It's a start in the same way "feminism helps men too" is a start: It's a meaningless statement that holds little to no weight and is only said to make themselves look like actual egalitarians. They just had to re-assure the reader that they aren't making the "horrendous" claim that men can and are also frequent victims of domestic abuse.

Nah for once they actually are a Nazi. Stonetoss is a full-on neonazi with very...interesting opinions on blacks and Jews. https://www.reddit.com/r/StonetossIsANazi/comments/fcce58/the_definitive_guide_to_why_stonetoss_is_a_nazi/This has a few links to some of his comics that generally show he does hold beliefs associated with Nazism. https://imgur.com/a/YsYb4Gk And some further evidence. This is a good case of "don't shoot the message" than "don't shoot the messenger".

It is. Journalist Katie has a pfp which a crudely drawn women in front of a trans flag. No respectable journalist would use such a pfp which pretty much gives it away it's not legitimate.

I meant "we" as in you and me, people on LWMA. The left as a whole, and as you said, couldn't give any less shits about men unless it's to degrade or insult them further.

I mean, I suppose so. Our intentions are to help solve male issues. Anti-xax people's intentions are to put other people at risk for baseless conspiracies. But your point still stands that the Left does accept false information as truth but unfortunately, it's just a staple of current political culture that anything that appeals to our already existing biases is given more credence than impartial or contradictory sources.

Yeah. It's safe to say that emotionally belittling, harassing and attacking your partner is abuse. Being overly possessive is abusive. Guilt-tripping is abusive. If it involves manipulating your partner, it's abuse.

God, that rape video is so infuriating. Why do people think this is normal, or something to be proud of? The boy was 14, and manipulated into having sex. That's rape! Minors can't consent in any form. Doesn't matter if she was hot, it's still rape. She knowingly took advantage of a child and raped them. This is disgusting.

It's suicide attempts btw. If half of all trans people were killing themselves every year, their population would drop off drastically.

"Women don't CHOOSE to go into nursing instead of software development because they want to, yo. Those women WOULD choose tech if only we changed the entire culture and curriculum to suit them, lowered standards, made the math less hard, banned Star Trek figurines at the office, and while we're at it, let's get rid of all the autistic nerds who do 90% of the actual work because they make neurotypical women feel unwelcome and creeped out. And why? BECAUSE APPARENTLY WOMEN HAVE NO FUCKING AGENCY. …

I remember talking to a feminist about the treatment of women in history once. She took on the stance of now that men had "oppressed" women, it was now the turn for women to "oppress" men. I quoted, "An eye for an eye will leave everyone blind." And how, like you said, one injustice does not negate another. And she couldn't care less. It was just "nope", "nah,", "bullshit". I asked that if the treatment of these women was so bad, why would they ever want to subject another gender to it and they …

I've seen no-one call FDS fat bitches, only misandrists, sexists and femcels. That's their own self-projection lol Every post from FDS reads like a mentally ill incel trying to connect dots that aren't there and getting mad at their own conclusions.

They acknowledge modern male witches. But they'd likely be less than happy to hear out about actual historical witch-hunts that were aimed at men and have a more sour reaction. It's much different to say "I'm a male witch" and "men were also on the sharp end of the stick during witch hunts as well" Also it's not overconfidence if you're right!!!!! :muscle: :muscle:

Lol "femnog" you mean not being a misogynistic mouth breather? Also I've already done my chores because I actually contribute to my family, aka the one you'll never have because you're a disgusting pig and no women would touch you with a pole. And yes, it was and it did since you clearly are a bit pissed off. There'll always be dozens of women who've contributed to society more than you have, not that it's a hard task to do.

Lmao, classic one. You're just upset that no-one's taking you and your tough guy act seriously. You're just an insecure incel who's been abused himself by men and women and has built up resentment over being a lil bitch that you try to act tough on the internet to warrant some sort of respect, yet get none because every person with two brain cells can smell the sweat off your fat folds. Whining about women for hours on end because none respect you and your jobless ass.

I know your point. But that's irrelevant to the usefulness of the sub. If they were right wing, they'd still vote in politicians who'd not help men. It's stupid to act like it's a deal breaker.

It's really not.
/r/MensRights04/08/21 02:45 PM

And does that change the fact they're still a useful sub for information and men's rights? If political allegiance means nothing then clearly they should be valued for the stats and posts they do. Are you pro-mens rights or are you just anti-feminist?
/r/MensRights04/08/21 01:56 PM

That's nothing like LWMA, mate. Where are you getting this from? They're egalitarian's, not male feminists. Also their posts are much more informative than the ones on Mensrights, giving good statistics and points rather than just highlighting cases of misandry. Did you even visit the sub?

This is a difficult case, because I understand why she feels the way she does but that's just an explanation, not an excuse. She, as a rape victim herself, should honestly have been more tactful and not so insensitive. The fact she was quick to dismiss it seems like a rather toxic thing to do. OP, if you still want to salvage your friendship then try to make her see things from your perspective, suggest how would she feel if she were in your shoes and had to be on the receiving end of such comme…

Where did I say that though? When did I say anything about lesser sentences? I'm just saying that she didn't try to use being a woman to get out of jail easy. It seems the only reason it's here is because it's a bad thing happening to a women, which is only half the point of the sub.
/r/PussyPassDenied26/06/21 06:57 AM

Do you mean how: A gay man isn't interested in women, therefore he can't possibly be abusive towards women. A trans man to them is just "women lite", a lot of them citing it as "them being socialized as women", implying to be considered a good person, a man has to act like a woman. If that's what you meant then yeah, it is pretty icky stuff tbh and not only sexist, but homophobic and transphobic.

