I take full responsibility for my marriage. I was a workaholic. I was stressed most of the time in the last few years. I wasn’t a great partner and I made many mistakes, but I tried. I’m over blaming her and focusing on all the issues and problems that started from her side of the street. Those were all things that we could have worked on together just like my own shortcomings. But we divorced. It’s over. I’ve noticed that life stopped for me in A LOT of ways. The only thing I’m getting right is working out. I’m a beast now. But I need to let out my grief. And I don’t know how to do that as a man. I tore an acl one time and instantly bolted back up because I had to shake it off. I fractured my hip another time mid game and limped off the field in the worst pain of my life, looking down at my foot at the wrong 90 degree ankle (leg was also dislocated). I walked off and stared down the competition fighting the urge to cry or even wince. But I have no idea how to deal with emotional pain and remorse. How do I clear this out? I feel like me stuffing it down or numbing it has only done the same to every other part of life. Please help 🙏
