You responded to the OP but I think you meant to respond to one of the comments.

You have a good point. "Think for yourself! Join our cult!" I think RP distinguishes itself by being individualistic. It isn't telling you how to act and think (except for maybe to lift, etc.). I think its more just giving individuals information and letting them do what they want with it. That's why it's more about self-actualization and more like those wisdom traditions of letting people make their own journey rather than dictating their path.

I think it very much depends on the type of society they're living in. In ours, we don't have to make real decisions or face real competition until we hit like 25y/o.

I post a lot on unrelated forums. Maybe you didn't look hard enough through my post history. I'm not exactly sure what I'd say in addition to the sidebar tho. TRP at its core is a pretty simple message. Women desire to be with successful, self-fulfilled, high status men. Be those things, seek them for their own sake, and women will follow in abundance. Every other type of post on here recently is either a field report (women going after alpha stories, beta transformations, etc.), a political ran…

I'd like to point out I'm only skeptical of this claim because I think RP is important and I think it should have its shit straight to be presentable to the world. Having said that, is there really evidence that violent rape is an actual huge problem in Sweden or is that just a product of their willingness to define rape broader and their rape laws being more emphatically enforced (which this law demonstrates). Is there evidence of "violent rape" is increasing there, as we would think of it (lik…

Looking at this from another perspective, I wonder what they're saying about you and why? People don't behave that way for no reason. Are you sure she isn't telling them about episodes of abuse? If she's making that up you have a far more serious problem on your hands and you need to break up with her or her "thug" brother will eventually try to make good on his promise. If she's not making this stuff up and you are actually abusive then you need to take another, real close look at the side bar …

Open mindedness and the ability to dialogue in constructive and meaningful ways is only lacking in TRP to the extent that it's lacking in the rest of the world and in any "movement." TRP is just aggressive about it haha.

At some level, RP theory isn't that complicated and I think that's the level you can agree with. Lift weights, look good, be confident, etc. These are the things >people< are attracted to, like you say. What RP theory does is it kind of does an ultra parody of the things every woman wants and mechanically applies them like women have no agency in the equation. If you are alpha enough then there's no woman that you can't have. While this is empowering at some level because it removes all the rand…

Not understanding exactly how your two personal experiences of 1. A couple who are both apparently on the spectrum. 2. A girl you thought was nice but she rejected you because you're a beta. As for number 2, kudos to you for not being a "nice guy" and thinking being nice to this girl entitles you to sex and being a bitter incel about it. However, the very fact that she rejected you is proof enough of what this sub is about. Girls can be nice. I have friends that are girls. I've had ex-girlfriend…

Good info and analysis on the dating marketplace so +1 on that. However I will say that your solutions of turning back the sexual revolution are frankly impossible. Also the fact that 20% of men can coast through life on a veritable sea of easy pussy doesn't mean that there's nothing for everyone else. Being sex-starved is only a problem to the sex starved. Getting your fill of it every once in awhile isn't an impossible goal.

Your point-of-view is well-taken. How about we qualify the Tradcon position right now and narrow it down to just the proposition that "a plate can be spun indefinitely." And how about if we further narrow monogamy to be just interested in maintaining a relationship with certain people. It doesn't have to be an exclusive, monogamous attachment, but just an interest in and an enjoyment of emotional attachment to particular girls. I think these two, narrow facets of the tradcon mentality = an inter…

TRP can be seen as just info about sexual strategy. It's a tool. There's legitimate disagreement in the community about what to use that tool for. I think to really dismiss the tradcon position you'd have to answer at least one of the questions I put up there. I think, for starters, I should ask you: How long is it possible to "spin a plate" for? Is there an upper limit?

