A key and crucial insight.

It makes it a lot easier to be congruent and adopt the right mindset, although I suppose technically it’s not always necessary. You could, theoretically, fake your way through enough interactions to bamboozle someone into thinking you’re confident when you’re not. At that point though, the energy you’d expend would be more efficiently deployed toward gaining real confidence instead.

Your comments say you’re doing your undergrad - in that case, unless you’re at a really small college or in STEM, there should be decent girls in pretty much any class you take. The kind of social monopoly you’re describing is more of a high school thing than a college thing.
/r/seduction29/08/22 03:18 PM
1

That’s going to take too long if you’re not already on good terms with them. A better idea is to take classes with girls, in a subject you have an interest and talent in, and where you have your own group of friends, as that will give you a lot more social proof without making you dependent on other guys with potentially conflicting interests.

I think if you met in person, you’d find her much more likely to sleep with you, as the above makes her seem very conflicted between her religious beliefs and her desires. The other alternative is that she is playing games and trying to get you to chase her with no intention or desire to follow through. Since I don’t know this girl and don’t have much information about your situation, I would recommend meeting with her in person to see if that changes anything. If not, disengage a bit and talk t…

If you’ve escalated to the point where I would recommend making a move like that, at a shopping centre you’d have a reasonable expectation of being able to kiss or hold hands, and at a workplace I’d recommend moving away from PDAs.
/r/seduction29/08/22 04:38 AM

Everything we do in an interaction, consciously or unconsciously, is a move of some kind. So the most precise answer to your question is “no, because the interaction itself is a move, and there can be many reasons why I’d start interacting with someone beyond interest”. I bet that answer won’t be satisfying, though, so I’ll be more specific: I initiate contact of some kind whether or not I can tell the person is interested, because the person’s response is what tells me their level of interest. …

This is accurate, and also, they’re thinking of scenarios when guys come up, make vulgar sexual comments about their bodies, and fail to read their signals or respect their boundaries. Literally none of those things are what we mean by cold approaching, and when you talk about proper cold approaching without using the phrase “cold approach”, the response is very different.
/r/seduction26/08/22 03:16 PM

No, they’re imagining a scenario where uncalibrated guys show up and say stupid shit. Women appreciate an approach done well.

No, that’s good advice. Other guys can introduce you to girls in their social circle, and meeting both guys and girls when you’re out socializing doubles the chances you’ll find a good circle while exponentially increasing the chance that you’ll have a good time overall.

Good stuff buddy. What you’ll come to realize is that there’s a difference between a polite, somewhat pleasant vibe, an emotionally engaged vibe, and a flirty, high-chemistry vibe. Asking deep questions can definitely create or reinforce intimacy - but you’ll notice that the deepest questions are often about how she feels in the present about something important from the past. Generally, it’s not so much about getting someone to recount what’s happened in the past as it is about getting them to contextualize it for the present.
/r/seduction21/08/22 02:34 AM
11

I’ll give you three tips: When in doubt, the most interesting thing to the person you’re talking to is themselves. If you’re going to comment on something about someone, it should be something they control rather than not. Intimacy is created by drawing someone into the present moment. Asking what someone does for work is less intimate than asking them what they’re doing right now. Asking someone what they’re doing right now is less intimate than commenting on something they’re actually doing ri…

I’m not sure what your specific issue is as I haven’t seen you in action, so it’s hard to give you the specific action or set of actions you need to perform differently. In my case, though, I found it helpful not to spend time trying to interpret an apparent advance, but to simply match the advance with a similar act or an escalation. That gives her the opportunity to escalate further with you, which of course gives you the opportunity to get laid. Similarly, if she retreats, I don’t spend a lot…

Basically, you need to alter your mindset. Chances are pretty good that you’re either hesitating too much, or you’re behaving in ways that cut you off from the seductive “current”, so to speak. State control, coupled with a few principles kept in mind, will remedy that.
/r/seduction20/08/22 06:16 PM

/r/seduction20/08/22 04:07 PM

In your case, talk to both men and women with an eye toward having a good time and making friends, rather than just picking up girls. Stay open to opportunities to hang out longer, like if someone proposes heading to a bar or a party. Make sure to grab contact information and add people on social media, as the latter is an especially low cost way to keep yourself at the top of people’s minds. If you want more specific advice for the first one, a good route is to comment on things in your general…
/r/seduction19/08/22 03:33 AM

That might be true, but you can still build one. People in small towns are usually pretty friendly, and many of them like to party.
/r/seduction19/08/22 03:24 AM

In a small town, you’re better off with social circle game rather than cold approaching. Cold approaches are for big, anonymous cities where you can’t receive blowback for screwing up.
/r/seduction19/08/22 03:21 AM
1

Your first paragraph is exactly my point. Your location is terrible, and that’s probably a big part of the reason you aren’t seeing success. Your second paragraph is wrong. 60 approaches is not a lot, it’s barely enough to get your ears wet. I don’t know what you do for money, but in my line of work, reaching out to 60 prospects is barely enough to get through a day, let alone become a master.

You could make an argument that European civilization is living on borrowed time due to the likely probability of climate refugees, but that’s not so much about relative birth rates as it is about hundreds of millions of people from foreign cultures attempting to reach a continent governed by an infertile, senescent civilization at the same time. America, however, will face a somewhat different fate.

Bro you have no chill lmao. You started off asking her if she wanted to hang out - fair enough, reasonable question. She asks where - fair enough, reasonable question. You then proceeded to spam her with options and project heavy uncertainty - of course, she responds to that with uncertainty and feels like you’re pressuring her, which is why she unfollowed you and why she started making up excuses about going to the gym and watching her siblings. You then continued to pursue the line of question…

This isn’t enough information to give you an answer. She could be interested, but she could also just be friendly and neighborly. The actual answer is physical, not just whether she talks to you.

It’s not ideal, but you’re better off just becoming more attractive and getting it out of your system. Once you’re attracting more women, you’ll stop caring as much and will go do other things. Once that happens, you’ll have enough going on in your life that the one source isn’t going to mean as much, even though you’ll probably always want it.

