I’m in good shape, but do you think there is a basic enough strength training regiment I could do from home?

I was on vitamin D3 already, but I did just start taking low dose Tadalafil! (5mg) do you essentially take it forever?

It’s good you both have a good synergy, your new husband. I think what made my situation harder is accepting that it wasn’t just falling apart with my ex wife, my so called family were pushing me to stay despite my mind crumbling…because they only care about the optics and couldn’t care less about how I was doing under the surface. I tell you, trying to grieve a marriage alone without family to turn to is a grief I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. But I’m toughing it out the best I can.

This is sad but true. I feel like the world as a whole was so much better before social media took over.

That does make me feel a bit better. Definitely hit a nail on the head as well. I feel like after everything that has happened, I have completely lost sight of who I am anymore.

That is very fair 😂

I feel ya. I still love my ex wife too despite going no contact. I feel like marriage is just utter insanity.

Did y’all already split physically and she’s still harassing you?
/r/Divorce_Men09/06/26 04:04 PM

That’s fair! I feel like, not even feel, I DID give my ex wife more than I ever gave anyone else in my life. And now I’m just a memory to her, even after the hellish nightmare I went through trying to be there for her. I don’t know how to believe in such a thing again..

I also know what you mean about feeling deeply betrayed, even when there was no infidelity involved.

I’m sorry. I struggle with the fact that I don’t have a kid a lot. But I also feel like I’m probably fortunate, because I’m not in a good place and wouldn’t want their lives to be impacted by my current issues. But still, I hope I’m fortunate enough to have at least 1 someday.

I still wonder if I ever truly learned how to speak woman. I think getting control of my emotions is also something pertinent to my current issues.

That’s where I’m leaning.

Yeah it’s hard to look at marriage with those rose colored goggles anymore, that’s for sure.

Matching baggage… I like that. I want kids someday still. Not sure if my best bet is someone with kids or not though honestly. I can see why your current gf would sync well with where you are at now.

You hit the nail of the head so hard with that quote…playing by the rules and still lost. I know, I gotta change it up from just doing Cardio. Pushups and more strength training.

I’m not saying my marriage failed because of those people, I blame myself for that. It’s more so…I’m learning how little they care about me in general after the fact.

Time is the best healer for sure. I have been contemplating Ju Jitsu for some time now. I just don’t want to injure myself, but it seems like a solid option. I’m in therapy, not sure what CoDA is, and Buddhist meditation has also been on my mind because of the fact I’m never at peace within.

I feel like most of my anger isn’t even towards my ex, which is part of my issue. And I’m so sorry for what you had to go through…I don’t know how you find the strength to deal with something like that. But I am sure your kids give you strength. I do hope to have kids someday, even though I feel like that is less likely to happen now. I’m in therapy and one thing you said did stick out to me…hiding stuff from others. Because I feel like I haven’t really told a lot of people about my divorce beca…

Oh wow yeah that’s cheap. I hear there’s health benefits too. I’ll be meeting with a urologist soon hopefully once the referral gets back to me. Thank you much.

I keep hearing low dose Cialis is the key. That is very reassuring. Need a prescription for that right?
/r/Divorce_Men04/06/26 12:49 AM

Hmm never knew you could take that low of a dose, but it makes sense it would still have an effect.

Do you think Viagra can mess up the function? By which I mean, you either become dependent or the drill sergeant can’t stay at attention on its own without it?

I can’t sleep on my side of the bed anymore. It’s too painful.

It was okay when my doc tested it a few months ago, but I guess it could have changed. But 686 was the score. Not sure if that is significant?

I did. I stopped it for a little over. Does this mean ADHD meds are out too?

What is ruck? Mainly been doing cardio. I don’t know if I can stop the Vyvanse since it’s for my ADHD but the Wellbutrin and edibles are stopped.

Thanks man. Yeah I am trying to get my nervous system back. I feel like it has been dysregulated for a very long time…arguably even before I was married to be honest.

