I had no clue he was homeless until FT with his gf. If only you guys understand how well he played everything off. I’m still in shock.

Yea, that’s not something you can really prepare for. Because it’s not something that happened everyday. The whole situation was just weird

I tried to do a background check and pull up his records online before the date. But in the state I live in, these are not free. The cheapest one I could find was for $69. The only way you can obtain these records for free is if you are the person the records are about. I’m not sure why my states does so much to protect offenders. Some say it’s for job purposes. But it’s not right

Yes, I am honestly still coming down. I am still just very confused. I hate that I had to even witness any of this. His ex shared an article with me where he is literally on the news being arrested for stealing a car. I feel sick. But just trying to count my blessings and learn from the lesson at this point

Everything happened really fast. I’m just thankful there were so many situations preventing us from meeting up

That’s the thing. The biggest red flag was the FaceTime arrest. Which happened the day before I met his ex gf

Yes, after talking to my friends they all said the same thing. This was a huge thing for me as I’ve never seen anyone get arrested before. But I’ve come from a family where the men were in and out of jail. So there was a lot of emotional baggage that I didn’t really understand in the moment. But this is all just so draining. I am happy I’m safe. I feel lucky

Wow, okay.. so first off.. fantasizing about rape is normal in trauma victims. I was sexually abused as a child, grew up in a violent home, and then was date raped in college. By the time I was 19, the only way I could get off was if someone was very aggressive with me or if I fantasized/role played about being raped. I was embarrassed and ashamed of myself for a long time and tried to gain power over my weird desires by making it seem “kinky” and “sexy”. Of course guys wouldn’t hesitate to give…

I like long and slightly thick dick because I’m very tall and my cervix seems to be a straight shooter. Curved dick has always hurt me. I also like men who are slimmer rather than bulky. But not stick thin. More like slim with muscle definition. An even skin tone around the penis, circumcision, and a thick ball sack that kind of looks like one giant ball (but you can tell there are two) is my favorite aesthetic. I love to give head to guys with this kind of penis because I have had mainly good e…

By the way, you seem to be in good shape based off of your description. I’m sorry you had to deal with a man micromanaging you like that :/ I remember I was dating a guy who would tell me no dessert and stare at me while I ate so I would eat less. I starved myself and lost 50 IBS but I was soooo hungry! All I could think about was food

That’s true. I have noticed the inclination towards fixing. But it’s not fixing that they’re doing. It’s more like managing and coaching. I’m really not into that. I have enough common sense and discipline to push myself. If anything, I lose motivation when someone is up my ass trying to tell me what to do. Especially a man.

Why do they do this? It’s so fucking annoying. And they rarely take their own advice. My body is exhausted from cleaning up my room and taking my 60IBS of trash down 5 flights of stairs (my apartment doesn’t have an elevator). On top of that I am doing laundry and went grocery shopping. So that’s more weight I have to haul up the stairs. My friend randomly called me because he was in the mood to work out and wanted me to work out with him. We talked briefly about my diet and he told me how it so…

That sounds like they’re probably burnt out which might signify that you’ve either entered a highly stressful environment or not a very positive one. No one adores going into work. It’s our responsibility to try and make the 9-5 as enjoyable as humanly possible. But there are some cases where you just can’t win either because of outdated traditions, office drama, toxic management, politics, etc. No one is really gonna welcome you with genuinely open arms in a work place. But if everyone seems mi…

Discipline has been an issue for me. I think the reason I fall into LVW category right now is because I lack discipline. I’ve encountered so many obstacle due to not taking time to think clearly. And I realize I attract the same in my partners, people who lack discipline. Just now realizing how important discipline is when trying to level up.