I don’t cut women off completely unless they’re actually engaging in some kind of major violation. What I will do, though, is focus a lot less on pursuing them and just reach out every once in a while when something strikes me as worth sharing with them, assuming we’ve been having reasonably good conversations up until now. That’s been a much more productive route for me, and it doesn’t preclude me from pursuing other people while I stay in contact.
/r/seduction15/08/22 06:40 PM
2

Start by just getting used to having normal conversations. Talk to women like you’d talk to your guy friends, and focus less on getting laid and more on having mutually enjoyable interactions with no strings attached. Once you can do that easily and confidently, you’ll have enough of a baseline to move on to more flirty, risky, and seductive conversations.

No, that’s fine.
/r/seduction15/08/22 04:10 PM

Short answer: it depends on how she says it and at what part of the interaction, but usually ejecting like that is the wrong play. Long answer: sometimes, a girl will say she has a boyfriend (or a girlfriend) because she feels obligated to, but the rest of her behavior suggests engagement. In that case, ejecting would kill an otherwise fruitful conversation and might even prevent you from getting laid. In this case, you should keep going the way you were before, treat it like a shit test and kee…

You’re mostly right, although I would say a community is necessary, as it provides practical information, positive reinforcement, and counters more toxic views emanating from other communities that lonely and frustrated young men are liable to slip into.

It’s also worth remembering that guys who consistently escalate will get laid far more often than guys who don’t. If you want to get laid, you’ll have to be the first guy and not the second.

Looks are an advantage, but I’ve seen pretty average and below average dudes make up for weak looks with sheer ballsiness, charisma, and fantastic calibration. On the other hand, I myself am and always have been a good looking and charismatic dude, and I can still remember a time when moving from initial interest (which always came easily) to an actual close was something of a crapshoot. Being able to generate that interest right off the bat is definitely a good thing, but it’s not really useful…

Literally none of those things are important. Focus on building the life you want, and you will automatically filter out people and things that are incompatible with it. The ability to select who and what enters your life is the foundation of confidence, as this determines the value any given person you encounter will have to you.

She probably likes you Her energy is very labile, most likely because she is young and a bit insecure When both of the above are true, the best response is to be even keeled, keep a positive vibe, and escalate physically. Work with her feedback, when she pulls away, don’t chase her, just return to your chill baseline and keep the vibe positive.
/r/seduction18/07/22 09:32 PM

All good man, best time to start is now. Keep in mind that the vast majority of people don’t practice these skills to the point of mastery, most people wait until they’re just good enough at something to solve whatever immediate problem is bugging them. If you put in enough consistent, solid practice, you’ll not only catch up, you’ll blow way past the average.
/r/seduction18/07/22 06:24 PM
3

The obvious thing to do is move out. If you can’t do that, then you’ll be dependent on the girl’s logistical setup and may need to lean a bit more on dating apps. Given this, your best strategy is to farm rather than hunt; aim to cultivate either long term FWBs or relationships, as that will make up for your unreliable logistics and low variety. Alternatively, you can drive to the nearest city for the weekend and try your luck there, but that’s going to get expensive and probably isn’t worth it.

You need to train yourself to ignore nervousness or transmute it into excitement. The best way to do that is to simply be aware of when the feeling is rising in you, and rather than choosing the automatic response (not acting), defy that response and do the thing you’re feeling nervous about. This is not just applicable when going for the kiss, but also when opening, when escalating, and when proposing a new, more logistically favorable venue. It sounds like I’m saying “Just do it”, but building…

I’m not getting the vibe that she’s into you at all, but if you want to know, just behave completely normally with her (maybe even a little nicer than usual) until she brings up something else like that in a conversation. Then, just ask her open ended questions about it and let her talk; you’ll get a much better picture of her intentions that way.

You’re probably young, and as someone who had this issue when younger, my advice would be to a) slow down and attune yourself to the girl’s reactions, and b) disarm objections stemming from logistics and social context ahead of time. In the first case, you’ll have a much easier time passing shit tests (which is what “you’re such a fuckboy” means 99% of the time when said by a girl you’re flirting with), a much easier time with push-pull banter, and will be a lot less likely to generate resistanc…

Approach girls who are a) part of a group of people you’re talking to, b) in your general vicinity while you’re talking to someone else, c) displaying open body language, d) directly looking at, or otherwise engaging you, or e) are taking part in a mutually enjoyable group activity. This list is non-exhaustive, but shows you easy inroads. Opinion openers are cliché, but they still work well. /r/seduction08/07/22 06:49 PM

Depends entirely on the girl and the interaction you’ve been having. You generally want it to be clear enough to trigger a response from her, and subtle enough to allow for both plausible deniability and for her to feel as though she has enough control over the way the interaction is going and will go.

In the end, there’s only one way to find out. I will say that I’ve been doing some form of cold approaching for a very long time, and it definitely does not take years to get a number, lol. In fact, getting numbers is so trivially easy that a complete beginner would be able to get dozens with a week of solid effort.
/r/seduction29/06/22 03:19 AM

I don’t know if cold approaching is the best way for most guys to meet women, but it seems to me that you’ve tried everything but cold approaching and met with no success. Given this, I’d say you really don’t have anything to lose at this point, you may as well try it and do your best to make it work.
/r/seduction29/06/22 03:12 AM

I’ve noticed something like this, but it always coincides with shifts in my personal intention and isn’t completely random. I suspect that on a subconscious level, I am doing things that draw people on a certain wavelength toward me, and the most logical explanation is that it is related both to something I am doing and something I and others are responding to.
/r/seduction29/06/22 02:46 AM

People who insist on verbally confirming every escalation in the seductive process strike me as people who’ve learnt about sex by reading feminist literature rather than by actually getting laid. Not to say there’s no place for it, but most times, doing things this way and paying close attention to her reaction to ascertain enthusiasm is the right way to go about it.
/r/seduction29/06/22 02:36 AM

Multiple venues are your solution. Start at the cocktail bar, but keep several alternative venues in mind for you guys to roll to after. Deploy the most rational one at some point during your conversation. That will make it easier to escalate logistically then without putting too much pressure on her now.

