Go meet him be friendly. Chances are he might be a really good guy. When I met my ex wife’s new boyfriend, he’s a bit of a dork, but overall is a pretty nice guy. He treats my ex-wife very well and my daughter has yet to say one bad thing about him. If the guys a good guy who cares it’s just another positive male role model for your kids

It’s normal. You still have a connection to your ex. It’ll pass brother. You’ll feel dirty or guilty subconsciously. But in reality you aren’t doing anything wrong. Just when you feel that way remind yourself, you’ll are over. You aren’t doing anything wrong.

I’ll humor another woman telling me she loves me. But I’ll never trust it and I’ll never truly trust her. But I can put on an act an just enjoying the next ride knowing it will end at some point.

I just met my ex wife’s new guy about two weeks ago. And I treated that guy like he was my bro I haven’t seen in a while, so no I know everything he heard about me he’s second-guessing and on top of that acting like we’re good friends in front of my ex-wife and seeing her all disgusted about it… I felt so fucking good.

My daughter makes fun of her moms new BF says he’s a short bald goober and just an odd ball. She made my dad and didn’t even realize it. But tbh, the new guy makes my ex happy and treats my daughter well when he is around. I can’t complain it could be way worse. At least I know he’s a decent dude, just kinda weird apparently lol

I don’t have a bitchy cut of an ex-wife making my every day a living hell anymore. I can wake up calmly put on TV super cup of coffee and hang out with my dog no questions asked.. I eat what I want when I want I don’t have to run it by anybody. I can go out and do what I want with who I want no questions asked. The only downfall is I don’t see my daughter every day anymore. That’s all.

We’re all divorced we’ve all been put through the ringer by someone we loved and trusted more than anyone. It’s only natural that we’re super hesitant and on edge and high alert going into a new relationship. Anything that reminds us of the one that broke us is an immediate red flag and starts to put a bit of doubt in your mind. I myself have already ended two relationships fairly quickly and early on into them because the red flags shot showing and I’m not dealing with that again so I have no p…

You got understand most people aren’t stupid and most relationships and the exact same way. People who know know what she’s doing and just choose not to care or get involved in anyone else’s drama. Just get through your break up is clean easy as possible if you still want those friends reach out if they choose her fuck it you know they weren’t worthwhile friends anyway

Block her from direct means of communication your phone text message what’s up. On your social media restrict her. So you don’t see her or her post on social media. But keep doing stuff keep having fun going out seeing people taking pictures and post all that shit to your social media because you know she’s watching.

She thought the grass was gonna be greener she went out and played the field. she’s realizing all these guys only want to sleep with her and no one actually cared for her like you did. So now she’s starting to panic and start to try and Hoover you back in because you’re the only person who ever cared. Don’t forget she already tossed you aside like you weren’t worth it shell do it again.

Yeah that’s the whole thing. Women are all trying to be independent and become the men they want. They’re just getting divorced now because they think in a hive mind and it’s trendy and they get rewarded for it. All these boys have seen grandpop dads uncles brothers get absolutely destroyed in divorce. An we are starting to not commit to women. Look on the other side of Tik tok they’re all complaining no guy is taking me serious everything is a situationship. Blah blah blah.

Betrayal sucks. You’re constantly reminded of it because you have to coparent. Go talk to a professional buddy. Did wonders for me they would make you think about a situation a certain way and your whole mindset will shift towards healing. Good luck!

You got a remember most of these women that were talking about in these comments are late 30s. They’re going through their midlife crisis hoe phase they’re just gonna make a ton of bad decisions over the next few years. Just realize they didn’t have the ability to control their own emotions or impulses. And if you can’t do that by the time you’re almost 40… I’d say count it as a blessing because that woman Just proof she has the temperament of a child.

Same exact story bro except my daughter is 11 and she’s been telling me all about it. Literally a month after I moved out she was in a “committed relationship”. Funny part is they’re still all hush hush because they’re affair partners. So it’s like all done in secrete. Like come on a cheater an a man who fucks married women. I can’t wait until they go public so I can let everyone know when an how they met.

