Did we really need a video of a guy taking advantage of girls on ecstasy to learn pickup? This is stupid: This isn't what the EDM scene is about. It never was. Getting girls to dance with you, even make out with you at a rave is so easy that if you can't do it you need to just stop everything you're living for right now and start over from square 1: the womb. He's an asshole for bashing people who use drugs, especially at a music festival. People go to those events to safely enjoy a culture of m…

I believe that's more or less the point he's trying to make. The goal is to not waste your time being a kiss ass to people who won't give you the time and respect you deserve.

No, as in give the vibe that you're not a threat and are comfortable. Stand tall and proud, chest out, legs spread, a genuine smile on your face, hands visible and gesturing. You want to look like someone who's jolly and carefree and not like an uncomfortable child or a menacing club bouncer/bodyguard.

That's funny. I'm at UCF, back down in SoFlo for the summer. It's weird to think we might have gone to the same school, have mutual friends, or even know each other.

There's no recipe for attracting women. Train yourself to embody a man who is confident and motivated and they will show their interest. Beyond that, you must be comfortably honest with your feelings towards yourself and about women. Learn to accept your sexuality and treat women with respect as they are human and not with animosity, as they owe you nothing nor are they objects or goals.

Or it could sound like "I have a different goal in mind with seduction since it doesn't always have to be about getting meeting and fucking random women the first night I meet them."

Don't take it 100% literally. It's relevant in that humans feign apathy or refuse to invest emotionally into other people, especially those of their affection, as a means to protect themselves from the inevitable pain of rejection or unreciprocated feelings that may arise in a relationship. We tell ourselves in some way that it is a bad idea to become more intimate or involved with another person or at least show them how we feel because they may not feel that same way, and that hurts.

Do you see something wrong with this? Yes, you think a person's worth is two-dimensional: valuable or invaluable. Two people couldn't be equally valuable, they offer different perspectives, traits, and skill sets.
/r/seduction17/01/13 11:37 PM
3

I'm saying, if I have to choose between multiple equally awesome people to spend my time with, and some of them have amazing sex with me, then I'm going to pick the ones where I can also have amazing sex. This seems like a pretty simple decision. And this is where you, again, make sex the deciding factor in who you spend time with. You're valuing one woman over another because the only thing you think is different between them is that one will have sex with you.
/r/seduction17/01/13 11:30 PM

You can't really like two people equally. People are dynamic, they have differing characteristics to offer you.
/r/seduction17/01/13 11:28 PM

and 1 doesn't.... why would I make plans with her? I don't know, maybe because there's more a person can offer to other people than sex? Will you really not spend time with a woman just because she won't fuck you?

Sometimes I'm not in the mood for action or some high energy environment. Sometimes I just want to make a connection in a relaxed environment. Obviously it's different for older, more stable folks, but as a college student I can't pay cover multiple times a week. Hell, as a busy introvert, I find it hard to rationalize paying cover for a club at all most times. Around here, cover is generally $10-20 for a club, regardless of the day of the week. Everything fun in this college town is a 15-30 minute drive away and are financially representative of the downtown demographic. It's hard to spend money multiple times a week or even once a we…

Please point out where the hell I said to use DJing to get laid. My friend and his brother do it because they love DJing, music, and creation. My friend's little brother got head from an older girl while DJing a set at a party. The friend himself gets laid regularly due in part to his DJ status. It's a great way to meet women if you use it correctly, just as it is being any type of musician. As a DJ, it is your job to control and respond to the energy of the crowd, including the women, through your music. No need to be sorry, though I appreciate the sentiment! No, it's not easy. I still deal with a lot of issues from how my parents raised me, though I love them very much and forgive them because they did the best job they could given their upbringing, as really anyone does. Or it'll just create a man who acts in a 180 degree fashion in an attempt to not become his father. Not to mention you're completely ignoring the mother as a factor. How the mother copes with the father and son's relationship can help assert beta behavior.

Boost your social morale by getting to the party early and socializing, like /u/chikinpickle said. Also, remember there are other drinking games than beer pong. If nothing's going on besides beer pong, music, and conversation, be the guy to initiate other drinking games. It'll give people plenty to do, be an opportunity for more intimate conversation, and be a chance for kino.

Being inherently attractive is not the same as caring for your appearance. The sentiment behind "looks don't matter" is that you don't need to look like a Norwegian god-model to get girls, but you do need to take care of yourself. You need to love yourself, and how do you show that in some small ways? Exercising and dressing well. They show that you care about your health, that you're dedicated and that, while you don't rely on the acceptance of others, you convey yourself in a manner that garne…

Nerdiness isn't inherently bad. Social awkwardness with it is. I'd consider myself a pretty dorky guy, but because I enjoy myself for it and am not willing to change, it's an attractive trait. I am passionate about my nerdy shit instead of talking about it like it's lame. It can do that, but depending on the girl, it can also be that hint that she needs to let her know that she isn't in your interests. She may come to terms with that and potentially become a wingwoman, or get colder towards you as a result, from my experiences.

