It’s wild how some people claim the stigma around male rape is just 'misogyny', like it only matters because it hurts women. What I find ironic about this is that by refusing to acknowledge misandry, they’re the ones doubling down on the idea that vulnerability is 'feminine.' And when people complain about men not speaking up, they'll just say "patriarchy this, men's fault that..." Meanwhile, you have people making content like this or implying that male victims don't matter since men are their biggest perpetrators rather than women. That last part isn't even true if you do a modicum of research into modern statistics.

It feels like they just use the term as a scapegoat because alluding to that alleviates them of any fault or guilt and doesn't conflict with their narrative.

Some female victims may become wet when being assaulted, are they no longer valid either? It’s almost like stimulating someone’s body sexually can make their body react sexually, whether or not they actually want what’s happening. Something like getting wet does not mean consent.

The original post is literally putting down victims in defense of abusers, OOP is a huge red-flag.
