Def fix yourself unless you're under warranty, those orings are cheap. But a voided warranty is not.

I mean, you're not wrong, and I absolutely agree. But we've decided as a society that we don't want people dying in the streets, so we've accepted the cost of at least saving people. That's what I'm talking about.

I think the skill that is lacking is pragmatism and compromise. We keep teaching kids to never compromise and it's starting to manifest as people being unrelatable. Disney can take a fair chunk of the blame, but parents have been enforcing it, so really it's ultimately parents fault for instilling this uncompromising nature.

Dude, micrometers and dial indicators that fine are super expensive.

Eh, I'm of 2 minds on the abortion thing. And do read the whole thing before crucifying me lol. First off, yes, it's totally a cop out, and a bad thing to do. It leaves the father out most of the time. It encourages shitty behavior. And depending on your stance, it's straight up murder. The other side is a bit harder to think about though. Fact is, the cat is out of the bag. We're never going to unlearn about abortion, same way we'll never unlearn guns. Bans will only serve to prevent people who…

Thanks man, tbh, support is really what's needed, we just have to make sure women don't have a corner on caring. Sounds kinda wuss, but it's the truth

I feel you man, I fucked up too, after a 4 year relationship that fell apart because of chick getting bored, I made the stupid mistake of doing the same damn thing thinking it would be different. After another 4 years, here I am. Key is to relax, the opportunity will come. When it does, jump on that shit and don't let go as if your life depends on it. Cause it does.

Hey now, let's not lump food and cars in there. Like IKEA, they have some value outside of trying to fish up a chick to fuck. Granted I do motorcycles, but I can appreciate a nice looking car. Same with a decent restaurant, with the surplus cash you inevitably come by, it's nice to get a nice dinner now and then at least, more often the better Other than that, 💯. So much waste it's sad.

Ha right? Trick is going to be not falling off. I'll freely admit I made that mistake too. I'm not above it, we're all human. Difference this time I think is being able to see the score outside of the usual plantation

Dogs are awesome, but my dude, it might sound stupid, but fish have really done it for me. Its surprising how much personally fish have, and I get to spend time engineering better ways to support their lives. A few I've got are practically puppies. And I get the creative aspect of coming up with new and better ways to keep them healthy and happy.

This is true. Took me way too long to see it myself. But think, when she goes, imagine being the next guy to pick her up. Think of that guy, pour one out and say a few works for those of us saps that took longer to figure it out than you did.

I'll second the gardening thing. I do aquatic plants, easy to do in an apartment and doesn't take up a lot of space. Get to keep some cool fish too as a bonus. Even better, you can't forget to water them 😁

I think it's like a cat in the bag thing. We know it's possible, meaning SOME people will continue to try to do it regardless of other options. The best we can hope for is that the need dwindles due to other options. Let market need do its job
/r/MGTOW08/10/18 09:51 PM

Tbh quite honest, as much as I simply don't care about the topic, from a cost to society standpoint, I hope it stays legal. Ask any OB/GYN medical professional from the 50-60s before legal abortion and they will tell you about the horrors of the coat hanger. And guess who gets to foot the bill. And yes, we foot the bill anyway, but a sterile environment and proper tools make the procedure much cleaner with less risk. This translates into less care needed, thus cheaper

Bold strategy Cotton. Let's see how it plays out for them. Probably won't work well though. Cause those self fulfilled guys will just snag a younger pretty girl if they want one, or worse for them, not bother with a relationship at all.

Why is everyone up in arms about RvW anyway? What motivation does the supreme Court have to hear a super old case again anyway? It's not like there's new "evidence" to verify. The supreme Court doesn't decide "moral" rulings, that's for those wacky Muslim Sharia courts. Now if science came out and proved the soul and could empirically demonstrate abortion caused the destruction of said soul, then fine, it's something new to hear. Until then, there's no new evidence, thus no reason to reopen a ca…

Well the issue is wrapper languages, like Groovy is a wrapper language for Java. There are others, but they all have inefficiencies. Just have to figure out what the inefficiencies are and see if you can tolerate them

/r/MGTOW30/09/18 09:50 AM

Be careful with language wrappers too. A lot of times you lose big chunks of efficiency due to poor wrapper implementation. Would hate to see code that looks slick and should run well turn out to run like crap

Funny you mention meds. Now, I do realize AWALT. But I'm a firm believer in the AWALT spectrum as I personally dislike absolutes. And for whatever messed up reason, it seems like women with chronic or debilitating illnesses and conditions are the least crazy of the bunch. Seems like every one I've run across with like epilepsy, genetic disorders (vitiligo, thats a fun one I have myself) or other things like that don't seem to fall on the insane end of the spectrum. I dunno, maybe it's a fluke or…

This meme is solid except for that bit where it says lying about it is a crime. Crimes have punishments, and clearly lying about rape doesn't. So regardless of what the law says, if there's no punishment, then it's not a crime.

It's always a gamble. I work with an edge case as well. Similar to yours, and I can't prove it one way or another. Just understand what mirroring is, it's a powerful tool women have. Even if it's not mirroring, there is always the same thought pattern, it just becomes a question of how they act upon said thought pattern. Just remember, always condom, never cohab, and keep track of yourself.

