I cried everyday for a little while, 5 months. Missing my daughter. These days, 10 months later from when the hurt started going away, I may every few weeks when I remember what that grief felt like when I was being denied contact with my daughter for 6 months. I focus on other things. I'm programming again and creating things I've always wanted to because the tools are more helpful now. That has helped.

I'd be disappointed in her.

Your lawyer should get a copy of it for you to view it privately at their office. I had to take one, and a protective order was put on it to where my wife would not be able to talk about it publicly without getting introuble for doing so.

Definitely don't expect anything, but do prepare yourself for ghosting after just one date. Don't take the ghosting personal. Everyone is busy these days, especially if they have children. Just move on to the next one if she does ghost you. I've gotten way more than I expected on the first date from several women and have been ghosted a few times after the first date. Make the most of it and have fun. (Trim and make sure you smell good.)

I experienced the same thing. Lawyers will feed into it so that they up their own credibility by "winning." My advice, go through texts, bank statements, pictures, videos and find anything and everything you can to put doubt on the lies. One of my favorite ones from when my ex lied in discovery documents was that I hadn't worked anywhere longer than 8 months when we were married. I worked several places a year or more. Worked my favorite job for 2 years up until I became a stay at home dad. The …

My soon to be ex recorded me at a low period then proceeded to lie her ass off about everything prior to the recordings. A good friend who had been through the same thing with his ex said, "It's now you vs her. That person you were married to no longer exists. She's now the enemy." That's when I went digging and found double the evidence against her. She made a deal right before an evidence hearing. Fight her with everything you have.

It's wild. I met a guy who was a grad student while she was in a position above the grad students. I played video games with him and his brother, we'd hang out like bros, he even came from Wisconsin to Missouri to hang out for the weekend after he graduated. Doesn't even talk to me now. Many of these people had been around me drunk and sober for years, we'd go to bars, go bowling, have small parties together. Then, all of a sudden, I'm a piece of shit. If it weren't for my fraternity brothers an…

Pretty much everyone that we met while together, after we graduated college together, unfriended me immediately after it was over. With the exception of a few people who liked me more than her and know who she really is. I lost 400 social media friends overnight. Everyone who I was friends with before her is still by my side. Especially my buddies from high school. You'll find out who your friends are, that's for sure.

Yea I had been a stay at home dad from when she was born until she was almost 1 and half. The wife took her and left 2 months before she turned 2. Now she's 3.

When my daughter was kept from me for 180 days, I cried every single day. I got a new job, cried there. Cried when I got home. But every single day, I got up and went to work. I did that I had to do even though I felt like quitting every day. I fought to see her and I won in some ways and lost in others. No savings, no retirement at 35. But I'm getting time with my daughter.

It's wild knowing I'm not the only one that's face false accusations and had my child kept from me.

Fair point and I've considered that's why they do it. My issue is her not driving her own vehicle while simultaneously asking for something like child support when I've been paying debt that's half hers and since I've put thousands of dollars into my car and thousands of miles on my car. She also has a restraining order against me that shes broken multiple times since I started getting my daughter outside of supervised visits.

I rented because I used about $15k in my divorce and have a ton of debt, so buying a house was out of the question. Been renting since February 2024. Found a job making 47.5k a year then was promoted to a leadership position, got a certificate in positive behavior supports to be a positive behavior supports specialist on top of being the admissions coordinator for where I work. Now make $61350. I was also asked to be an ABA therapist and make $30/hr doing that after work and on weekends, make ab…

There were recordings of me during a mental breakdown where I got angry with her. Didn't hit her, didn't throw things, didn't threaten her bodily harm. But I did go off about her dad. She then used the silver bullet technique to say I'd been angry our entire marriage of 11 years, wasn't a good dad, all sorts of lies that I had proof against. She settled right before an evidence hearing, and I had more than double the evidence that she had to fight her lies. But because of the four 5 to 10 minute…

Congrats! My, hopefully, soon to be ex fought me for over a year for custody rights to our child and cost me about $14k and bankrupt herself because custody is tied into the divorce. I can't wait to sign the final papers

When I was with my wife, I made it a point not to check her phone or look at it. To show trust I didn't want to know if there was something going on. I did come up behind her onetime to see she had been snapchatting her younger male staff members. She was a hall director at a university. I asked her why she was using snapchat to talk to them. Her reply was that she did that with the females, too. Was odd to me. One of the reasons my feelings for her deteriorated.

Have you talked to your partner about how you feel yet?

Ask if you can settle it amicably or consult a divorce lawyer. I consulted 2 lawyers and picked one that I thought was going to be great. But, $11k to him later, $25 an email and $300 for his appearance in court, plus other fees for things like filing motions, I'm still not divorced. She took the kid and left me on 10/26/2023. Was served divorce papers at the beginning of November 2023.

I lost 400 "friends" on social media overnight, one of my sisters turned on me, my father turned on me. There were 2 weeks in October 2023 where I cracked. I had had enough of her behaviors, my job as a mental health worker, her parents, being 34 having let my dreams slip for hers. I'll forever be the bad guy now.

Thank you! She gets to see my mom and step dad again today, so I'm pretty excited about that. They haven't seen her since summer 2023, when she was 1 and a half because of her mother's antics. But yet her parents are my daughter's caretakers every single day.

I think it was because it bankrupt her. She filed for bankruptcy around September. I also found over 100 pieces of evidence to combat the lies she put in her documents and told everyone else. An evidence trial would have made me look bad because of a mental breakdown I had, but I told the truth the entire time while she lied. Her lawyer may have told her to make a deal because I was totally prepared to take the stand against her.

Divorce started in November 2023 I started a new job in January 2024. There was a cute scheduler at the front who I immediately noticed when I was coming in and out for interviews and paperwork. Sometime in early February, the executive director comes into my office and asks me if I think the scheduler is cute. I say yes, and she tells me that she thinks I'm cute too and that we should date. So, I make the first move by writing "Hi :)" in binary on a sticky note and put it on her desk. I get her…

Mine did the same thing to me. I lost 400 friends on Facebook overnight because she said I abused her and that I was a narcissist. She's lied the entire time during our divorce too.

Congrats. Mine has been ongoing since November 2023. The wife fought me over simple visitation rights for a year to where I had to do supervised visitations in April 2023 just to see my daughter again. At the end of October, right before an evidence trial, she finally made a deal for me to graduate from supervised visits and have my daughter every other weekend in February 2025. I just finished my last 8 hour unsupervised visitation with my daughter yesterday. Next Saturday, I'll get to bring he…

I have but he doesn't say much and it usually takes him several days to respond. He has said he will cross examine her during our trial but I'm worried about who the judge will believe.