As a long-time lurker of TRP I'm intensely interested in this conversation just because I've noticed there are two kinds of folks on TRP the Trad-Cons and the more mainstream TRP faithful. I think your post was pretty spot on but I think it's unfair to say that Tradcons are trying to find a unicorn. I think, in most cases, it's more accurate to say that they think that, with proper frame and adherence to TRP, they can keep enough dread to be able to maintain a long term relationship. The way I understood the trend was that the modern nuclear family, especially the deemphasis on extended family was a Victorian shift. But it might be a continuing trend starting from the "dawn of civilization" or something. I've written a few pretty long diatribes on human partial monogamy on here. I might be able to fish em out if you're interested.
/r/RedPillWomen07/02/18 01:33 AM
2

Yeah. I think I don't have to be an unqualified despondent. I can just say that the current model of the nuclear family is inadequate. So I suppose the conservative attempts to keep it together are misguided more than hopeful. But I'm hopeful in that I'm not attached to that nuclear family model for satisfaction of that sense of belonging etc. I think it can be found in the community and in fraternity. I don't know exactly where that will leave long term relationships though. Like are these enti…

I was trying to list the two positions as I understood them, not advance my own opinion on which one is correct. I'm personally uncertain which view is correct. If I was forced to detail my position it would be that men have an intrinsic desire for longing and acceptance, but it's absurdly never able to be satisfied because the vulnerability that that entails destroys female attraction. I think the resolution of that paradox is more appropriate to vest in the creation of some kind of fraternity.…

This is a great question. TRP "theory" talks about hypergamy and women's natures a lot but hidden underneath it, in the deep depths of its lore, is really a criticism about men. It says there are not enough men being archetypal "men." And that this is causing a huge disparity in the sexual marketplace where those who remain "real men" alphas have no real incentive to "settle down" because they have all the "access" to sex that a man could ever want. If you believe that sex is all that men are af…

There's a definite fracture in the RP community itself if you pay attention to it or follow it closely. The old guard is always having to try to fight back against a creeping notion that with proper frame you can maintain a long-lasting relationship. I'll call them the hopefuls and the TRP old guard as the despondents. The hopefuls are unwilling to embrace the mantra "enjoy the decline" like the despondents. That mantra means that society is crumbling past the point of repair, that societal cond…

I think it was just an anodyne way of saying that women don't face a sexual pressure to develop or grow themselves. They can have intrinsic sexual value just by reaching maturity. It's not really that complimentary. But yeah this guy actually sucks at relationships. The line, "I can get physical access to her more often" is a joke

I guess let's just look at Rome then. I'm guessing that this History of the Decline of the Roman Empire is a source for your theory about this? I mean the thing that stands as an impediment to me is this: In Rome, women weren't allowed to vote. Also it's a possibility that women aren't solely responsible for the beginning of a declining and decadent society but their assertion of power in the absence of male dominance is merely a symptom of the underlying male power vacuum, not a cause.

I wouldn't mind seeing some more info on this. The only info I have on Roman patrician class women and their freedoms comes from a Lindybeige video and from that it would seem that their rights were limited to the domestic sphere (though this was more authority than feminist history would lead you to believe). I'm not sure I'm completely on board with your theory that the expansion of women's rights = the fall of empires mostly because I'm actually suspicious that these empires actually gave wom…

I mean it's a simple characterization. Yours is equally simple. And RPW might be more about how to get traditional relationships but RP as a whole is about how to deal with the social reality of women getting more freedom to choose their partners and exploring the concepts of hypergamy and female choice. RP is divided into three or four different camps all wrestling with this problem so its difficult to characterize. The 1st is that women's hypergamy can't be contained and that's alright because…

Not a RPW, just think this was an interesting question for the community to grapple with it. In a lot of ways, if your relationship is more platonic by nature and more akin to a close friendship than a sexual one then RP theory might not need to apply to you. The problem that RP attempts to grapple with is just the idea that women can't find men attractive over long term unless they're assertive, fit, have a mission, and control their lives (to a degree). If you find that those things don't appl…

It is difficult to provide specific examples of this mostly because it is a constant, as far as I know, to have agricultural societies that are politically controlled by men throughout recorded history. Any pre-agricultural or early agricultural societies that were matriarchal have been lost to history. There is some speculation that pre-Celtic peoples of Europe might have had some matriarchal elements but that's speculation of the highest order brought about by Joseph Cambell's reconstructive m…

I addressed your argument's subtlety about culture raising or lowering the incidence of PTSD. I will just say that there's a lot we don't know about the condition. It could be as simple as being continuously exposed to loud, concussive noises of explosions and small arms fire etc. I suppose what would make this clearer would be an elaboration on what warrior culture is and why it would have any effect on PTSD. Loss of control theory is only one theory on the condition but its interesting that yo…

