The patriarchy is the reason why men’s mental health isn’t taken seriously!!! /s
/r/EverydayMisandry29/11/24 09:20 AM
1

All this shows is the misandrist pressure on men to “get women”
/r/EverydayMisandry15/10/24 07:08 PM
2

But they can make their own posts about how people say that stuff to women. And men also are told these kinds of things anyways
/r/EverydayMisandry10/10/24 05:16 PM
1

Such hypocrites. I bet they claim that men only talk about men being raped when female victims are mentioned but they’re doing the exact same thing. There is a time and place for those conversations but not when a man is dead. And they act like men don’t already go through shit for being victims of women
/r/EverydayMisandry10/10/24 05:15 PM
8

I don’t care if these people live in fear because of their own prejudice. If you’re making misandrists uncomfortable by just existing, that’s on them.
/r/EverydayMisandry24/09/24 07:18 PM
2

Korean feminists are really bad especially
/r/EverydayMisandry10/09/24 09:27 AM
2

We shouldn’t care what women think
/r/MensRights05/09/24 09:10 AM

On paper, left wing ideology is best for men. LGBT rights, wealth equality, progressivism, etc. I don’t think conservatives care about men when they support gender roles and tradition
/r/MensRights03/09/24 06:11 AM
42

It never even was “women=men”. They have always been sexist

To be honest, the company usually is lenient when dealing with this stuff but they immediately kicked him out when this happened so it’s looking likely but of course, we can’t be sure just yet

The idol is Taeil from NCT btw
/r/EverydayMisandry28/08/24 05:25 PM
30

A male idol is being investigated for sex crimes. Of course, people are very angry at the idol for this but are using it to justify misandry. There are many posts saying to never trust men and “men will always be men”. Many people are encouraging people to support Korean women and the 4B movement (which is misandrist). However we already know that Korean feminism is extremely misandrist and disgusting so I will not be supporting Korean feminists or defending them
/r/EverydayMisandry28/08/24 05:24 PM

I understand why so many Korean men hate feminists

Heterosexual sex benefits women sexually if they are active

When we express a desire for a woman to show us love in return we are ridiculed. Why is it so bad for me to want to split the bill with a woman on a date?
/r/MensRights13/08/24 04:50 PM

Good for you! More people need to do this
/r/MensRights13/08/24 04:46 PM

I’m also bisexual and only thinking of dating men now
/r/MensRights13/08/24 04:46 PM
8

What is the point in dating women then?
/r/MensRights12/08/24 02:34 PM

I think shaming penis size is still misandry/sexism because it’s tied to the idea that men with bigger penises are “more of a man” and vice versa
/r/EverydayMisandry10/08/24 09:47 AM
16

Not just hatred but also sexism
/r/EverydayMisandry10/08/24 09:46 AM

Shaming penis size is misandry because it is tied to the perception of manhood

I honestly think that pop divas are carried by their gay male fans
/r/EverydayMisandry10/08/24 09:04 AM
2

True. I wouldn’t mind providing more during pregnancy if she can’t work but I’m can’t actually have biological children so in my case it wouldn’t apply
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/24 10:28 AM
1

I see so many people saying men should pay on the first date and hating on men for wanting 50/50
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/24 10:25 AM
2

Tbh it’s just kinda annoying that it’s all about trying to win over and impress the girl like you’re auditioning just for her rather than it going both ways. And many (not all) women would rather be with men with money while men don’t really have that option
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/24 08:51 PM

Men need to care more about men than women
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/24 08:48 PM

What counts as pretending to be a platonic friend though? If you don’t intend to be friends but come across that way, then what? Sorry, I am autistic and get confused with this stuff. If I’m trying to get to know a girl, I might come off as trying to be her friend but how can I know if I want to be her friend or date her until I’m close with her?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/24 08:46 PM

What if you’re trying to get to know someone and end up having feelings for them. They may see you as a friends but you never explicitly said that or intended to be her friend
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/24 08:44 PM
1

Orgasm gap is women’s problem though and easily fixed
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/24 08:42 PM

How do I learn it
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/24 08:40 PM
1

No they’re not. Women get treated much better in the whole while men are left behind. MGTOW is literally the opposite you just think all men want sex
/r/MensRights07/05/24 07:02 PM
8

I understand the length of the sentence but physical castration is just male sexual violence
/r/MensRights28/04/24 03:04 PM
6