Not to be a pedant, but "sports car" is actually a technical definition for a style of car. The traditional definition of a "sports car" was any car with two doors, two seats, a soft top and fit for competition. Anything else is a different category, including the same cars with hard tops, which are either coupes or touring cars, depending on other factors. https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a28225/sports-car-definition/

I like to raise a glass to guys like Chad. The lovable dolt who just wants to wet his dick. Doing us the favor of splitting us off from the thots that would use us. Ya ever have those Friday nights where you're hanging out with some old work buddies from a place you all worked at that you all hated? How you knock a few back and tell hilarious and grumpy stories about all the stupid shit that happened? And how at the end of the night everyone was all smiles and laughing and having a good time? This is like that, but slower. But not everyone has quit the job yet, and not everyone is fully over their old dipshit boss. And most importantly, who else can you go …

That's certainly better than nothing. And there's nothing wrong with not having kids. And I get it, cultural demise, birth date under replacement rate etc etc. But you also have to consider, would I subject another person to the immediate society I live in? Much less someone you actually love unconditionally. At least know for yourself if kids are a yes, no or maybe. I know for me, it's a no. No one is going to change that. It's still early in your relationship. She set the prime time table for her. Get you locked in before you start to notice the little things. Even at two years in, you don't notice the little stuff yet. That won't show until 3 years at least, sometimes longer. Some things won't even show until the marriage cert is signed. Plus, she clearly didn't ask your opinion on when kids should be a thing did she? It takes two to tango after all. And since being a good parent means you're putting in work, do…

Good on you for picking up English. It's got a lot of stupid rules and exceptions so mistakes are bound to happen. That said, your grammar is perfectly readable. Buying stuff second hand (used) is always a crap shoot. Even people who really know what to look for get screwed every now and then. I do motorcycles a lot and I still miss silly things. The important thing is that all of the chassis parts are there and in good condition. Everything else is replaceable. In the case of your piano, you're…

The money thing I can be a bit clearer on. Everything has a cost. The time you work has a price, stress has a price, how much you enjoy the work has a price, etc. You can make evaluating a job easier by equating all those things out into dollars. And for stuff like stress, there's no "correct" amount, it's exactly what you think it's worth. Basically, your comp (salary, insurance, perks etc) must be more than the cost to you. Otherwise you won't be happy. Management knows this, but they don't wa…

I'm not sure what industry you're in, but I do know in software, recruiters will ghost you. No matter how many times they say that won't, expect it. That said, if you're looking, you should always be looking, don't let up because something looks promising. Until someone shows up to the table with money, you're on the market. Remember, you work for money, not feelzies. I know your boss is getting to you, but hang in there. Again, not sure what you're job market looks like but it's always easier t…

Always my personal favorite, motorcycles! Most are easy to work on, shop manuals are freely available. Once you get in the swing of basic maintenance, move on to the harder stuff. Follow the factory manuals to the letter and you won't get lost. Resist the urge to go all in on an investment that is working. Eventually it will be the thing that's not working. Diversity of investment means you stay alive when things turn around. Focus on generating a quality percentage return over time. Looking at the actual dollar value can be a bit discouraging at first since you're not working with a big portfolio. But if you can maintain a steady good percentage return, money compounds and you'll be pulling in big bucks in time. Lastly, understand ful…

First off, one of the original core premises of nofap was to alleviate ED symptoms presumably caused by excessive masturbation. This only applies to people in a relationship with a healthy sex life! As others have said, humans, like other animals, are sexual, and have an subconscious drive for sex. Trying to ignore one of human's only instincts completely is going to cause problems at least, disaster at worst. Healthy human life involves sex, that's just a fact. This obviously leads to a logical…

Oh no, don't get me wrong, a cars useful life is much longer than its perceived useful life. Most US consumers buying new and close to new cars only hang onto them for a few years. Any work type vehicle (van, truck etc) is going to be different because of assumed better reliability (factual or not) For smaller consumer aimed vehicles, manufacturers have started targeting a useful life of only a few years before little shit starts breaking, (window and mirror motors are terrible about that). And …

For simple no frills dollar efficiency, any Japanese used car about 5-7 years old. Rock solid reliability, efficient, and buying used keeps the cost way down. Toyota and Honda are the two favorites in that category. Look for something around 5 years old. Reason being, in Japan, cars are required by law to be crushed and recycled at 10 years old. Keeps the clutter in the small islands down. Given that, Japanese car manufacturers design their cars to last those 10 years because the cost of owning …

Having been an OP for some interesting DAL.net channels, in my experience, rape fantasies are generally #2 right behind "daddy" fantasies. Suffice to say, there's A LOT of strange people.

I think the more proper thing would be to say see a trained "psychologist" instead of a "psychiatrist" or "therapist". There's a huge difference between the two. One is a doctor, the other is... not. As you said, psychologists have a very specific method, similar to any other kind of doctor, because they are one. Therapists and psychiatrists are crap. Been there tried that.
