"its not what you say its how you say it" You implied it.

You really are full of shit. The fairytale that there's perfect lines and ways to pick up women is dated. The delivery, your body language and your attitude make or break it. 90% of communication is non-verbal.
/r/seduction30/04/14 03:45 PM

Absolutely. This approach is clever and different. It's all in the delivery. It doesn't tick all the classic boxes for the 'perfect' pickup, but who cares? Something this subreddit seems to forget it there is no ONE way towards success. Sure, there's things which work better than others, but ultimately there's 100's of pick up artists who all operate in a completely different way and end up with the same women.

I would personally never meet up with her and her friends. That's seduction 101. You're basically inviting her to have the upper ground and force yourself into doing the same amount of leg work as a cold approach. Giving her a call I can understand, but ask her to meet just you. If she doesn't she's just not worth it, move on.

There are some truly terrible answers here. I've met up with a number of girls off Tinder and I still see all of them. How should you open? Be outrageous. Stand out from the crowd. Be arrogant. Be funny. Don't say anything you think anyone could have said before. If she is attractive (why else would you be matched?), she has hundreds of guys messaging her with generic, boring bullshit. Be the guy that sends a message she shows all her friends because it's so different. How to screen for dtf girl…

This is an amazing comment, cheers for posting. Can I ask, what books/sites would you recommend which give this same sort of detail?
/r/seduction08/12/13 12:08 PM

I wrote a post about this a while back, you can find it here: How do you maintain attraction? Call her, don't text. If you've been on one date with her and there's a 2 week+ gap in-between, don't text small talk, it's counter productive. If you feel attraction falling, give her a call and make her laugh. Once you've practiced enough to do is flawlessly it works brilliantly.
/r/seduction09/11/13 03:38 PM
2

Exactly! If you can't see someone for 2 weeks, calling is essential.
/r/seduction17/10/13 02:34 PM

I would personally call. If you're not completely confident in yourself, I'd probably text for arranging the first meeting, then call in future.
/r/seduction17/10/13 02:13 PM
2

Get out of your comfort zone and practice until it's second nature. My phone calls never end in a negative response. It's too easy for things to be miscommunicated over text.

You have no idea how happy I am seeing a post which isn't full of bullshit 'be yourself' non-advice. Everything you've said is spot on, good work mate.

I've got to be honest, I've only briefly skimmed Gambler's work. If it's like you say I'm going to have to give it a read. Have you read any of hi books/articles that you would recommend?
/r/seduction16/09/13 02:42 PM

I could not give a shit what you think, if I'm completely honest. A quick read of your comments and I can't take you seriously.

See, I appreciate this response a lot. You're correct in that something around the same sort of theme, such as making fun of how I've approached would be used a lot. I guess they're 'situational themes' if you have to give them a name. And I completely agree with you. I'd be really interested in seeing some posts from you in the future, as Seddit severely lacks this kind of content. The best 'PUA's' (although I hate that name) are situationally aware. Something that is almost impossible to teach…

I'm sorry mate, but you're wrong. If you're approaching women by stating your name, you're boring. You will not have success with this in a club environment. It's not girls remembering what you said. It's about being different and making a girl wonder what you're about. If you continue to bore women with uninteresting openers, by all means go ahead. You make my job a lot easier.
/r/seduction16/09/13 01:47 PM
1

Nice! That takes a lot of balls. I regularly ask a girl to come over with hand motions, but have never pointed. Pointing is usually thought of as quite aggressive?
/r/seduction16/09/13 11:45 AM
-2

No, you can't. I'm afraid in a club environment you're going to get palmed off if you're not interested and different. Don't take Mark Manson's take on pick-up as gospel. Read other points of view.
/r/seduction16/09/13 11:10 AM
1

