Terrified of divorcemy stbx was also amicable in the beginning and then flipped the switch once she couldn't get what she wanted. Go and talk to an attorney bro; right now you have the advantage of still communicating with her and you can nail down key details before going through the court (especially with kids). Everyone's partner is going to be different so just sharing my experience. If she's losing her only friend/ best friend - why would she let go easily? Whatever happens, you are going to make it through it | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/12/25 08:55 PM

My wife wants out and I'm terrified.my STBX always had a list of things I needed to do and change while she had a list of ZERO things she was working on. what are you afraid of? | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/07/25 03:39 PM
Tips for combatting DELAYI had the case filed in June. Let me rephrase - we have a child together and must be within 25 miles of each other. How can I continue in making progress myself when the STBX's elevator isn't going all the way to the top? No Job = Cannot qualify for housing. Additionally, the daycare must be changed to something more affordable - also requiring her participation. Is there some type of tactic I can use to get her ass moving on figure out her own shit, because it's connected to my shit? | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/07/25 01:25 AM

Disability test?yesterday. she picked up a pan from the oven with her bare hand because her brain has so much on it. this is like one big accident waiting to happen; i'll look into this | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/06/25 11:04 AM
Custody Questionno way she's going to get full custody. Not after she's told me all her "postpartum" thoughts . i'm consulting with an attorney tomorrow. wish me luck | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/05/25 01:49 AM
Custody QuestionHow often can this be revisited? maybe i just wait for her to start working and then make a move lol I won't ever mind paying for my child's stuff but for her, she's done enough. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/05/25 01:46 AM
Custody Questionhow can i prove she is not capable of caring for her? she stays away from me and my daughter so much that if we open a closed door, my daughter will say "where's momma" (momma is always in the room away from us while we eat, play, learn, and go on activities) - she always needs a "break" literally after less than an hour of being around. tbh i've thought that she probably needs to get diagnosed with something because i honestly dont think she could work even 32 hours a week at a regular job. Her… | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/05/25 01:44 AM
Custody Questionmaybe i can just delay until she gets a job and maybe try to nudge her into getting one by getting the finances back in order . because she would not have any other option besides some type of retail job. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/05/25 01:38 AM