There are a lot of good articles about how PTSD has always been with us, regardless of the masculinity or feminity of a particular culture or whatever your theory is. I remember in particular reading theories about how the Odyssey is a story at least in part about PTSD: http://www.militaryhistoryveteran.com/the-odyssey-and-ptsd/ I was first ecposed to this theory through a book by Karl Marlantes, a veteran of the vietnam war and author. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karl_Marlantes At any rate,…

Yeah that PTSD theory sounds pretty offensive imo and I'm definitely not a SJW. PTSD is more related to the conditions of certain wars and the requirement for constant vigilance. Wars like the Iraq war and Vietnam had no fixed fronts or rules against an ill-defined enemy that could strike at any time. It's the exposure to constant horror and happened during the civil war & WWI especially. I don't think it can be tied to mental fortitude or feminization. I don't necessarily disagree with your vie…

It's true he didn't spell it out and it would reinforce his post if he did. But my point still stands independently of the OP. Hunter-gatherer societies were displaced by agricultural ones and those societies, for one reason or another, were patriarchal.

I think I might challenge your factual characterization. I might need to fish out some sources here but, within western (particularly American) society, low marriage rates and higher incidences of infidenlity are correlated strongly with less prosperity. So countries that are more traditional in their gender roles and also less wealthy (those tend to be correlated world-wide) tend to have high incidences of teen pregnancy etc whereas countries that are wealthy but less patriarchal have lower inc…

I think this post is interesting in its premise but it's weighed down by trying to hit all the RP talking points. I think that this post would be better served by just focusing on its "meat" which is that patriarchy is a product of evolutionary group selection. What I think it really needs in particular is a more detailed discussion of the conditions that led to patriarchy having survival fitness (which you did address in your post) AND a discussion about how the conditions TODAY haven't changed…

I kind of see the resurgence of the right in response to immigration etc to be a proportional response, so, to compare it to the boy's immune system, the more foreign invaders come in the more the body kicks up a natural immunity to them. You don't want it to be a fascist state that has an essentially allergic, overblown response to foreign cultures. Sargon of Akkad identifies as a classical liberal amd I tend to as well. I think the difference in a lot of cases is that liberals, when they aren't Blue Pill, can accept female nature and hypergamy for what it is and recognize that it's better for women to make their own decisions in that regard (better genes for humanity, more reason to compete for men, etc) whereas conservatives are more willing to want to roll back women's rights in order to contain the sexual revolution. Yeah that's my point. It's all those other things: assertiveness, success/money, and leadership qualitites, as well as physical traits like height and musculature. Those things can be possessed by guys that are on all parts of the moral spectrum. But if you ask the redpill crowd they'd say that faithful and nice are more "beta" qualities.

You said abuse and alpha are "polar opposites." So i took a nonabuser to be a virtuous man. My point is just that there are no moral components attached to being alpha. Whether a person abuses or no had nothing to do with that status. I think your issue here is that you're conflating terms here. Traditional/moral does not equal red pill aware. Red pill aware does not equal alpha. Traditional/moral does not equal alpha. Abuser has no strict relation to any of these. Alpha does equal attractive to…

I'm not sure "alpha" is a quality of a virtuous, perfect man like you make it out to be. It just means that it's just some guy that fits the criterion of being physically attractive, fit, and high social status. There is no moral attachment to that attraction by women. In fact, it may even be the opposite, where women are actively attracted to antisocial behavior (hybristophelia). So therein lies the problem.

In regards to your point about men, yeah there are a lot of embittered dudes out there. But most are still saps. By no means are most guys TRP aware or anything. The problem for women has never been finding willing partners, it's been finding willing partners that they can be attracted to (which is something you can't control) The problems TRP talks about are problems that men have to deal with. I think treating them like a male friend is impossible. Treat them like an overly sensitive and weak male friend that's gay or something maybe but treating them like you would a male friend and asking them to go play football with you or help you move furniture or something is retarded. That's a little nitpicky but I'm just saying treating them like a male friend is impossible. You can even do things like open doors for them and not be a cuck beta orbiter (tm).

It's so useful to have female friends I completely agree. The problem with making them most of the time is just that they always think you're coming onto them -.- The line between friendly and flirty is very thin I guess.

