Of course I did, right after sending the screenshot to my groupchat.

I mentioned in a comment above, I was talking about an exam I have tomorrow. I wasn't talking about it in general.

The end of the conversation went exactly like this: "Oh, I get that, although I tend to end up on PH lmao" (Hoping that it's not what I think it is, like no normal person would say something like this, right? Right?) "PH?" "You know, black and orange youtube" I hate Tinder, I really do.

That's another huge red flag, if you're embarrassed about your partner that's just... What's even the point? Been there though, I completely understand.

Don't be ashamed, be proud that you aren't that way anymore and that you can recognize your past behaviours and learn from them.

A person can actually become desensitized to tasing, so if you get the wrong guy it might mean absolutely nothing. Meanwhile, pepper spray can blind another person for at least a few minutes, make them hurt, and since it's focused on the eyes, mouth, and the general area of the face they won't be able to ignore it.

I was just about to say the same thing. "I want to rip into them," well, there is a way to do that politely while still expressing that what the coworkers are doing is not okay. But sure, good job buddy for having these thoughts.

An addition to this: the guy who thinks he will be seen as creepy is most likely absolutely awful at reading social cues.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/03/21 08:26 AM

And if they don't understand social cues? Good for you, you just missed out on a guy who doesn't know how proper social situations work, therefore you won't have to deal with a ton of embarrassing situations. If a guy can't get the hint after something like this, you don't want him.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/03/21 05:18 PM

I'm wondering what could be said if the guy outright asks though. Depending on the tone and style it might be enough to dump them completely, but I can see some circumstances where it could be a normal question.

I love how these people didn't even get a single reply that would be along the lines of "These are the reasons why..." or "Here is a post that very clearly portrays the toxicity of this sub...". You would think that out of the 20 people downvoting there would be at least one that could help them, but oh well.

That's what I was thinking. She might say she's 15 but a grown man should still have enough of a spine to not do shit like this. Also, no 13 year old looks mature enough.

Right? There was also recently a post on r Entitledbitch about FDS. Basically a screenshot of a woman who isn't willing to put up with a man who can't even plan a date (because you should just accept last-minute ideas and split checks, yeah right). I mean... Sure, there are plenty of abusive women as well. There's just one teeny-tiny difference when it comes to the matter of domestic violence... Men usually don't get hospitalized. They rarely get acid thrown into their faces. They don't get pushed and knocked around like a ragdoll. They don't get pushed down the stairs for getting pregnant (or by getting someone pregnant). Because that's what happens to women when they are abused most of the time. But do you know what men ACTUALLY get? The…

Also, consider this: If he suddenly invited you out to a proper date then it still wouldn't have been a positive thing. It means that he was trying to see if he could be cheap. Dating shouldn't be bargaining about your boundaries and standards.

Regarding religion, you're only looking at the major ones. Many forms of paganism (y'know, one of the religions that don't tell you to kill everyone who doesn't believe in what you do) actually place femininity above masculinity. In Wicca, for example, the Goddess is associated with literally everything you need for a successful and enjoyable life. Meanwhile, the male counterpart is just... there. It represents fishing, hunting, sexuality, and that is it.

You don't need to consider therapy, you should sign up for it. Like yesterday. You are dealing with way more than a person should and it seems like the pressure is making your mental health crumble. This is not okay. I don't care if you fix the problem you have with men, but if you can't even think of sex or intimacy without hateful thoughts then there is something very wrong and it needs some correction. If someone is commenting on you and others are around you can talk loudly with no problem. Say shit that embarrasses them. "Ew, what a creep." Is my go-to. It attracts other people's attention and it will stop the guy. But what can also work is: "I don't know you, get away from me." "I'm a minor." This one should be said really loudly and with an offended tone, the guy will get out of the situation pretty damn quickly. Or just look them up and down, make a disgusted face and ignore. Let's give some context to the ladies who don't know where 3-inch screws are supposed to go: When you move into a place immediately check the way your lock is screwed into your door. It's likely held there by a half-inch long screw that can easily come out with a mediocre kick and it puts you at risk. If you find these in your door replace them with 3-inch ones, as they can hold on for much longer.

Not to mention the fact that if he has to be pressured into it he will constantly be regretting it afterwards. If it wasn't his own idea to begin with he might do all the work to propose and get married but it just won't sit right. And also might have an escape plan at the ready before the ink even dries on their marriage license.

They were the typical teen asshats who want to show off to their friends by yelling at a woman and trying to look... badass I guess? Something along those lines. I knew that if I kept my mouth shut I wouldn't be in any danger, but they pissed me off so much.

That's because a lot of women (or girls, I should say) get jealous of literally every single person their man meets, especially if he's nice to them. These people are so possessive that they would rather have a guy who treats everyone like a piece of garbage because then they don't have to worry about anyone liking them.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/10/20 08:23 PM

I would love to know what you saw and what he admitted to. I wonder just how stupid this guy is.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/10/20 07:00 AM

That's great, but the guy is abusive and if she leaves who knows what might happen. She knows that this is over, she's just scared for her own safety, it's clear from her last sentence. She needs to get to a support system first, ideally family who can take her in. Only after that can she start looking for a job and building up her future, otherwise she could end up getting really hurt.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/09/20 11:56 AM
10

That's why I decided against replying... I'd love to change someone's mind about this, but they are clearly stuck in their ways and aren't even open to the idea that they might not be right. And after that last sentence I started doubting myself, then realized there wouldn't be subreddits like r/antipornography

I have a what-if mentality. That maybe this could be a chance to make someone see how bad it is for you and how much it can affect your life. I know it's probably in vain, but what if?

