred me over to economics and that’s all they keep doing and every time I call they saved Will typically you’re still married. There’s nothing you can do so next week. I’m just gonna go in person to try to file that report. Capital did an investigation and they said I’m SOL because it looks like it was authorized. Even though I told him it wasn’t me who yelled her the money. Keep getting to ring around.

A fellow man with Captain Save A Hoe mentality as my sister tells me. Not worth the trouble.

Emotional beat down lol turns out I married someone with a sharp tongue like my mom. Now I’m free and just try to spread as much joy to everyone. Especially kids because they’re the future so if they see people aren’t garbage then hopefully they have an easy life and they don’t grow up to be garbage adults. I know it sounds mad but I try to see life as a half glass full these days and it’s been helping.

You’re telling me man I knocked out four things from my bucket list it to do it at a radio station and he helped me record to ad samples, started doing standup, lost like 42lbs. I’m doing things now that I wasn’t able to before because she didn’t want to do stuff.

I think so, I don’t regret it at all despite how it’s still ending.

I’m in Virginia unfortunately. Otherwise I totally would. I’ve been looking on USA jobs to find a position in Cali.

Funny, you say that only four minutes which helped me make an opening joke “ if you ask my ex-wife, that’s two minutes too long for me”

I appreciate it thank you which is crazy cause I was having an existential crisis driving on the way to do the open mic. I’ve always been a collective person never been stressed out, but for some reason, this made me so unhinged for a good 30 minutes it was such a relief that it worked out. I felt a weight off my shoulder

If interested, I have my Instagram attached to my Reddit profile. I’m gonna start doing it Mondays and Wednesdays. I have the one from yesterday. I’m excited because the place that I did stand up that they also do slam poetry and I figured I could use my past trauma to turn it into poems and then hopefully be inspired to create a joke out of it. They also do writing workshops and performance workshops so I’m really excited that I get to do that and work on it because he told me I was a natural, …

VA doesn’t really a legal separation process, how would that be an issue being separated and living separate states. Asking because she’s out west I’m east, do people really see it as an issue?

It’s not your job to make each other happy, you are just supposed to enhance it. You have to find what makes you happy. If you have any mental health issues such as anger or insecurities make sure you seek professional help in dealing with it and not drag.

That’s what I’m worried about. I don’t want it to get better and then worse we get along great as friends as soon as we’re in a relationship it’s just awful and toxic. I have a tendency to talk down to people when they sound unbelievably stupid or make no sense with their logic. Her insecurities make her say and do some really stupid things plus her family is another issue that causes me immense stress. All the reasons why I want to be separated and stay that way.

I don’t want to work it out because it won’t work out. My question is how do you ignore your feelings and continue with the logic and move on.

Your story hits close to home, no cheating or anything but just flat out drifted to 2 opposite people with nothing in common. There’s still love but it was best to end it before the toxicity of our clashing personalities ended the marriage in an ugly way. How long did it take to get used to it? She goes back home in a month and is still wanting to keep it normal like saying “I love you” kiss and sleep in same bed to take in as much as she can before leaving. So it’s rough because it’s going thro…
