Or- hear me out- let the royal family be dragged down and removed altogether

I’ve noticed men will lie about having children. If this is important to you, please vet for this!

What is scary to me is that if this can happen to a rich, white, thin, famous attractive woman, what is stoping it from happening to me? Or any one of us?

Yeah I wonder how much this really reflects reality. “Impulsively bought a dog that behaves well without training” could actually be, “I did tons of research about low maintenance dogs, interviewed seven breeders and five shelters, but didn’t ask my boyfriend for his opinion.”

They definitely took pics - or worse- got them directly from the bf.

Yeah, after they break up, she won’t be subsidizing his lifestyle anymore. Instead of sharing a $2,000 apartment, she’ll have roommates in a $1600 and he’ll be lying all $2,000 himself (I’m making up numbers here). She will be better off, and he will be worse off.

In my experience, they get caught in this pattern where they only see their own value in how men see them. So they never develop the skills to be truly independent and coast on the people around them. I’ve seen it work out where a pretty woman divorced a man and got half the company and is a millionaire. I’ve also seen it where a woman had children by a series of men an are discarded every few years. And as her beauty has withered, so has the quality of man she is able to pull so she now leeches…

I think LeBlanc would look younger if he sat up straight and dyed his hair. He may also be a bit heavier than typical for Hollywood. Notice all the women have great posture and most likely dyed hair. It makes a big difference.

I had a short relationship with a guy that didn’t see his kids anymore because of his ‘crazy ex wife’. After we broke up, I searched for him in court records and was horrified at what I found. So many pieces fell into place. Do the background check when you start dating.

Not a parent, but having bio children is far from selfish. You are still investing in the future of another person / set of people.

Same. When I went from a tomboy to presenting femme, my interactions with people changed rather dramatically. I got more attention from clerks, more people hitting on me, and so on.

It’s a Reddit rule. When you link to another sub, it tracks back to here so if a lot of people from here post about how their sub sucks, it is call brigading and is considered harassment. That can get a sub shut down.

Western air conditioning is set up to keep men wearing business suits comfortable- so it is too cold for most women. if a woman is giving you a hand job, that means you don’t have to do yourself. That is better than nothing, yeah? Also, it is easier to get a man off with hands only than mouth only, so it is also more work for the giver. Also can we not normalize giving handjobs at 14, please?!

I worked with one such ‘leftover’ woman that met and married an American Investment Banker. She was hot af, funny, and a wonderful hostess. How the hell was she not snatched up? Maybe because she didn’t put up with shit. Jokes on them, she is in America now with her rich husband.

My guess it is a negging / weeding technique. If the woman keeps responding to him, then she is showing that she’ll put up with his bullshit. It will likely make her feel insecure, too, and let him more easily sail past her boundaries.

My ex and I moved thousands of miles away from where we grew up. You know what my nvm ex did when I left him? He figured out someone else to leach onto. (She dumped his ass, too.) Not my problem anymore. Be gracious (to a point). Have tact. Walk away with your head held high so when you look back your only regret is that you didn’t know to do it sooner.

Great question. It could be that he ‘self radicalized’ - where he trained himself to be this way without meaning to. This might fall under your definition of education.

One of my nieces is a dork and 11 and developing early. Such a combination! I don’t think she has anyone around her that likes science like she does. I tell her she’ll find her people in college and/or in her career. I haven’t found my people, but I have found people that pay me well to do the things I’m good at. Move on until you find them!!

I was on keto and hiking with my boyfriend. I didn’t have enough electrolytes so I was exhausted on an uphill climb. A woman at the top of the hill waited twenty minutes for me to get to the top to make sure I was okay. I am really glad she was there for me.

I’m not sure anyone can answer what percentage of guys that are scum bags. I can say right now with covid makes dating (and thus FDS) skew a bit higher on male assholery. Why would I say that? If you aren’t able to meet new people in your day to day life, and you want to date, you turn towards online dating. In OLD, men can act lazy in ways they can’t around people they know. Asking a random woman for sex on OLD generally means that at the worst he’ll be blocked but at the best he’ll get sex. Sc…

In addition to the other great responses you’ve received, I would also turn it around- who cares if he wants you- do you even want him? Do you want a man that can’t understand your value and beauty and grace and talents and personality? Don’t worry about what he thinks of you, try to work out if you even like him.

Yeah dated two guys into video games. The second one made okay money but wanted to do nothing but work and play games. He had a 35 hour a week job and I worked 50 hours, minimum. I’d leave the apartment, he’d be asleep. Come home, he’s playing video games and doesn’t want to go out. Never again.

“ I have the book why men love bitches, and in it is says when you invite a guy over never cook.” I also followed her advice. My sister didn’t. Her husband expects three meals cooked a day. I almost never cook for my man (basically he gets cookies when he’s good). No ring on my finger so that’s how it will remain.

I love the love they have for everyone. I especially loved the one about the sisters that owned a barbecue. They were fabulous and the guys just drew it out of them. I really liked how they did that.

I also recommend her book for her take on how to handle it. She also advises to give the impression (only if it true of course!) that you are attracted but just not ready yet. So avoiding the situations where sex is easy is key. Don’t invite him over. Don’t go over to his place. But compliment him if you want.

Yeah the cooking and activity thing seems more like something you have to be fine with, forever. At least he’s honest with you when you ask. My sister has to cook almost every meal because her husband expect a hot meal three times a day. That’s what you’d be in for. He is terrible at the victim blaming though. Would he be okay with his wife or child being raped for merely existing? Plus someone can do all the “right things” and still be raped. Why are only perfect people allowed to have full rig…

There is a material difference between a partner who is in their late twenties versus their early twenties. I’m actually almost ten years younger than my partner but we met when I was 32. I had already lived on my own, had a degree, and so on. When I was 20 I was still living with family having only worked shitty jobs. I was actually dating another man when I met my partner. The other guy was a much older man who wanted me to quit my job and live with him. I knew enough by 32 to nope out of that…

Seems to me that she will be more successful at finding a better man if she is single. She is overweight, but doesn’t say by how much. Let’s assume she’s very overweight. There is still a man out that that will treat her like a queen. Will the same number of men be lining up to audition if she were normal weight? Nope, but she only needs one man, not a hoard. She is ill. That isn’t a deal breaker to most men if she is on maintenance mode. After all, we all get sick sometime. She has emotional ba…

He was not a great partner to you, but I’m not sure you are in a place where you can have a healthy relationship even now. I recommend that you focus on yourself for at least a year and discover what you want to achieve in the next few years. Go to school? Work towards a specific career? This will help you set better boundaries next time (“No, I can’t do x because I have to [work on achieving a goal]”. There is a lot going on here. You say men don’t approach you, but that may not be related to your supposed stiffness. It could be that you don’t appear to be open to advances. Do you make eye contact and smile at men that you find appealing? That is one sign men use to approach you. Also when you say “stiff,” do you mean by posture or by personality? Either way, I’m not sure that is something you need to change. If you are stiff, it may be that you are uncomfortable with the situation. If so, th…