I have been in more abusive relationships than I’m proud to admit. A few physically abusive ones, but most were emotional abuse. With the physically abusive ones, my exes actually attacked me becaaaauusseee I was trying to leave. They usually start inflicting the violence when they sense you’re going to leave as a way to beat you into submission basically. I recently broke it off with a low value man that I was dating from my job (like last night). I caught him wining and dining other women and …

hugs the seeds planted are the most silent of killers. There is also the reverse where they tell you about the things they liked about their ex that doesn’t fit or resemble you. For instance, he would brag about how good his ex gave head and as much as I’m not all that crazy about blow jobs, I found myself forcing myself to enjoy it to please him. My independence has always been their worst fear. And it’s sad and scary when you come to acknowledge this

My friend has recently come out as being a sex worker. She is beautiful and I’ve known her since before she was engaging in sex work. Ever since, I’ve been noticing that she looks tired and dead inside. I feel so bad for her because she probably doesn’t realize how much energy is being stolen from her. It’s almost scary to look into her eyes

This is disgusting and heart breaking. And this is why so many women stay in abusive relationships after they’ve had children. Too bad the poor children aren’t ever likely to understand why their mother wouldn’t just leave.

My heart... I think domestic violence shelters would accept her and her baby. That’s emotional abuse. But I’m not sure how countries outside the us differ when it comes to family shelters, I wish men could be punished for their cruel behavior towards women. But even law enforcement is hesitant to punish a poorly behaved man

Okay, so question... whenever I use the dumb and hot method, I come across women who act aggressively towards me and begin to see me as the enemy. I’m still not entirely sure how to handle this. I understand their frustration. But I’m not entirely sure if I also play dumb with them? That’s when it gets confusing.. having to maneuver between playing dumb with men and dealing with women who see through it and don’t care to understand my true intentions
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/08/20 03:58 AM

I also agree with the dumb fox method in real life. I mean I have used that method for a bit. It still doesn’t take care of all the hurt and frustration I feel regarding the way things are though. That’s why I made this anonymous Reddit account to vent about it 😆

I’m glad you took that jacket off. I have nice shoulders and anyone who would try to hide these from the world would be cut off. I hate men who try to detach you from your femininity. I had a friend who told me that men are innately jealous of the power that women hold, that’s why they try to control it.

I think the good thing is the more we learn the game, the more we can come up with counter attacks and defenses. I’ve noticed a good way to deal with people who go cold once you’re all in is to never go all in at once. Dating other people helps to prevent you from becoming too committed before the ultimate commitment (a ring). They say we value what we invest into most. And I think this is why men (who are not of means) are slower to fuck up after investing a lot into a woman

This is why I want to leave the counseling field. It’s even worse for abused women and children. I’m sick and tired of the gaslighting. But this should be of no surprise since many of the founding thoughts and traditions within psychotherapy originate from cisgender white men

When I was a pickmeisha, I remember I went to my first frat party with a bunch of coworkers (we were all in our late teens) and I remember one dude said to me “don’t worry about covering your drink, no one wants to date rape you.” as if this was the ultimate diss. I remember all his “bros” laughing at me as if I had experienced the ultimate rejection. It really got into my head. A few years later, I attended a similar party and I tried very hard to be looser and more easy going. That night, I go…

What scares me the most about love and dating is that men specifically can be head over heels in love with a woman but always have an exit strategy for when someone apparently better comes along. This almost seems like a silent code amongst men as when men are in long term relationships, it is common for them to encourage one another to not get “soft” and to keep options open. That’s why even though it’s draining, it’s almost safer to keep some mystery to you and never let anyone feel like they’…

I think it is every black woman’s duty to protect themselves first and foremost before looking out for the black community as a whole. Black women are notorious for risking their lives, their safety, and sometimes even the safety of their descendants, in attempt to look out for and protect the black community (specifically black men). I definitely think there needs to be a shift as a whole. But as one of the most disrespected people (especially in America), we (black women) owe it to ourselves t…

I get the need to be politically correct. But as a therapist, I think it’s really important to empower victims and avoid censoring ones truth in the midst of healing. We can focus on correcting ones perception once they get further along in the healing process. I notice it’s usually women who refer to their abusive exes as narcissistic. It’s not ironic that a vast majority of those diagnosed with NPD are men. It’s also not ironic that more than 80% of domestic abusers and violent offenders have …