I think I may be misreading it but I think RP emphasizes independence and not reliance on relationships with women. You can be in a monogamous relationship for a long time if that's what you want but just always be ready and vigilant that your spouse can drop you on a moment's notice and will want to if you ever drop your "frame" and stop working on yourself. RP is a boot camp of sorts and AWALT is a motivator. It essentially just emphasizes that there are no free rides when it comes to women an…

Everyone knows that the "beta" is the right choice. It's just that women don't actually prefer them against all reason. So saying that you "want" a beta man is kind of impossible/useless.

What the hell is this lol? Who came up with these statistic and on what basis? It doesn't even say how they attempted to quantify "alpha and betaness." There's some kind of happy medium between the two which is why both BP men and "Alpha" dudes still exist today. If one strategy was clearly better than the other the other would not be around still. Really I think you're asking me what the ideal man should be which is pretty hard but I think it could be summarized as a guy that wants to be responsible and a caretaker but also isn't a doormat and fulfills his paternal needs on his own terms and keeps his family in line while also providing for th…

Well it's interesting that hypergamy was the chief culprit to fatherlessness. Which upends the narrative about deadbeat dads and makes the blame fall on women with unrealistic expectations. I mean really what actually valuable man would want to raise another man's child when he has other options? The deadbeat dad narrative that a lot of black women subscribe to inflates their own value and increases their standards which exascerbates the problem, apparently. Interesting read, OP. I think the friendzone is mostly self-imposed. It comes from men not telegraphing attraction properly. People just need to realize that there are essentially no consequences for saying that you're attracted to someone physically. 9/10 the girl will still want to hang out with you etc even if she doesn't reciprocate so it's not like you're losing a potential friend or anything. I think it's really just oneitus that causes the friendzone and orbiting. People get dead-set on the idea of the opportu…

How to passively get guys to go out with you is something I hear people complain about a lot on here and just in life in general. Sure enough. Yeah I mean it might be different here in America than it is in Europe but there shouldn't be a shortage of assertive guys. It's human nature. As for making them as assertive as you're used to...I'm not sure about that. Girls are more "romantic" in that they just want guys to be perfect naturally when literally nothing about being a perfect guy comes naturally. You don't have to be religious at all to believe in separate gender roles etc. You clearly are an example of that. And I would say that acting that way because of religious belief is inflexible. It causes gender roles to be mandated instead of preferred. Like if a woman works as a mechanic and her husband is a nurse its not religiously unacceptable etc. I wouldn't compromise on your religious beliefs to find a suitable man. Instead I would be open to the idea of coaching. All new relationships r…

Just as a disclaimer, I'm a male: You can still wear a dress or skirt in flats. Heels and skimpiness aren't mandatory. Maybe try something that's just cute. Look up some indie stuff. There are mixed opinions of this person but I don't know a lot of actresses so she's all I have to suggest: Zoe Deschanel. Her wardrobe is typically feminine and never "desperate" or over the top.

What I've understood feminism to be for a long time is the self-destruction of the female identity and an attempt to render everything male. Feminism is the cry of "I can do that too." From wearing men's clothing and shirking more feminine clothes to actively disdaining traditionally feminine tasks. Admittedly most of these developments were positive. In the end, it will pan out to women adopting traditionally female things out of choice rather than by social decree and you will start to see the…

I guess what you're saying is that there are two "types" that matter, extrovert and introvert, and they are equally distributed by gender and that extroverts have an easier time finding similar folks just due to the nature of it. Certainly cross dating across these types happens though.
/r/TheRedPill08/07/17 02:48 PM

Interested in "type." A lot of guys would, including me, would describe themselves as "nerdy." I mean I work out and I try to socialize etc but I still play magic & read a ton for hobbies etc. So what there seems to be is a disparity in "types" among gender where you see some cultures being not evenly distributed through across sexes.

TRP is usually against treating women with "respect" meaning just that when women claim they want to be respected they're lying to themselves and instead rather want to be lead. It should be taken for granted that a man wants to have sex with you if he's attracted to you. It's not really an question of "respect" for this attraction to happen. Wittholding things you want to do because you want to draw 'commitment' I think counts more as playing mind games.

