I never got the notification for this comment so I didn’t see what he said. What was the comment?

Hey I was mostly talking about the comments of this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/IncelExit/s/KOqeBwAi0E I do see now that it was less “gaslighting” and more just questioning to make sure
/r/ExRedPill26/03/24 10:38 PM

Yes you’re right. That explanation makes more sense. Thanks for the reply

Okay that’s a good point. But it’s kind of hard to have evidence for something that happened to you. Like when someone tells you a story do you say “prove it” or do you just take their word for it
/r/ExRedPill26/03/24 12:52 PM
14

Okay that makes a lot more sense. And yes most of what I have seen isn’t just people flat out saying “that didn’t happen” but more questioning it. Thanks for the response.

I’m not really talking about this stuff though. I’m talking about when a guy on this subreddit talks about a singular experience that happened to him, like a woman being horrible to him or something. And people in the comments just straight up say that it didn’t happen.
/r/ExRedPill26/03/24 12:22 PM
-13

But what if someone was talking about an experience that actually did happen to them, and you just said that they were exaggerating because you assumed they were catastrophizing. It would be very frustrating to ask for advice on something that happened to you only to have people claim that it didn’t happen. They experienced it, you didn’t. How do you know better than them about their own life?

Yeah this pretty much perfectly explains my situation, I just feel like I don’t have my shit together enough to be in a relationship. I hope things work out for you!

Yeah it’s not really a red pill thing I just thought that it was kind of red pill adjacent because it has to do with relationships with women, and this sub is usually more empathetic and gives better advice than other subs. For some reason I just feel like most women look down on me and see me as beneath them. I know this probably isn’t true but it’s how I feel. I don’t think I make women uncomfortable, because I’m so scared of making them uncomfortable that I usually try to keep my interactions…

I don’t do anything that would make me seem that way. I just worry that people might see me that way or I’d make them uncomfortable (especially women) which is why if I’m not friends with a woman I’ll pretty much avoid her completely
/r/ExRedPill23/03/24 05:28 AM

I’m not really sure why, I’ve never been bullied or anything like that. I’ve just always seen myself as kind of a weirdo/loser/creep
/r/ExRedPill22/03/24 10:21 PM
2

Yes I think that is a really good way of putting it. It’s hard to imagine myself in a relationship because I’ve never experienced it before, so it just kind of feels surreal or out of reach.

I feel romantic and sexual attraction. I want to be in a relationship, I just can’t see myself in one because I have a really negative view of myself.

I wish it was different. I want to be in a relationship.

Yes but I’ll never know for sure if she does
/r/ExRedPill16/03/24 08:19 PM

Yes this is true. But I’m only 17 and I feel like it’s normal to have low self esteem as a teenager
/r/ExRedPill16/03/24 07:54 PM

I’d tell her that isn’t true because I love her and I only want to be with her
/r/ExRedPill16/03/24 07:51 PM

Yeah that’s true. I just feel like she’ll always be thinking about how she could be with someone better
/r/ExRedPill16/03/24 06:26 PM

But to me someone staying with me just because it’s “safer” would be just as bad. Also I’m not really taking about celebrity crushes but more real people that they actually know/knew.

I’m not really struggling with dating, I just haven’t even started dating yet, I’m only 17. But yes I would be fine dating an average looking girl. But I would date her because I really liked her personality, and then if her personality was attractive, that would have an affect on how I see her and she would physically be very attractive to me even if she’s just “average”. Im more worried about my future gf being with me, but still constantly thinking about the guy she really wanted, and wishing…

I don’t have the guts to ask anyone out. I’m not afraid of rejection, I’m afraid of her thinking I’m creepy.
/r/ExRedPill14/03/24 05:23 AM

Sorry for the late reply. My problem is that I don’t really get crushes anymore, so I don’t know who I’d ask out. Also I don’t know how I would take rejection because I’ve never been rejected. I’ve never had the guts to ask anyone out.

No reason to be a dick
/r/ExRedPill14/03/24 05:10 AM
2

Yes I will try harder to just ignore assholes. All I’m trying to say is that if someone claims to care about body positivity but still uses insults like “small dick energy” then that is contradictory
/r/ExRedPill13/03/24 03:38 PM
-2

I know that’s not the point but it’s a side effect. Saying that insecure men have small dick energy, indirectly reinforces the idea that all men with small dicks are insecure and have no confidence. If a man said “loose pussy energy” to describe an insecure woman, that still wouldn’t be okay.
/r/ExRedPill13/03/24 03:19 PM
-3

