He doesn’t know how much exactly I earn but he knows that I have a high income. And for the gifts, he said he doesn't want a gift that cost me more than 5$

Yes I can leave but after facing a big pressure (I left someone before him but we’re in engagement stage and leaving him was like a hell, so leaving someone in marriage stage should be harder unless he cheats, beats or drinking). We met through a friend of both my family and his family and we liked each other, we talked so much on the phone and met in person for a few times. But on the phone he was very honest (as I thought) but when I start to live with him, I start to know the real him. And bt…

Well we met on August and it was an arranged marriage, and I couldn’t have much more time to know him more.

Well I agree that lying would make me frustrated and I really hate it. But in that day since I was reacting so cold and he was afraid of losing me, he would say anything to make me forgive me of leaving me like that for the whole day. That’s why I will give him a try but I wanted him to understand that excuses doesn’t matter as long as you’re telling the truth and apologize.

Thnx! Actually he told me that he was texting me but his messages were not received and also he told me that he came home when I was at the grocery but since he couldn’t find me he left again (I’m sure 100% he didn’t come home). Plus he told me he hang out with his brother only because his brother needed him to help him while he actually went to his brother and then to his friends to smoke hookah etc etc. When we went to sleep I reminded him when we first met and he missed our date and simply to…

Thank you! But I’m not sure what’s the proper way to talk about it. I don’t want him to think that I’m controlling him.

It’s not acceptable as well, but some do that if the other partner is having work or study and cannot leave the country.

3 years Well I support him for things I believe that it won’t hurt our relationship, but leaving separated for 3 years is too long for me.

2 months is insufficient to say he has observable patterns of behavior. Yes that’s true I still don’t know him that much. How old is this guy? 29 Reminding him that he caused you both to miss out on something fun is how you start nagging. Never thought about it that way, so is it better to not mentioning my plans at all after the engagement day? Because I thought he would understand that communication is important. Your job is to decide if what good he brings outweighs the bad and then not compl…

It’s an arranged marriage so we only had 2 months to be together and no he never done this before and when he doesn’t call he would apologize for that.

Yes Yes No I don’t live in US and the female is excepted to plan the party which I’ll do but still not sure if it should be long or not because we haven’t discussed it yet

He prepared everything related to the court and this kind of stuff but I wanted to invite him and celebrate at my house but if I do that his schedule might not be free, so I prefer to wait him to till he gets relaxed.

How far in advance is this? I am willing to be wrong if it's within the next, say, 10 days. But if it is more than a month out, I 100% stand by my initial statement. You mean my engagement day? It should be on next Friday (after 3 days).

Thank you again! But when he comes back should I tell him something? Or should I show him that I’ll be there for him whenever he comes back?

Last time we talked was on Saturday and we agreed that we need to discuss things about our furnitures but I didn’t hear anything from him after that (we would usually text/call each other everyday).

4

Thank you for your response I never thought about your reason but strangely we agreed that after getting engaged we’ll be texting each other more frequently since we’ll have a semi-LDR. Plus, we agreed to discuss some stuff about our furnitures so I guess he’s afraid to get to this step and make a commitment so he doesn’t want me to see that part on him. Anyway, I start to worry if he would do this again and again when he feels stressful. That’s why I want him to understand that we could lose fu…

Thank you for your response and sorry to hear about your mental issues, hope you feel better soon. Btw, when you mentioned “indifferent”, you meant he will feel like I’m a guy? Or I’m careless about him?
/r/RedPillWomen22/11/21 12:03 AM
1

Thank you but don’t you worry that he would think that you’re so cool so he will bring it with him in the future? Or it’s okay for you to talk to you about attractive women in a serious relationship?
/r/RedPillWomen21/11/21 10:34 PM

She’s my best friend but I feel she doesn’t trust me, for example she never phoned her husband in the front of me until I became taken
/r/RedPillWomen21/11/21 10:24 PM
3

Exactly! Both of us would find some people attractive but I don’t think it would benefit us. I was just worried that I’m super jealous or insecure 😅
/r/RedPillWomen21/11/21 10:13 PM
2

If a woman does this to you will feel she is not into you or she is super confident?
/r/RedPillWomen21/11/21 10:11 PM

The funny thing is that one of them didn’t want her husband to know how I look like 😅, and I asked them “if you’re so cool about that then why you don’t talk about hot guys with your partner? Or you just know that it’s disrespectful to him? And they went silent.
/r/RedPillWomen21/11/21 10:11 PM