What you need to understand is when women want to leave they’re usually half a year to year ahead of us on leaving the relationship. And they normally have another man to monkey branch to to avoid all the negative emotions and repercussions of a break up. The new guy is nothing but a distraction from her self. She’s not gonna work on anything that she needed to that she did wrong in the marriage or things that she needs to change and become a better partner. She seems super happy right now becau…

15 mins with my Ex is about all I can handle. An my interactions consist of. “Cool” “That’s cool” “Ok” “Whatever” “That’s fine” “No” An that’s about all she gets out of me these days. I don’t engage in conversations. I don’t look directly at her. I give my daughter all the attention when the ex is around and get us out of there as fast as possible.

It’s fresh relax. It sounds like she doesn’t really know how to break up with someone and doesn’t really wanna hurt your feelings. even though she has a new boyfriend she obviously still cares and doesn’t want to hurt you anymore. Or she’s just gas lighting you as a backup in case new guy bails. As far as recovery time that’s different for everybody Boss. They’re not gonna be “better” with the next person they’re with or their affair partner. That relationship most likely started in secret with one being a “cheater” and the other having “no problem fucking a married person.” Sure let them date they might sit in Limerence for a year or three.. but it’ll all come crashing down because they’re both terrible people. Women don’t heal after relationships they monkey branch to the next one so they are literally the same person. every downfall they had w…

Oh I can’t disagree the person my ex-wife has turned into in the past seven months I can’t even recognize. I understand our marriage was over and it was time to MoveOn which is cool. But the sheer selfishness and the regression she’s having in her personality and her mothering ability right now is embarrassing. Also breathing teq can help ease anxiety. Do this 3x. Take a deep breathe until you can’t breath in anymore. Then take 1 more little breath in an hold it. Exhale slowly.

anxiety mix with a mild panic attack because what you perceive as reality is being uprooted. Youre subconsciously on high alert almost like you’re in a fight or flight mode. You need to exert some energy go work out go for a run hit a heavy bag. Doing something and staying active will ease your mind. Sitting around in your house that you share with your soon to be ex-wife is going to drive you nuts.

Seeing them with someone else should break that last chain holding on. Of course you loved your wife. An remember those good times. But never forget who she really was at the end, that’s who she is now. This new guy is getting the damaged flawed version of your Ex, an when they get with their affair partner it’s a cheater an someone who is cool with fuckin someone else’s wife. Let’s see how well that ends up.

It’s because they monkey branch. They slowly break up with you for six months to a year of getting a new man and have 1 foot out the door then when I leave suddenly there’s a happy safe ever been with some new person and you’re blind sighted in Fucking crushed and can’t figure out what happened. My wife got with her affair partner weeks after we separated. Now she says they’re official. But they’re scared to post anything. It’s never easy I apologize. When you and your person that long just grow apart it’s devastating especially if it’s amicable which it seems to be. You’re gonna end up splitting up but not really having any major issues. I feel like that almost makes it a little bit harder it’s easier to break up with someone when you hate them. You’re young. So I’ll tell you this. At least you’re learning young. Never ever marry again. Once you do it’s a power grab for the majority of women. Try not to carry guilt we all fuck up in relationships. All you can do is reflect on who you were in that relationship and what you didn’t do right and the reasons why your woman left you. Your best bet is to realign your life to become the person she would’ve never left. One will be a better version of yourself happier and then a better place. Don’t leave anything as a man you control whether or not you’re in a relationship if she’s into you. She knows you went through a divorce she knows you’re probably on the fence so if you play cool I can just hang out and you guys still are into each other after a certain period of time and you want to move forward go for it. If you don’t put a label on it and she’s into you still gonna hang out for a while to see if she’s girlfriend material.

You need to take accountability for being an alcoholic and work on your problem. You being an addict is making her feel like she can’t rely on you keep that in mind. Go see your therapist together she obviously still cares go talk to someone and figure out your shit. If you’re both still in love and she’s on the fence put in the work show some effort for her. Don’t run away to your parents don’t pick up a bottle. Go to therapist find out your issues fix them and quit drinking.