Why hello Mark Mason disciple. May I ask, how many times do you pull in a club environment? Mark Manson's book is incredible, and it's changed my life. HOWEVER, you will get 0 results in clubs following his, 'don't worry about it' approach. As I've stated a number of times, these aren't canned openers. These are EXAMPLES of the type of style I use. I would be interested if you posted something similar for yourself?
/r/seduction16/09/13 11:09 AM
-6

You may find it stupid, and everyone is entitled to their opinion. My question would be how many 9 and 10s do you approach in clubs? This (or something similar) works incredibly well in club environments. Straight away the girl knows I don't take myself seriously (it's said in an obviously joking way). These aren't hypothetical openers I'm suggesting you try. These are things I've said in the past which get an incredibly positive response. I have a very particular style and like I stated in the …

I hate beating around the obvious. It's so much better to make your intentions clear. Bear in mind that I'd only use these in bars and clubs

Ah ok, in that case definitely pursue her if you find her attractive. Definitely go for drinks. You want her to be just with you. Have a few drinks, get to know her and see if you like her. I'm not a fan of group dates, but if you would be more comfortable maybe consider it. My advice is go for drinks by yourself. It's scary at first, but really good fun.
/r/seduction15/09/13 09:56 PM
1

That's the idea. I'm making it obvious I'm starting a conversation. I'm making fun of the arrogant stereotype, and because she's very much accustomed to it, it works. These girls are being approached all night every night. I want to make them laugh and realise that I'm not like the 100 guys she's just had to reject. I'm glad you posted though, these won't work for everyone and that's important. There is no copy and paste way to build attraction. I'm just simply posting things which work for me.

Logistics is a new frontier? It's spoken about in almost every single book I've read. I can't believe ensuring you have a place to go afterwards involves more than 5 minutes thought. Jesus, this is a prime example of a ridiculous level of over-analysis going into a date, which ultimately leaves newbies primed to fail.
/r/seduction15/09/13 09:31 PM

Yes, I've used every single one of these. It boils down to how you say it. I find, "Hi, my names..." really fucking boring. These are my way of polarising. When a girl finds them funny, I know we're going to get along. As I said, I would never use these on any girls other than 9s and 10s who know they're hot. Definition of a direct opener: An opening line or statement that conveys direct interest in the target or set. If a girl isn't clever enough to realise I'm hitting on her after one of these…

This post resonates with me from about 2-3 years ago. My advice? Experiment. If you've never had a relationship then you have no idea what you're missing. Don't actively go out of your way not to experience one. If you get numbers off girls, invite them out for drinks if you find them attractive. You don't know if you'll like them until you get to know them. I don't think you should plan to get into a relationship. A healthy beginning is one where you can't put a date on when the relationship st…

This. Really good to see some outer game posts! I love teasing while complimenting, or a light backhanded compliment when you know it'll be received well. Following on from the art example: "I don't believe it's as good as you say. Given your current track record it's going to be about a 4/10. Prove me wrong." If she makes an excuse about going back: "You were lying weren't you! It's a shame, I was beginning to think you were cool."
/r/seduction15/09/13 06:31 PM

You're not alone thinking this. I've said it for a while and others have posted too. I think we need tags for posts to make it more obvious. We should try to post more outer game topics too though.

I have girls I see regularly who are 3-4 hours away on the train. Don't let distance be an obstacle! If you create enough attraction, girls will travel to meet you.

A good seddit post will try to connect its ideas with theories and practices generally accepted by the seduction community. A bad seddit post will show that you have made no effort to investigate any of these baseline materials. You've raised a good point here. But I think it's the other way around. It can become frustrating having to explain in the most basic terms in all your posts. This is why tags would help, as you can expect those reading your post to already have the same foundations.
/r/seduction28/08/13 08:38 AM

Thanks for the reply Throwaway. I appreciate that we've gone some active moderators. My suggestion was that people could help categorise their own posts. You're right though, you can tag it anyway and I might start doing this. It just makes it a lot easier to see when it's an official tag.

