Read the book divorce poison. It has a lot of extreme examples but gives you good tips on how to handle the situation. Kids are smart they will see through the BS.

At 11 months since divorce was finalized. Feel like I made a ton of mistakes after the divorce but the biggest was not fighting for 50/50 parenting time. Currently at 80/20 and it sucks. I am trying to go back and get more time with my kids now but it isn’t easy.

Ya at first I tried to ask her to show me proof and then she told me that by denying her accusations of abuse I was gaslighting. That’s when I gave up and stop all communication I can

Right? I didn’t even have a say on what church we went too. I took her to whatever church she wanted. So not sure how she thinks I did that but guess it doesn’t matter unless she takes me to court.

No lawyer entire divorce was mutually agreed and signed without a lawyer. I think she is trying to set things up to take me to court to get more money out of me but that is just a guess.

I did let her know I wouldn’t respond to anything unless it involved our children and only if it required a response and left it at that.

Focus on yourself first. Make sure you are happy with yourself and don’t rely on others to make you happy. Once you are happy with yourself the other stuff will come.

I sold my house first split profits 50/50 divided up assets of the house. Then just checked the box on divorce paperwork that said to award property that was in our possession.

My ex wife cheated on me for 6 months. She was doing all of the same things your wife is doing. No sex for 6 months she getting it somewhere else. The gym gives her excuse to be smelly and sweaty after having sex with him. She hides her phone because she is messaging him nudes of her and telling him how much better he is than you. (Trust me this all happened to me) She tracks your phone not to give a crap where you are other than not around when she is with him. She is 100% cheating on you. Is s…

Do you know the verbiage that was used? Don’t think mine has anything specifically about having to agree. My ex just told me she signed up son up for football the same time my daughter has gym I’m not sure how to be in two places at the same time.

That’s why I am saying if I am free I will take them. I love spending time with them but she is trying to use it against me saying she can’t take them to practice on her days and the kids won’t be able to do their sports if I don’t help out.

Bro think about your girls, your saying they are being left home alone and that it is effecting your 10 year old. Even if you can’t get over your wife is this fair to your girls to be put in this situation? At some point your gonna have to man up and be the father your girls need.

I know lots of people here say lawyer up. I can tell you my ex and I did the whole divorce ourselves. Total cost of divorce was under $500. We both decided that we wanted our money to go to our kids and not to some lawyers. We split all assets 50/50 sold the house split 50/50. The only issue we had was with child support but in the state of AZ there is a a calculator that is there for a reason so we went with that. So it is possible to divorce without a lawyer.

Looking back I would agree. I tried to “stay for the kids” ended up just making everyone miserable. If she cheats just end it there.

I have kids every other weekend she gets them the rest of the time. I work 12 hour days and the days change every week, so too hard to make any other type schedule.

Other than having to pay her more than I can afford? The fact that she wants to CO-parent at everything. Halloween we will all trick or treat together, birthdays we will all have together, dropping the kids off just anytime she wants. Expecting me to be able to pick up the kids any time she is off banging someone else. Or expecting me to fix her whole families crap anytime it breaks. So I tell her no and then it’s just a constant bitch fest about how horrible I am.
