The medium is the message. Your ‘wife’ doesn’t want to be with you. Accept that first and make yourself your mental point of origin. Lawyer up for custody and child support and start dealing with what works best for you. She can take care of herself and doesn’t view you as an important and central cog in her life. Past 7 weeks should have proved that to you.

Jujitsu coach didn’t take an oath of fidelity to you. Let them be and have the pleasure of watching it fall apart. Her attraction to him was in what she believed you didn’t have ie he was complimentary to you in her mind. Take yourself out of the equation and it won’t stand. Please come back and report and give some laughs.

A divorce can be compared to drug rehab in that you have a cocktail of emotions that need time to go away. That said however, you do need to take your ex wife off the pedestal. 3B other women just like her, take the second chance that life has gifted you.

I feel you all gentlemen. But always remember whereas Mother Nature is her friend and your enemy, Father Time is the inverse and is your friend. It all works out in the end.

Morgan Stanley in the 2019 article titled the Rise of the SheEconomy predicts that 45% of women between the ages of 25-44 will be single by 2030. Preselection continues to be a key sexual strategy by women in 2025, almost 200k years later from our evolutionary past. In a nutshell, a man with children and a family(divorced and at times not) is proven goods and since desired by other women, it cuts out the tedious vetting stage. 100% of women in today’s dating market are after 20% of the men. Talk…

Be honest. Tell the women you are interested that you are hella picky and need to be impressed and that for that reason you are dating exclusively. Ps. Tell not ask. Plates should spin themselves with little or no effort on your part: You will be amazed at the results. NB: 10X If you have your money and muscles maxed out.

Nothing makes an ex wife more amenable to reason that an attractive new partner/girlfriend(please don’t get legally married again) and a new child in tow. It’s quite peculiar but from that point it ceases becoming about you and becomes about competition for your resources via your children. The one thing that is common in both scenarios is the man must have access to significant resources. See your kids as per the order but also double down on your money, muscle and mental spokes of the 3Ms that…

Fight her by shining a spotlight on who she is. Think of it hypothetically like you have a flashlight and there is a rat in a ship. Darkness is its friend and light its enemy. Just shine the light, the rat always scurries away.

Research shows there is a direct correlation between a woman’s body count and her capacity to successfully pair bond in a long term relationship. If I remember correctly women who got married while virgins have the lowest divorce rate followed by between 1-3 and the numbers keep going up as do the divorce rates. Add the lesser studied theory of michrochemorisim and you will feel different. You should definitely care about body count.

Don’t ever tell her. The fact that she isn’t sure how much you know and to what details will keep her in line forever. Women are totally scared of shame. Don’t throw away your trump card for emotional fulfillment rather use it strategically to your advantage.

A separation basically means, let me have another man rearrange my guts as I monkey branch to him. If it doesn’t work out, I’ll come back to you. She left you a long time ago, she is just trying to make it comfortable for her by emotionally manipulating you. Don’t fall for it.

She is just looking for your attention. Attention is the currency of choice in girl world and any attention even if negative beats no attention. Ignore her and it will go away. I genuinely think that in the modern world, men are the better parents on average. The modern woman only has use for her children as props or as resource extractors in court.

You are not her father. She is a grown adult who if you were not there would have figured her life out. She is getting her cake and eating it and will never be incentivized to change that state. Bail out.

You really have no rights over her daughter as you are not the biological father. Yes, it definitely hurts but you need to ask yourself if the juice is worth the squeeze insofar as a child custody battle for a child that is neither biologically nor legally, since you did not adopt her, yours. Personally, I’d take the L and move on and probably when ready get my own children. It really sucks to be the father that stepped up.

Your ex wife should be in your rearview mirror. And fading by the moment as you drive off into your glorious sunset until she is no more than a speck in the horizon and suddenly nothing. She chose another man over you when you were unwell(alcoholism is a disease). All your memories of her? Throw them in the trash and leave them there. ‘The spark is gone’=Lack of Genuine Burning Desire. Women are addicted to the stuff they invest in and will never leave it. In the next relationship, try making it about you. Let the girlfriend bring you a coffee, or a snack, or do your laundry et al. Basically, any mundane thing for you. Firstly, it’s an excellent indicator of whether she has genuine burning desire for you because if she doesn’t then complimenting your life at her inconvenience will not be in her top priority and if she does, t…

I watched a YouTube video by James Sexton, a top divorce attorney. He says that in divorce there usually is a small window where the person who was in the ‘wrong’ is so overcome by guilt that they make a few concessions. He advises to get everything signed off at this stage as it doesn’t last for ever before the justification of why they cheated and then the anger phase comes. All the best.

I think it really is not your circus, not your monkey. Why you would feel the need to call her out shows that you are still emotionally invested in her. She is just an imperfect human, as we all are, whom you now share a past with. She belongs in the rearview slowly fading as the miles rack up until she is nothing more than a blip in the distance as you ride off into the sunset.

You soon to be ex wife has herself smack in the center of her priorities. All her actions are geared towards her benefit. I highly recommend you do the same. No sense watching someone load an M16 with ammo when you can ascertain with a certain degree of accuracy that once loaded you will be one of the targets in the sights.

The only way ironically that she would change her mind is if you walked away without a care in the world. That signifies someone coming from abundance or at least an abundant mindset. Don’t worry about this. In fact, embrace it. The woman you divorce is not the same woman you married. You will be dealing with a very hostile stranger for a while and nothing you can do can change it. Fighting is a definite.

You can’t control when she gets abusive and neglectful. I also am quite genuinely baffled that you consider her a good mother. Parenting is a full time job not something you take a break from. I’d advise full custody and then monitor her continuously so as to ascertain the moment she is clean with minimal chance of the situation recurring
/r/Divorce_Men13/08/24 10:59 PM

I would advise not to go this route. Once she knows that you have a soft spot for the kids she will go for the jugular. You are most useful to your kids and to all other relationships actually when you are the best version of yourself. So put in the work. Kids are resilient, they will be fine. Don’t get guilt tripped by your inherent savior dynamic as a man. Teach yourself to mentally override it when necessary. It will be hard the first couple of times and then it will become second nature.
/r/Divorce_Men13/08/24 10:55 PM

Not at all. She was the best woman I could get with the old version of me and I got two kids out of it. That said, the new version of me wouldn’t look twice at her if I met her today and didn’t know her prior.

Hi Mate, You need to make yourself your own Mental Point of Origin. It all starts with you. When you are the best version of yourself then you can be the best father, partner, friend etc. Does the marriage serve your best interests? If not, is it likely to?
