Hi So last year I texted a guy, we talked for a few times. He was interested in me and I should him that I’m interested in him as well. After one week I got engaged (arranged marriage) to someone and then I didn’t text that guy back (it’s my fault but I didn’t know how to explain it). After I broke up with my fiancé I was still thinking about that guy and attached to him so I tried to text him again (he thought the problem was because he deleted his messages) but I told him that wasn’t the issue (I didn’t say the real reason the conversation as that time didn’t help me to explain myself because he stopped in the middle of the texting). I was waiting him to text me but after 2 months he texted me again (yesterday), he sent a joke to me and I laughed and responded but he never said anything. I don’t like having on and off, and I understand that I ghosted him at the first place but it’s miserable if we text each other after two or three months. Should I say something like how are you? Or should I wait him? Because I don’t want to double text him.
