Has anyone else seen their ex's parents coddle their ex wife during and after a divorce? Me 35yrs old, ex 35yrs old.

I started doing Facetimes with my daughter in March 2024 after my wife and I split. She always does our facetimes at her parent's home, that is 40 minutes from hers and we do them on Wednesdays and Sundays. Then I started doing supervised visits in April 2024, once a week. My wife's parents drove her to every single visit. Flash forward to November 2024 where I started meeting with my ex to pick my daughter up for 5 hours every Saturday, her parents still drove her or met her at the drop off, they live 40 minutes away, the ex lived 6 minutes from the drop off. They did that from November through the end of December.

Now we are meeting halfway, 1.5 hours for each of us. Her parents are still driving her to the drop off spot.

I get that she wants them there to feel protected but it kinda bugs me that they are using an old beat up vehicle to drive her to the drop off spot when I've put thousands of miles on my car to pick her up or drive 6 hour round trips to do the supervised visits.