Exactly that’s what I said and actually I’m not sure what’s the point of knowing that.
/r/RedPillWomen21/11/21 09:32 PM

Wonderful because I was really worried about having different tastes. I thought they are essential in a relationship
/r/RedPillWomen16/10/21 12:26 PM
7

Thank you! Well I’m so worried that we have different taste of books and musics which makes me anxious, should I try to do things he likes?
/r/RedPillWomen16/10/21 12:11 PM
2

Thank you! I’ll let him know because I think my needs sometimes should be expressed.
/r/RedPillWomen10/09/21 01:45 AM
2

Yes it might be his way to express emotions, either way I need a validation to feel secure in this relationship. I think Dr. Alan wants to make him the initiative and the leader of the relationship. I think I’ll take your advice. Thank you!
/r/RedPillWomen09/09/21 07:52 AM
2

I just need a validation to see if I should continue the relationship or not. It’s very difficult when you’re with someone and you’re not sure about their feelings toward you. Sometimes I just worried that he might still think about his ex, I just need a clear answer from him if he really wants to be with me or at least I want to get more attention from him. That’s it. :)
/r/RedPillWomen09/09/21 06:53 AM
1

I forgot to add that he never asked me about the department that we are going to move to or the furnitures, he would choose all these things by himself without checking with me, which really bothers me.
/r/RedPillWomen09/09/21 12:22 AM
2

What you said was such a relief, so what about the beginning of your relationship? How you were sure that he likes you? Plus, there are many things that I want to know about him but he doesn’t speak to me that much, he usually speaks about our future but I want to change the direction of the conversation and focus about the present and us. How can I do that?
/r/RedPillWomen09/09/21 12:15 AM
1

Yes I guess the love language is different. And I don’t find any reason to not leave me but maybe because he doesn’t want to hurt my feelings? Because he doesn’t call me very often and his schedule is busy and he doesn’t ask me that much about myself. He is cold when we text which I really dislike.
/r/RedPillWomen08/09/21 11:53 PM
2

Thank you for your response. Honestly I don’t fear of divorcing me for a reason but I fear dishonesty, cheating on me and staying with a man who doesn’t value commitment.

Thank you so much! Yes you’re right but I was surprised somehow of following two pretty girls. They don’t have real content, only some romantic poetry and pictures of themselves and they are not popular at all. They never mentioned each other in public but they can DMs each other. I know it should not be a deal breaker since I don’t know what really going on between them. And at the same time he tells me that our relationship is serious and currently he doesn’t have anyone else. I’m afraid that …

Thank you so much! Actually I need to hear the truth even if it’s not what I like. You are right 100%! I’ll try to be in a nun mode but not sure how to develop my mentality (I have a good social life and lots of hobbies so that’s not what I’m looking for).

I know it’s something weird but on the past I really like him (for a long time) and I was so happy when he initiated a conversation and exchanged his phone number. But we didn’t have a relationship since we just started texting, later on when I got engaged (I thought that was a real thing) I didn’t like the guy, like at all and I was comparing him with the one the I just ghosted.

But since he texted me yesterday, doesn’t mean that he still likes me? He was a second choice since there was nothing serious, but the other guy who was my fiancé was serious (I didn’t know him but after I met him, I didn’t like him).
/r/RedPillWomen14/12/20 06:45 PM

But since he starts texting me yesterday like out of blue. Doesn’t mean that he still interested?

2

Honestly yes that’s right.
/r/RedPillWomen24/11/20 09:46 PM
1

Thank you, yes I agree with you! I knew deep down that I’m not ready like AT ALL. And it’s unfair for both of us to be together while I’m not interested in him. I guess I’ll reject him.
/r/RedPillWomen24/11/20 09:46 PM
2

Yes it’s arranged (I wish it’s not). Meanwhile, I really want to be single and feel uncomfortable (and sometimes disgusted) when I hear that there’s someone who got married. Not every guy is the last chance. The possibilities of what you deserve and want is the goal, not just what happens to wonder by. Yes, you’re right! But I read the book “marry him”, and she encouraged women to say “yes” to the guy or she will end up alone like her. What you want is a loving man who is seeking someone to love…