It’s possible the problem is your appearance, but what’s a lot more likely (given the fact that you always receive compliments about your looks from many different people from many different walks of life) is that you don’t know how to recognize signs of interest and aren’t able to escalate or keep things flowing. You said it yourself, you have boring, transactional conversations that don’t go anywhere, so clearly, the solution lies in improving your conversational skills. The first question I’d…

No worries, it happens (I’ve been a much bigger dick than that in the past). The solution is to escalate more and keep an eye on your logistics. I’ve been in your situation before, and the reason it doesn’t lead to a close is probably because you’re too focused on not screwing up the attraction you seem to be building and waiting for the perfect moment to capitalize, rather than converting the attraction into something and creating the opportunity to capitalize. Leave that behind. The mentality you should adopt instead is that the only way you close is by escalating, and…

That’s a solid post, I’ll note that it’s definitely possible to get laid without relying on a high volume of approaches, but it’s less consistent and you’ll be very dependent on things that aren’t in your control, like the quality of the venue you’re at and the gender ratio. I would also say that the objective shouldn’t be high volume per night, the best thing to do is lock in and focus when you find a solid girl or group of girls with great logistics and enthusiastic escalation. It’s definitely possible OP seriously misread the situation, and I tend to agree that she probably wasn’t that into him given her follow up response (and the fact that someone had the balls to say that to him in the first place). However, if it was as bad as the man made it sound and he was watching the whole time, why didn’t he say anything before? Eh, guys pull some pretty shady shit sometimes. As a guy, I wouldn’t take what a random and clearly hostile dude says at face value, as there could be all kinds of reasons he’s saying it that have nothing to do with mine or the woman’s best interests. The reason is likely because the younger generations have been subjected to ridiculous amounts of feminist propaganda and general social control, which raises the material costs of failure while making them a lot more sensitive to rejection. Now that, I think, is a very different question - it’s one thing to have a different idea of seduction, and quite another to negate the very concept. The former is within the bounds of the sub and should be allowed. The latter invalidates the sub’s very existence, and should not.

If you’re asking that, my recommendation is to go back to older literature, read it, and apply the techniques and developmental strategies you find there. Contrapoints says that because she doesn’t deal with these idiots on a daily basis. From a distance it’s possible to feel that way, but up close it becomes clearer that removal is the only way forward.
/r/seduction25/06/22 06:57 PM
5

The problem is that when there’s a significant influx of incels, they no longer adapt to the culture and instead attempt to promote their own. There will eventually come a point when incel retardation drowns out quality discourse and the sub ends up ruined, if steps aren’t taken to correct it before we reach a tipping point.
/r/seduction25/06/22 06:51 PM
2

Stronger enforcement is definitely needed. I understand not wanting to censor legitimate disagreement, but when the question at hand is a matter of developing technical proficiency rather than debating abstract philosophy, it falls to the proficient to impose quality control measures where swarming masses of incapability threaten to undermine the project.
/r/seduction25/06/22 06:48 PM
1

Seeing as I’ve put thousands of hours of practice and study into this over the course of at least a decade, the more likely explanation is that I do know what I’m talking about, and that incels are lazy retards.
/r/seduction25/06/22 06:40 PM
1

It definitely helps, but there’s still a process you need to go through in order to close (women often do a lot to help you along, though).
/r/seduction25/06/22 06:11 PM
2

Needed, no, but it’s a great contact point and can supplement your game in a lot of ways. Some people are only on Instagram and can’t be easily reached other ways, you can collect numbers if you want, but social media has a lot more ways to maintain low stakes contact over time, so it’s better for farming.

What they’re trying to do is filter out guys who only or primarily want something casual - they’re open to a bit of a discovery process like you ar…

/r/seduction25/06/22 05:13 PM

My advice is to not take any one thing a person says seriously if it isn’t being backed up by any action. Sometimes women will say things like that to flirt and throw you off balance, if you don’t let it rattle you and keep the vibe going (or even better, meet the challenge and escalate), 9 times out of 10 that’s the best response.
/r/seduction25/06/22 05:08 PM
31

Probably a combination of a really relaxed, comfortable vibe, your personal style, and being physically attractive. But if someone is saying that to you, it’s a sign that they see something sexy about you, which is a good thing. Just continue with the relaxed vibe and deny the accusation without letting it visibly bother you.

Lol that guy was a fucking clown, but there’s not much he could have said that would have fucked you over like that if she’d been that interested in you, unless he lied about what you said to him. It’s possible you misread the situation a lot more than I’m implying here, but if you were being that creepy, why didn’t he head over while you were talking to the girls? Best way to deal with guys like that is the way you deal with all cockblocks; escalate to the point where the girl’s interest in you…

Completely incorrect.
/r/seduction25/06/22 03:42 PM

You couldn’t be more wrong. Looks open many doors, but game is what allows you to walk through. You’ve clearly never known the frustration of having a ton of initial interest and no idea how to move things forward consistently - girls may like you, but if you don’t know how to capitalize on that, you’re fucked.
/r/seduction25/06/22 03:40 PM
10

People don’t like things that come easily, we like a cycle of challenge and reward because it keeps us emotionally engaged. That’s why Archie goes nuts for Veronica, Will stays whipped by Jada, and detached fuckboys smash the chick who’s given you oneitis.
/r/seduction25/06/22 03:05 AM

My point is that it doesn’t matter, the situation itself implies that you want to get laid, and this isn’t a problem if you’re an asset socially.
/r/seduction24/06/22 05:09 PM
2

There’s really nothing rational you can do to prevent people from thinking you want to get laid, what matters is whether you’re a source of good vibes or not. IME, other guys in your crew are a lot more likely to hold you back than amplify you.
/r/seduction24/06/22 05:03 PM
2

That first paragraph is accurate if you’re talking about guys, but having other women with you absolutely makes it easier to game. It isn’t necessary, but it’s definitely easier.
/r/seduction24/06/22 04:56 PM
3

This is excellent advice, I would also add the importance of quieting your ego and listening. Doing this helps you be more interesting by a) giving the other person the opportunity to delve into a subject they themselves are interested in, and b) giving you the opportunity to pick up on what the other person wants and what will engage them.
/r/seduction24/06/22 03:58 PM
1

What you say isn’t nearly as important as what you see, hear, and feel. A lot of guys (myself included) have talked themselves out of something they could have scored by shutting the fuck up.