Misandry kills and has always been worse than misogyny
/r/MensRights21/04/24 06:15 AM
3

Basically all other words are reserved for men. I’ve never heard a woman be called a “dickhead”
/r/EverydayMisandry11/04/24 06:42 AM
8

It feels like men can never be good enough for women no matter what. When a man says he’s lonely, people immediately go to blame him without knowing anything
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates10/04/24 08:41 PM
1

“Toxic masculinity” and also “positive/healthy masculinity” is just a repackaging of gender roles/stereotypes with a cute bow wrapped around it.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates10/04/24 08:36 PM
9

I really want to do something but I don’t know what to do by myself
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates29/03/24 10:30 PM

Most issues that affect black people affect black men at higher rates so I’m not surprised of this
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates29/03/24 10:30 PM
3

People who deny that people have less empathy for men need to look at the bigger picture and not just their own lives. It’s pretty ignorant to deny it
/r/EverydayMisandry17/03/24 07:08 AM
2

Incel ≠ misogynist.
/r/MensRights15/03/24 09:11 AM
6

Just say you hate men
/r/MensRights15/03/24 09:09 AM
35

I hate men comes from the dehumanisation of men and people who see men as just the people at the top or disgusting creeps
/r/EverydayMisandry14/03/24 08:44 PM
8

Most of those things she mentions literally affects men more
/r/EverydayMisandry14/03/24 05:14 PM
9

All of that stuff is misandry and all of it constantly happens… I honestly think misandry is and always has been one of the biggest social and political problems

I’m glad lady gaga is making terfs mad
/r/EverydayMisandry14/03/24 05:07 PM

/r/MensRights14/03/24 04:06 PM

It’s not my fault though

1

Why can’t they mind their business? Maybe it’s because he actually has something to offer other than just looks?
/r/EverydayMisandry14/03/24 02:16 PM
9

They’re not assholes. Those are just words to refer to a type of people it’s easier saying Chad than “attractive male that fits into the male beauty standards and is successful with women”. A lot of the incel ideology is true and there are many men and women who are disrespectful and it makes sense to call them out
/r/MensRights14/03/24 02:05 PM
14

No you’re not. I’m an incel and tbh some of those problems are true. But it’s not an ideology. You don’t have to think a certain way
/r/MensRights14/03/24 02:02 PM
6

A man who in unsuccessful with sex and love
/r/MensRights14/03/24 02:01 PM
8

No it’s not. There is no belief. Being a virgin doesn’t necessarily mean you’re an incel, only if it’s involuntary
/r/MensRights14/03/24 01:59 PM
8

Andrew tate isn’t an incel. He’s the complete opposite. Incel isn’t an ideology or anything.
/r/MensRights14/03/24 01:58 PM
17

Men don’t have to be attractive to every woman. This gives the same vibes as when women call a man gay when he rejects her
/r/EverydayMisandry10/03/24 09:49 PM
3

It would be cool if they did this for boys and taught them about not bringing down other men and boys if they don’t fit into standards of masculinity and stuff like that. But they’re doing this for women so men and boys become what women want and think men should be
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates29/02/24 01:36 PM
2

I hope they don’t blame men for all their problems and say it’s their duty to respect women like people do. I live in the uk and we had a class about incels and andrew tate filled with victim blaming
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates29/02/24 01:35 PM
2

Misandry
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/24 07:53 AM
12

Also the whole “just have a good personality” thing is weird because most of the time they do and then this leads to them getting frustrated when they do see women with men who obviously don’t have good personalities
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates15/02/24 06:43 AM
2

Men should not be the protectors
/r/EverydayMisandry14/02/24 05:56 AM

I did but whatever I don’t really want to discuss it with a misandrist tbh
/r/MensRights13/02/24 07:00 PM

If a woman rapes a man, even as revenge, she’s a rapist and a terrible person not a hero at all. Rape and sexual violence is never ok. You see people saying women shouldn’t go to prisons in case they get raped but if they go to prison for something bad like rape, wouldn’t they deserve it? No. But people still make jokes about men being raped in prison because people see men being raped as just something to laugh about and to emasculate. Many feminists find emasculating men empowering and that in…
/r/MensRights13/02/24 06:58 PM