Everytime there is a political post in TRP proper that goes too conservative there are always voices of dissent, including me. There was a poll recently put up and at least 25% of respondents identified as liberal or socialist so that's a significant minority. I know it's why I'm still here (as well as for the evopsych knowledge and because I like reading angry screeds) But yeah I was reading some stuff about Zen Buddhism awhile ago and there's an interesting parallel in that approach to TRP. Exemplified in the work of Herman Hesse particularly Siddhartha. Essentially the zen path is one of an initial starting point, some sort of journey, and a return to the starting point but with a new perspective (mirroring Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey). A stor…

I'm an amateur philosopher at best but I think from what I understand about MacIntyre following your "path" is essentially the heart of virtue ethics because in virtue ethics your life's satisfaction derives from adhering to the strictures of a certain role. Like in past societies your role would be soldier, priest, farmer etc. and your satisfaction would come from fulfilling the entelechy (purpose) of those roles. MacIntyre's thesis is that western society went off course from this with the pos…

You kind of dissed philosophers but what you're advocating here is essentially Virtue Ethics which is one of if not the oldest form of western ethics predating Socrates and going back to Homer. I think this argument is mostly just about the proper extent that a government is federated which is always an interesting discussion for me but I wonder why that kind of decentralized approach necessarily falls outside the scope of a socialist economy to you. I think dread really just embodies the principle of conditional love which makes it so both parties are aware that they cant let the relationship get stagnant. Dread in a relationship is envoked by the feeling that their partner is a valuable commodity and they are afraid of losing it so they work to avoid that. Basically a man who has his shit together and in command just exudes "dread" naturally so long as he does not cede the "pants" in a relationship.

It's just that interpersonally any decision I want for my household and children is probably a more reasonable, correct, and well informed decision than one that my spouse would come up with (unless she was smarter than me). If the relationship goes the other say in terms of who makes better decisions than that's how it should go.

I mean really what does it mean to 'Wage war against SJW-ism?' What is your actionable solution? In my mind SJWism is an ideology that thrives off of victimhood not unlike early christianity. If you engage with violence it actually reifies their points and increases their strength. To me the only proper response is to laugh at them. I mean really what are they going to do? They're not violent (It's a women's movement). And they actively try to undermine their own ability to attract men to them a…

Height Status Fitness Confidence Salary ("drive"/"ambition") Interesting/"fun to be around" There's some overlap here (i.e. its easy to be confident when you have all the others) but I think this is closer to being accurate. I think what is interesting in our society these days is that these two things you've mentioned "provider" traits and "sexual attractiveness" are often at odds with one another. So for instance, a sexually attractive man has traits like height, fitness, and bravado (asocial …

I was just kind of thinking about my criterion and I was just thinking I had two qualities 1. They're attractive. 2. They actually like me. 2 seems pretty simple bit it ecompasses a lot because it entails all the things that women take into consideration when they're vetting a man. For example, I appreciate when a woman understands what I'm saying on an intellectual level and can appreciate it but I don't need for her to be so educated if it's not a big deal for her. I learned this when I was da…

I think this sub's main concern is with commitment. Basically how to sustain and improve existing relationships and how to prevent yourself from being "taken advantage of" when you're "vetting" people. This of course assumes that commitment is what you're looking for. Now I think that a lot of women here would counsel against listening to hypergamy because they feel that knowing your own SMV and finding people close to that makes it more likely that you won't be taken advantage of and pumped & d…

Im pretty skeptical of the 'consequences' of sexual activity and i'm not sure that came across in my post. Are you comfortable dating shorter men? If you are, then you might have to find a way to signal that because that restriction is so prevalent in society that most men just have it ingrained in them that women taller them are off-limits. Online dating is a great way to overcome this. If not, you'll just have to up your game and learn how to approach men. The problem you kind of face is that all women are gunning for the 6'0+ers so you have a lot of competition.
/r/RedPillWomen28/02/17 07:32 PM

We might have different definitions of really smart I guess. I'm thinking really smart is like 10% of people. Then 6 feet tall+ dudes are like generously 50% of the population so that's a dating pool of 5% of eligible men right off the bat.

