I'd just find a chubby cute girl who likes to bake and be hella nice to her and do all the romance so she'd bear like five or six of my ugly short babies. Being man shouldn't be that hard, it's ya'lls crazy pickyness that makes it so difficult for you.

This right here. Basically it's a legal doc cataloguing all the assets that existed as separate property before the marriage. In most divorces marital assets are going to be divided somehow, but when one party starts claiming that an asset is a marital assest while the other party claims that it's separate property, proving or defending that in court can become very costly. A prenup saves you from legal pain down the road becuase everyone has already agreed on what is and is not considered a mar…

Recently, I've read/heard something about butterflies/the tingles not being a good sign, because they're basically an anxiety response. This is why I never go after crush guys. I even find it physically hard to go after them becuase the butterfly/tingle feeling is simultaneously repulsive as it is exciting. Soooooo, if I ever claim to have a crush on someone what I'm really saying is that I find them kind of repulsive.

I've had this same belief ever since I became aware of the opposite sex in a gendered way. So thats like, since my pre-teen years. I still liked all the romantic stories in media, but based on the behaviors of the boys aorund me I knew it was complete fantasy. No way the kind of men that our society raises are capable of the kind of romantic, selfless love that is depicted in romance media. And that has really effected how I never expect or seek out romantic love in my own relationships.

It's insane how men hide their political affiliations - don't they want someone on the same page? You could say the same about the way they treat their partners. It's insane to want to live in a home with someone who literally hates you. But they do.

A sense of emphatic disgust overruling perosnal disgust. Men are way more comfortable with letting their kids sit in a foul diaper becuase they're more grossed out by the diaper than they feel empthy at their kids own discomfort. Also the line between your kids gross excretions and your own gross excretions is a bit blurred as a mom, so that helps.

You have to be independent and driven to do well in your education and career. Any woman who has achieved in these areas has already made a decision that submission is not part of her repertoire. Those things just don't go together.

I'm just gonna say it: The dating apps probaly run some kind of algorithm on your pics and social media (they probably look at your friends too!) and feed you the matches that they think you deserve. I've never seen a fatty on my dating app choices. I actually get way too many scary cut dudes. I am looking at the 35+ category and I have never any any weight issues myself. Think about it people.

I'll just leave this here. https://www.splcenter.org/fighting-hate/extremist-files/ideology/male-supremacy Internet forums really are a different world, the fact that so much hate speech directed at women is tolerated on internet forums like reddit while any mention of facts or statistics that point to structureal gender disadvantages towards women says more about positive male bias in modding than it represents reality.

I don't really get why anyone would spend that much money on a toy (doll/ring/whatever) when they could be investing in assets that will appreciate in value over time. Or set the money aside and get a pet. That makes a lot more sense.

When I was 22 and I talked about an 'older man' what I meant was a man aged 28-32. 28-32 is a pretty attractive age for a dudes. It makes total sense for younger women to find them intriguing. Now that I'm 37, I don't even look at men with that age gap becuase 45 year old guys just don't have that sparkle. If a single woman my age is talking about an older man the connotation is that she's broke and found a guy to take care of her financially. Older man has a different meaning and relevance for …

Oh yes, bitcoin was the original currency of the silkroad gray market trading site that got taken down about a decade ago. And it's also just a weird program that nerds used to run on home built mining machines along with things like, Folding @ Home and linux based home media servers. Both incredibly innocent and geeky hobby and completely nefarious. Not a bad idea to hold it now if you have some but I do wonder how many people trading now are aware of bitcoin's history?

Statistically, abusers tend to go for full-custody more than non-abusers so if a man acutally has full custody of his kids and he's not a widower from entirely natural causes you'd want to stay away.

I live in a large metro area (LA/SF, NYC) and I can say that, realistically, most women are looking for relationships and prefer to be partnered up. Anecdotally, I know a lot of women will not even entertain unestablished transplants on apps becuase they perceive that they're not relationship minded and just looking for a fling.

I've been arguing on the internet and evicting shitty boyfriends for at least 20 years. I feel like I'm the wierdo in my age cohort for not being a doormat. I am heartened that this seems to be an upward trend though. Gen z women have a sense of self worth. It's slowly becoming normalized despite all the other regressive backlash.

Masculine traits are not inherently toxic. They become toxic when clouded by the ego or a sense of entitlement. Agreed. It's the belief or value system that possessing those traits or being a member of the male sex which possesses those characteristics gives one the right to infringe on the freedoms and rights of others which is toxic. No one would have an issue with a bodybuilder/philanthropist; but if a man believes he's going to use his superior strength and power to intimidate his children o…

I think women who buy into the entitlements system of men can act just as abusive and entitled as the men when they feel like they're dealing with someone who they perceive as 'lower' than them. So these older boomer women get abused their whole lives but that won't stop them from turning around and trying to abuse younger women and children. That's the whole reason societies that have mass repression of women can work.

There are a few 'womens' subs on reddit that I believe are just suffer porn for men, becuase female-first rhetoric is always explicitly banned. The only women allowed to post are the ones who express the conventional views that perpetrate female servitude. R/domesticviolence is one of them.