Yeah. The problem is people tell these guys to just be nice and have a good personality and then women will like them. And then they do have a good personality and women don’t like them but see all these assholes with plenty of women. That is annoying and frustrating and when you complain they say “well you’re probably just not actually nice, keep working on your personality”
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/24 11:26 AM
1

Why is rape ever seen as justifiable? The amazons were a mythological group of female warriors who kept men only for reproduction
/r/MensRights13/02/24 11:17 AM
2

The fact that they could even think sexual violence is ok when it happens to men shows that they see men being raped as humiliating and emasculating rather than tragic and traumatic like when it happens to a woman. Feminists would be completely against women getting raped as revenge (and rightfully so) but why is it ok for men?
/r/MensRights13/02/24 11:15 AM
5

I mentioned it because sexual violence is never justifiable. The fact that they think it’s justifiable shows how they view male victims of rape
/r/MensRights12/02/24 06:31 AM
5

It’s the fact that they see male rape and sexual violence as justifiable
/r/MensRights12/02/24 06:31 AM
11

Anally raped by a gun or castrated which is sexual violence. They deserve to die but sexual violence is never justified
/r/MensRights12/02/24 06:30 AM
0

Yeah but the fact that they see men being raped and sexually violated as justifiable is the problem
/r/MensRights12/02/24 06:29 AM
7

Shame on that woman and also the mothers
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates11/02/24 08:54 AM

Facts. I’m bi but it’s messed up.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/24 05:10 PM

Many right wing ideas are misandrist. Even the whole transphobic idea that trans women are just evil men who want to hurt „our poor precious women“ is just misandry and transphobia.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/11/23 05:14 PM

Male birds look cooler most of the time. I like cool looking things. This makes me think about why male birds settle for plain Jane female birds when they could have another gorgeous male bird
/r/MensRights09/11/23 08:29 PM
13

I don’t Like either of them
/r/MensRights31/10/23 06:48 PM

No. It’s saying you aren’t fitting into your role as a man and acting like men need to be a certain way

But it’s to do with what ppl believe men should be
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/23 10:47 AM
1

It’s homophobia and misandry
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/23 02:40 PM
1

That’s why I put it in quotation marks bc many women have been calling these men “sassy”
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/23 06:39 AM
8

But you don’t have to be calm when someone is being an asshole either
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 05:40 PM
21

Yeah it has homophobic connotations when women use it as an insult for men
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 05:40 PM
4

That’s why I said “sassy” not sassy
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 05:39 PM
11

I say it like “sassy” because that’s how women call it as an insult
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 05:39 PM
3

Yes exactly. That’s why I used quotation marks
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 05:38 PM

Because of the pressure for men to be with women and how women’s standards are often stuff men can’t help. Men don’t have the choice to have standards

Men don’t bully them

It’s the same for the men though
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 04:43 PM
1

It’s dehumanising and doesn’t actually mean anything
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 04:32 PM

Why? They just need to lower their standards. If they’re not getting picked by hot guys, they’re probably not hot themselves
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 04:31 PM
1

Difference is women have options but just want a hot guy
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 08:37 PM
1

At least women have options
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 08:37 PM

I will always split the bill.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 05:55 AM

True. When you bring it up people say: but many women don’t like big penises because it hurts!! But it’s not just about that
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 09:29 PM
1

They don’t respect men as a group and most men don’t either

I Wonder why men are “failing” to live up to women’s standards? /s
/r/MensRights20/10/23 07:02 AM

/r/MensRights18/10/23 05:59 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 04:38 AM

So many of stuff like this and the “discord/reddit mod” jokes are based on stereotypes of autistic men whether people realise it or not
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates16/10/23 06:28 PM

/r/MensRights15/10/23 05:24 PM
24

If that’s sexual assault, almost every man has been sexually assaulted but of course it’s all about women
/r/MensRights29/09/23 05:48 PM
3

I don’t think most women are killed because of misogyny. It’s mostly personal reasons. But most men who have been killed wouldn’t have been if they were women
/r/EverydayMisandry29/09/23 05:20 AM
13

They never cared about men. They think men need to conform to the gender roles in order to be men
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/09/23 12:21 PM
7

Some areas of work have more men (just like how some have more women) but there’s nothing wrong with that. There is a problem with employing someone just because of their gender but that only really happens with women
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates23/09/23 02:19 PM
2