I disagree with this. If someone is being a dick to you, so you call them fat, you’re not only insulting them but also every fat person who didn’t do anything wrong. Body positivity shouldn’t be conditional on whether the person being shamed is a good person or not. If their personality is the problem, insult their personality.
/r/ExRedPill13/03/24 03:12 PM
1

Saying small dick energy is still body shaming in my opinion because it further pushes the narrative that penis size is something to insult and be ashamed of. It also implies that all men with small penises are insecure and have no confidence.
/r/ExRedPill13/03/24 03:09 PM
1

Lmao
/r/ExRedPill13/03/24 03:02 PM
3

I understand that but saying “small dick energy”, still reinforces the idea that penis size is something to be ashamed of and made fun of
/r/ExRedPill13/03/24 03:01 PM

I know that it’s bad I’m just asking if other people agree
/r/ExRedPill13/03/24 09:38 AM

By “is it okay” I mean is it socially acceptable. But yes I get what you’re saying
/r/ExRedPill13/03/24 09:19 AM
12

But I feel like stuff like this shouldn’t be conditional. Like if you body shame someone when they piss you off, then you’re basically insulting other people with the same body even though they didn’t do anything wrong. So I feel like it’s better to shit talk their garbage personality
/r/ExRedPill13/03/24 08:06 AM

Also thanks for the advice!

I really enjoy playing guitar, I just need to be more consistent with it. I often get really motivated, but then I get into a kind of depressive episode and go weeks without playing.

My life feels kind of empty and bland a lot of the time. I have pretty bad ocd and intrusive thoughts which makes it difficult to do things I enjoy sometimes. I’m just trying to finish high school rn so that I can have more control over my life.

It’s just my parents and my aunt that have been divorced. And my mom and aunt were both completely in the right in those situations

That’s really what you got from this? Lol

No I love cooking so I’d rather do more of the cooking in the relationship. I think that cooking and cleaning should be split evenly and don’t really count as a nice fun gesture. I’m more talking about stuff that people go out of there way to do, unasked just because they love the other person and want to help
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 04:51 PM
1

And yes most of my close friends have been in pretty shitty relationships with shitty people
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 04:42 PM

Things like randomly buying him his favourite chocolate bar, or making him coffee in the morning just to make his day easier, or cleaning his car just to help him out. It seems like if women do these things other people say stuff like “you’re not his mom, you shouldn’t do stuff like that for him”

I have female friends but none of them are dating or anything. And I think if I brought up this subject they’d think I was hitting on them or something

I will check those out as well. I would just rather not watch a romance where one of the leads sexually assaults the other and it’s completely glossed over.
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 03:44 PM

Okay I’ll check it out. I can’t say since I haven’t seen it but from what I’ve heard people say it sounds like the circumstances around her getting pregnant are dubious at best

Doesn’t the main female character in bridgerton basically sa the main male character and force him to have a kid when he doesn’t want to?
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 03:35 PM
2

No I’m not saying that women are void of personality, I’m saying that self insert characters typically are because it’s easier to project your own personality on to them
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 03:33 PM
0

Usually in romance the woman is the self insert character, so she’s usually pretty plain and void of personality. The man however is quite often the “ideal man” or “the dream man” so he usually is the one doing the bulk of the romantic gestures and wooing, while the woman just kind of lets it happen.
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 03:29 PM
2

Yes but usually in the romance genre the man does all the work and is perfect, without the woman doing much in return
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 03:24 PM

“Grand romantic gestures” was completely the wrong way for me to put it. I was more talking about small things that people do within a relationship to make their partners life easier or help them out.
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 02:33 PM

I was more asking about stuff they do once they’re in a relationship but yeah that’s a lot
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 02:18 PM
10

You make a lot of good points and I have realized that my original post was incorrect. It’s nice to hear that you do all that stuff for your husband. I would also much rather my relationship have little gestures than big grand ones. And as for the part about women dropping hints, personally I’d be ecstatic if a girl just flat out told me she liked me, but maybe I’m the minority. Anyways, thanks very much for your comment!
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 01:21 PM

Yeah good point. I don’t even know what I’m saying anymore tbh.
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 01:09 PM

Yeah I realize now that women do a lot of nice stuff like that. I can’t really ask my relatives though because literally all of my adult relatives are divorced lol
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 12:49 PM
-4

I know that women do all of this important stuff. But isn’t it generally seen as a bad thing? When the woman does all of this stuff in a relationship people look down on it and say stuff like “you’re his wife, not his mom”.

