Most of these would apply to bad moms as well, because this isn’t about men are bad fathers it’s about bad parenting things in general. This isn’t a gendered thing, I don’t know why they’re framing it like that.

Insanity aside, she’s setting her kid up for a miserable life. Revolving your whole life around avoiding all things to do with the “oppressor class” or whatever bullshit always hurts you more than them. This shit is not gonna pay off in the long run, cutting people out on a gender basis rather than an individual one is just reductive and always ends badly.

Notice how there’s not a single source sited 🤦‍♀️ Also, women spending more on pets doesn’t necessarily mean they’re taking better care for them. Sure, it could be money on vet visits, but it could also be money spent on useless shit like premium grooming, pet clothes, and gourmet meals the animal doesn’t need and may not even want.

The chemical castration thing and the rape axe are good ideas on paper but in practice I feel like they would do more harm than good. It’s too easy to weaponize shit like this against people who don’t deserve it. If punishments like this were used for any other crime it would be considered cruel and unusual punishment, which is illegal in most places, and the government shouldn’t get to pick and choose which crimes can be exempt from that. If they can get away with this they might extend it to o…

I’m not sure about the others, but I know Hakimi’s allegations are suspect as hell because apparently there were texts from the alleged victim bragging about seducing him or smth, I don’t know for sure but there’s a good chance he’s not guilty.

Careful, don’t make the rules too oddly specific or we won’t look any better than the FDS crowd and their ridiculous dating standards. These are reasonable though, just be careful.

This is 100% projection. Moms like her are always putting others before themselves because they think they can never put themselves first because that’s being a bad parent and a bad person. They see their husbands actually do something nice for themselves and feel the need to paint them as selfish so they can feel better about having no self esteem.

Why are they acting like having sex = giving up your dignity and the only was to keep that dignity intact is to receive favors. Sayings that all this extra stuff is needed in order for a woman to not feel “used” kinda implies that the act itself is inherently degrading for women, which isn’t true, and is ironically what they would call a “patriarchal standard”. Funny how they go against their own logic about these things.

Well, it's been proven that men tend to have more upper body strength because of hormones, but with training/knowing how to fight that difference can be largely equalized. Point is the difference, while it exists, is not so great that it warrants a specific ban on ever hitting a woman back no matter how badly she hurts you first
/r/EverydayMisandry20/05/26 10:05 PM
99

What is the bullshit of "men are stronger than women so therefore women can't do as much damage?" You do realize there are other ways, like hitting someone with an object or god forbid a weapon. Saying he can't defend himself no matter what is just setting him up to get his ass beat

Yes, it's not totally feminism's fault either. You're right, all of this existed long before the movement started. I'm only refuting the idea that (toxic) feminism had nothing to do with it

Exactly. I once saw a post that said "we're too okay with letting women cohabitate with the person most likely to kill them (their male partner)" and I immediately thought " if that's true then we're also too comfortable letting children cohabitate with the person most likely to abuse them and the second most likely person to kill them (their mother).

Exactly, what happened to her was horrific but not solely because of her gender. The whole "she rejected a classmate so he called the gang on her" thing was a lie. She was kicked off her bike by a group of violent teenagers who abducted her because that was their plan.

Kinda unrelated but only a dumbass would pick a city of 70% bears. That city would be non-functional. Unsafeness aside, bears can't manage anything, so 100% of the tasks would need to be handled by 30% of the population, which is a recipe for disaster.

I don't get why so many people praise HR as authentic gay content when it's obvious it was made for the female gaze. -Both MCs are masc presenting and conventionally attractive (Understandable because they're hockey players, but still) -Coming out is the main plot for the most part, there's not much external conflict (for the emotional drama and "aww, the gay bois finally accepted themselves!! 🥺") -Sex doesn't really happen outside of romance, not saying it needs to, that's just a notable Hallma…
/r/MensRights08/02/26 10:35 PM
15

Going off your point, I have also heard that the queer male content made by female creators is not often accurate to the experience. It presents this buttoned-up, disney-ified representation of gay men that is tailored to female preferences, and when you get too much of that, content made for mlm men by men looks less appealing and gets labeled as cheap corn compared to the soapy gay content by women.
/r/MensRights08/02/26 07:29 AM

Jesus Christ. I don't know what more they would want. It's almost like they just want to label all men as evil...

I call that having confidence. It's not being egotistical, it's standing your ground and inviting a debate. Not a gendered thing at all. Nobody wants to debate a "but I could be wrong" timid arguer.

Bro...he's a stylist. It's his JOB to look at naked teenagers because the Capitol decided that they needed to give children a makeover so they look desirable. It's not his fault the system is creepy toward the kids already. If he was a woman and Katniss was a boy nobody would gaf.

I think by saying "There's nothing 𝑙𝑒𝑔𝑎𝑙 you can do about it" they think OOP was implying that something 𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑔𝑎𝑙 must be done about, hence killing the mother. But why tf that was their first thought, I have no clue.
/r/EverydayMisandry14/12/25 03:40 AM

Yeah, it's a nuanced issue for sure. But I do think this "blue hole" could be a very real thing, but it's origins aren't clear
/r/MensRights13/12/25 08:27 PM
18

That's the crux of it, yes. But I can see this phenomenon elsewhere. Fewer options for clothes, care products, even just decorative stuff. Options regarded as "masculine" are often quite generic and bland, while options marketed as "feminine" are often varied and good-looking. Part of it has to do with the stereotype that women care more or buy more stuff, but I do think they could be onto something here.
/r/MensRights13/12/25 07:21 PM

I swear, seeing a completely unrelated post and immediately thinking about how this can be proof men are shit HAS to be a mental illness. These people are actively seeking it out.

90% sure they shared some sort of revenge porn on the Tea App. Also, a now-banned subreddit called "male criticism" apparently had a lot of images of men being raped. Not sure if all of them were posted by women, but still.
/r/EverydayMisandry07/12/25 07:21 PM
25

When I hear of a rape case, my first reaction isn't the textbook disgust you would experience looking at gross food, or body functions. It's more shock, sadness and anger, and hoping the victim is okay. Two completely different feelings, idk why they're comparing them.