Try plausible deniability rather than being explicit off the bat online.
/r/seduction24/06/22 05:31 AM

First of all, I would like to commend you for looking toward yourself as the answer for what might be going wrong. Too many people externalize blame rather than focusing on what they have the power to control, and as a consequence, make themselves miserable while failing to solve their problem. Second, the problem is likely a combination of a) looking in the wrong places/talking to the wrong women, and b) the way you are talking about setting these up. We can’t answer which is which without more…

I’ll second this guy’s advice here. Truth be told, I hesitated and decided against telling you to pick up a meditation practice, but I can say that the ability to detach from your thoughts and act separately from your emotions gives you a lot of power in the dating world. Meditation would do you good (and it’ll probably get you to quit coke),

They don’t even debate a lot of the time. I can at least respect someone who disagrees with me and can say why, someone who just assumes their worldview is correct without actually giving reasons, and just parrots woke language at me, is definitely not going to get along with me long enough for a relationship to develop.

Nobody can get any woman. Anyway, the first and most important question to answer is, how does she respond to you? I’m hearing a lot about how interested you are in her, but nothing about what she does to retain your interest or demonstrate her own. If you’re having a hard time coming up with an answer, that should be your first step. Pay attention to her. Listen to what she does and says, and take note of how that aligns with your standards and what you want out of the situation. Once you know …

I find cocaine makes my game worse, as it takes me out of my body and places me in my head (and if anxiety is a problem for you, cocaine will only make it worse, especially if you’re frequently doing a lot). Instead, you should lay off the blow and focus on inhabiting your body more. Read up about state control, and don’t limit yourself to state control within a seductive context, broaden your horizons across the board.

Right now you’re confused and don’t know exactly which way to turn, because your mind has set up a false dichotomy of career/dating and finds neither completely satisfying. As a result, your will is paralyzed, because you are trying to do two things you don’t really want to do and are sacrificing things you believe are important. The solution is to take a step back from both and look for a higher synthesis. Your problem is not that your desires are incompatible, but that the way your mind is org…

It means they find you distinctive enough to pay attention to, which either means you are very ugly, very attractive, or otherwise unusual for your area. Since everyone is saying the exact opposite of the first, and since you are quite certain it is not the third (not only because you said so explicitly, but also because you wouldn’t have written the post if there was some other obvious reason that’d make you stand out), the logical conclusion to draw is that it is the second.

Just smile, say “how’s it going”, and either comment on something about her or your shared environment, or ask an open ended question that gives you material to work with (personally I recommend combining the two by saying something like “you look like you’re going to X right now”). At this point I just get bored if the girl isn’t bringing much to the table (whether it’s looks or other things), but I got there organically, by creating abundance and acting on it, not by trying to fit someone else’s standard of who I should or shouldn’t fuck. My point is that if someone isn’t there, they should trust the process and do what works for their particular moment, not try to become someone they aren’t.

In terms of size and strength, the average man is to the average woman what the average NFL linebacker is to the average man. You may not intend any harm, but you are absolutely a physical threat to her and should keep this in at least the back of your mind. Even assuming the 30 year old in question actually wants to settle down (which is far from guaranteed), there are all kinds of reasons why someone younger might be a better choice. For instance, if having children matters to him, younger women will be fertile for longer.

The Demon Slayer line is exactly what you want to do, I wouldn’t even necessarily go over to the bit about wanting to meet up immediately after that, just having a conversation about an anime you guys both like for a while and transitioning into other topics is good. Don’t worry if people have been commenting about their outfit lol, what matters is that you are having a conversation about something that interests both of you.

That depends on where you are and on what’s going on around you. Typically I like to point to something notable or interesting in the environment and start a conversation with that, if you’re at an anime convention then the girl herself might have something of obvious interest about her, like a costume or something. I don’t usually start by introducing myself, I usually start with the interesting thing and go from there. It’s not rude to talk to people, it might be annoying if they’re busy doing…

Like… for example, if a girl is touching herself (obviously, non-sexually) and giggles a lot when you say things, she’s almost certainly interested and you should take that as a sign to escalate. The content of what you’re saying might provoke different responses in different girls, but the response itself is mostly consistent. Another constant is the fact that talking about someone’s feelings about something is almost always a better conversational topic than talking about the thing itself, bec…

Just meet her in person and gauge how she responds to you. If you’re getting IOIs and there’s heavy flirting and chemistry, then the bit about “friends only” is likely bullshit. If it’s a platonic, fairly boring conversation, with no IOIs, no chemistry, or anything remotely sexual, then her interest is likely platonic.

Figure out your logistics first - where are you most likely to be able to take her to smash? Once you know that, your goal is to get her there, and your choice of venue should be best calculated to do that. If you met her at a club, odds are she’s a party girl, so some kind of show or party close to your hookup spot would be ideal.

I’m gonna disagree hard with this one. Not so much with the idea that banging low quality women will lead to drama (that part is obvious), but with the idea that if you don’t see yourself as a “bad boy”, you shouldn’t go out of your way to become less emotionally dependent on women and more willing to take risks and pursue your interests (which is basically what we mean here). Wrong way to look at it. But that doesn’t mean women can’t offer useful insights - one thing self-aware women are able to communicate well is the subjective experience of being seduced, which helps you grasp calibration in ways most men can’t really even teach you. Typically the proposed answer is communism lol, but I personally think the problem is that our planet has vanishingly fewer resources and significantly less open space for pioneers to stake their claim, so we are being forced to live our lives on hamster wheels in order to gain the ascendancy within the system that previously went to enterprising conquistadores. Problem is, the qualities that make people fuckable in our era aren’t necessarily qualities that allow for the maintenance or advancement of civilization long term. A lot of guys are afraid to escalate because they don’t want to screw up and lose the girl. Guys who consistently make things happen take the risk and are generally rewarded for it. Guys who make nothing happen are often afraid to take risks.

Head over with her and introduce yourself to her friends, hang out with the entire group while escalating with the girl, and make sure to move toward a close that night. First of all, good on you for trying, and for seeking help! Second of all, the dancefloor is not the best spot to talk to girls in a club. The best places to talk are outside and by the bar, as both spots are quieter and will give you the opportunity to hold a conversation. The dancefloor is there for you to either a) rapidly escalate with a girl you already have with you, or b) start dancing with girls who are already on the floor. Off the top of my head: Touching/making out a lot Logistical escalation (trying to go back to my place, her place, or to a secluded location alone, hanging out in areas close to her house) Voice goes low Giving “the look” Touching herself a lot (this is a very reliable signal because it’s harder to control) Presses her lower body into you The more of these you see at once, the better.