That’s what I will most likely do 💔 Especially I don’t think I can change him, today I listened to https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-empowered-wife-podcast/id1495820520?i=1000470729800 her tips were useful but not for me, because I’m sure if I give him my trust he will screw up as he did before, and he will ask someone for help (even if it’s not necessary). Imagine that, he suggested two days for the wedding and after one week I told him which one I prefer, he said that he thought I’ll c…

EXACTLY! Having a controlling man is horrible and having a weak man is horrible too. For example, when I told him about my health issue, he told his whole family about it (I told him it’s a secret since it was about my private area) and when I found out about it, he denied that he told his family about it, then he said he was worried about me and he was sorry. Unfortunately it happened again, my mother had a surgery and I told him about it since I was at the hospital with my mother and he should…

Nice to meet you too! 💕 Yes dear that’s for right. Unfortunately in arranged marriage I only have a right to reject but not to choose someone.
/r/RedPillWomen03/10/20 09:30 PM

Yes I totally agree. I’m just worry that maybe I’ll never find someone who loves me and would do anything to me as he does and maybe if I give him a chance then he’ll change.
/r/RedPillWomen03/10/20 08:00 PM
1

I talked to them but they gaslighted me and sometimes they say that you are so lucky to be with someone who is very submissive. He will allow you to do whatever you want, and you can control him very easily (especially in my culture many men are controlling women) but actually this’s what I’m looking for, I want someone who is protective and I’ll be submissive to him (but of course without losing my right to study and work). But finally they said do whatever you want.
/r/RedPillWomen03/10/20 07:41 PM
3

Honestly, it’s very clear that I’m not into him. I reply to him very late, I never said “I love you”, I miss some of his calls without calling him back and when I’m with him I wouldn’t eat very well and look anxious. I feel very sorry for him, I know I’m horrible and disrespectful by doing this to someone who loves me. I try very hard to love him but as long as I meet him, I lose my interest (I heard love is a choice but this technique doesn’t work with me). However, I’m surprised that he never …

Yes improving someone would be great! But I should accept someone as he is, if he changes then that would be good but if he doesn’t then that should be fine. Plus, I cannot help someone to have a high self-esteem or make someone more masculine. I see in your other comments that your marriage is next month and you don't have time to find another one. I wish you good luck, whatever you choose! Thank you dear 💕 here any old woman would say a good man is one who doesn't drink, cheat or beat his wife…

Cross-culture advice is hard to give. Yes I feel you. But I as - someone who is from another culture - can assure you that humans are humans and they have the same needs and arranged marriage has many problems and even if it has a low rate of divorces, that doesn’t mean it’s successful because both partners are staying for children and social status but in fact they miserably sleep on different rooms. And thank you for your understanding, what we want is different from what our parents want. My …

Yes I’m very happy that I finally convinced my parents! Actually before I got engaged for one week, I was talking to another (online) man who was very intelligent, handsome and masculine. We talked for like 3 times so nothing was serious. And when I got engaged I stopped talking to him because I thought that man (my current fiancé) will be my husband and I should never cheat on him (even emotionally). The grass is always greener or something like that :p LOL exactly! In my pervious relationship my bf was dominant and very experienced and I really liked him so much, but at the end I broke up with him since he was a cheater and manipulative (and after the relationship I start to realize that I was naive and I gave him everything but he never gave me anything except some romantic words). But in my current relationship, this guy is very honest and kind but he is not attractive as my ex.
/r/RedPillWomen08/08/20 12:10 PM
1

Right, but sometimes he thinks that I’ll find him attractive if he lets me lead, he thinks by saying “yes” all the times I’ll be in love with him. I just want to correct these concepts to him.

That’s what I was worried about. He is so sweet and inexperienced at all. I just want him to be understand what women need and want from men. But I’m afraid that since I’m the one who give him the book then I agree with all the aspects.

Finding an apartment was his job as we agreed. But I helped him to find one he tried but wasn’t serious about them. He said he will look for them but he looked for some of them.
/r/RedPillWomen19/06/20 08:09 AM

Yes it’s the first time, but other things we have decided were not critical. Plus, he said to me that he would be very carful with choosing the apartment and would choose anyone that I want.
/r/RedPillWomen19/06/20 08:07 AM

I told him why I didn’t like it. And honestly I think I know why he didn’t buy a good one, because they are expensive and he wants a fancy house after two years (wants me to have a debt with him when I clearly said I’m not going to do it).
/r/RedPillWomen19/06/20 07:54 AM

The tradition here is women do most of the housework and men should take care about financial responsibilities (and can get a help but not continuously form his wife).
/r/RedPillWomen30/05/20 08:27 PM
2

But what about the housework?
/r/RedPillWomen28/05/20 08:07 PM

Yes we can but only if we have an equal responsibilities at home.