My account is too new to post on this sub, I’ll try in a few days maybe

Can you give me some examples of the harder work women do?
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 12:37 PM
-2

Just societally it seems like men are expected to be more active in the relationship whereas women are more passive, which results in men putting in more effort. Also thanks I will try that subreddit
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 12:31 PM
-6

Most of the women I know are single or teenagers without much experience. Also that would be kind of a weird question to ask lol
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 12:28 PM
-4

And also usually when women have to pick up their husbands slack and do everything around the house, it’s not seen as a good thing. They usually complain about it, and it’s even a reason for divorce a lot of the time.
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 11:59 AM
-10

I get what you’re saying. But the only thing you’re talking about is domestic labour, and I already said I wouldn’t expect her to do the majority of it. You’re assuming that my relationship would have traditional gender roles where I go to work and she cooks/cleans, but I would prefer if we both did these things
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 11:57 AM
-13

Yes that would be a nice thing to do. But we weren’t talking about picking up your partners slack, we were talking about doing your fair share.
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 11:37 AM
-1

I’m talking more about people that are already in a relationship. It’s easier to tell someone you love them than it is to do something that shows someone you love them.
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 11:21 AM
1

Yeah true I’ll do that
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 11:18 AM
0

I’m not really talking about buying things, I just mean actions. Like doing something that shows that you love your partner instead of just saying it. And I don’t mean to come off as confrontational, but that just kind of sounds like an excuse.
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 11:17 AM
1

Yeah that would be a completely understandable reason. I think people are getting too hung up on the divorce part when it was just one example.
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 11:06 AM
1

Don’t people always say that men have too high of standards for women though?
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 11:05 AM
-14

I have realized now that those examples were dumb. However, I’m not really talking about the “work” parts of a relationship. I’m more talking about nice random little things that partners do for each other that they don’t have to do, but they do it because they want to. It seems like men do more of these things. And yes, if I was in a relationship with a woman I would want it to be 50/50. I would do just as much housework as her, but I would also expect her to have a job.
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 11:04 AM
1

Yes I have realized that divorce wasn’t a good example to prove my point
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 10:56 AM
-3

Yeah I think that the marriage example probably wasn’t the best. But as for my other points, it seems like women’s way of showing love are usually through words and men show love through actions. And I just think that words take less effort and don’t mean as much.
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 10:55 AM
2

Wdym? Like men that have low standards?
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 10:52 AM
-2

If I had a relationship I would love doing nice things for my girlfriend. I’d do stuff all the time to make her day easier or make her happy. But I’m worried that she wouldn’t do the same for me and this would cause resentment.
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 10:10 AM
1

Yeah I realize that movies are probably not the best thing to go on. However I’m not really talking about initiating relationships, I’m more so talking about women that are already in relationships.
/r/ExRedPill11/03/24 09:55 AM
-33

I don’t know, there could be many reasons. But that statistic could represent the fact that men are more willing to fix their relationship, whereas women are more likely to give up on it.

I’m 17, and I have a few female friends but I’m not super close with them. I have never been in a relationship. And yes I think you’re right that passive and active are better words for what I’m trying to say. It seems like men are much more active in relationships whereas women just kind of let the relationship happen to them. I know this isn’t a great example for real life, but it still kind of represents how society expects relationships to be: rom coms. In rom coms the man does literally eve…

Hey. I’ve seen statistics that say that women file for divorce more, and it’s just kind of a known thing that men are expected to make the first move and propose. Just based off of stories I’ve heard and things I’ve seen, It just seems like men are expected to do all this nice stuff and put in a lot of effort but women don’t really reciprocate as much.

Thanks for the advice! And yeah I’m just gonna keep living life and not worrying too much about it. The only thing is that a lot of my friends have already had multiple girlfriends and I sometimes worry that I’m falling behind. But you’re right that I should just chill and not worry about it right now.
/r/ExRedPill10/03/24 10:20 AM

Yeah you’re probably right. It’s just gotten to the point where I can’t even imagine myself in a relationship. Like if a girl liked me and I liked her back I genuinely don’t even know what I’d do. I know I’m still really young, but for some reason I feel very jaded when it comes to this kind of stuff.

I’m 17. I meet new people an okay amount. Most of the girls I meet are through my other friends or at parties/ social gatherings. Women just seem generally uninterested in me, they don’t talk to me first, they never really seem enthusiastic about being around me. They don’t hate me but they just seem to not think about me much.

I don’t really get crushes anymore. I used to get huge crushes on certain girls but that just hasn’t happened lately. I’ll see certain girls and think “she’s pretty” or something like that but it never goes further than that. Also I have literally no idea how to flirt without seeming like a huge creep, so I try to keep my interactions with women as clean as possible (not sure if clean is the right word but idk lol). And I’m fairly sure none of the girls I know are attracted to me, I think they w…
