Nice, so 90 percent of men should have their main incentive to work, pursue status, and participate in the rat race taken away. I could never see this going wrong.

Reality has its own rules. Reality says that 99% of women will not be able to date a man long term who is tall, handsome, and rich, all in the same package.

Most men don’t care if a woman is toxic if they find her attractive Most women actively seek out some toxicity

It’s not any more like “astrology” than any other branch of psychology
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 04:11 PM

You volunteered to date every “asshole” you dated. That’s my point. Is that hard to grasp? Take some accountability

He is absolutely a body if you had some kind of sexual contact. How is this so hard for women to grasp?

Have you ever heard a woman say to “resource acquisition” or “dominance hierarchy” when referring to things she finds attractive in a mate? No? Well these are consistent findings for things women select for according to EvoPsych.

“Stop over-analyzing” something people usually say when they’re losing an argument, by the way. Even if I were to concede that it’s more about “social competence” than about status (I won’t), that doesn’t make it much better. Imagine telling some socially awkward guy who possibly has either autism or social anxiety disorder that all he has to do is be socially competent. A lot of this is stuff you’re either born with or gain through continual positive reinforcement through your whole life.

Every woman can find a “good guy” who will commit and treat her right. You don’t even have to date an ugly guy. I’m not ugly (I’m not exceptionally attractive either), and I’m a decent person, and I still get rejected by women. The truth is women choose to date assholes, when they all have the option not to. I have little sympathy for women who say “all my exes have been toxic/assholes”. It’s in your control.

There’s only one kind of self improvement being increasingly focused on right now, and it’s looksmaxxing. Guys who are into game and charisma will get a higher ROI in the coming years

Can she read my mind though? Of course I’m interested in getting a second date. This is my first opportunity in months. I’m just being realistic. I can’t pretend like it’s no big deal when it really feels pretty devastating.

For a second date of course

There are no participation trophies… except for women. Who have inherent value in the eyes of society.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 11:29 PM

Women don’t know rejection like men know rejection. Rejection is the baseline reality men deal with, nearly every woman a man tries to talk to won’t want to talk to him. Your average man swipes on 1000 Tinder profiles for 6 matches. I’ve done 5 cold approaches, and I didn’t get a number from any of them. It’s easy to say “rejection is a part of life” when you know you’ll always have options at the end of the day. Men don’t. You have a CashApp link on your profile, presumably because random men s…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 11:16 PM

You’re being completely ridiculous. If you had to deal with the amount of rejection your average man has to deal with, you’d collapse.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/25 10:44 PM

People only say this “law of nature” shit when talking about men. Never women.

I absolutely have the right to be angry with women who are able to self-correct their toxic behavior but refuse to.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/25 12:00 AM

It’s best to move on. A woman who previously rejected you should occupy as little space as possible in your mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 07:58 PM
1

Polygyny is stupid and bad for society. If I were a top-tier guy with a ton of options, I’d just choose one woman, and leave the rest for other men. Society is better when most men get a wife.
/r/seduction06/11/25 07:17 AM

It is women who enforce the norm that the man makes more.

A lot of women do actually want that, at least in its mild form, and I’m sure you know that too. The fundamental reason I got into the red pill is because these truths hurt so much to learn. On an innate level, I want to treat a woman well, and see her as my equal. Women are not as attracted to men who do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 10:09 PM
0

Yeah, but the problem is women bear some responsibility for that. Obviously the men who treat their girlfriends/wives like shit are wrong, but the responsibility is also on the woman to choose a man who will treat her better, even if he’s a tad bit less attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 10:07 PM
-2

Sex isn’t a need, it’s just a necessary condition for overall life satisfaction in MOST humans. If you had enough empathy you’d admit this.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 10:03 PM
-4

Chads are the only men who have women PURSUE them. While there are a few relationships here and there where the man is equal or below the woman in SMV, I’ve found that most cases of men “dating women out of their league” are cases where the man is actually equally as attractive as the woman, and people are overrating the woman, or the man is compensating somehow, and couples where the man and woman are supposedly “equal” usually have the guy being a bit higher SMV.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 10:01 PM
-15

I’m not trying to make women feel bad about themselves, that’s not my goal. I want women to understand that unrestrained hypergamy has bad consequences, so that maybe guys who aren’t chads can have a decent shot at finding a good relationship with a woman who is on their level.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 09:52 PM
1

That’s a healthy mentality. Just because he finds some pornstar hotter than you physically, doesn’t mean he’s not also attracted to you and doesn’t mean he doesn’t love you.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 09:44 PM
-2

