I care about why the person restraining/hurting the recipient is doing it.

One is sex and the other is sport. I care about anyone who is sexually stimulated by violence and/or helplessness.

I am against moral relativism.

Idc about the "quirky" ones. I would care about the employment one because I would not trust an authority figure who was sexually stimulated by power imbalance, ESPECIALLY one whose fantasies revolved around that profession.

I recall Eric Harris having fantasies of overpowering girls, which certainly seems dominant.

Some choices are bad.

I find it interesting the way that people talk about red flags and boundaries and then put the onus on the recipient to stay safe ("communicate"), rather than for the other person to not do that. Yes, "vanilla" sex can be rape too. Bondage is power imbalance. That matters because that's one of the main ways for women to rape men.

Depending on your location, you could be prosecuted based on two-party consent law.

Sounds "vanilla" to me. Yes, "vanilla" people can commit IPV too. The point stands that having existing physical injuries that are allegedly consensual makes it hard to believe that more evidence of the same thing would mean it was bad this time...somehow.

There are 3 sexualities: hetero, bi, homo. Kink is a form of sexual expression, which is a choice.

I made some good points about violent kink hurting people and damaging the credibility of IPV victims in the eyes of law enforcement

Taboo + never having to actually experience it + if he were from a trailer park it would be a Criminal Minds episode

Those comparisons both fall short because one is a sport, which is not sex, and the other is about sexuality, which is innate.

That thing I said about physical injury and being disbelieved by the cops in the event of IPV, among other things

I really think that that's a subset of women.

The "perfect boyfriend" explanation was put forth. No access to other women No access to her; she comes to him He's mysterious and dangerous The thrill of taboo

Those are very realistic examples. Pulling the hair a little too hard and that happens. An S.O. turning violent outside of kink sessions can lead to those kink sessions being used as evidence against a victim. I am already distrustful of anyone who endorses those practices.

It could be emulation of family dynamics, it could be bait-and-switch by those men with those men acting charming in the beginning, or perhaps those women have similar personalities and are drawn to aggression. All sorts of reasons. That's why I posted this list to break up the first time.

Hm? Oh you mean the guy? I meant to feel like he belonged and had someone to support him.

Idk about benefit when I used specific examples, such as herniated discs and disbelief by law enforcement toward claims of IPV because of involvement in kink, as evidence of harm.

Hm? I made the 2 statements, the one about "dominance and submissiveness" (implied male-on-female), and then the one about jokes about women screaming and hitting men in private, to cover both. Yea. Yea.

I...made the point that the makeup has to come off at some point.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/22 08:06 AM

Makeup can emulate the idealized female face, and still, it has to come off at some point.

I think that would be women with guns who can shoot from the hip. Agency. It remains inescapable that some women will end up with cruel men.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/22 07:35 AM

Er...all the more reason to get a flimsy one, I suppose...I really do think that cultural forces push men toward violence to assert social order (the whole Will Smith controversy), and for women to be more passive...

I don't see most people choosing against monogamy when it's the template

"One of the worst things to do is to use labels for yourself, good or bad. If good, then you will have to try to prove that forever, and risk falling apart for falling short. If bad, then there's no reason to try." Irdk how to explain better than that.

I made the point of the pills being reductive because of the whole "proving one's worth" bit (and I avoided pinning that on the red pill to prevent controversy).

I think that has a lot to do with women being taught to suppress their anger, and as evidence of that there are any number of words that they're called for expressing it (see also: "hysteria", prefix hyster- meaning uterus, so named for the debunked condition of the wandering womb). It would be my preference to be with a guy that posed little physical threat to me because he would statistically be the biggest risk.

Hardly. Attractiveness exists independently of makeup.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/22 07:01 AM

...Ok...the point I was making was that in prehistory, having lots of sex with other people would mix up bloodlines...so I think monogamy was the natural model to prevent half-sibling mix-ups...

"There's zero intelligent men that would call their makeupless girlfriends/wives, ugly." This is all that matters.

If attractive women are still attractive without makeup, then it's redundant. If unattractive women are unattractive after removing makeup, then it's pointless. I made a point against plastic surgery because a woman's children would look like her before picture. I provided several areas of improvement for appearance for women: hair, skin, teeth, weight, fashion, attitude.

I said there's objective attractiveness (genetic) and that's separate from makeup, so making fun of makeupless women is ???

I feel like Spongebob and Patrick singing that song, "Now That We're Men," because I'm a woman lol

I think men can wash dishes and change diapers...also weapons are much more reliable than hand-to-hand combat. I get the point about biology and still, we must adapt.

Say that to your wife's face when they take off her makeup to monitor her vital signs during delivery.

I think giant height differences are ridiculous. There are definitely short men that are "pocket princes." Who knows what the "short king" trend will do in the long-term for short men. I personally find young Michael J. Fox to be the most attractive out of any man.

Intensity can be established with rhythm. Ask what the other person wants. I am so tired of "attentive" being conflated with "dominant."

Idk, the mundane can make for a decent family man. That's what matters.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/22 04:33 AM

What I meant was around the same height (+/- 4 inches as you said). I am a woman.

I mean it's hard to protect the family if the young men are off with their own/other families so that too.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/22 03:29 AM

I mean the major point I was making yet forgot to state explicitly was the issue of half-siblings. Half-siblings, with a greater risk of inbreeding disorders than 1st cousins, would have unwittingly reproduced. Parentage matters.

Providing for those kids would require a strong biological family, which I suppose makes sense. Vanishingly few people attempt polygamy, and I suppose that could also be a point to you as well because long-term commitment wouldn't be required. Still, one must explain the sense of attachment that one feels to sexual partners.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