Wow, I just looked at your comments. You have some serious issues with your self-confidence. Just because you're unable to do something, doesn't mean it's fake. If you're not here to learn, there's no reason to stay.

Text once a day. Take some time and think about what you're going to text. I like to poke fun at things they did on the first date. Have a running joke going and make her laugh. Sometimes I don't even text for 2 days. Then I just send a funny or random picture. Cute dogs or cats work a treat. Reddit always has loads of those.

A fellow Londoner! I don't think anywhere has girls easier than others it's all your state of mind. I wasn't in London, visiting somewhere else. I actually think it gives you a boost visiting somewhere new. Can't give too many details as I don't use my real name on purpose. Places like fabric are pretty easy to pull because everyone's on drugs. Girls on mandy love everyone. You've got there options there. Dance with them, talk in the smoking area or at the bar. My preference is in that order.

You never admit you fail. Big difference. Having fun is very different to performance. I always have fun, but if I haven't been as confident or charming as I know I can be, I get annoyed. Learning to live with failure is a lot better than pretending it doesn't exist. Failure motivates you to improve.

Man there were so many. Treat it like a game. Just don't take anything they say seriously if you know it's a shit test. This one she was trying to show I really wanted her. Her: I have a boyfriend. Me: Same. Her: What!? Me: I'm gay. Her: Fuck off. Me: Why'd you think I haven't taken you home yet? You don't interest me. Her: What!? Are you actually gay?? visibly annoyed Me: Aww that's cute, you really like me. Her: You're such a dick.

If you can't say you're more attracted to someone than another person, you live in a black and white world. That's incredibly shit. I base my actions on how good looking a girl thinks she is. I usually have to tone down my game a it's pretty aggressive and direct. She's one of a select few who I've had to up it for. I'm definitely not outcome independent. I will be genuinely pissed off with myself if I know I could have done better. It's something I haven't grasped in seduction. Great if it work…

We were dancing, at the bar and just talking outside. I sort of lost my cool at one point and came to the point of almost begging. She took the piss out of me quite a bit. To be fair I deserved it. I had broken her normal routine of owning any guy who spoke to her, she deserved to be able to rip on me for a while. By that time she was so hooked I didn't care. I just thought to myself, how much does a girl have to like you to refuse to let you go and therefore steal your phone?
/r/seduction26/08/13 10:27 PM

Unfortunately it's the only way people will take note of how successful a night is. I try to use Mark Mansons scale of 0 and 1 during the day, but in a nightclub there's so many women you need a scale.
/r/seduction26/08/13 10:26 PM
13

Haha cheers mate. Best piece of advice I can give is buy yourself a copy of Mark Mansons book Models and read it all. At the end of the day I don't think anyone needs to imitate anyone else. Doing that will just come across as forced. You have your own style, you just need to find it.
/r/seduction26/08/13 10:24 PM

Just having a laugh. Showed I didn't give a shit about if people thought it was weird. I was confident, messed around and she found that attractive. For some reason I find lesbians incredibly easy to pull. Something about the fact I know their off-limits means I have no fear of rejection whatsoever.
/r/seduction26/08/13 10:23 PM

Haha, I struggle with this seeing as I can barely hear anything in a club. You've got a few options. I usually just shout, use signs, dance or if I really want to speak to her, either get her a drink or go outside for a cigarette. Smoking areas are the place I'll K/F-Close 70% of the girls I get with. It's such a good way to isolate them and friends are use to having their friends go for a smoke and won't bat an eyelid. I speak to as many people as possible in the smoking area as you'll end up s…

But I love that. I love confident girls who can be as much of a dick as I am. I hate not having to work for a girl. She's fun and I like that.

Exactly! Without the blonde the brunette never would have approached. The brunette also kept bringing her up, giving me so many shit tests it was unreal. Brunete: Why don't you go and speak to the blonde? Me: I might if you don't keep me interested Brunette: I'll try my hardest ;) Me: Let's hope that's enough She kept pushing to see if I would crack. Kept saying everything she could think of to get me off guard and show weakness. It was the most fun I've had pulling a girl.

