That guy has a good sense of humor and a silky voice, therefore probably not an incel.

If a serious boyfriend won't let you look at his phone, he is hiding something or secretive- not long term relationship material.

There is no exception if he is 18 and her parents choose to press charges. If the parents are getting creep vibes to the point they press charges, something aint right.

Male incels and teenage boys love to give worthless relationship advice on reddit for some strange reason.

I appreciate your open mind, but judging someone for their past behavior isn't (necessarily) ignorant. Being open-minded about a dude that's giving a LOT of signs of being a creep is specifically what got us FDS-ers into some pretty big messes.

The meaning of the term "red pill" has changed from 2001 when the Matrix was popular and now. It has many more connotations in American society, and I think it is safe to assume that most men under 50 are aware of what it means now vs. when the movie came out. (Elon is socially awkward, and I will throw you a bone and say it's totally possible he was talking about the concept in the movie. But I doubt it.)

Sex that frequent leads to infections for women. UTI, bacterial vaginosis, yeast infection, bladder inflammation... I bet her boyfriend isn't even aware of those concerns.

Oh no... Not another columnist advising for "monogam-ish" relationships. I'd like to see the long term success rates for couples that do that irresponsible crap.

Not a bad mom if you're just trying to set an example for how women should get treated in relationships by not putting up with unfairness.

What an epic queen. I stopped doing all that in my last relationship because I lost all attraction to him, and he didn't notice. 🤷

Seriously, I feel you. I want a child, but I'm 36 and have yet to find a male worth procreating with. I would rather avoid having kids than bring someone into this world without a decent father. Single mothers are like super heroes in my mind, and I'm not sure I could cut it.

While I appreciate you sharing your comment, your first points are tone deaf. I left my forever-boyfriend I was with for 14 years and lost everything. It was a 50/50 financial relationship, so all my money went towards bills and he used "his" spending money on furniture, electronics, cars, ect. He said none of that stuff was mine, because technically he bought it. I can't afford a lawyer. And it is a misogynistic myth that courts always give the woman the child- 50% of the time the father tries …

Even in my worst pick-me days, I would have never entertained the thought of choosing a man over my cat. The AUDACITY of your ex!

r/fightporn loves blaming women for assault. Some of the commenters seem to really get off on watching women get pulverized by their partners. A video of a drunk man getting slapped by a woman than proceeding to nearly beat her to death was almost unanimously in favor of the man "defending himself." No, he retaliated, and with 1000 times the force.

I wouldn't say student loans lower a man's value at all. If he got the degree and can afford to pay the minimum payment, that's just part of his path to success.

Once we researched the amount of abuse going on in the industry, and the long term effects on the consumer's brain... Many, if not all of us at FDS have decided we cannot honestly be attracted to a man that watches it. (Also, in my experience, i dated a guy that watched it, and he rarely wanted real sex compared to guys that don't watch it when they have a girlfriend. And when he did, he wanted to include slapping, anal, ect.)

You're probably the only one on this subreddit thar feels that way. Women learn how to be treated by men by the males in their family. This brother is just showing his sister she is worthy of love and attention when she's feeling rejected. My father used to take me on outings like this so I would expect to be treated to dates when I got older.

It's become obvious to me that these immature abusive men date younger women (girls), so they can get away with their shit.

Tell her, and show screenshots. There's a chance she is a really good person, and would be kind to you in return. There's a chance you could save a good person from years of pain. Or she could turn out to be an immature brat stuck in denial and lash out, but I personally believe this is less likely.

My relationship involves video games and mutual me-time. We still snuggle and share snacks and kisses during these activities. We don't "ignore" each other. But personal space is different for everyone, and deserves respect as long as everyone feels happy.

That is so depraved. It is clear he would have LOVED to have been with her sooner, if only the pesky law weren't in the way. 🤢 He isn't even the least bit ashamed of being an ephebophile either (grown man attracted to teenage girls.) As an adult woman, I bet you were so repulsed.

No asshole is an asshole 100% of the time. Just because you can come up with petty examples of times he wasn't a monster, doesn't change the fact this man is a monster. He is definitely monster even if he has some morals. He doesn't have the morals that matter, the ones that determine if someone is a decent human being.

He sounds like he has a mental illness or a personality disorder, and frankly, he 100% among the lowest of LVM. You did nothing wrong by snooping on a liar. You followed your intuition and caught him. Never feel guilty for that. Or for being a Becky.

If I had not snooped, I would have never known my ex was on heroin and inviting his dealer/prostitute into OUR home when I had to travel for work. It's not like he was ever going to confirm my suspicions willingly. Just imagine what my life would be like by now had I not discovered the truth.

This exact scenario happened to me. It took spending time in mental hospital and professionals observing us during visiting hours for a counselor to suggest it might be him, not me that's my problem. He stormed out after less than 5 mimutes because I got weepy and he "doesn't do hospitals." I had to sit alone and watch the other women get joy from seeing their partners/family for the next 25 minutes. I'll never forget that day.

If your experience was like mine, I bet you were emotionally neglected/stonewalled nearly every time because you didn't express the anger "correctly." Even if you were reasonably emotional and not aggressive.

Reading this was eerie. I was a red-pilled pickme for 14 years with a man exactly like this. But once he turned to heroin, I was done trying. I wish I found this sub YEARS ago.