Yeah I’ve definitely been on edge and tense since the marriage was crumbling to be honest. It’s just shifted to different tense now in loneliness and loss of sense of self. I’ve stopped the edibles for like 4 days now. It’s the longest I’ve gone without since starting in November. It was absolutely a high dose compared to normal (50mg an edible, and 2-3 a day). I’ve heard high doses can mess up function while low doses can even improve things. But I’m just trying stay off it and try to reclaim s…

That is very reassuring, I appreciate you sir. Does it become a dependency or does it fix the issue in a way you can function without over time?

That sounds terrible.

Do things like viagra mess up erections over time though? Like you need to have them to get hard if you do it for too long and won’t be able to otherwise?

Thanks man. It sucks.

I wish I could feel more anger than sadness… if it was just anger I would try and channel that into something like martial arts or something active.

It’s hard. It’s only been about 7 months since we split and it’s been painful. I don’t have any family here to talk to about any of it. DM me if you want to vent.

It’s been 7 months now. I did what I could, but looking back,I probably should not have ever gotten married in the first place. There were signs from the start that i should have listened to. I was afraid, a fool, and allowed myself to be driven by my so called family and my insecurities. I did my best to try and do things “right”. It was amicable like i said, but i felt close to cheating because of how our sex life was spiraling (I didn’t though). Little did i know that the anti-depressant i ha…

I’m so sorry about your brother. I feel like I’ve been in some sort of nervous system collapse since it happened last year myself. All the holidays and birthdays and anniversary since then have been utter misery…spent them all alone and just brooding alone in my apartment (which is its own prison as we used to live together in the same apartment before she moved out). Been doing my therapy more lately. Trying to get more active. But the loneliness is the hard part. I don’t really have family tha…

I can’t handle the gym, it’s overwhelming. Been doing little walks outside. Getting into biking. Been rewatching the dark knight trilogy on loop. Music helps a little. It could be that ADHD though. I appreciate your advice.

Therapy has been helping. Chat GPT actually consumed my life heavy the first few months after. I really don’t have friends I am close to. Working on getting into support groups. You could say I lost my friends along the way when I was trying to re-write myself to be who my family wanted me to be. Joke was on me, because they don’t give a damn about me either. My only worth to them is my accomplishments. (Rant over. I am speaking of my parents specifically. Don’t really have much of a relationshi…

Is it getting easier? It sounds like a bullet dodged, but I’m sorry your son is having to be impacted by this. I sometimes wish I had a kid myself, but I probably need to figure out the mess I’m in first. Kids are such a big responsibility..

I know your pain…spent 20K paying off my wife’s car. It’s debilitating…but it’s still relatively new-ish (last October).

I do need to get out more. I did get the parks pass when I renewed my registration recently, maybe I should hit up the mountains. Last time I went there right after the divorce it did not go well.

I’m a big gamer too. Been my safe space for a long time. Although I feel like I struggle with getting out sometimes. It’s been worse lately.

It’s odd…when I started the Wellbutrin initially (like a year ago now) I did it to stop using weed actually. Because I was going back and forth with weed and trying to figure out a way to navigate this. I was able to abstain for a while…but now that you mention it, our sex life was falling apart even before the divorce. But after the divorce (which was shortly after starting the Vyvanse) I started to dabble in weed again. I was trying not to spiral honestly, but I didn’t want to turn to booze so…

My introduction to sex was messed up I guess. But I do want to have a genuine connection first, whether or not I’ll ever be able to trust someone like that again is another question.
/r/Divorce_Men17/04/26 06:29 PM

Yeah you’re right. I am not used to working on myself, so it is a process. I feel like I’m trying too hard to kill the loneliness that it’s just hard to focus on real progress.

Do you think that would be a hard transition? And do you think med card edibles are good or bad in conjunction? ( I take them like 8 hours after my meds)

Yeah it’s been like 6-7 months now. Maybe I’m just rushing things and trying to kill my loneliness the wrong way.

Good grief man…I’m sorry. That’s horrible. I went no contact with mine so I am just being blissful in my ignorance but I’ve been having a lot of thoughts. It’s been a nightmare. No family to get through this makes life a living nightmare.