I think its important that TRP emphasizes conditional love and not "commitment." I.e. if your wife stops actually liking you and stops having sex with you or cheats on you etc. Then you should be ready and willing to jump ship. The gravest sin for a man to do in that ideology is commit when its not warranted and "be a cuck." So that word "commit" doesn't really mean anything in that conditional context because either your wife is fulfilling your needs and you have no reason not to keep her aroun…

Yeah trp kind of overlooks the existence of the "emotionally mature" woman that appreciates and seeks out the feeling of being considered "special." I'm on the fence about it. They make strong points for "dread" which is directly counter to that and emphasizing that you're not a doormat and liable to leave if disrespected etc. Or they might just despise the process it takes for those women to "mature" into looking for a romantic partner because it involves getting their heart broken a lot and th…

Yeah that makes sense to me. TRP emphasizes being extroverted as general advice but i tend to think that just "interesting" is a better requirement. I think introverts can kind of draw people to them with their self development. At any rate do you see that difference between introvert and extrovert as more of an "additional" vetting requirement or is it something that would cause you to compromise on the big five up there to get it.

I think "type" implies that those traits are in exclusion to others. So if I think I understand what you are trying to say is that you are not attracted to men that present themselves as "bad boys." However, and this is not me trying to be offensive, but on TRP this might be called hamstering because if you were presented with a man particularly well endowed with those big 5 traits then you might convince yourself to see that "type" in him. I think the price of sex would go down astronomically if sex work was more normalized. It would stop being that lucrative. Also sex work for women is essentially them having sex with people they don't want to, so I don't think its difficult to imagine why they don't want to do it. "Alpha" men don't have to pay. Women actually want to have sex with them. So this scenario where 'women are already hopping into bed with men without commitment so why not get paid for it' is a fantasy. Also I think yo…

High SMV men of color. Lol SMV for women is determined by what other women think which is determined by what old white men think ultimately. They don't like minorities as much because they're taught its trashy. SMV for women isnt as intrinsic, they're programmed. They know that nothing in America is more desirable than a well off white guy so that's what they try to get so their children have a better shot at being well off white guys.

Yes the BLM antagonism towards Sanders was surreal. It's not a unitary movement, but the definitely discredited themselves on that front. It was completely illogical to oppose Sanders. He has been nothing but stellar on his civil rights record. He even had past activism under his belt and they somehow even managed to subvert that and use it against him. The propaganda machine is strong.

That's definitely true. And it's different for the ultra rich because, though there is diminishing returns on the SMV you get from wealth it is possible to get so much wealth that it essentially translates into unlimited SMV even though the return for each dollar diminishes. I'm a man and I can definitely see that applying especially because it can often be used to gauge how a person feels for you in general. So if a person has lost physical attraction to you then they probably also have lost other kinds of attraction and respect. Unless their sex drive has just been taken out of commission I'd say the withholding of sex either means she's disgusted by you or she's getting it somewhere else and both I think are sufficient grounds to terminate a relationship.

Online dating. Go older rather than younger (if you're really looking for start a family thing). I say go online because that's where the age gap is most likely to be bridged. I can't speak for successful girl profiles tbh but I think they should be good conversation starters about something you like because they will inevitably try to talk about it. i'd say just realize that women do this thing online where they think men are much less attractive than they are irl (because they are b/c their pi…

Publications will rebrand the material to make it more palatable more often than not. Also the SMV side of it is something publications do all the time. RMV is where things might get contentious.

This sounds functional but I'd follow it for sheer interest. It might seem like a tall order at first to quantify all of human attraction like that i'd just advise to think of it as more of a loose approximation. With luck as a quiz it could even make the rounds through a lot of popular media (given how ubiquitous pop quizzes are I dont think its tough to imagine). Im sure dating websites have this info they're just not going to publish it due to public flak.

xD the refractory period I wasn't expecting to laugh in this thread. As for your second paragraph, some men might be able to go that "low" but I personally would rather just be celibate. I think it might have to do with the degree to which your brain is masculinized. Maybe mine just isn't as much so I retain some feminine "pickiness" to a higher degree than others? I don't really know. I'm in the same boat as you just spitballing.

I think maybe it's used to explain why some women have toxic relationships with their exes and they keep "going back." I don't know if there's a male equivalent to that. If a man ends an unfulfilling/unfaithful relationship I don't see him going back.

