When Cardi left him over a year ago, due to his prolific cheating, he literally chased her around the world, trying to pop up and ruin her performances with cards, flowers and other corny shit.

And her people LET him. They allowed this man to try to ruin her sets. She’d already been indicted for beating up two bartenders that he’d cheated on her with.

It just goes to show you, just because a man has money, just because he goes above and beyond for a while, love bombing you after he does you dirty, he is still cheating TRASH. Which she should have known because he had a million kids by a million women before she even met him. He’s well on his way to Future status.

I see this as part of a bigger social change regarding cheating and women’s rights. We are all part of this new wave ladies, and that’s one of the reasons I love fds: a clear view about the fact that cheating is unacceptable.

Cardi isn’t the perfect hvw but please remember that cheating is abuse and so in average it takes a few attempts for a victim to leave her abuser. It’s (literally) addictive af and love bombing convince even the most intelligent women.

She's a brilliant, successful, ruthless, amazing woman.

Another reason she divorced him was that her networth is beginning to dwarf his. She knew he was a serial cheater and while I don't know whether or not they had a prenup in place - once her income/networth surpasses his, he would be able to cheat on her, divorce her, and get a fat alimony check from her and she was smart enough to see this coming and put an end to it before it happened.

Better to divorce a cheater BEFORE he can get alimony from you than after.