Yeah, and that causes problems that women MUST accept if they’re going to act like hypergamy isn’t a problem. Don’t come to me complaining about men not committing, men cheating, men not respecting you, men not putting effort, being “used for sex”, etc. because these things are the direct result of hypergamy. Isn’t the reasonable conclusion here that women should maybe lower their standards just a tad bit?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 09:35 PM
-3

Primarily looks, money, and status.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 09:28 PM
-7

It means wanting to be with a man who is higher on the SMV ladder than you. For example, a 50th percentile woman, ie, a woman who is of average attractiveness, generally speaking will NOT settle for an average man, and instead wants a man who is the top 5%, and will settle for a guy who is in the top 20% under the right circumstances.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 09:26 PM
-2

The difference is men are capable of loving a woman they see as below them, whereas women are only capable of loving a man who they see as equal or above them.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 09:23 PM
2

Ok, I can see that. We’re mostly garbage from their perspective. Not objectively though.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 09:22 PM
-13

Fundamentally, I’m tired of women saying hypergamy is a good thing, and I’m trying to demonstrate that while hypergamy harms men, it’s not without downsides for women either. Women don’t get to have their cake and eat it too. If you only want to select for men who are higher SMV than you, then you have to accept the negative consequences on your side too, that you’ll be used, objectified, and settled for.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 09:21 PM
-2

How are ALL men comparable to a swamp? That’s the problem with this analogy. You’re assuming all men are garbage.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 09:10 PM
2

That’s not true. If that were true then celebrities and pornstars would be the happiest people around.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/25 12:51 AM
8

You can say that, but don’t complain about being used by the small % of men you consider attractive. No one is asking you to date men who are genuinely less attractive than you. People are telling you to go for men on your level if you want long term commitment and stability.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 08:09 PM
2

Do you see how “women don’t have sex with the hottest man” and “they have sex with a man who they are attracted to” can’t both be true?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 08:06 PM
1

If that were easy to do then men wouldn’t be obsessed. It would just be normal. Women are the ones who make sex a scarce resource for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 06:39 PM
2

I agree that the girls have higher standards in college. I think for most of high school my mentality and personality were not where they needed to be for me to have a good shot at dating a girl I found attractive, and I think that’s true for a lot of guys.
/r/seduction29/09/25 04:24 AM

If it is, the old adage “watch what they do, not what they say” applies
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/25 04:21 AM

Women don’t treat nice men better than they treat assholes. A woman texts and calls her favorite asshole first and makes sure he has to put in as little effort as possible to sleep with her, ghosting the good guy, who is left scratching his head.

So you’re nearly 6 feet tall, very fit, I’m presuming white, very social, and you have little issue finding women? I’m very surprised… not. You’re way more above average than you think and that’s coloring how “easy” and “simple” you think dating is.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/25 01:00 AM

How tall are you? What race are you? Where do you live? How social are you? On a 1-10 scale, how attractive was the last woman you slept with?

That’s one of the stupidest things I’ve heard in my life. In the post I was trying to draw an equivalency between men and women, but after reading that now I think women might be even worse in terms of who they choose to date. What makes women think they get to “fix” men? Also, what makes them think that just because he’s nice to them he’s now “fixed”? There are plenty of love stories where it’s a good, normal man but there’s some other source of conflict. The guy doesn’t have to be a massive pi…

What I’m taking away from your comment is that I probably shouldn’t try to be a woman’s friend first. I don’t have any experience with the friend zone, but I’m definitely not trying to end up like that, and part of the reason I haven’t is because I didn’t have friends for most of high school, and more recently I’m only able to be friends with loser/nerd guys who aren’t friends with any girls, let alone attractive girls. You have to find fulfillment in the smaller wins. Personally, in the past month I went from being terrified to approach a girl, to doing my first approach, to then managing to get a number from an approach. The girl I got a number from didn’t even respond but I still see that as a win because there was a time when I had doubts I could ever get a girl’s number from an approach. My next step is to get a girl to respond over text, and after that, I want to work on getting a girl out on a date. Thes…

Most of them didn’t grow up desirable. I think men have a natural amount of skepticism towards attractive men who are claiming they became successful with women due to hard work. Most alpha male red pill influencers increased their money/status/game through work. They grew up with little to no success with women and improved. There’s definitely an element of luck to their success, but I think these influencers are more genuine than you’d think. They see themselves as having transformed through h…

Most young women don’t date significantly older men. The majority of girls in their early 20s like guys that are their age or maybe 2-3 years old at most. Women are more likely than men to date significantly older, but those situations are uncommon and don’t explain the difference between how many young men are single vs how many young women are, with half of young men reporting being single and only about a third of women in the same age group reporting being single. I’m trying to point out a contradiction. Women trust their male friends and family, and if I point out that they’re every bit as dangerous as male strangers, that’ll cause them to realize that all men are humans, just like the men they’re close to, and aren’t necessarily dangerous.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 05:56 AM
-6