I consider a high quality “basic” girl to be a 7 - the kind of girl who’s definitely cute and has no major flaws, but doesn’t really stand out in a crowd, either. An 8 is noticeably attractive, and does actually stand out when you put her in a crowd or a room with other people. More likely than not, she’ll be one of the most attractive women you’ll see going about your day. A 9 is attractive to the point where it doesn’t just stand out, but is really unusual for the time and place - a 9+ is some…

Anyone who downvotes you ought to give their head a shake. The fact of the matter is, we are currently playing with a ruleset that presumes the existence of a stable civilization - in the absence of a “solved” political order, the question of reproductive success reverts to a question of politics, aka raw power and its prerogatives.

Begin rebuilding with a gang of capable men, and be prepared to conquer and subdue rival groups of males for territory and resources; enslaving the remaining competitors would ensure a ready supply of willing women. If she wants guys, then what makes you think she doesn’t want anyone hitting on her? More importantly, if you bring other guys into your set, how does this help your friend get laid? Why wouldn’t the cockblock just convince her friend to take one of the friends of the guy she’s into?

My opinion is that there comes a point where going out with other guys just holds you back, and you’re better off going out on your own. In this case, the only thing you can do is swing the conversation into something else and start building the vibe yourself, and if your friends fuck that up, ditch them and go find girls yourself for the rest of the night.

Yes, it is bad to be too friendly. There are times when you want to be challenging and conflictual, and times when you want to be a little bit cold. As far as not knowing how flirtatious you can be, the only way to know is to flirt and see how she responds. Trying to think your way into making the right moves never works, only the way things behave in reality can tell you what the right moves are.

If you have response chains that are counterproductive and automatic, fixing them requires you to get in the habit of doing different things. I wouldn’t use the fact that she hung out with the other lesbian at work as proof that she isn’t into you. What I always recommend is to directly test a person’s interest by noting how they respond to you, and to regard the brain’s tendency to build theories about people with the deepest suspicion. Her behavior with you suggests interest; her behavior when not with you is not nearly as important unless you are in a relationship and have certain obligations toward each other. That is an excellent question, and I will answer it with a series of questions - how much material on game have you actually read? Do you understand the structure and stages of a close? Has anyone provided feedback on how you’re coming across to others? Do you have a social circle, close or extended, that has an abundance of women in it? I used to feel that way sometimes, but I’ve come to realize that it’s a very unrealistic expectation and not a very useful one. Nobody can possibly be “on” all the time, and no one who requires that is worth the effort.

No, start pursuing now and you’ll find yourself hurting less. Like I said, this wasn’t a very deep connection, the emotions may have been real, but they weren’t based in anything substantial if we’re being honest.
/r/seduction28/02/22 04:24 AM

I wouldn’t go out of my way to, but it might be helpful in order to a) make it clear that you’re not seeing anyone, b) demonstrate some pre-selection, and c) explain your friend’s behavior if it seems like this girl cares about it.
/r/seduction28/02/22 03:29 AM

Just try again without your female friend. Slight possibility your female friend was a little jealous, either way it doesn’t seem like having her there is beneficial.
/r/seduction28/02/22 03:21 AM

Well, one way or the other you will have to find other women, and most likely you will find that the new women will have assets that make you forget about this one (which wasn’t very deeply rooted despite its effect on you). So, the course of action to pursue is the one you were going to pursue anyway, and in time you’ll forget about this one.

Best response to a bad frame is to refuse to play into it.

I got plenty of play in high school, but hitting my mid-20s made a huge difference. Your pool expands like you wouldn’t believe, and you have the experience and money to capitalize on it. I agree with the other comment in that it is better if you put the work in, but if you’re on this sub and actively trying to solicit information and improve yourself, you already are, and likely will continue. For those of you in high school, I cannot stress just how unnatural your situation is in comparison to…

You have more control over your situation when you approach, relying on being approached is more for when there’s a large status/appearance asymmetry within a given environment and you can be reliably sure that your appearance and/or reputation can do the work for you. That’s not a bad situation to be in, but probably not the most challenging, and not easily accessible to everyone.

My number one reason for going out is to meet women, but that doesn’t mean I’m not interested in having a good time in general. I’ve learned that it’s not useful to separate the idea of having fun from meeting women, because that leads to really stupid outcomes and will likely result in neither happening. Go out to have fun, but recognize and accept that for you, having fun will involve meeting women.

As far as Point 1 and Point 3 go, when a person gets older it becomes clearer that our patterns and habits have a much bigger impact on our lives than any one event. What matters most is building the right habits in order to consistently meet the right people, not having the perfect person fall out of the sky.

Easiest thing to do is either point to something they’re doing (ie: “Hey, is that [author/book]? I love that [book/series/author]! How far have you gotten?”), riff off of something happening around you (especially if the person is also aware of and looking at it), or, if it’s someone you interact with lightly fairly often (like, head nods and other forms of acknowledgment), just smile, say hi, and mention that you haven’t had a chance to meet properly yet.

I’ll give you a bit of advice - modern conditions have made it so that men are forced into situations where we must compete with women for status and resources, something which does not come naturally to those of us used to dealing with women under happier circumstances (I myself have fallen victim to this). Women, however, possess no such limitations, and will happily devour men if doing so allows them to attain a desired end. For your sake, then, you’ll need to remove the ambiguity and define …

I can comprehend the difference between being frustrated at a lack of success with dating coaches, a belief in the inefficacy of dating coaches, and an underlying belief that seduction is predatory and misogynistic and that dating coaches simply perpetuate this dynamic. The first two are perhaps fair criticisms, the latter is arrant nonsense and is what your post is communicating.
/r/seduction22/02/22 06:55 PM

Definitely a lack of escalation, also probably a lack of tension in your conversations. Sitting across from someone on a date is a very bad idea by the way, you can still make things happen but you’re better off being next to people instead.

To get approached more, open body language helps. I unfortunately can’t tell you much more than that because the way I approach and the way most people approach is different, I’m a lot more confident and willing to take the plunge than most guys are, but I know that open body language and a smile are two ways to seem receptive to a conversation that I and others will recognize. /r/seduction20/02/22 03:59 AM

I’m gonna be honest, there are tons of resources online, but nothing will teach you as well as constant and repeated experience. The reason is because it’s less about noticing specific signals and more about assessing the vibe and energy of the person in front of you and placing their behavior in the right emotional and mental context. And yes, part of the way you know is by testing the waters and assessing the response you get. The more you do that, the easier it becomes to notice things.