I get what you mean, I always roll my eyes when I read something like this. 'Oh yeah sure, she was a 9, whatever'. I had the entire club staring at her while we were talking. She's probably in the top 3 best looking girls I've ever been with. Trust me, she was beautiful.

There's a difference between a fake alpha and an alpha. If you think you're going to get the best looking girls in the world by 'not caring', you have a horrible wake up call a couple of years down the line.

You have some good points. Seduction has turned into a place where inner game seems to triumph over everything else. What people don't understand is that it doesn't matter how much 'inner game' you have, if you can't chat to a girl, win the group or defend a girl from other guys. People want to be told it's easy. I'm sorry but you're never getting a 9 or 10 with just inner game. I still love Seduction, but it's now basically n00bs telling n00bs what they want to hear. EDIT: Instead of downvoting…

Mate thanks for posting, loved reading this. I can read body language, control mine/her's body language, remember and pull out PUA techniques, aware of my surroundings, and just much more relaxed. I also don't feel like shit and dry the next day. Can't say just how much I agree with this. Going to try drinking less over the next few weeks, especially as it's a double positive. As I said, the girls in the store were all 9/10. That's having standards. Talking to everyone you could have a conversation with is such a good way of building confidence. I left the store feeling shit because I didn't act like myself. I acted shy and awkward. If I hadn't bothered going back I would have been kicking myself wondering why I'd acted so strange. That's the point of the post.

There's long been this notion on seddit of forcing interactions with women. Look, if you're over approach anxiety, then you do not have to walk around a store and approach every attractive girl you find. Be selective and natural... there are too many beautiful women out there to hit on every single one. What you did was overkill. Yea you number closed, good on you, but it's totally OK to not go out of your way to approach sometimes. I can't disagree with you more. If you have the attitude that y…

Although this is a good answer, by OPs question, it's not difficult to see he's pretty clueless. He has no idea how to escalate or start a sexual relationship. Nice man! Would love to visit Hong Kong. Yeah exactly my point, buying expensive drinks gets you the attention, because everyone wants free drinks. Girls go as soon as the alcohol stops flowing. In terms of what type of dancing I do, I honestly don't know how to explain. I go to a lot of clubs playing house, so it's pretty chilled. Agreed, groups between 4-8 are my preference, but when you're nearing 8 there's usually a girl in the group I'm going for rather than randomers. Definitely having fun…

Some good points here. Regular - completely agree with you. Can work wonders, especially with girls who require more work than a one time conversation. Some of the most fun 9s and 10s I've been with have been through seeing at the same place more than once. Learn to dance - YES! It's so rare to find guys who can dance. Girls fucking love it when you're not only confident, but good at dancing. Substances - Really don't agree with this. I do my fair share of molly, probably once every 1-2 weeks, b…

I completely disagree, I've never been out on a night out and haven't drunk. Seduction for me is night-game when I'm tipsy/drunk. Maybe don't drink as much? You can end up regretting getting too drunk of course, but just pace yourself?

Really good question. I'd like to hear some other people's opinion. Personally I will always try and hold eye contact with a girl for as long as possible before I approach. If a girl keeps looking at you without breaking away for about 3-4 seconds then I take that as an invitation, 'I want you to talk to me'. In terms of establishing a presence, this is a personal preference. It completely depends on the club. If you're going to a club which has people buying £1000 bottle of champagne with firew…

I think this is culture. If you said this in England, you would get a blank stare as the HB walked off. It's one of the worst responses I could think of. I can't stress this enough, if you think something is going to come off as corny, don't say it. The only exception to this rule is if you're confident enough to joke about it if the HB calls you out on it.