I need to add something else: parenting and unconditionally loving actual toddlers can be a challenge but is also so rewarding becuase they grow and flourish under your care and you can see how your loving care is making them into the person they are. I was replying to a post in another forum and it came to me that men who want women to be punished for 'false' rape accusations are actually calling for women to be punished for using our legal system as intended. Just imagine a world where 1/2 of the population could get locked up because they didn't make a compelling enough argument in a court of law that is filled with mysgynists. Is 50/50 custody default? This is the law in some states, but historically, men would retain full legal custody of the children in a divorce. In practice, I believe that men gaining majority custody is still the norm in many cases. 50/50 is pretty damn progressive. Is it possible for women to domestically abuse men? It is possible for women to exhibit abusive behaviors in relationships, however, the relentless abuse based on control and entitlement is the domain of men and the majority of violen…

Aaaand the surfeit of men who think of women as (potential) fat bitches is exactly why there aren't that many dateable men. The real issue is not standards, it's that most men degrade and hate women and women don't want to date these men becuase they're awful to date.

a lot of them think they are too good for single mothers. Projection. Any single mother worth her shit who's been through it with her own ex is going to give that single dad an uncomfortable level of scrutiny unless she's that dumb and that desperate. This is why relationships fail so often after the first child. What men label as 'misandry' is acutally a valid response to the mistreatment that many women have suffered at the hands of men. Do you think that this is a new thing, or have most women already held these beliefs? Have you talked to a woman from an older generation? This. A lot of men complaing about how family courts are so biased against men are literal abusers who're mad becuas they won limited custody arrangements. In many cases these men shouldn't have any custody at all and the fact that a court of law will even entertain their continued relationship in their child's life points to a bias against women, which is far more consistent with the historical biases against women in family courts. I think the Cuckoo comparison is apt. By seeing themselves as above or separate from the safe haven, they socialize themselves to parasitically subsist off the efforts of their partner who is striving to create that haven rather take part in co-creating that haven. It was 20 years ago, but I wish I would have known to press charges.

I'm sorry this is happening to you. I hope you can get the legal help you need to protect you and your kids. And I really wish this wasn't such a common story. My father eventually remarried and my 'stepmom' ended up physically attacking me as well.

Well, you know with her history, that's extremely unlikely.

No, they really should not be. These women run the range from real shit shows to very loving women, but unfortunately door-mats and easily manipulated. But none appear to be aware of the greater impact of their behaviors.

It really is. I think custody should be evaluated based on the parent/child dynamic and status quo care arrangements.

Or they know the statistic that more women go to college so now they have to devalue college.

He interviews people, I guess. He's not even that offensive he's super basic. He's the pumpkin spice latte of podcasts. But people think he's edgy cuase he smokes weed or whatever.

If I remarried some dude and his kid did this to my daughter I'd divorce him immediately. I gotta wonder why she doesn't reach out to her mom? A living situation like that is grounds for Dad losing custody. I have to imagine that the father is sort of despicable, manipulative, and practices alienation and that's why he ended up with primary custody in the first place. One thing I've learned from divorce subs is that a man with primary custody is red-flagging hard for abuser.

Okay so, World Toilet Day is officially observed by the UN and is in recognition of people who do not have access to adequate sanitation.

Ew, I just had one of my male friends ask me all about being a single mom and wondering if it was so hard and my kid was lonely, while fishing for a date. I was like 'not as hard as dating literally any man,' and no my kid has plenty of social ties. That's like the mating call of the 50+ year old guy, fishing for 30 year old woman desperation.

If a woman even makes it to court, the marriage estate is more likely to be divided equitably. That is if they make it to the court, becuase a SAHM can't exactly put a deposit down for a lawyer if he drains the family account first or if he terrorizes her into staying out of court. But yes, the fraction of women who get their first share out of a divorce is equal to rape in the eyes of many men.

I mean... it’s a fact that men commit most of the crimes. I've noticed that info is heavily censored on women's forums on reddit. Makes subs like r/domesticviolence seem more like exploitation porn than anything else.

but they’ll ban women who name the problem of male violence. That's the reason I've been banned from a number of women's subs. Here's a screen shot of my ban from r/domesticviolence for daring to mention misogyny and gendered violence in relation to DV. On a sub full of horrors stories by women about how their husbands abuse them. https://imgur.com/Z1wcoDg.jpg

Agreed, I think that the toxicity of male relationships is that they are unable to acknowledge their true feelings of love an affection for their friends while at the same time only really loving and respecting other men. Then their girlfriends become nothing more than an accessory to show that they're not gay. That fear of being gay actually diminishes the quality of all their relationships and makes it impossible to form.genuine bonds of affection with women.

Husbands do not support their stay at home wives. Yea, read any divorce sub and it's clear that marriage is based on men taking advantage of women. While they're married they take away their career/social/financial choices and then if they split they do their best to swindle them out of what's theirs in their mariage and destroy their relationships with their children so they can replace them with a new model. Marriage has got to hold some of the the most depraved examples of male behavior towar…