It's kind of on the intelligent men to not be bootlickers. We all learn the hard way. That's what TRP's all about. As for whether or not you can aid the process, I suppose the only thing you can do is mention that you prefer things a certain way. It's hard though because you want authenticity and a naturally "take-charge" person though not someone following a prompt. Best thing I could advise is just reinforcing dominant behavior when it occurs and hopefully it'll awaken some awareness in these …

I say zero but honestly I think the n- count stuff is a crude measure at best for how loose/slutty a person is. Basically if all the times you've had sex was in a committed relationship and you weren't rapidly getting used and abused and tossed around by guys on the CC then it doesn't really matter what your n- count is. I will say though that having a high n-count is really only possible on the CC though. Both LTRs I've been in tend to last a couple years and something like that would only incr…

If you can bear to watch the things you gave your life to broken, and stoop and build them up with worn out tools. Those are probably the most powerful lines in the poem so it makes sense. It's probably a little frivolous to go into more detail about this but I was wondering about it still. For example I was reading a study of attention paid to men on online dating based on how much they reported their income. Men who were shorter had to make like 10000 dollars more annually per inch each inch below 6'0 to get the same amount amount of attention as 6'0+ men. I was wondering if other traits could be similarly quantifiable.

I mean thats all well and good but a marriage, the institution, is a false sense of security for all those other things. Looking at it from an objective standpoint, in terms of consequences, a marriage (with a prenup, always a prenup) is not binding. So from that perpective it is a party.

Female sexual strategy only becomes interesting when trade-offs have to be made. When a woman has high SMV & RMV she can keep the commitment of a high-value man with good genes & provider status/personality. However, when the woman lacks those, her game is to compromose with a provider status male and sleep around with those that have better genes. In other words, AF/bb. There's data corroborating that low-income & status communities have more infedelity than communities that aren't.

I learned that make-up and a woman's willingness to wear it is a great sign of her opinion of you. If a woman doesn't maintain appearance for you and wittholds sex then I've learned to just walk out the door (I learned the hard way, btw. Not proud of this). That said, make- up is fine. I think your theory is a dressed up version of the old Romantic myth of a partner that "completes" you. Truth is, nothing external will round out or complete you. You can be in relationships with people that are both like and unlike you as long as you're attracted to them and you both have emotional maturity. Ha well let me give it a shot then. This is reddit, after all. What is it for if not for debating? You have separate standard for men. In your sidebar you call them the "gatekeepers of commitment" like that's what they have to offer women and women "gatekeepers of sex." So I would assume based on that that there is some kind of standard that you would hold men to where he gives away his commitment too easily to people that don't deserve it (on TRP they call this being BP) so you wouldn't concern…

Well see that seems a bit like a kind of way to scientifically dress up the idea that women are "degraded" by having multiple partners. I'm just not sure I buy the whole "Oxytocin" tolerance theory that we're kind of working with here. Also I'd like to see a functional way for these ideas to come into effect because it sounds like your advice is just for women to not have any romantic/sexual encounters until she's of a marriageable age and I just feel like that's not very actionable. It assumes …

Man here, what you posted did seem pretty off-topic & needing its own thread. I don't see why you guys don't discuss RP/BP values here though. Your name has Red Pill in the title.

This is always interesting to read about stuff like this because this seems like a completely different world than the one I know. I was reading the lurid sexual escapades of Jessica Valenti the other day (Book: Sex Object) because I was doing some research on 3rd Wave Feminism for a Romanticism article I'm trying to write and it had this effect on me. It's just strange to realize that it's not just the secular trend of all developed countries that everyone is having less sex. It seems to be tha…

Always been curious about this. What is it exactly about CC riding that makes it so offensive. I know it leaves a bad taste in men's mouths and might reflect on your wisdom but does the CC actually have any negative effects to your person? Does it change a person in an actual & negative way?

The illustration I use when talking about this idea with people is that people build personalities and virtues like spiders build webs (especially true for relationships, heh. I wish I could remember this quote but it went something like this. "In love, we seek someone who will believe our lies.") I liked your post so much because I often struggle with the idea of having "lost my inner self" or smothered it with all my knowledge about how I should act. I struggled with this for a long time but t…

M[23]. This. I honestly prefer when my women are a little schemey and intelligent. It makes things more interesting. I laugh at the RP forum sometimes when they harp on female "deception" for things even as benign as make-up when the whole RP subreddit is essentially about modifying yourself. I want my children to be cunning and artful. As ironic as it is, artifice is natural for humans and those who are better at it succeed. Have a gold. Apologize in advance for any hate-mail you might get for …

What could women do to change? I'm interested. Or do you just think that sexual selection is the only driving factor in self-improvement and so women just do not feel the incentive.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