I thought about explaining it, but thought it would ruin it for people who understood the reference. It's just a different take on the whole 'stop reading reddit, and get out there' posts. I use to pay WoW (we're talking 6+ years ago) and thought that more than likely the guys here who struggle to realise the importance of failure would understand the reference.

I was thinking I'd wake up tomorrow with 0 sedditors having understood. This was definitely worth while, thank you.

Don't think you get what I'm saying. I wouldn't even consider a girl, no matter how hot they were as an occasional FB. If I'm not enjoying it, I make it quite clear and she's gone. A girl can be a HB10 and have a shit personality. Two very separate things.
/r/seduction05/04/13 02:04 PM

Attractive was the wrong word to use, I should have used something like appealing. I can't stand seeing girls I find annoying, no matter how hot they are. Each to their own.

There's nothing like a girl who knows how to present herself with the right type of confidence.

Piece of advice: Redditors have a small attention span. Break up your paragraphs and make it easier to read. With a long post like this, do a TL;DR.

I'm actually going to disagree with the majority here. If I'm chatting to a girl and know there's interest, I'll often look at other girls or people intermittently. A few seconds of looking into her eyes, and then a couple looking elsewhere. Doing it properly conveys confidence. You don't want her to think she's the only thing you're interested in. Just make sure you don't look nervous.

I'd actually find it pretty attractive. Depends how you go about it.

God you're a dick. Anyone who's been in the game for a while would disagree with you. A 10/10 can be the most boring, pathetic person and therefore not attractive in anyway. A girls got to be fun, looks are a necessary bonus.

You'll be amazing how much is confidence and body language. This is focussed on guys, but have a read and let me know if you find it useful: I love this post on body language and confidence. There's quite a few little things girls can do to come across as more desirable, which has nothing to do with looks. Being unavailable and mysterious is a massive turn on for me.

I'm naturally really skinny, so used this workout. I'm lucky that I can't get fat, but it means muscle is hard to build. This workout has helped me put on 2 stone of muscle in a few months: http://www.muscleandstrength.com/workouts/dougs-mass-building-routine-for-ectomorphs.html It's a lot of work, I normally go the gym 3-4 times a week for at least an hour. The results are well worth it.

It's starting to annoy me now. You would rather believe yourself (who you've admitted isn't successful) than PUAs around the world? Looks don't matter. Stop blaming a lack of results on it. Have you seen some PUAs? Their fucking ugly. And yet they fuck 11s on a daily basis.

Hey, welcome! I would actually recommend reading other books after you've read them. They're generally considered a bit outdated in the community now. The general consensus is that canned openers and strict ways of doing things aren't the way forward. My advice? Focus on becoming 100% confident in yourself (inner game). There's loads of ways to do this. The most helpful techniques I've found I put in my post here.

Then only use a reliable source like http://www.muscleandstrength.com/. Only written by personal trainers and ex-bodybuilders, but I get what you mean.

Focus on building confidence, not getting results. Focus on improving areas of your life like the gym or doing something you really enjoy. Become outcome independent. If you're constantly thinking about having no results, you'll have no results.

What are you doing? Have you made any FRs? Go into as much detail as possible what you do when you attempt to speak to girls. It might be as simple as your coming across as strange.

My favorites are as follows: If you're a beginner, read this. I love this post on dealing with shit tests. I also love this post to use a rough guide to how you should go from number to first date. But please do your own thing, otherwise it will feel forced. Before I go out I love to read this. Puts me in the right frame of mind. I'll post a list of all the material I used in a separate post. But I highly recommend putting together a doc with stuff you love, or saving the seddit posts you most e…

I always approach and speak to women with the goal of getting a number on nights out. I go out a few times a week drinking with friends or work mates. It always involves me drinking alcohol and I actually massively disagree with others who say this is a bad thing. I don't want to bother women at times when they don't want to be approached. Controversial I know, but it works for me. I'm going to post a FR on my first proper night out, it was amazing.

