I watched Mad Max for the first time last night and loved it. Told my friend who also loved it and her first response was "the best part was all the red pillers tears because it had a string female lead". Does everything need to be made into a political point? Mad Max was awesome, Ghostbusters looks like a bad reboot. It happens with male or female casts. Doesn't need to be a huge blow for whatever group.

You're oversimplifying it heavily. The first third of the movie is about them trying to find a place and a vehicle and get big, they catch slimmer and spend act 2 on them getting big and being heroes. Act 3 is when things start going bad, but again it seems they mostly go bad because that guy is shutting down their business (and containment machine) so it's not fair to say the "Ghostbusters" company is a minor part of the film.

The point is and remains, those were choices made by her for her husband. Splitting assets seems fair, as apparently she contributed a ton, but to expect him to continue supports her is insane. Feminism isn't the enemy, the indifference of the public is. Everyone has been brainwashed to think women are oppressed and need to be protected.