Nervous and hot aren't mutually exclusive. And a girl being nervous is often a hell lot cuter than a guy being nervous. Often times a nervous girl just needs that comfort built because she just isn't so receptive initially to people. That doesn't mean she's not worth your time. There is an entire spectrum of reasons for a girl you're attracted to to be nervous and none of them have to mean that she isn't worth your time.

I'm introverted and I don't particularly care for large groups of people, at least for very long. No, I'm not shy, it's just mentally draining to be in a loud, enclosed place like a club or house party with tons of people for extended periods of time. A lot of people confuse dressing well with always wearing a work clothes or some bullshit. You can dress very casually and still be considered well-dressed. Get clothes that fit you, not too tight to where it squeezes you but not too baggy to where you look like you're drowning in giant cloth. If you have skinny legs, stop wearing baggy/boot-cut jeans. How can I gauge how attractive I am physically? Look in the mirror and ask yourself, "Am I happy with how I care for this body I've been given?" If the answer is no, then you need to start changing your lifestyle so that you can say yes. That's all that matters because you can't change what's been given to you, only use it to its full potential. Quit looking for validation based on something out of your control.

You keep calling it an advanced skill like it's some sort of complex button combination in a video game or something. I've had great success approaching girls on the street, often times moreso than in clubs and such, and I'm relatively bad at seduction in general. I'm more comfortable approaching a girl when I'm out and about doing things during the day than in a dark, loud club. That has nothing to do with how many figurative skill points you put into a branch of your Seduction skill tree.

Clubs playing pop music aren't the only places to go meet women or to take a date to. There are plenty of salsa joints out there, especially in major cities. Not to mention that you don't have to only dance salsa for salsa to be useful to your dancing ability. Salsa teaches you a lot about hip and shoulder movement and leading that is useful to other dances. Hell, it's even useful to people who don't normally know how to dance. Being able to lead and turn ordinary dance movements into something …

Initially, I found sorority girls intimidating to talk to but very soon after I realized most of them (at least in Southern Greek life) are just insecure little high school girls in the bodies of college girls and with their bitch shields up more often than not. Now they can sense I mostly don't give two shits about their Greek life, and the ones worth pushing forward with are usually smart enough to change the topic to something more interesting to both of us.

I can't take the ignorance in your posts. Tanning and lifting weights doesn't make you a bro. Getting regular sunlight and pushing your body's limits is called being human. And tanning and getting tattoos aren't mutually exclusive. Not to mention that tanning doesn't mean you have to give up everything else to do it. Unless you make it a big deal, it won't be a big deal. I've actually forgotten my phone (and left it home on purpose) many times when I went out. I enjoyed myself without it and when it came up in conversation, I played it off. It has never hurt me, all it has done is force me to not whip out my phone during a conversation or anything like that.
/r/seduction18/04/12 07:15 PM
2

Your point is valid, but you're making it with the assumption that having a smartphone makes you a better person. Yes, the goal of seduction is to maximize the experience that you share with them. I can do that without a phone. Why? Because a phone is a material good that has nothing to do with who I am as a person. It is an object that is not a part of my identity in any way. Arguing that is a significant aspect of how I portray myself is just ignorant.
/r/seduction18/04/12 07:13 PM

That's such bullshit. I'm now forgetful and therefore lose value because I happened to forget my phone once? Do you lash out on people who lose their keys or miss a payment by a day? And did you even think that maybe some people make the conscious decision to not own a smartphone? Not everyone is obsessed with technology and I know several people who don't own a smartphone because all of its functions outside of calling, texting, and maybe a camera, aren't important to them.

You insist that they're your friends but they keep shooting you down. Be assertive. Ask them why they keep bashing your dancing and to cut it out because it's hurtful. If they can't stop doing that, then I'm sorry but they're not your friends, they're dudes you hang out with. Friends don't hold you back and insist on ragging on you in a hurtful way.

I would teach him early on. My father wasn't around to do those things for me and I don't want my son to go through the same thing.

It's so fucking true. If you act awkward in any situation, they will reflect it. I've have plenty of situations where I said "stupid/awkward" shit but because I maintained the mindset that it isn't awkward, they were cool about it and escalation continued.

You completely missed the point. He isn't saying that there is only one way to make you an expert in pick-up, he's asking what personal change created the most noticeable improvement. On that note, to say that every single thing you do to improve yourself are equal is ignorant.

There were a few very helpful things. A few experiences where everything went well with a woman and it boosted my ego, reading some books (The Art of Loving by Eric Fromm is a pretty good book that extends beyond erotic love). The most useful thing for me? Probably taking LSD and meditating on one occasion and taking MDMA and having a grand time on another.

I'm Hispanic and I've always greeted females with a hug and a kiss on the cheek, even ones I just met. Generally, they realize the cultural differences if they aren't Hispanic or European. I suppose it also helps that I live in South Florida.