It's not staring down, it's just looking at them. It's awkward and that's the point of it. You end up not giving a shit. Make sure it's a 'friendly' look, not staring them down.
/r/seduction30/01/13 09:46 AM

When I'm walking down the street, I'll always look at people. People I know is completely different, I wouldn't stare at them haha. In conversations I'll make eye contact, but not to the point where it's weird. Always look at someones eyes when their talking, but it's alright to break eye contact when speaking yourself.

I said this to another guy. You think you're ugly? How the fuck are you supposed to persuade other people you're worth getting with if you consider yourself ugly? Fuck that kind of attitude, it's shit.

So true. If you have low body fat you'll see huge visual differences in under 4 weeks doing weights.

I'm not attempting to get these girls numbers, it was just to speak to strangers with the objective of building confidence. An example is in a queue, just making a remark like 'You'd think they'd get someone else on the till wouldn't you?' Such a generic comment, which will get a smile and a response like, 'Haha yeah you're right.' That's it. I wasn't looking for anything else. I've never stopped someone in the street to talk to them, but just make sure I speak to people when it feels natural an…

You didn't learn anything positive? So what? Going to Amsterdam is about enjoying yourself. Stop being so judgmental of yourself. Like I said, just get out and do it. Just speak to random people, just like I've said. Doesn't matter if their male or female, you're just building confidence. And jesus christ, if you view yourself as ugly and fat, how do you expect anyone else to think different? If you wake up in the morning and look at yourself and think that, then you've got it all wrong. There's…

Nope I've graduated from university in the UK. Not much I can do about proving she's a 10. She models and is the kind of girl you'd keep looking at in the street or think 'OH MY GOD' if you saw her in a bar. Getting her number was the most fun I've ever had to date. Will be writing a proper FR later, probably next week.

I should have been more clear. These are girls know me. I use to go to the gym a couple of years ago, but stopped once I was in a relationship. I also use it as a thing to joke about with girls. I'll jokingly be arrogant and ask girls to touch the 'guns' or tell me how big I look. It's amazing how well it works. Getting girls to make fun of me shows confidence and removes any level of awkwardness there was.

The worst thing you can do is say nothing. Walk down the hall, look at them in the eyes, smile and just say 'hey'. It's so simple. But once you've said hi once, you can slowly build up to having a conversation. So much easier speaking to someone you have small talk with on a regular basis.

Good work man! I personally love the eye contact game. Especially when you end up looking at a cute girl for over 10 seconds. Great feeling.

Really good point. This was just supposed to be a thank you post which turned into a summary of the things I personally found helped me. You're right that it won't be exactly the same for everyone, but going to the gym, enjoying what you do, becoming confident through eye contact and conversation will improve anyones game. By the way, your a legend for going Amsterdam. Been there twice and I love it. I'm going to post some FRs soon. Probably next week on lines I've found really work. But honestl…

I have so much to tell but thought I'd keep it brief to start with. Wasn't sure if people would read it all. Some of the FRs over the last few months are fucking amazing, I can barely believe them myself! Will definitely post them if people are interested.

Completely agree with this. Also, I find foreign girls are more up for speaking to strangers. After all, they're either on holiday or travelling (unless they've moved). Make fun of the language barrier and get them to teach you a few words, I find this works a treat. They normally find you attempting to speak their language hilarious, which opens up opportunities to pretend to act offended. Before you know it, you've got a few numbers!

Hmm, a 32 year old will not feel confident fucking a 22 year old. That's quite a gap. I persuaded her 26 was ok and that was fucking difficult. But I think your probably right, I'm going to try and stop bullshitting.
/r/seduction27/08/12 06:51 AM

Yeah because that's exactly what feminism is all about. Nothing to do with equality, all to do with being a beta. With an attitude like that it's no surprise people find it hard to talk to women. If anything I use feminism as a talking point. How could it be seen as a negative in anyway?