TBH I couldn’t trust anyone to share a bank account. There’s a different between being naive and kind.

I think I should really discuss it soon. Thnx!
/r/RedPillWomen28/05/20 06:11 AM

I don’t want to share money because each one of us has their own roles. I do the housework and he will pay for the bills (I could do some help but not using a shared bank account).
/r/RedPillWomen28/05/20 04:48 AM

Thank you. I immediately did what you said. He told me that my fiancé is just so sensitive and everything is ok. I’m not sure if this was right but I hope so.

Thank you so much. I’ll wait for a week and if he doesn’t text me, then I’ll move on. And regarding the “indirectly” part, it was very informative, I said to him “next time when we speak I’ll tell you about X” is this too indirect?

You desire his attention and are getting mad that you don’t have it. He never told me that she was crazy. But he tells me some stories about her which terrifies me.

His ex was crazy, maybe that’s why he cheated on her. But he’s saying that I’m different and he promised me that he will never cheat on me but I broke up with him for this reason. And I’m worried that I took a wrong decision, and he will really change.
/r/RedPillWomen03/03/19 07:17 PM

Thank you! He was my first man in my life. And my father cheated on my mother, so I started to doubt if all men are cheaters - as he claimed -, he also told me about some men we know that they’ve cheated on their wives (their wives have no idea about their men’s affairs).
/r/RedPillWomen03/03/19 06:58 PM

Yes I broke up with him mainly for this reason but he said that I’m different. And he will not do it again, he said men do cheat because they don’t pickup women wisely but he thinks I’m prefect. I don’t know if I did a wrong thing or not, I’m really panic about having a new relationship again.

You blew my mind!! Your comment is really impressive! I think I need to check that book ... thank you :)

Yes he did. And yes we’re Muslims and we do the basics things like praying, fasting...etc. Our families are more religious. His family are living in a different village and no they know nothing about me - if they know about me before getting married they’ll never welcome me -. And I agree with you, sometimes I think he doesn’t love me enough because he didn’t marry me. And to be clear, in the beginning of our relationship we agreed to keep our relationship secret, and we agreed to keep my virgin…

Yes he said that because he wanted to justify himself and later on he admitted that he was totally wrong. Also, he never talk about his ex in a negative way, would I do really respect it.
/r/RedPillWomen12/01/19 07:25 PM
1

Yes he’s very romantic :) But sometimes I’m not sure if he would do what he is saying like “even if you leave me for years and we didn’t have a chance to talk, I’ll be waiting you till you come” and he would say things like that for many times. Also, he would say “no man in the history would love his woman as I do” ... etc. I love this thing about him but I’m afraid that they are just words, I mean I trust him but we have been together for only 9 months.

Thank you for your advice. But neither of you have committed anything, so you're just freaking each other out. I don’t know how did you come to this conclusion. Even if we didn’t get married till now, it doesn’t mean there’s no commitment. Actually I would never cheat on him even emotionally. And I’m not thinking about any other man, he is the only one who is in my mind. From an outsider's point of view, you should get married. Actually if he won’t marry me, then I’ll break up with him. But I’m …

Thanks for checking my post history. You’re totally right. My parents issue could be solved if and only if he is serious about getting married. I can confess them and he can show them that he deserves me. And about work, I was worried that if he liked me then he’ll like someone else at his job. But it seems that he’s is committed to our relationship and I asked one of his new employees about him - she doesn’t know that we’re dating - and she told me that he is very professional especially with w…

there is something else you're not willing to acknowledge. You’re right. I usually try not to travel for a work or something just to be close to him. I had an opportunity to go work abroad for 3 months and I didn’t go because I want to be close to him. Also I schedule my plans to fit his schedule - he is asking me to do that -. And now he would simply leave me alone? But I know a few people in LDR that meet once or twice a year but still going strong. Depends on the people I guess ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Sorry…

Hi again, I tried to do what you said. I tried to understand his situation and relax him. He starts to talk to me more but I just got a new problem I need your advice. This week I’m on my period and I told him that I want to see him but he makes excuses, today he told me that he’s going to travel to his parents this weekend. I’m really upset, I doubt that he is super busy so he cannot see me but last week he was available for me. I’m sure after he comes, he will ask me out. Should I tell him som…

If you can get any time you talk about what's going on and voice your concerns, that could be a good place to start. Sorry but do you mean I should tell him about my concerns before taking action?
/r/RedPillWomen21/09/18 10:05 PM
1

Yes I think I should tell him but I have to choose my words very carefully. I don’t want him to think the more physical contact we make, the more it bothers me. But instead we need to balance the emotional and physical contact.