That’s what I did in Pennsylvania it was pretty straightforward go to the courthouse tell them you want to uncontested divorce they’ll print you out the paperwork show you what the sign was the check give it to your wife she will then sign it turn it back in and you should get a court date to finalize it. Cost us about $400.

I’m pretty newly divorced after a 15 year relationship at one child. I love the shit out of my wife but we had mixed matched libidos and love language. On top of that she changed her career and wants to be a boss bitch so ultimately we just want it different things. I’m 36 and just recently got divorced my wife is 38. I’m not a stud by any means but I am easily a seven in good shape with great hair and beard think a Viking with the swimmers build lol. On top of that I’m a pretty smooth talker. The sheer amount of women from 28 to 50 calling me a dreamboat and the googly eyes they make when I talk to them 😍. just makes me realize how shit most men must treat these women. When guys get comfortable in a relationship we tend to idolize our partner and bend over backwards for them. We tend to lack boundaries and pretty much act like a beta. You have to keep women in their place despite what they say they do like to be told what to do and put you in a power position in a masculine position.
/r/Divorce_Men28/04/23 05:35 AM

100% my guy. I had a similar pen pal issue with my ex. Something about the fantasy of it all they love. I’m juggling quite a few at the moment for fun. An you can tell the ones that will do anything for you. Keep dangling a dollar for them an just enjoy life an free attention an sex. An who knows one day we might meet a girl worth dating, but remember keep it dating only.

My ex-wife is still pretty good looking. But the entitled personality and masculine features from being a boss babe make those luxe not matter in the slightest on top of being a single mom just keep her sliding down the sexual market value ladder.

Modern women are just inherently unhappy. Would you live with a woman at some point some thing you do will make them resent you. The luster and excitement of being with you goes away once they’re with you all the time. When they’re single all they want is a man. And they have a man all they want is to be married. When they’re married all they want is to be single and do what they want. They’re always inherently unhappy no matter their situation they find a negative and woe is me.

Course she doesn’t want you to get divorced. No child wants to see their family split apart. Congrats just talked to my wife today. We agreed we just became friends at some point. Going to go 50/50 no alimony and no child support. I’m looking at a place this weekend. If we stay separated for a year it’s a no fault divorce. Wish you’ll just as much luck!

5 year mark is when they normally bail. Also she out earns you so she doesn’t respect you anymore. Best bet, act like you don’t give a fuck say ok and leave. It’s not coming back.

If your kids are little don’t bother dating. Just have a few female FwB in the same situation. (But don’t tell them that lol).

Your kids will be happier to see you happy. I never resented my dad for leaving my mom. They may not completely understand everything but they’re kids. It all makes sense one day.

Marriage isn’t worth it anymore. Chances are you end up heartbroken an robbed of everything you’ve worked for.

You’ll never not love the mother of your child. She will always be special to you. An you’ll never think another man is good enough for her, an you will worry for her well being. It’s natural. My dad was married 4 times (fool yes I know lol) but forever talks about my mom an only really ever caring for her because it’s my mom. It’s a special bond. I love my wife, I always will. But I don’t want to be with her. But I also don’t want to ever see her with someone lol. It’s an odd feeling. But ultim…

Also, be strong be quiet. Say very little she will eventually start rambling on trying to bait you into an argument. Let her get worked up. Give a lot of nods. Okays. That’s cool. Alright. She will most likely end up telling on herself out of frustration. Let her speak it’ll all spill out.

I agree. Download WhatsApp put in her number to see if she has an account. If she does…. Sorry bro. Also if she’s all over Snapchat or endlessly on IG it’s a wrap. I guarantee if you snoop your gut instinct will be dead on. The sad truth is Almost all modern women are 304s

She didn’t fall outa love. She’s falling for someone else. Also if she’s mid 30s she’s hitting her wall/midlife crisis and they go straight hoe phase girls nights etc. once you do some research you realize how all to common this is in modern women. But even if you’re hurt, you’ll win in the end. No man with value wants “used good” or to raise someone else’s children. She may think she’s hot shit an the grass will be greener. It will be for you not her. We always win in the end.