I do the same. If I'm going out to a club or a house party, I'm playing the right music. If I'm throwing a house party, well I get the music started early and get my game face on. It sounds silly but having the right music playing while looking in a mirror and telling yourself that you're the man and clearing your head helps a lot, at least for me. P.S. The Notorious xx album mix is so good.

That's like saying "How about some Dick?" Not that I'm trying to invalidate your point, but that has actually worked for me on two separate occasions, though I wouldn't recommend it.

Well during it will for sure pretty much remove any trace of social anxiety. You'll pretty much love the fuck out of everyone and be really happy. Afterwards is a different story. Some people manage to keep that mindset after the come down but in any case the drug wears you out. For a couple of days, give or take, you'll feel fatigued and a little down emotionally. If anything, do your research before you decide to experiment with psychoactive drugs.

With the right set and setting, it can. Also MDMA can help with anxiety as well. There's actually been a few testimonials I've come across lurking on seddit. Again, not advocating drug use but they are options.

Instead of a suit, try a simple vest over a nice button-down shirt. If you want to look like a bartender. P.S. It doesn't look as good as you think it does. Better off just sticking with a button-down shirt.

You know, you're absolutely right. I would probably attribute that perception of what negging is as a result of outdated pick up methods that many people are just now reading about. I guess I feel like in a more modern, natural PUA's game, negging has less to do with blatantly undermining a woman's self-confidence and more about taking slight, joking jabs at a woman who has put up a front or her anti-douche/anti-chump shield in order to make her more comfortable. In any case I guess I just want …

I don't know where you got the "They should spend the night complimenting me on my appearance so I can ditch them later" message from at all, and quite frankly any person, man or woman, who intentionally leads someone on like that is an ass not worth anyone's time. Where did you get that message from the posts? At some point lower down those posts I saw some stuff about how a guy shouldn't be negging and should be telling her how attractive certain aspects of her are. And they keep working under…

I'll preface this by saying that personally, I don't neg girls when I talk to them. It's just something that doesn't come up in conversation really ever. Also, I think that a lot of those lines in that article were really stupid. However, reading through that 2X post, I kept shaking my head at what message I was getting out of their comments. A lot of it came off as if they wanted someone with Nice Guy Syndrome to talk to them. Most of what I heard was, "Why are they negging me? They should spen…

As others have said, the emphasis isn't on being interesting by default, it's on being passionate about things that pique others' interests. Don't be that boring guy that doesn't really do anything. Or it could be experiences. You can spend money on things that aren't material things but are still nice things, such as museums, shows, concerts, vacation spots, etc. Not to mention if you wanted to fill your time with a hobby you enjoy, the hobby might have costs of its own, such as for tools.

You missed his point though. There is no universal answer women will give you. It varies according to so many things, including their personal experiences, how attracted they are to you, your confidence, etc. There is virtually nothing a woman here or at 2XC will be able to tell you that will help you with this issue. Nothing, no matter how much you want to ignore that point, NOTHING. If I were female and sitting at a stop and a creepy neckbeard approached me a certain way, I'd have it in my min…

One day I was sitting around with some buddies who weren't feeling going out that night, even though we were talking about it all week. I've been a skinny guy too, I'm 5'10" and about 150lbs. At the beginning of my freshman year of university I started hitting the gym. It was an excellent gym, fully equipped and covered as part of being a student. By the end of my first semester (just 3 short months doing a typical workout routine) my posture improved, my chest and arms were bigger, I fit all of my clothes even better, and in turn my confidence was boosted and girls looked at me more. It helped confidence in the bedroom too.

That implies that we can change who we are, I don't believe we can. You can definitely do that. Maybe certain core elements of your personality are set in stone as Freud claimed, but to think that just because you do certain things routinely means that you are stuck doing them forever? That's nonsense. You can make a conscious effort to change what you do with yourself and how you react to things on a daily basis. That's a terrible defeatist attitude. I and many others used to be that way (hell, I'm not even completely over it, but for the first time in many years I am happy and confident in myself). What you need to do is tell yourself that you're interesting and work that into your conversation. And if you can't do that, you need to start doing things with your life that will turn you into an interesting person. I was mostly joking, but I do believe that situations are only as awkward as you make it seem. I've had times where I'd get into a stare-down with a random girl on campus who caught my eye. I've met some interesting people that way. They tend to turn out to be the ones who joke around a lot.

Work on your confidence. Keep thinking: "This hot chick is definitely into me and I will get her number." Small-talk is fine, it's just conversation while you're at work and you're going to be getting her number at that time, it doesn't need to be a deep conversation. Save stuff like that for when you take her out. Then you start digging around for her interests; get her to talk about herself. Once you start experiencing it, it becomes a lot easier than you think.

You won't come off as desperate. If you just bring it up casually during conversation you'll be fine, just have some confidence. If she wasn't interested and willing, she wouldn't have maintained a facade for so long.
/r/seduction28/08/11 05:12 AM

You say you make good conversation together and she flirts back at you. Just casually ease into asking her for her number during the conversation, maybe asking her to go grab some drinks or something. Don't try too hard, especially since she appears to be really into you.
