1	Canada - Post secondary education Parents aren't obligated to pay for their children's post secondary education in Canada, and that's why government student loan programs exist. When I was in university, to qualify, you had to show that your parent's income was low enough. Perhaps you can see if your child will qualify for student loans and, if so, you can use that as an argument for not being forced to pay. That way, you have the choice to pay if you want, but nobody is holding a gun to your head.	/r/Divorce_Men	08/08/24 01:15 PM

All of this advice assumes that a woman left a man who didn't see it coming.
