I’m sorry you’re going through this. It feels impossible and was the hardest thing I’ve been through too. I found videos from Dr. Maika Steinborn and Rachel Sloan on YouTube extremely helpful. They have a lot of great videos and tips to help regulate your system but also help with self confidence and knowing it wasn’t only you that led here. Good luck on this journey! We’re all in it together while we’re also all in it alone.

Keep in mind that all of those feelings can exist at the same time. You can be upset, angry, and pissed that she cheated, and you can also at the same time, want to be with your spouse, who you built a life with and feel guilty about leaving that. It took me a little while to work through my resentment, and I didn’t have the infidelity in my situation. I don’t think I could personally get over that, and I would choose divorce instead. Which is sad, but that’s me. I’m also military. My wife and I…

Sorry to hear you’re going through this. I’m still in mine and it’s tough every day and impossible when the random moments and feelings come up. Lack of sleep, eating, and concentration, sadness, and anger are completely natural. It affected me on and off for a long time. I’m a few months into my separation and my eating is great now, my concentration is pretty good, and my sleep is getting a lot better but still a work in progress. Look up videos from Dr. Maika Steinborn and Rachel Sloan on You…

It sucks, he was your past, present, and future. It’s gonna take time. Feel what you need to feel!

I get it. Overall and I wouldn’t have wanted that when I was deployed. Good luck to you, in every way needed!

Thanks! I’m working on being true to myself and the kids and helping her out less.

Can you tell us more about the relationships after that were part of the process?

Yeah, I’ve been trying to sit with my emotions to feel and process them. I’ve had a lot of guilt feeling like I could’ve done better and sooner. I’m angry at her for not trusting me or trying with me, especially with her acknowledging her part in our communication. I feel hopeless and devastated that our family and kids will be broken up. The thought of finding someone that will be kind, care for me, and compliment me makes me happy and brings me some hope, but jumping into the dating scene (may…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