You want to generate sexual tension, and you generate it by a) allowing it to arise naturally without doing things to break it, and b) by allowing the conversation to become emotionally engaging. An example of the former is sitting with a girl and having a conversation, and suddenly noticing a certain nervous tension rising between you. Most guys, in this situation, choose to do things to break it like laughing or pulling away physically, but in reality the right response is to either keep thing…

It really isn’t the bare minimum, though, and I say this as someone who has interacted with and fucked tons of women (which you haven’t, unless you’re a lesbian). Being nice is generally better than not being nice, yes, but being nice all the time doesn’t get you anywhere. Make male friends and they will likely bring female friends along. If they do, use the female friends as a pivot to get the other girls out for some platonic fun. I’ll personally pick up on your intent within a short span of time, so for me it doesn’t matter much as long as you’re chill and reasonably attractive. However, when I was a lot younger there were definitely times when women approached me and I was like a deer caught in the headlights, so you might find more success overall with an indirect approach. What makes you good at seduction? I have high cognitive empathy. I am very extroverted. I am intelligent and witty, and can talk intelligently about mutual interests we have. I don't sweat the small stuff and am not anxious. I am willing to risk being offensive and making others uncomfortable in order to enjoy myself and generate attraction, and I don't feel guilty or embarrassed if that happens. I’m 23 years old and have wasted my life…. You definitely haven't lol, but now is a fantastic time to get back on track. How can I build a social life knowing that I’m so far behind in life? You are not far behind in life, most people either a) dick around in their early 20s, b) plateau at some point in their careers and fail to progress beyond it, or c) burn out early. The people in the first category are still able to avoid being the people in the second and third categories if they play their…

What things actually stuck with you and helped you in a practical sense? It basically boiled down to the following: I didn't really grasp many of the subtleties of the female dating experience, which caused me to absorb lots of stupid ideas and behaviors. For example, I believed for some time that women's biggest objection to sex was the fear of being slutty, when in fact, the most important objection in most cases (other than a lack of attraction, of course) is the fear of rape and physical vio…

Solid advice so far, I would add that if you've had her on social media in the past (your post is a bit ambiguous on this point), you can definitely ask her for her socials, and if she says something like "I thought I had you already", you can casually tell her that your last gf made you delete all other females (which is psychotic by the way, don't ever allow a girl to do this). I'm gonna say you'd probably have been fucking her for longer if you didn't say anything, but you obviously were invested, which means staying with her would have been a waste of your time. Three things to keep in mind: Seductive language is all about drawing the person you're talking to into the present moment. Next time you give her a hug, make a mental note of how exactly she's engaging with you. If she's very excited, but the hug is mostly coming from the upper body with little lower body engagement, that indicates platonic interest (though obviously, it's not a certainty). If she's engaging her lower body a lot and holding contact for a long time, it's a sign of attraction, especially if she follows it up with other lingering forms of physical contact (though, again, there are no certainties).

One thing you learn once you leave high school (although the lesson sinks in at different rates for everyone) is that no single social circle has any power over your ability to experience abundance. In situations where you're justifiably concerned about awkwardness, a light touch is best. A friendly conversation between neighbors is no cause for discomfort, and if she's interested in more, she will demonstrate that and you'll be able to act on her behavior. If she's not giving you any signs, then you can end the conversation without having pushed her into an awkward situation. There are many degrees of engagement between "don't ever talk to me" and "let's fuck now".

Not that you need to change your job, but it'd be a good idea to look for activities and events that are of interest to you and likely to also have women present. After that, just start by having friendly conversations with no strings attached, just to get your feet wet. Once you've gotten to that point, either you'll escalate into banging someone or you won't. If you aren't, head back here and look for more advice.

Honestly man, if they talk shit they are shit, if they support you then they're real. Eventually, most people end up doing that, so you'll likely have chances to reconnect later in life anyway.

I also dont like the implication that if you cant find someone, you are obviously just doing everything wrong and should change everything about yourself. Most likely, if they are asking for advice in the sub, they are doing something wrong and need to change something. Depending on the person, those changes might range from the small and technical to the large and fundamental. It's normally the former if the person is already handling the fundamentals properly and is going out and meeting women…

Right now I'm in college and I'm majoring in mathematics. I spend most of my time studying. Usually I go to school early and head to the tutoring center for a few hours before class. After my classes are over I either go to the tutoring center for a few more hours or go home and study. I do have some friends but I don't see them often. One of the people I hung out with most last semester was my math teacher. It sounds like you do have something going on, it's just not something you think is cool…

I will say that I think the idea of having a girl "friend" is laughable at best . You're missing out on an easy source of social capital, but you do you. That's only potentially true if you're working a social circle (and that's far from universal), if you're focusing on cold approaches either online or in person, having other women around is an advantage whether or not you're sleeping with them. alot of the time chicks complain about the same exact thing that they're attracted to so seeking out advice from them i…

I have no clue how I am going to combat it. That fear is your best friend. Why? Because the fear is the source of tension, and tension is the source of sexual polarity. In fact, leaning into the tension is at least half of what flirting and escalation involve, and the more comfortable you get with pushing into it, the more seductive you'll be. So, the next time you're getting IOIs, and you feel that little buzz in your stomach, instead of turning your energy away, turn it toward her. Instead of …

The reason young men usually have a harder time with women their own age than older men do is that they're generally less comfortable in their own skins and more invested in the specific girl they're talking to. So, if you want different results, you need to focus less on trying to become someone girls will like (which is what 99 percent of straight males your age are doing), and focus more on living the life you want to live. Now, I'm not saying you shouldn't focus on women at all - since you'r…

No, he wasn't. In social situations, he tended to be overbearing and prone to giving one sided lectures, his charisma stemmed from his powerful presence and ability to speak to and channel the German id. People have many different definitions of charisma - I like to go with this: "a non-rational quality possessed by a person that causes others to be drawn to them and want to follow their lead". This is not the same thing as charm, which is more about having social graces and causing others to feel good in your presence - a person can be charismatic without being charming, and vice versa.

