My husband had this issue when we first got together. I was his first girlfriend when we met and he was already 30. I do know that he's very mechanical in his thinking, along with being below average height compared to other men where we live and Vietnamese in a predominantly white community. He also has a very high IQ and he's a classified genuis. Men who are incredibly gifted in the IQ department often relate poorly to a lot of women. Whilst men and women are different they need to be able to relate to each other somewhat. My husband tends not to get along brilliantly with most women and I noticed my female friends and my mother and her friends took a strong dislike to him. I can't understand why as he treats me really well. He is far better than the men they are with and I have a far better life than they do with the men that they choose. He is the most reliable man I have ever met and hes incredibly brave and assertive without being cocky or aggressive. He is also the most loyal and determined father there is. He will do anything for his children and he has been very supportive of me in everything I have done. I just don't know what women haven't seen in him previous to me but it's their loss. He's certainly not the sensitive or romantic type and he can be very blunt and nitpicky sometimes but his other characteristics make up for those flaws. I am not the most physically attractive woman and I feel incredibly lucky to have met a man like him when so many of the women I grew up around paired off with drunks and jailbait.

Amused or intrigued? No. Most people don't spend a lot of time thinking about other people. Are men intrigued by girls who can't get a man?

Are most girls that aren't red pilled at least on some level amused, or maybe intrigued, by guys who can't get a girl?

If a guy has been friend zoned by a girl, what goes on in her mind watching him continually fail to attract someone of the opposite sex?

I have no idea what goes on in the minds of the typical girl who would "friend zone" a guy while observing his failures with women.

It's sad. I think those men have the same problems as anyone else; personal growth is hard. All types of men find a girlfriend or wife. Those who don't failed to cultivate personal strength and accomplishhments. getting caught in ''poor me'' and ''blame women''

If you've been friend zoned, maintain your dignity and self respect and distance yourself from her.

Don't be petty or rude- acknowledge her politely when you see her and that's it. Move on

Self confidence is more compelling than blindly devoting yourself to a girl who already friend zoned you.

I've seen other women feel pity for and (among girl friends) express mild disgust for men who continually get rejected. Depends on various factors. Mostly a mildly amused and repulsed feeling, it seems, while feeling sorry for the guy and usually bad because they've had to do the rejecting. It gets worse if the guy goes on Nice Guy Syndrome and laments about what a good guy he is and how all the girls want awful guys instead.

Just heads up, your post might be considered off topic here. But I'll give you my perspective.

If a guy comes off desperate, and is moping around a lot about being rejected or not being able to find a girl, it will be a turn off for me. I prefer men with more confidence. Being single for a long time is fine in my eyes, as long as he is comfortable with himself.

Being rejected is normal, but it's how you handle rejection that counts. If you're a mopey loser about it, it's incredibly noticeable and unattractive. Same with being jaded about interactions with the opposite sex. Had my fair share of guys friends who would get friend zoned by a girl and just stay in the friend zone and worship her at her feet. Super embarassing to watch. Men like that register as gay to me.

This may sound cold but I think in the situation you describe (a woman has rejected a man, and he can't get any other woman either), the woman is not going to give his romantic situation much thought at all. She is most likely not going to pay attention, unless he comes to her to complain about it. If he does that she's more likely to feel compassionate or indifferent than "intrigued" or "amused."

I was more using the friend zone as an example. The situation is that a couple that I am close to (both my age and friends when we were all single), know that I am struggling to find a girl who is interested. But in the past, other girls I thought I was friendly with have seemed kind of condescending towards my situation. Two girls chuckled over the thought of me asking some girl out when they thought I wasn’t around. One of the girls, who I later found out hated me, invited me to a gathering she frequently visited to meet girls there. The first girl recently watched me get five seconds into a conversation with a girl who abruptly ended it and walked away which started this.

I don’t think I act mopey towards women, but I am very shy, a bit defensive, and a little too serious. I will admit to not being a very fun person. Please don’t take that to mean I have problem with girls, at all. But due to experiences I’ve had there are times when I have my guard up when meeting new people in general.

Without giving too much away, I am very short for a guy and have some physical challenges. As many girls have called me handsome as they have ugly. Don’t know what to make from that. Maybe insecurity about my looks has led me to compensate by desiring an attractive girl. Also, all my friends seem to get very attractive girls, and mistaking friendly smiles with interested ones (I think some people over display friendliness when they notice my handicap) might have helped me over estimate my chances for someone ‘attractive’. It’s just, lately it seems EVERY girl out there is totally out of my league. In the past couple months, I’ve been rejected by three girls that a year ago I wouldn’t have thought of pursuing. And a year ago, I was pursuing girls I had never been interested before that. And so on…Then I see these same types of girls with guys I feel inferior to in so many ways.

The fact that this guy cares what she is thinking is a problem. If you're happy making a new friend, that's great. But, otherwise you have to move on. Its never good to stick around where you aren't wanted.

If a guy constantly is being rejected, he's probably talking to the wrong women for himself. Change of environment would help. Talking to nice average women would help also. Whatever average means to you. You have to find out where you fit in best. Where there are women looking for a guy like yourself.

Guys who can't get a girl need to aim for a very hot girl in my opinion. Because very hot women are often overlooked because everyone thinks she is taken. They can also aim for someone not attractive because she is often overlooked for a relationship just like the very hot girl.

Most men are going for average women because they aren't intimidating and don't have a "princess" stereotype attached to them just because they're pretty. That gives average women lots of options for relationships.

And, of course, the man needs to have full time employment, grooming habits, and be kind, but that is obvious. If he's being rejected even after all that, its probably because he lacks one of those.

I don't think I actually know any guys in real life that can't get a girl. Literally every guy I was friends with has had success with a hook-up, LTR or marriage. So it surprises me that there's so many out there.

It doesn't bother me if a guy is friend-zoned by other girls. I realize a lot of girls have bad taste. Lots of girls go for players and assholes.