I mean, I'm not the biggest fan of TwoX but this really isn't that egregious of a post. It's not generalizing men and it's just talking about a creepy subset of people. Not really that much of a problem.
/r/MensRights09/05/21 05:38 PM
4

I'm aware. I always thought it was odd because the only people who ever defend rape are people close to the rapist, and that's simply just because families sometimes refuse to believe their relative would be such a fucked person. And as far as I'm aware, most people in the USA/UK frown upon rape. So weird that people would claim there was.
/r/MensRights06/05/21 02:46 PM
13

I'm not too sure myself, since I'm terrible at receiving intent from text, but I think it's about the idea of "rape culture" and that people don't take rape against women seriously? And this post is about disproving that? That's the best answer I've got.
/r/MensRights06/05/21 12:03 PM

What? You mean genetic differences play no part in someone's worth as a human being? I know a few people who'd argue otherwise.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates12/04/21 02:28 PM
1

That must make you a man then since clearly you're at the bottom of the barrel yourself if this is how you spend your time. How do we break the news to Aileen Wournos and Juana Barraza that they are no longer women since they committed murder? No wonder you think all women are better than men, you stop considering the bad ones women!

No surprise, considering a lot of people don't even know what misandry is, or deny it even exists
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates26/03/21 06:56 PM
1

No. I had simply wanted some comments so I could make a list of all the examples. Easier than combing through an entire subreddit.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates26/03/21 06:50 PM
1

I know. I literally just asked this so I could compose a list of the ways misandry negatively affects men. I was just saying that going "Exact same way as misogyny" isn't just untrue, but it doesn't actually give me anything to work with. You could of just said "Misandry stops male rape victims from even being acknowledged as victims" or anything single example that would actually be useful in a discussion.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates26/03/21 12:20 PM

Any specific examples? Because that's legit all I'm asking for, specific examples. Not just "Same way as women", that doesn't tell me anything. . .
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates26/03/21 08:26 AM

Specific examples. Like how racism stops black people from being employed in certain areas.

How is it designed for men by men if men are disadvantaged in numerous ways?
/r/PussyPassDenied06/03/21 02:36 PM
2

Y e a h. Maybe it was the bad phrasing, or I just didn't read the room, but what's wrong with wanting to know the actual reason why men rape instead of just buying into the idea "men are naturally rapists"? I literally just wanted to know if the person who told me it was because "boys think rape is less immoral than other crimes" was talking out of their ass. Still, not going to get too pressed over it.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates04/03/21 03:58 PM
1

I'm asking why do men rape not because I think men are naturally inclined to rape because that's the view I'm looking to argue against. I was looking for the actual reasons why some men rape and not misandrist ideas like "Men are naturally rapists" or "Men are taught rape is okay". Surprise surprise, the answer is that some people are bad and that most men in general, aren't actually prone to raping people.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates02/03/21 11:02 AM

Jesus fucking christ, dude. That's a whole lot of information. Well done on gathering all of it though, should help.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/03/21 08:46 PM

Well, I'd hope whatever they're referring to would hold more water than what I assumed, since the person I'm debating (or, was going to until they ghosted me) had apparently written a college paper on this with a source, that they hadn't linked to me yet.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/03/21 08:27 PM
1

Well, apparently they wrote a paper on it for college and have a journal about it, so when they get around to actually showing it to me, we'll find out.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/03/21 08:10 PM
2

Oh, that's right. I probably shouldn't have worded it in such a way it'd seem I was accusing men, as a whole, of rape.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/03/21 07:35 PM
0

Well, I wouldn't be able to say as I'm practically just parroting something someone else said and now trying to find good points for an opposing argument. But, if I had to guess, they'd say schools/colleges and the person dong the socializing is other men.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/03/21 06:46 PM

Thanks
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/03/21 06:34 PM

Fair point. So, what about the other question I asked. Are boys socialized to find rape less immoral than other crimes? I mean clearly it's a load of bull but what would your take be on it?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/03/21 06:25 PM
2

Ah, thank you. That's a good answer. Though some people would say that those rapes are being committed by other men (which is...well, we can get into that) so it's still men committing the majority of rapes. What would your response be to that?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/03/21 06:19 PM
0

So, what are the proper statistics?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/03/21 06:08 PM
-15

Though, 80% of rape victims are women, and 99% of those rapist are men (that's not an actual statistic I think, I'm just quoting someone who brought this up to me). So there's a clear indication that men are more likely to rape. So why is that? Is it the way we're socialized? Or is it something else?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/03/21 06:04 PM
1

And would men be more inclined towards Sociopathy/Psychopathy? If so, what would be the implications it would have for the way we regard rape?

"Lack of non-consent (not saying no) used to be considered consent." Sorry, this bit kinda confuses me. Does this mean while the women doesn't outright say "I give you consent to have sex", there is a heavy implication of consent e.g invitation to their room, innuendo and the like?
