Dude. Stop trying to have a baby with someone who either has said they don’t know if they want to be with you or you have a feeling that they want to leave. I would be completely honest with her and say “listen the whole baby thing is 100% off the table until we figure us out”. Then I would ask her to be 100% honest with you. Tell her how you feel about her. If you still love her tell her that. If you don’t tell her that. Don’t tip toe around trying to be political about it. Relationships fail b…

I’d move back in stay in a separate room. Take the kids for a fun weekend. Mom isn’t there with you guys cause she had some adult things to take care of. Then enjoy time with your kids. As far as counseling. Ask her to be honest, does she want to go to fix your marriage? If she doesn’t WANT to fix your marriage then don’t go. However that requires here to be honest with you. I would ask for the raw truth and nothing else prior to going and wasting your time and money.

Ok. Do you want to live in your house or no? Depending on the complexity of your divorce and how nice she wants to be. Your proceedings could take a year or even longer. Do you want no access or little access to the home during this time? If so, then no need to move back. If you want to use the home and have free movement from and back to it. I suggest moving back in during the weekend. She can call the police they won’t do anything (since you were gone a week). If she doesn’t want to be there t…

Dude there’s a lot going on here. I really feel like people on here are giving you very very very bad advice. I think most are also going through divorce right now and are coming from a place of anger. My divorce has been finalized for almost 4 years. So that shitshow is way in the mirror. What I can say is this and I really do hope you take it into consideration 1) Don’t leave your house unless it is what you truly want to do. Don’t leave the house with the hope by you “playing nice” she will r…

Anytime a ultimatum is made is 100% a red flag. You should speak about this with her. That is completly unfair to you. In all honesty it’s a form of mental abuse.

Well first you need to have trust. Know this person cares about you as a human being. Whether you have any level of wealth or not. Statistics don’t mean shit when it comes to a personal relationship. If you know the person for the real them and they love you for the real you. No one is trying to trick themselves or the other person. There’s nothing to worry about. Of course marriage is a gamble. Not to sound unromantic but it is a business transaction to a point. I lost money in the past but all…

Sounds like sex is a control tool for her. I would ask when she is cold is it because there’s nothing in it for her? For example doing something for you? Is she sweet after you’ve done something for her. And that’s the inly time she’s sweet. Personally. If your having to ask a bunch of random divorced dudes if getting married is a good idea. I think you answered the question yourself bud. Don’t do it

Blame feminism and dead beat dads. Almost all women who will give up on marriage quickly fall into one of these two categories. I don’t mean to sound like a dick but it’s true. There’s still old fashioned women out there. That believe in loyalty and gender norms. I found one myself. Just keep lookin fellas. Gotta sort through the trash to find the gold

Women lol. Fuck it let me have it. Enjoy staring at it while daydreaming about your favorite rom com as if that’s how true life is lol. Odds are she’s wearing the thing like jewelry. Or she pawned it for 10% of that you paid for it. I never understood why my ex wife would want something that I paid for. And then act like it was hers when the whole reason she ever had it was for a marriage. Call me insane but I would give whatever back if I was the woman in this case. Fuck em man. Just another re…

Divorced no kids myself. Haven’t spoken to her since the agreement was finalized 3 years ago. DONT REMAIN FRIENDS. She doesn’t truly want that anyhow. Block her. Don’t talk to her family. And if you have mutual friends keep anything you wouldn’t want her knowing out of your mouth when around them.

We all make mistakes. Sounds like you made a few yourself. Now is the time to reflect and learn from them. Fuck the 10 grand. I walked away from a hell of a lot more than that for my peace of mind. Can’t buy peace of mind. Hit the reset button. Calll your parents in the states. Explain the situation. Call a friend in the states explain the situation. Borrow the money if you have to. Just get the hell out of there. Grab your clothes and things you NEED for when your back state side and go. I’d tr…

Not illegal. If you have a good lawyer and a lengthy divorce they will let you know what to keep quiet on. Example speaking with the kids if “parenting issues” would be brought to the trial. Good example. Wife claimed husband beat the child. Whether true or not. Speaking to the child about it would be very off putting to a judge should they hear about it. Even if you said nothing at all one way or another

This guy may be a large firm lawyer but there are plenty of lawyers out there who work off a flat fee. Many times that flat fee is based off how much they think they will have to work. If you have small finances together. No real estate. Then it may be the correct and cheapest way to go with a flat fee lawyer. Paying $350 an hour for a lawyer who won’t be available 24/7 and get back to you phone calls and emails 3 business days later is kind of ridiculous. Don’t let a suit rob you blind while yo…

Do you have kids? Was she a stay at home wife based off agreements you made? If she is healthy and able to work and you don’t have any kids together. She won’t get any type of post marital financial support from you. If a judge granted that it would be the first I’ve ever heard of such a thing.