My argument is that if you fear strangers just because they’re men, then you might as well fear your male friends, as they are just as, if not more dangerous. I’m trying to point out a contradiction. The reality is women shouldn’t be particularly fearful of men, since very few of us are actually dangerous. Maybe you aren’t attracted to your female friends, but many men are, and that’s fine. I’m just pointing out to women that their male friends are just like any man.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 07:03 PM

The majority of men are more attracted to feminine women than “formidable” women, which reads more masculine. Men will certainly date women with dominant personalities if we find them physically attractive, but if most men had the choice, it’s likely they’d choose women who are kind, soft, supportive, and maternal, and in a world where women call out men for being broke, unambitious, timid, and weak without hesitation, we should be honest about that.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 01:59 AM
1

Men should put up a front of “not trying”, but actually be very strategic, especially in the early stages of approaching a woman and asking her out. Game, or rizz, is essential. The average guy can’t just “not try” and expect to get women. Go try it yourself, it won’t work. Men should use the right body language and words to create just the right switches in a woman’s head to create attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 02:58 PM

I think the derision towards “participation trophies” is foolish because anyone who has any familiarity with these competitive activities knows how hyper competitive these kids can be and would honestly say there’s an opposite problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 02:48 PM

Wanting something and requiring it are different things. Most men are willing to date down. Women will generally only date up.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 02:45 PM

Women would even become more bitter and resentful than your average guy. Notice how average women, who could easily hook up with 90% of guys, constantly cry about how insecure they are about not being considered the ideal beauty standard. If average women dealt with the amount of rejection, abuse, and loneliness average men do today, they’d probably go insane or kill themselves.

Do you think the porn industry and sex workers exist because they genuinely care about men? These industries exist to make money off men, plain and simple. I see excuses made for men who are accused of sexual abuse, but it’s always powerful men who have people behind them like politicians, the wealthy, and community leaders. People never make the same excuses for average men who are accused of rape.

I will concede that this has become less overt since then, but to act like it isn’t still the norm is wrong. A man who openly cries not might be overtly shamed and be told to “be a man” like in the past, but the difference in treatment between a man who has shown vulnerability and one who has not is definitely real.

Does it necessarily have to do with the fact that society views women as weaker, or is it the fact that society sees men as disposable? Society generally does NOT encourage men to be open about their feelings. Men lose social status by expressing their feelings. The only times a man is allowed to openly cry for example is when death or something similarly devastating is involved, not about their insecurities or their every day frustrations.

I agree. The point is that women can be shitty people.

Ask women. They’re the ones who will shit talk a guy just because he asked someone out.

I’m curious what kinds of things women say when gossiping about men that ask them out or their friend out. I have been a victim of this kind of gossip at my high school when I tried hitting on girls (though it’s a bit different because it has been girls that I either didn’t know or didn’t know too well), but I don’t know specifically what was said. I see people all the time say it’s ok to approach women as long as you respect consent and don’t do anything inappropriate, but it seems like IRL mos…

I was raised in the US. Do I really need a source that specifically says society makes it hard for men to make friends? I’ve already proven that loneliness affects men more severely than it does women. Contend with that.

15% of men report having no close friends, compared with 10% of women. The difference might be even higher, since male friendships tend to be more shallow and less intimate, so men probably have a lower threshold for what they consider a “close friend”.

The way our society is set up makes it harder for men to make friends than it is for women. That’s the problem.

This is just the classic “men just want sex” myth women believe. No, men are not just after sex. Men are more likely than women to have no friends at all, and that is huge part of the male loneliness problem. Even in dating, men are not just looking for sex, not at all. Men want love and connection, not just sex, otherwise, prostitution would suffice.

The difference is everyone will see the woman as the victim in that situation and take her side. There is next to zero sympathy for a man who is falsely called creepy, and no one will come to his defense.

It’s hard to just not care when there are potential social consequences. You’re not in any literal danger, but most people care about their social reputation to some extent. It’s the best strategy for men to approach women and to pursue, otherwise, most men will get nothing, but it’s a fine line to walk. You won’t get arrested, but it’s very likely you’ll be branded a creep.

Being afraid of being called a “creep” is a valid fear for any man.

MOST men WILL be branded a creep if they decide to approach a few women. Women talk about men who approach them with their friends all the fucking time, usually laughing about them and how “weird/creepy” they are for daring to show interest. There’s no safe way to approach women as a man, and if you do it, it can be detrimental for your reputation in a college/school/workplace. I wish women understood this, or maybe you do but you’re willfully ignorant/dishonest. Creepy is one of the very FIRST …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