One thing to keep in mind is the fact that your internal state is contagious. If you feel uneasy and afraid, you will transfer fear and unease to the person you're talking to. If, however, you feel confident and comfortable, you will transfer comfort and confidence to the other person. So the answer to your question is, don't overthink it, just focus on having a good time and you'll find other people will have a good time talking to you.

There are two levels of communication in a seductive scenario. There is the objective, factual level where what is said and interpreted is what exists. I draw the line at agenda driven, non-reciprocated investment. For example, this: I can say with certainty that she invests in this potential relationship. While I paid for the first date, she paid for the last two, made sure her apartment was squeaky clean before I came over, cooked some snacks for me, made sure I was very comfortable, very energetic in bed and wanting to please me, always complimenting me on looks, intelligence, popularity, etc. I left her house in the morning when she said sh…

But like for on campus approaches what settings do you recommend approaching in? Generally, I found that common areas with a light to moderate amount of traffic were a good setting to approach people, but I used to talk pretty much everywhere. Waiting in line, sitting at a computer, walking past a bench, pretty much any time I saw something or someone of interest was an opportunity to chat. And also should I tell the girl if I think she’s pretty? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. If I am going to com…

Oh, that's the easy part. Pretty much anything can be a conversational opener as long as you deliver it in the right way. The most versatile openers are situational, you can just comment or ask about something of mutual interest in your general area (protip: something a person is doing or has done is always of interest to them). If they're in your classes, you can even compound that by saying "you're in my X class, right?" and segue into a more involved conversation. Sometimes those convos don't…

I pretty much never approach girls maybe because of fear of rejection but mainly because I don’t want to be seen as a creep. When you feel uncomfortable, take a conversational risk instead of withdrawing. For example, let's say you're talking to a girl in a casual setting and she says something that can be taken as a double entendre, but you feel like it'd be awkward or inappropriate to comment on it. Instead of keeping the conversation on totally safe grounds, riff off of the innuendo and watch…

I agree that the boyfriend is being stupid, but if OP didn't say anything he could have left the situation with a lot less drama. Now he's got an angry boyfriend on his ass, and it's going to be a lot harder to work on a solution with the girl (who likely has the most direct access to him out of everyone he knows and would understand how to handle him) since he probably pissed her off too. There's a chance the guy will see things the right way now that he's had some time to cool down, but some p…

Excellent post, and absolutely correct. You should be natural and be yourself, not put on a front, but this post is meant to serve as a warning to guys who feel that they need to go into overdrive when a woman acts cold. Some feel ‘instinctually’ that this is the best way to handle things, when in actuality it backfires and pushes her away further. So even if you feel like you’re acting ‘naturally’ in certain scenarios, it still can lead to more frustration. In fact, not responding positively to…

Great post! With respect to this: Is she playing "games" or being "confusing" or "playing hard to get"? even if she is playing hard to get, the correct response is still to move on.
/r/seduction04/10/21 08:23 PM
1

I would personally start with a hug, just to break the touch barrier and get a good read on how she responds. If she's reciprocating the arm then that's a good sign, and you may want do do things like draw her toward you while you're sitting, patting her other shoulder, looking into her eyes while you're talking to her, etc, etc.
/r/seduction04/10/21 07:51 AM
1

I highly doubt you've fucked up if she's still inviting you out, but you need to physically escalate if you want things to move further. Just start with low-stakes contact to break the ice, and move on from there. The key is to note how she responds to you touching her. If she likes the way you're touching her, she'll reciprocate. If she really likes the way you're touching her, she'll escalate.
/r/seduction04/10/21 04:01 AM
1

In this specific situation: physically escalate and keep her with you. It's way harder for someone to AMOG you if you're actually holding the girl. In general: Don't validate his presence in the group. AMOGs are a bit like vampires in the sense that they need an invitation before they can enter. If you're halfway through a set and an AMOG pulls up, he's not getting anywhere if you and the girl(s) reinforce the connection you already have and keep him out.

Without knowing the whole story it's hard to know everything I'd do differently, but I'd have begun with more social physical contact and assessed the nature of her reciprocation. So if you just want to have sex with her, why bother qualifying her and pretending to care for her - mostly replacable and especially often lack of qualities. It's not about whether she has an amazing personality, it's about whether you're annoyed by her behavior or if she crosses personal boundaries of yours. Start with light, social contact, then move up to more intimate forms. Let her reciprocate as you keep moving up. I find social circles are useful when they're large, and you can bank on reputation to pull extra attention in your direction. Yes, online dating gives women a broader set of options at a lower cost, but a charismatic personality and sufficient social proof can tip the odds in your favor.

I’m not really sure if I did something wrong or if she was just nervous so she didn’t really hang around. Only thing you might have done wrong is not wave her over the first time you saw her. I don't think nervousness is the reason she left, she was probably just busy and didn't have time to chat longer. All good, next time you see her just wave her over to your booth and have a longer chat. If you're selling a product, you should be doing that anyway.

The central issue you're running into is that you're stuck in the mindset of seduction being a science, when it's more like an art. All of this conflicting information resolves itself when you have enough experience to notice what advice applies to what situations, and there's no shortcut for that. You'll have to just go out and try things until you find an interpretation that works for your situation. Can't learn game out of a book.

There's some nuance to this. Yes, you definitely want the friends of the girl you're pursuing to be on your side, and you should go out of your way to be on good terms with them if you want things to go as smoothly as possible. No, you should not focus on a less attractive friend in order to get to the hotter one. It can work, if you're also focusing on the attractive one, but it runs the risk of causing a lot of drama and backfiring, especially if they catch on. If you want to gain entry into a…

Physical escalation. Look at it this way. If you walked up to a woman and just started talking about your personal issues, you'd look like a weirdo, right? But if you've had a whole progression from small talk to more personal talk, then talking about your issues doesn't seem so off, does it? The exact same principle holds for physical contact. Your bodies should have a conversation before they get personal.
/r/seduction09/09/21 10:25 PM
4

First off, get comfortable touching guys. The situations in which you first start touching a woman are the exact same as those you'd touch your male friends, light, social, friendly contact. If you're touching everyone in social ways, you get the advantage of a) not being perceived as creepy/handsy, and b) giving any interested women the chance to reciprocate and physically escalate.
/r/seduction09/09/21 10:15 PM
1

This goes against all the ‘PUA asshole game’ I’ve ever read. Most seduction material is marketed to guys who have the opposite problem, they're too nice and afraid to take risks with women so they need a kick in the arse to get them doing interesting shit. Guys who are already confident and edgy by nature usually benefit from advice that tells them to slow down, be nicer, and take the woman's perspective into account more.

