I understand there's no shade. I'm not much of a fan :) To me, I feel like what I'm hearing is a different version of "Girls are catty and don't get along" Also, Debby and Josh split at one point, and nobody was hating on Debby.

Are you talking about twenty one pilots? IDK if I agree with the thinly veiled hate thing. That's kind of a weird thing to say. I think people just genuinely like Jenna.

I dunno about this. The role of therapist isn't just one of authority, but of deep connection, trust, and vulnerability as well. If a man can only be 100% comfortable opening up to another man unless it's his wife, I understand it.

On the flip side, sometimes it's a bummer that a lot of women I meet believe in astrology or crystals. I'm aspiritual, atheist, and a non-believer in most things metaphysical. I wouldn't look down on anyone that is the opposite, and I love hanging out with my spiritual or witchy friends, but I struggle to connect with them on a deeper level sometimes. More men share these important views with me than women. Kind of a bummer cuz men suck

Ah ok, I see. In that case, here's my advice: For nine months now, I've been official with a man who's probably HV. I can't be 100% though, because we've only been together nine months. He's been wonderful so far. I met him on Tinder. He offered a coffee date first. All I said was "Coffee dates are so stale!" This was a very deliberate response. My only reply was conveying my distaste for coffee. I didn't ask that he change it. I didn't explicitly let him know I had higher standards. This is cal…

I agree! I offhandedly mentioned to my HV boyfriend that I wanted to go back to school and get a degree. The next weekend I saw him, he showed me a spreadsheet he made of what my entire 4 year schedule could be. Including taking less classes in the summer, and easier classes towards my final semesters. He's always doing small and big things like this to support me. I love him :)

I never allowed it. I would always tell them I'd give them my number after the first date if it went well. Any man worth going on a date with never had a problem with it.

This reminds me of my LVM ex-fwb, who invited me over with a "You can come if you want." I decided that wasn't good enough, but then his (male) cousin messaged me enthusiastically saying he wants me to come! I told the ex-fwb "Okay, I'll come, but only because your cousin asked me." He FLIPPED out. He started writing in all caps, swearing at me, saying that was bullshit, and then he ignored me the whole night. looooool he was mad

I was at a new friend's apartment, having a couple's night. We had all drank a bit, and then suddenly, my friend's live-in boyfriend accidentally knocked over his drink. My friend, his girlfriend, immediately got up and got a towel to wipe it up. We had just been talking about respect, so her boyfriend said "I don't respect you for cleaning up my mess" She said "That's not funny." So sad. She's so smart and funny and respectable, and he's a loser. That night she told me that she was the one who …

Definitely not. And now, the copper IUD barely bothers me and my periods aren't any worse than they were before. The doctor told me I have a very small uterus. It took about a week to stop feeling pain, but now that 2 months have passed, the only side effect I have is periods that last longer than usual. I'm expecting that to fade. I have no regrets, the pain was totally worth it, and I'm so glad I don't have any hormones in my body and I don't have to worry about getting pregnant.

It should be easy. There should be no effort from your end. Steering him in the right direction should be a breeze. If they don't immediately offer a better date after you express your disinterest, move on.

I had the copper IUD implanted recently. My boyfriend asked to give me a ride to the appointment. Afterwards, I couldn't move or do anything except exist in the pain. He left me on his bed while he sat in the other room as I drifted in and out of sleep. I asked for a heated rice sock, and every hour or so, I would wake up and the rice sock wouldn't be warm enough, so I'd moan his name and he'd come running to heat it up again. He wet a rag to put on my face. I also have a blurry memory of seeing…

Both of my previous boyfriends wanted to get married ASAP. One said it 2 months in, the other said it 5 months in. It spooked me. I knew they weren't the ones, and I left both of them soon after their declaration. My current boyfriend, I would love to marry. And if he doesn't propose within 1 to 2 years, I'm out.

Wow, reading these stories makes me realize I got lucky. Boys tormented me in gradeschool. For being tall, for being hairy, for being loud and obnoxious. I would skip school to avoid it. They loved to call me "Sasquatch" and yell it when they saw me. I still despise that word. My mom was Pickmeisha for sure. But I only contracted a mild case of pickme, and upon discovering this sub at 22 yrs old, completely eradicated any pickme left inside. Could've been a lot worse.

Within 3 dates, my HVM was taking me to all of his friend's gatherings and introducing me to everyone he knew. Within 3 months, I met his entire family (except his grandparents, who I will have to wait a long time to see now bc of covid). Now we have been dating for 6 months and he treats me like a queen. One of my past "friends with benefits" took months and months to introduce me to his friends. Turns out, he didn't even actually like me that much.

Dude, Cole Sprouse is an extreme LVM. I'm happy to hear he's an activist, but he Cheated on Lili Reinhart Photographs beautiful women as a side project, obviously just to get in their pants One of his ex gfs, Bree Morgan, said this made her very uncomfortable, as he continued to have private risque photography sessions with random models while in a relationship with her That same ex-gf has accused him of emotional abuse, gaslighting, and manipulation He would NOT share his money with Bree Morgan…

YES to the last line. Pickmeishas will put up with all sorts of shit from their LVM but go bananas at another woman online trying to help them.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/04/20 11:21 PM

Exactly. If I didn't like men, I wouldn't be dating them. What, am I going to date a man I hate and am not attracted to? That's what LVM do. They date women they hate and aren't attracted to. I either don't date, or I'm happy while dating. Isn't that the point of female dating strategy?

The point is that she has to force him, and he's resisting. Like a mother/child dynamic. He's not letting her help if she has to "make him" and take "baby steps" and hand him the face wash in the shower and say "ok here u go honey now make sure you use this! I know u didn't last time"
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/04/20 10:11 PM

The point is that she has to force him, and he's resisting. Like a mother/child dynamic. I do judge someone who willfully has bad skin even after their partner has pleaded with them to do something about it and shown them how. Trust me, I'm not one to judge someone for having acne. I've struggled my whole life. That's not what the issue is

I'm half addressing men, and half addressing women. I don't make it at all clear though, that I'm addressing women. Really, I want this post to make it so women don't feel so scared to join FDS. And so that men go away and work on themselves. I totally get what you're saying though. And I mostly agree.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/04/20 04:47 AM
11

No, I'm not saying to lack gratitude. Being ungrateful is an ugly look on anyone. Being grateful =/= singing a man's high praises and being extra for baseline behavior. I'm using your words here. Extra. More than necessary. Him being nice is baseline, you being grateful for it is also baseline. He did not do more than necessary, so why are you? And yes, I love men.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/04/20 03:00 AM

This sub is getting overrun by pickmeishas who haven't fully understood the concept behind FDS yet. It's worrisome.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/04/20 02:49 AM

Yes, it's nice. Nice is the bare minimum. Doing extra in exchange for the bare minimum is not FDS. It's pickmeisha behavior. Do extra for extra.

36

if she was so attached why did she dump his ass lol
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/04/20 07:12 PM

That would be the ideal usage, but LVM are abundant and 80% of men probably, so it's just being used to describe any man that chases a woman. Men aren't going to have the decency to use it to shame other men who thirst after/love bomb women. That wouldn't be to their advantage!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/04/20 10:33 PM
16

Yeah, this is some patronizing shit to the bull lol. "There's a difference between 'Hey I hope you're having a good day' and 'Hey cutie how's it going wanna hang out at my place'" Does he think women are stupid?

I had a wonderful time on Tinder. Swiped and messaged very strategically, went on dates with 6 different men over the course of two months, found a great boyfriend who I've been dating for two months and is most likely a HVM (still evaluating ofc).
