I’m 36M, divorced last year from my wife of 4 years (together for about 7). Been trying to keep it together, but I feel like i’ve been mostly spiraling and isolating. I push myself to get out, but it’s so much harder without family around for support. I guess my situation is compounded by the fact that I am simultaneously coming to learn that my family never really gave a damn about me. Remarkable how much we learn through divorce…

Divorce itself was amicable. Signed the papers together, no kids or remarkable assets (which I guess could be seen as good or bad).

Do any of you have any stories of difficult journeys that you were (or are currently) on? As it pertains to divorce of course. I want to believe things will get better, but I know that is also a naive way of thinking at times. Thanks in advance.