Like I only approach thinking it won't go well then I'll only be happily surprised if it goes well? I see what you're trying to do here, but you'll be more effective if you assume you're likely to get a good outcome than if you don't.
/r/seduction06/09/21 04:18 AM

Based Serbs It's a lot easier to have conversations when you're not on the dancefloor. I personally prefer to go near the bar or outside for a smoke, as both places make it easier to catch someone's eye and have conversations that can be heard. I also chat people up while lining up to get in. Granted, I have had success moving onto the dancefloor myself, but I'm more of a conversationalist than a dancer. Play to your strengths. Talk to everyone, not just girls.

What advice do you have here? Best thing to do is not give a fuck. Who cares if you think you're boring? The important question is whether or not the things she does are of interest to you. If they are, then you'll never run out of things to say, and she'll find herself interested in the conversation, because there is no subject people like to discuss more than themselves. Match their energy level and get them talking about something of mutual interest. You'll most likely have to start talking in-depth to encourage her to do the same, but once you fall into a comfortable rhythm the rest follows naturally.

My advice isn't necessarily to cut her off, but definitely disengage and find someone else. She's keeping you there because she feels like she has you, and for whatever reason, she doesn't want to change your relationship status. She probably just likes feeling like she has an option. If you have someone else, though, she'll see that there's a real chance she'll lose you, and will either respond by escalating in a bid to keep you, or by disengaging, both of which will solve your problem.

Not necessarily - if you're bringing a positive vibe and talking to everyone, you'll just seem like a chill/fun guy out to have a good time. Logistics can be an issue if you need to snag a girl who's with a group of friends, and the friends want to go somewhere else and party, but if you did your job properly even that's not a major problem, especially if other logistical factors are working in your favor.

As someone who's gone to bars and clubs alone and with friends, I've only noticed a marginal improvement over going alone if I'm in a mid-sized group with chatty and attractive women in it, as this provides a bit of social proof that's harder to get on your own. Otherwise, I find that going alone gives me a lot more control over my experience, mood, and energy levels, and I'm much freer to see where the night will take me than I would be otherwise. Good question. The answer is, we know tons of women are available and that we can close them, because we know how to initiate conversations, flirt and escalate, maneuver logistics in our favor, handle last minute resistance, build and enter social circles, and basically stand out in all the ways that make us high quality options.
/r/seduction24/08/21 05:17 AM

whenever it comes to approaching women I’m always talking like I want something from them. That's because you do want something from them. Two pointers: Approach more. This will lower the relative stakes of any single approach, as you'll have a range of interactions in your memory bank and the knowledge that you'll have many more in the future. This will also help you with the second point, which is: Practice outcome-independence. Approach and have conversations with an eye toward enjoying the p…

If you read between the lines there, it went perfectly well until he tried escalating beyond her level of comfort and didn't read her signs. That second part was always creepy, but if he just had a chill walk and invited her and both their friends out for a group hangout later or even on another day, there wouldn't have been a post about it.

Handshakes are a fantastic idea because they are open and straightforward, and are a great way to gauge interest in physical contact. Fist bumps are not as great, because they don't last very long, are usually very casual, and aren't something men usually give women. Generally, an open palm signifies personal openness and trustworthiness, while a closed palm signifies emotional distance and barriers, so touching each other with open palms sets a much more positive expectation than touching with …

It's better to zero in on specific things you like about someone rather than just offering a general impression. For example, rather than saying "you look pretty", you can say something like "that's a very interesting hairstyle! Did you intentionally match the color with your dress?" If you are going with a general impression, then you should immediately follow it up with a question about something specific. For example: "You look amazing! Are you an athlete?" sounds better than "You look amazin…

Icebreakers can be anything that can be used as a plausible, low-risk excuse to start a conversation. I personally like to comment on interesting things happening in our vicinity, or better yet, on something interesting a person is doing or has done. Being genuinely interested in the thing I'm discussing makes the rest of the conversation flow more easily, since the person I'm talking to is usually also interested in that thing and both willing and able to speak confidently about it. Ultimately,…

Failing to attain comfort with your sexuality tends to manifest in risk averse behavior. When you're not aligned with your own sexuality, you tend to miss signs of her sexuality, and instead focus on trying to make sure she likes you or at least, isn't put off by you. Consequently, you find sexual tension uncomfortable, and it gets translated in your mind as nerves and as a reason to pull away rather than the opposite. So, if you have a modicum of social skills, you'll have a ton of female frien…

Welcome to the wonderful world of MILFs! 😉 A few points before we begin (scroll down to the ~ for the tl;dr): First, women who are roughly 30+ have way fewer hangups about talking to guys. While this sounds awesome, in your case it's a bit of a double edged sword because a woman of that age will have no problem initiating a conversation with a man she's interested in, but also, she'll have no problem initiating conversations with men she isn't interested in. Second, younger men who get excited a…

I'll answer both of your questions here. Do you mean touching while in conversation? In conversation, or just in general while everyone's hanging out. And what do you mean by start small What I mean is that if you want to escalate physically it starts with safer and more general forms of contact. High fives, shoulder pats, handshakes, little things that don't raise the temperature too much but which give her the opportunity to a) respond and escalate, and b) get used to touching you. This also l…

Start small and work your way up. Usually the problem here is less about the things you say and more about the things you do. Get used to initiating friendly, social touch with everyone, and you'll inevitably find that women who are receptive to you will reciprocate that back. You want to create a back and forth escalation of physical contact until more intimate contact naturally emerges from that. Usually if you're doing this properly, the verbal part of it follows naturally.

Badass post, and I completely agree! One thing I'd make more explicit here is about attaining full comfort with one's sexuality and sexual nature as an important component of being attractive. The on-paper advantages can be undermined by an inability to bring one's nature to bear, while on-paper imperfections can be mitigated and overcome completely if a dude (or for that matter, a chick) is able to project magnetic sexual energy in a way women resonate with. This can be hard to articulate prope…