And she would just move on to bash the entire sub and spread that we "really are just man hating incels". It ain't worth it.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/09/20 05:09 PM
30

Allowed? Sure. But I don't think that's a good idea, she first needs to pick up on what is actually going on around her and how she's being abused. Once that's done, she needs to leave and then she can start building up what he destroyed. She wouldn't really be able to appreciate FDS as of now.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/09/20 10:47 AM

You should not be dating during these times. That's the simple answer. You're putting yourself (and others you're interacting with) at risk by going on ANY kind of date. If you really insist on dating (which I would advise against), you should go to a restaurant that offers seats outside, in the open air. This works best for day dates though, which also means that the guy won't expect sex as heavily at the end.

Please don't explain it to him. Maybe other women will notice those books too and they will also see it as a red flag, and thus will leave him. If you tell him what happened he will just hide them and go about his merry way manipulating people.

That's literally why she's here though. The attitude you guys are putting in these comments might just deter younger girls from this sub and if that happens they'll just go over to the FDS hating site. I get it, us, 18-year-old little idiots don't know shit about the game. But we still have our values that we learned and developed over the years and we can't just throw away all of that because there's a handbook that says so. What? No offense, but I really don't think anyone's trying to manipulate others with their driving style. At least not by taking risks. I agree with the fact that it shows a person's character, but if a dude is rushing to beat a red light that doesn't mean they "just want to make your heart race". Nah, girl, he's just an impatient prick who thinks risking his life, your life, potentially a few others AND/OR the safety of his car is worth the few minutes he's sparing.

Because "we're shaming them". That is literally their biggest problem, people not accepting what they do for a living. While the rest of sex workers don't even give a shit about this kind of shaming because they just want to get through the day without being assaulted.

I was the same way with my bf for a long time too (although, not to this extent). He paid one bill, I paid the next, simple as that. Girl, why the hell do you care what he is? He literally told you he doesn't want a relationship right now. Stop thinking about it and move on, dude doesn't want anything but sex.

She clearly doesn't want to. I think this issue seems trivial to OP and I can kinda get that. This is the time to lay down some hard boundaries about what he can't do if he doesn't want to make OP uncomfortable. That's how she'll know whether this dude actually respects her/wants to be with her or not.

I personally think that you feel like you weren't adventurous enough before. Like you're missing out. Did you two get together really early in your lives?

I'm childless too, but I'm on the same page with you. We would expect to be told about children early as well, it would come off as really suspicious.

Girl, exclusivity is the bare minimum you need to demand to sleep over. Most of us advise that you shouldn't even have sex with a guy before he commits.

Good job! That scrote doesn't even deserve your fine self, I'm so glad you got out. And in such style as well!

Wanna get into a hobby together? I can teach you like crafts and crap, that's pretty distracting.

Wait, someone said THAT on this sub and didn't get ripped apart? That mentality shows that this person is simply jealous or doesn't want others to succeed.

I love how the dude is also downplaying the fact that she's going to become a doctor. Like money can buy all the time she spends studying and stressing for tests. Like no, girl's gonna save lives in a couple years, I don't give a shit how she paid for her school and laptop.

And we're the so-called dramatic gender...

I'd say that you should be on the look-out for red flags. Guys reveal them really easily during the first date and it will make it easier for you to vet them.

Yeah, I know, I just wanted to prove that the opinion of this person cannot really be taken into account even on the off chance that it is true.

Now this is what I call levelling up, good job queen!

But like if you have to vent about someone online then is that person really worth keeping around?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/05/20 02:53 PM

No, no. Let's just go with it for a second. Imagine this is a real woman. A person who either found this subreddit and couldn't grasp the idea or someone who heard about it and decided to karma farm. Either way, this is a dumb human being.

This guy has the emotional intelligence and self-awareness of a goddamned Sim.

That's great, but can we take a look at wtf this guy was thinking? 1) He just wanted a hookup, nothing more. 2) Dude planned on stringing you along for a while, hoping that you become invested before announcing he has a kid. Either way, that's a no-go. To me it seems like he basically wanted to waste his and your time in the hopes that you may be okay with it.

What's your opinion about the situation explained in r/relationshipadvice? I can't find it, so here is a TLDR: Guy finds posts of his GF on "men hating subreddit" where she bashes him, calls him toxic and complains constantly. Dude doesn't agree, asks for advice online.

I mean, this is coming from an abusive dude whose ex literally has a restraining order against him.

My main problem is that I'm just not surprised anymore... Men will always go for early 20's if they can, nothing more even if they are pushing retirement age. It's such a disgusting mindset, but it's the norm for them.

You undermined yourself by having sex with him before he showed you any commitment. No actually, you knew he had commitment issues and still decided to sleep with him. Block, never speak to him again.

Don't advise her against sex... I think we all go through the "I'm mature enough" phase when we're in our teens and only learn later, so it would very likely fall on deaf ears. Do try to warn her about this though. Just tell her how to be safe, maybe even show her this sub if you think she can adapt to the mentality.

I always acted like I was okay with it. Like sure, I'm the laid back gf who will let you watch that disgusting shit "as long as you come home to me". Then this subreddit woke me up I have finally gained enough self respect that I can lay down some boundaries and have a ton of facts behind them.

You didn't know better. It's okay, we all start out that way, the important thing is that you learned and now you will never let anyone treat you like this.

Here's the silver lining though: now you can appreciate the life you live way more because you know what the other option is. Gratitude goes a long way when it comes to mental health and knowing that you didn't tie yourself down for some dude and that you can live your best life is especially great.

Spirituality isn't all about religion. It can also be your connection to nature, the universe around you. It's more like a general positive attitude about the world, that's the best way to describe it.

Excuse me, what? 2 days of radio silence and this guy thinks he will have a chance?

And it would take like what, 5 minutes to find rings like this? Men who complain about not wanting to spend a fortune are just lazy.