I don’t trust my gut but sometimes I feel that I'm not his priority anymore. Even Bill Clinton would make a time for Monica Lewinsky.

I feel will definitely happen. Yeah pretty sure it’s a common issue. There always comes this point where I’m like just exhausted and tired of talking all the time. It’s fun for a while but sometimes it’s nice to just sit and exist and meditate together. Sometimes me and my sister do that. We get high, go outside, and just exist lol. Seems you already have a good relationship with your sister :) And yes I agree, we would never be in the mood all the time. But wanting to relax should be temporary.…

/r/RedPillWomen21/09/18 08:00 PM

We almost talk about everything. And usually he is the one who leads the conversation. And if we talk he would be the one who’s asking me to talk about my day and if I didn’t text him “good morning” everyday he would get upset. Not only that but he also wants me to notify him if I left the work -but I rarely do that-. He would cancel to meet his friends just to speak with me. But not anymore. And about forcing maybe that’s right. If he responds to me very late I’d do the same thing but now I sto…

6 months. And yes he told me that he’s my boyfriend. It starts since he started his new job (at the same time he started to have some personal issues I asked him if he wants to have a space because of that but he giggled and said no”, but it didn’t happen suddenly but gradually.

And how can I deal with that?
/r/RedPillWomen21/09/18 04:15 PM

I’m not sure if he is always doing this on purpose. But for example, I told him jokingly if he says a specific sentence to a specific girl then I’d break up with him. And next week he said the same sentence to the same girl which I believe it was too childish. I was silent but later on I told him that what he’s done is really bothering. So he apologized and never spoke to that girl again. Thank you for your advice :)

It’s unusual, he always on time and if he is not he would send a notice to me so I think I should give him a chance but I was already in the car when he reached the place. I want to talk to him, but he is mad now and ignoring me.

Yes he said it, but it was ridiculous, at least he should send a notice. And when I texted him at 8:37 he really apologized and told me that he will just reach ASAP but actually I waited for 40 minutes more -he lives near this place and he shouldn’t take that long time- and he gave me other reason -which is real- but I was so fed up and I didn’t want to hear anymore excuses plus I was already in the car.

I’m 23 YO and he is 37 YO. We don’t live together, he was my boss for one year and after I resigned he’ve been my BF for almost 3 months. He is always sweet and nice but I’ve noticed that he has a big ego towards the others but not me. He always apologizes and this time he apologized and begged me to see me for a few minutes, but I was already in the car and I told him that I cannot and he texted me back it’s ok and he wishes that I understand his circumstances so I texted him back and said I wi…

Great advice! I’ll do that. But what I understand from you is that he wants to feel desired, right? Well last time we had sex he told me before we me that after he hugs me I should turn my back on him and let “that thing” touching my ass. He wants to me to do something like that frequently and by myself. I feel he wants more than to feel desired. How can find these things or moves ?

All tips are useful but the first tip is very important, actually I never knew about it. And unfortunately I avoid using these words since I thought he might think I’m a dirty girl or something. But since you mentioned that, I’ll change myself and start to use them normally. Thank you so much!

Because I worked with him but we were working on a different branches. We never saw each other till I decided to get retired, then he asked me to meet him. So that's how I know him. And I was just planning to see him to say goodbye, but he said let's have a relationship and continue seeing each other. So I guess you are right. But do you think saying "I miss you" is enough? Haha your reply made me laugh. Anyway, I'm just afraid that he is putting this on me so he knows that I won't move forward -since I'm super shy- and I'll end this relationship. Thank you for your advice.

Thank you dear, what makes me really confused is that this man likes to lead and he was very flirtatious with me. He was very confident unlike me. He knows that I'm super shy, how could he except me to take the initiative? I was just wondering if he's trying to be polite so he's putting this on me because he knows that I wouldn't make the move.