Nah it’s a gift in the eyes of the law. She can keep it if she wants to. You gotta love the mindset of some women lol. At this point just move on. I lost mine too. I looked at it as one of the reasons I was given a favor by her divorcing me. She was petty lol. Just say f it and go on

Bro there’s being sorry then there’s being a fool. She has every right to want a divorce for you cheating on her. No dispute there, but your gonna give her 60% of your income for 6 years? Why?!? I would talk to a lawyer. If anything I could see you being sorry and wanting to make sure she was on good footing starting over, so writing her a check for 20k or something. But man. You gotta love yourself still brotha!

Look for a family lawyer. I would use the criminal lawyer as a witness should “abuse” come up in the trial of your divorce. Your divorce attorney would agree with this

Technically no you would be breaking the law if you decided to smash a window to get in. I wouldn’t advise that you do it though. Choice 1: tell her you are coming to get a few of your things laptop, clothes, etc. Ask for a time that will work for her. If she doesn’t play nice then I’d just go over when she is there. She can’t keep you out. Be civil and knock on the door (if she’s crazy record this). If she won’t let you in call your police departments local number, not 911. Explain the situatio…

The first step of removing yourself completely from your exes life is hard. Trust me I know. You’ll have days where it pops in your head “I wonder what she is doing” and trust me she has those thoughts too. By removing these things from your life though those thoughts will become less frequent. Till one day months will go by and you’ll stop and go whoa, I’ve been happy and enjoying myself and not once has she popped in my head. I’m so proud of myself for how far I’ve come along. Then those month…

I think you know deep down the answer to your own question bro. It’s like a druggie keeping his old needle around or something. To remanence about the old times, cuz it was part of you (whether good or bad). BUT For us to become the person we want to become in the future. Sometimes we have to cut off all the strings from the past that are holding us from moving down the road to recovery and true happiness. Take a day or so. Allow your feelings to come through. Be true to yourself as to why you s…

If your a man. 100% get a male attorney. Do not get a female. I’m not going to go into the reasons. I’ll sum it this way. You want a bro on your side. Also if your divorce is simple (having a few consultations with a few lawyers will give you the answer to this). Find a flat fee lawyer. That way if your wife goes crazy sending motion after motion you don’t have to pony up any additional money. People I know who are men (and especially if their wife is a bitch and they had a child) have been comp…

Would depend on the circumstances they were in prior to divorce starting. Stay at home mom with no career. Then yeah probably he would pay something. Two people with no kids and both have jobs. Then probably not. Really up to the judge. But if kids are not in the picture she is grasping at straws if she thinks he will have to pay her any kind of support during or after the divorce.

He doesn’t have to sell the house lol. The judge will determine how much equity is in the house. Your lawyer (and hers) will provide all needed documents for the judge to determine the equity value. And how much of it is solely one person and how much is a 50/50 share. At that point. Judge will asks your lawyers is there a agreement on who will keep the house. If the agreement is your friend. Then judge will even out “marital assets with that in mind”. Example. House equity valued at $100k. Judg…

Have you filed yet? If so you lawyer will demand her bank records in the discovery phase. Keep the texts you have from her too (those can be used if needed). She can either pay you back now or a judge will make her do it and at the same time consider her a liar for the rest of the trial lol. Gotta love it. Your fine if you have patience my friend.

I would say that if you started it AFTER your divorce paperwork filing was given to the court (both parties signed the initial service) AND! You no longer share expenses of any kind or share bank accounts. Then I would say your spouse would have no right to it. Although (and especially if children are involved), you could have to report earnings to the court as it would be part of your income. But if you meet paragraph one and have no kids. No self respecting judge would ever consider giving you…

How long did the two of you live in the house together prior to your marriage and what state do you live in? If bought when married using funds (down payment from bank account you both contribute to) then you have as much a legal right to the house as her. If she bought it prior to marriage. You would have to give up equity in term of down payment she made and any principle on the mortgage that was paid off prior to marriage. After that your entitled to a 50/50 split of the rest of the equity. H…

Thanks brother. Yes I was naive. But through some consoling of my own. I was able to figure out that I had a few issues of my own to work out. At the same time I fell for a narcissist. Thanks for sharing your story brother. Yes, it really does leave scars when someone who claims to love you is willing to turn in a flash and take everything from you. For those that have dealt with that, it’s not so easy. I don’t think people who have a mutual decision to divorce and have a mutual agreement on how to split things will ever understand. Again I think some men on here have a disillusion of what to expect from a woman. I don’t and never did want a house wife and/or trophy wife. I wa…

You are entitled to go after damages if she has incurred debt in both your names once the divorce papers were served to her. Especially if it is debts that would not normally have been taken on while you were married. Also look over your divorce papers. It’s fairly normal for there to be a restraining order on your shared finances. Meaning she can’t use funds shared by you guys as leverage to additional debt, or anything other than to simply live (rent/mortgage, food, gas, etc). I would bring th…