I know it’s still happening today but most people like feminists ignore that. Men still go through that, there’s just less pressure on men to be “masculine”
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates18/09/23 04:31 PM
8

I will help people on situations where it’s safe for me to do so. But when people make it about gender and say things like “real men would help women”, I can’t help but roll my eyes. I’ve literally seen women say they wouldn’t help men because they could be trying to hurt women. Or maybe, men are human and need help to? We should all help each other when possible and safe. Regardless of gender
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates07/09/23 04:07 PM
5

About the feminine men….. I’ve seen people say the term “femphobia” which is so stupid. When cis women are feminine, the worst they get is “wow she’s such a girly girl”. But for men they could get killed. It’s not that femininity is bad. It’s that people think men need to stay a certain way: misandry and homophobia
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates07/09/23 06:28 AM
34

Incels aren’t bad. People who hate incels are usually worse than the average incel
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates03/09/23 05:53 AM
13

It’s very rare. Even many of the famous “incel terrorists” were never actually incels
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates03/09/23 05:53 AM
4

I don’t think it exists
/r/MensRights21/08/23 10:30 AM
44

I just really hate that people put expectations on men based on their gender. and view some men as more of a man or less of a man. Many women expect a man to sacrifice, protect, provide, etc for a woman but don’t follow traditional female gender roles. Even if they do, female gender roles, in my opinion, are softer and easier compared to male gender roles
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates20/08/23 06:17 PM
5

Most men don’t even really care
/r/MensRights19/08/23 03:45 PM
6

It is sometimes normal to be frustrated and let out your feelings
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates18/08/23 07:37 AM
10

I think people shouldn’t care about masculinity or femininity and just be who they are
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates14/08/23 05:54 AM
8

If that’s their first reaction, that shows that they clearly don’t care about the victims and just simply hate men
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates10/08/23 04:38 PM
18

All this is true and I’ve also been thinking about sexual liberation and how it only applies to women. Men have never been sexually liberated
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates10/08/23 04:36 PM
14

I think men have had more unique and prominent issues throughout history

This is what so many female influencers are advocating for

So the misandrist idea that men need to hide their emotions mostly affects girls/women? Why does it have to be for the daughter, not for him?

I’m scared that my son will realise how bad men are treated and want to change it

This is crazy to see people like this and the fact that so many women agree makes me not want to date them…. Yet we get called sexist for supporting men?

They just hate men at that point

Of course they make it all about women. And it’s funny how instead of saying actual rape victims, they only mention women like men can’t also be victims

Maybe when men are told they’re “failed” as men and there’s something wrong with them, it makes them feel like shit? Just a thought. Many of these men don’t have control over it and they don’t feel entitled. There’s a difference between feeling entitled and simply wanting something and being frustrated that other people seem to get it so easily while you can’t, and at the same time, you’re shamed for not being able to get it

It’s definitely because of a misunderstanding of what it means to be leftist. I used to be the same. I used to call myself conservatives but I never actually shared their ideals, I just didn’t like the man hatred of the left. I didn’t feel welcome or part of a community. Many young men and boys feel like they have no community because they’re excluded from many left wing spaces so they go to other places on the right for that sense of community

Maybe but also female privilege plays a big part too. Especially white women have always been seen as the biggest victims and now many people are calling them out for playing the victim card. They’re so used to everyone caring for them and catering to all their needs

Yeah it’s not necessarily about race. But I don’t think that the male equivalent is a guy swilling in a basement. That guy probably has mental health problems and societal problems or autism which is a whole other issue

That it straight up gender based violence if you choose to target the genitalia.

I grew up playing with barbie and I never once compared myself to her or thought that she was what every little girl should strive to be. I honestly think Ken is more sexist than barbie. Barbie can be seen as inspirational and there are so many diverse barbies and barbie has everything while Ken only has an existence that’s contingent on barbie and has no value other than that
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates22/07/23 07:16 AM

The rant that the mother did to all the barbies was so hypocritical and stupid. I actually think it showed the privilege that women have and I thought that in that way the barbie world is more similar to the real world than the other way round. I actually thought the part where ken realises that he’s more than just barbies other half was quite cool because many men think that their worth comes from a relationship and how women view them. I also liked when the men were friendly with each other in…

I watched it. It was sometimes funny but it’s just self pity for women. It highlights male problems but brushes it aside and literally admits that women treat men like shit but that’s not a problem for them
/r/MensRights21/07/23 05:31 PM

