Same here but my ex was more like OPs. Insatiable to the core, good luck to the next dude, he’s a moron for not seeing the writing on the wall. If you aren’t married make sure your partner works, so they can support themselves and your children when she decides your time is up.

Find “Listen My Son” on YouTube, easily the best, free advice that I found helpful through all stages of separation and divorce. Or you could try someone like Coach Greg Adams if you need to be red pilled, minus the rage.

Hahah I’m two years in with that shit on July 1. She’s getting served soon, I’ve had enough… but not enough to move out and give her freedom.

Get a lawyer, she can drag you for child support and say those $500/month payments were gifts.

It’s likely that they’ll review the last three years of taxes, so CS and alimony will be based on history not what you’re about to secure. 50/50 custody will be based on the delta of your pay and hers, so consider that any OT as a bonus to her, if she decides to drag you back to court in years to come. Mine was a SAHM up until the last three years, when she decided to get a sales job, but I have a 2.5 y.o. who’s not in day care. She’s intentionally not worked in the last year while we’re separat…

Move to Alabama. I would not want to go through divorce in California.

Hell no, never again, free agent forever. Plus I got two small kids, I’m not subjecting them to another woman and dealing with co-parenting drama. Married to my hobbies.

If you can afford it, buy her out and see if your lender can blend your current rate and new rate. Stay strong brother

No kids, no shared assets like a marital home. Run like hell man, she’s not going to get better, only worse and when you have kids it’ll be ten times worse plus then you’ll owe support.

I think that’s because most men are logical and pragmatic. Women are in their feelings, emotions rule their universe. That post you shared perfectly describes how repulsive their true nature is when they feel wronged, are “unhappy” 180 on their vows, frigging reprehensible behaviour and maturity of teenagers. “Better get my 💰and run” smh.

Not a chance, she was grilling me before I even thought about meeting someone about how she needs to vet my future partners before the kids meet her. Ha ha ha the delusion

I agree with your sentiment, but she’s my ex as far as I’m concerned, I could careless who she’s with just leave the kids out of it.

I could understand a short trip to a park, beach or whatever, so there’s a logical exit plan. But overnight and far away, the response I got back was “as the world’s best mom you think I wouldn’t do the right thing for my girls, turn around and come home?”

I’m in Ontario, Canada. Appreciate the guidance, I’m documenting now and flagging the master to my counsel. I’ve already recorded other conversations with her about child custody and her plans to drag this out in court for as long as possible until she gets what she wants.

Check the marriage wheel, this falls right under “I’m not happy (insert tears)”, you invest in the relationship, she gets what she wants but is never content or it’s never enough, either you take the L and get divorced or simp/buy a happy wife, happy life coffee mug. Check out CoachGregAdams, it’s a textbook play.

Yeah mine is trying the same bull shit but frames it as she wants to prioritize what’s best for the kids. Wants primary residency, I see the kids every other weekend on paper but I can take them, and come visit whenever I want. I laughed at her and said we start at 50/50, and take it from there. She also “plans” to buy me out but actively refuses to work since she asked for a divorce. I’ve shouldered everything financially, totalled my suv 5 months ago and took half the insurance settlement. The…

Tip of the iceberg, hide your passport, birth certificate, everything. I wanted to go to a Bills game and she hid it so I couldn’t cross the border. I found it the following weekend, move all critical documents out of the house.

Married a controlling woman. Now divorcing a controlling woman, only gets worse as time goes on and more children are added to the mix. Just witnessed a mother/wife discipling her husband for talking to his child a certain way at Costco. By the next sentence, she was telling a 2 year old about her not getting something due to the consequences of her actions. Modern parenting one minute than pure tyranny the next. I almost puked.