I watched it, it had funny moments. But there was so much female self-victimisation and self pity. It actually highlights that men probably have it harder but it gets ignored and brushed aside. I liked kens song but it gets played off as a joke. It says in the movie that everyone hates women but no. Everyone hates men, the women don’t care about men and the men are constantly competing and tearing each other down
/r/MensRights21/07/23 05:30 PM

I just watched it today. Parts of it were enjoyable but honestly, even though it was trying to say “boo hoo women have it so hard”, it actually showed it was the other way round. Apart from the female entitlement and privilege shown but ignored, i like that it told ken that his identity isn’t just barbie and he is his own person. But I also didn’t like that it was treating ken like a joke and when the barbies were straight up rude to the kens they said it was just their egos getting hurt.

I’ve had a few compliments since transitioning, mostly on my clothes. I still get help sometimes but it seems with some reluctance or judgement
/r/MensRights13/06/23 06:05 AM

It is definitely more lonely as a man. Women seem to have their own community within themselves with the whole “girls support girls” thing. Less people come up to me and start complimenting or having conversations and if I try to talk to others then I’m seen as a potential threat and I can clearly see that they look tense like I could hurt them. On testosterone, I’ve just felt more energetic and stronger and I also feel better about how I look, even if I don’t have the ideal male body
/r/MensRights13/06/23 06:03 AM

I get less attention such as people supporting me and complimenting me. Women have a community within themselves, they have the “girls support girls” thing and they exclude men like it’s “us vs them” which was quite a shock to go from loved to being seen as an inherent threat. Also just in general less people care about me and it’s a pretty dehumanising experience
/r/MensRights13/06/23 06:00 AM

Because I pass as a man
/r/MensRights13/06/23 05:58 AM

Less general attention such as people waving hello, complimenting or just starting a conversation. It’s a seemingly small difference but it affected me quite a lot Less help. People used to come up to me and ask if I need help if I’m struggling but now people assume I can do anything myself and I’m weak if I need help Expressing emotion. I am shamed if I express emotion too much, whether it’s positive or negative

I live in a small town so I do feel slightly weird and different to others and my local doctors surgery doesn’t have any experience with transgender people. I get treated the same as any man. However, if I do tell someone I’m trans, they seem to let their guard down and have more empathy/sympathy for me which I find strange
/r/MensRights13/06/23 05:56 AM
2

Yes but not that much because I’m taking a seperate medication that dulls my sex drive
/r/MensRights13/06/23 05:53 AM

Worse. Although I don’t enjoy attention, I miss the amount of support I had as a woman. People would just come up and speak to me or compliment me but that doesn’t happen anymore
/r/MensRights13/06/23 05:52 AM

Transgender female means trans woman. I am female to male which means I’m a trans man.
/r/MensRights13/06/23 05:51 AM

To be honest, I’ve started taking medications for my mental health which has made me feel better. I still see lots of misandry and judgement around men which is bad but I’m trying my best to ignore it. People treat me like a potential threat, which I’m sure many other men deal with, and it’s pretty dehumanising. I’m very close to my mother and my sister and they’re extremely helpful but for the most part I keep to myself about my problems The biggest worry I have is that people might judge me or…

They don’t know I’m trans
/r/MensRights13/06/23 05:47 AM

Those men are also misandrist
/r/MensRights06/06/23 05:57 AM
6

Exactly. Men shouldn’t care about whether what they like doing is “masculine” or not, they should do what they like. This is also why I dislike terms like toxic masculinity because it reinforces the idea that men should be thinking about their masculinity
/r/MensRights01/06/23 05:57 AM

Still, the girls support girls movement would be good for guys. Guys have an out group bias so they care more about women than they do about men
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates26/05/23 11:19 AM

I know that some women are bitchy. I’m a trans guy so I know. But also many girls trust other girls and have a community in themselves and stick together. Men should do this more. Many men call other guys cucks, soyboys, betas, gay, etc which are all just gendered misandrist insults. Misandry is everywhere, even many men are misandrist and value women over men. Men need to value each other more
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates25/05/23 03:00 PM
-2

The one thing I would change is how many men will bring down other men or say they’re not masculine enough. One thing I’m jealous of women for is that they have their own community within themselves as a group and I wish men could do that
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates24/05/23 08:55 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
